Numero Due Zogno Reviews
Excellent seafood cuisine, very tasty, plentiful, and carefully prepared. The service is provided by friendly young waiters. We will definitely return when we visit the Brembana Valley.
An excellent seafood dinner in perfect company. My friends and I had seafood salad, spaghetti with seafood and clams, and tuna and sea bass main courses. Everything was delicious, and we paired it with a good bottle of wine. Highly recommended! The staff was friendly and helpful.
I went here on the recommendation of friends....I'd say it was an excellent choice! We had a mixed antipasto, spaghetti allo scoglio, and a grilled meat for two. Everything was really good and plentiful. A small savory tart as an entrée and a liqueur with meringues and biscuits at the end of the meal, kindly offered on the house, were also very welcome. My compliments to the young, friendly, and well-trained staff. I'll definitely be back... maybe for the paella and sangria evening!
We were there for dinner today. The restaurant not only has a great location with a wonderful view, but also very attentive, friendly service. The kitchen is excellent. The chef knows what he's doing. Ate a total of 3 courses, all were excellent. There was also a pleasant little break between the courses, which was good for digesting. All together it is a wonderful experience that should not be missed.
Just perfect 🤩 came in on for my Birthday and had the most amazing degustation menu with a sparkling wine, service warm and friendly and the owner is extremely caring with his customers. Will come back for sure 😊
We had dinner there and it was fantastic! The woman who looked after us was very kind, and Chef Marco's dishes were original and generous portions! A great place to eat excellent fish in the Brembana Valley. The desserts were delicious, and the pineapple baked in foil with a touch of chili pepper was special.
A great discovery. We ate delicious fish, the chef was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is welcoming and has a spectacular view of the river. Recommended. The mint and licorice liqueur with biscotti and meringues was a welcome addition to the meal. There's also a reserved parking lot for guests.
A hidden gem! We found this seafood restaurant randomly and it exceeded our expectation! Wonderful food and service, clean and efficient, despite it was Labour day so apparently they were a bit short-staffed. But they take their food seriously. We had their tasting menu and we enjoyed every dish, a perfect dinner. Compliments to the chef and staff.
I called before booking to make sure it was wheelchair accessible, and they told me there was only one small step. When we arrived, we found a first step of about 20 cm, maybe a little more. Furthermore, there were all cars parked out front, so we couldn't get through. So much so, we had to call the owner of one of them to have it moved so we could try to get up. Honestly, it would have been very difficult for me to get up there alone with my partner, so the waiters came out to help us. I urge the restaurant to provide more detailed and accurate information, otherwise they're making it difficult for me to handle people with disabilities. Let's just say that if you want to eat good seafood near Bergamo, it's not bad at all. The cod meatballs and gnocchi with swordfish were nothing special. The baby octopus stewed with polenta and the seared tuna with fried vegetables were very good. The atmosphere was definitely too noisy; it was hard to maintain a conversation. The atmosphere is shabby, more like a tavern than a restaurant. The staff is decidedly inattentive to the customers; my companion had to practically wave his arms every time to get attention. The quality and price are fair.
Conscripts' dinner. A small restaurant with a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. The view of the Brembo River from the windows is beautiful, even as evening falls. Nothing to complain about the food; we had fish and were all satisfied, especially with the generous portions. It was a little hot despite the air conditioning being on, but nothing unbearable. Let's say the only downside was the wait for the dishes, but all in all, given the food, the service, and the friendliness of the staff, who even offered us a round of digestives, the wait was worth it.
A pet-friendly restaurant with parking and a river view. The food is excellent, with generous portions and carefully prepared seafood dishes. The service is provided by young, friendly waiters and attentive staff. The wait for our Sunday lunch was a bit long...I think it was because the restaurant was almost full, but it was worth it to enjoy excellent dishes and finish the meal with an excellent melon liqueur on the house. The location could use some improvement in terms of design, colors, and finishes, as it's a bit too bland and poorly maintained. This is a flaw that this restaurant deserves, given its great potential, especially its excellent cuisine. The quality/price ratio is fair. We'll be back for dinner!! Highly recommended
NUMERO DUE in Zogno is a nice, welcoming and well-kept place, ideal for a quiet evening. The quality of the raw materials is evident in every dish: fresh and well-selected ingredients make the culinary experience pleasant. However, the service leaves a little to be desired. In fact, between the appetizer and the second course, the wait was excessive, exceeding an hour. This ruined the pace of the dinner a bit. Despite this, the prices are honest and competitive, making the restaurant still a good option for those looking for a good quality-price ratio.
Excellent sea food. We took the whole items taste menu (assaggi). Fresh and excellently cooked. The only negative is the very slow service.
Good average dishes, nothing exceptional. I don't understand why they don't fully enhance the flavors and taste of river fish. (given the proximity to the river, almost right next to it). I found myself in this place on a Saturday night. Only three waitresses serving and only one of them taking orders and cashing in. This led to a very slow service. 40 minutes to take the order and in two hours total only one appetizer and two first courses. Definitely too long. The place is beautiful, clean and with a view. It has a beautiful terrace on the river, very romantic.
I'm surprised by the high reviews for this place, given the poor quality of both the dishes and the ingredients. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses that we sent back, a second course, and a dessert. The price is moderately high, but it's not so much that, but rather the kitchen's inability to produce tasty, well-prepared dishes. The linguine with clams was floating in the broth, and when I protested, they told me it was a matter of taste. The tuna tartare was flavorless, like all the other dishes. On a positive note, the kindness of the two waiters.
Mai più! Peggiorata la cucina il servizio terribile, accoglienza nulla, attenzione al cliente inesistente. Mi dispiace tanto perché il proprietario abbiamo imparato ad apprezzarlo negli anni per l…
