As soon as we entered, we were promptly greeted and seated. Our waitress, Amanda, was at the table quickly to get our beverage order. I ordered the 6oz sirloin (medium well), my wife ordered the grilled chicken on the barbie, as did our guest. Everything came out in a very timely manner, and food was hot. My wife and our guest enjoyed their food immensely. My steak was cooked properly, just didn't personally care for the flavor. Amanda had our drinks filled quickly throughout the meal. Would definitely visit again.
Absolutely great dinner. Service was excellent too.
Excellent food temperature and service was excellent!
I went to Outback this evening with my boys. My husband is out of town & I didn’t want to cook. We were greeted by two kind young men and seated promptly. We received an excellent service from our waitress and were checked in by two other waitresses and the manager during our meal. All of our food was excellent & I can’t say enough about the service. Very impressed!!
Outback in Abilene, Texas, was absolutely amazing. We were traveling, and wanted to eat in the restaurant, but didn't want to stay too long. The staff took our order over the phone about 30 minutes before our arrival, and within 5 minutes of our arrival, we were eating our fabulous meals. The staff couldn't have served us any better. Absolutely awesome staff and food.
My husband and I went to this location with our son today and our server was Tanner D. Tanner did an amazing job taking care of everything we needed and made sure that our drinks were always full. The steaks were cooked perfectly as well. We will definitely ask for Tanner D the next time we go there.
Great atmosphere, even better food. Everything I ate was tasty. My go to is the Kookaburra wings and pumpernickel bread.
We came here the night of our wedding ... All dressed up (well still dressed up-ish after cleaning up the reception). They were so sweet. Instead of looking at us crazy they were all so kind and even gave us a dessert to celebrate. The food was soooo good that night too. Perfect wrap up to a perfect day! Thank y'all!
Had a great time here tonight. Met some family and made memories and shared laughs. Our waitress, Jaiden (not sure if that’s how you spell it) was awesome, engaging, funny, and polite! Rare combo! Food was great, drinks were great! Cruise through here if you have a chance! And I’m gonna sound like a spam bot saying this but ask for Jaiden if she’s around!
i picked up online for a delivery service. the young lady (wish I recalled her name) was so professional. she was training a new employee and was super busy. she took the time to explain the kitchen was a little behind and that the order was going to take a little longer then normal. gave me the option of waiting in my car and she would give me updates and bring it out when complete. True to her word she did. I do deliveries a lot as a side gig. she is one of the best I've run across in Abilene. nice job!
Stopped by last night and everything was amazing here. The staff were sweet and welcoming, the food was delicious and the deals you can’t beat that. Would definitely recommend this location!
04/23/2024 - Came here today to have a business lunch with a good friend. We both ordered the center cut sirloin - his, medium-well, and mine medium. Both came out cooked to perfection. I can honestly say that my steak was one of the best, most tender steaks I have had in decades. Add to that the loaded baked potato and house salad (for both of us) and cokes for drinks, and the price was quite acceptable. I would be remiss to not mention Alise, our waitress. She was prompt, polite, professional, and personable - in short, everything we could hope for. She did a wonderful job of serving us today. The restaurant itself was quite clean, and the ambiance excellent - the background music was just high enough to be enjoyable without overpowering our ability to speak to one another. I truly enjoyed my visit to Outback Steakhouse, and I look forward to eating there again soon. VERDICT: OUTSTANDING! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
It has been an extremely long time since we had Outback. We decided to place an order for curbside pick up. We experienced an issue, made a complaint online, and the manager called us immediately and resolved it within seconds. Amy has incredible customer service and other restaurants should aspire to operate with their customers as she does.
Stopped in for dessert and drinks after an event we had. We always enjoy them! Had the chocolate thunder and the tim tam cake, both were excellent. Our waiter was great and our food and drinks came out quickly. We also had our drinks refilled without even to ask for them, which is always nice.
My husband and I went out for a date night, Kate was our server. She was absolutely amazing, great personality. On top of her being extremely busy she made sure to check on not only us but others as well , numerous times. What a pleasant experience . She was completely on top of everything. Thank you for an enjoyable evening Kate!
My experience at Outback Steakhouse was fantastic! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great dining experience!
We each had the 3 course meal currently being offered. Salads were good. We each had the smaller steaks. Mine had to be returned because it was less done than medium well. But, taste was ok. The cheesecake with raspberry sauce was very good.
If you're craving bold flavors, hearty portions, and a dining experience that hits like a southern thunderstorm—Outback Steakhouse delivers every time. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and the unmistakable aroma of sizzling steaks and seasoned perfection. The Steak Game Is StrongOutback doesn’t just serve steak—they honor it. Whether you're going for the ribeye, filet, or porterhouse, each cut is cooked to order and served with sides that actually hold their own. Bloomin’ Onion: The Legend Lives OnThis isn’t just an appetizer—it’s a rite of passage. Crispy, golden, and paired with that zesty dipping sauce, the Bloomin’ Onion is the kind of starter that demands its own spotlight. It’s the perfect kickoff to a meal that never lets up. Outback Steakhouse isn’t just a meal—it’s a full-on flavor expedition. Perfect for family dinners, date nights, or just treating yourself after a long day. If you walk out hungry, you did it wrong.
Haven't been here in awhile I loved the food to were I ate too fast 😅 but great staff they have the menu to where its a scan due to covid but its a great environment, the steak was a tiny bit too salty for me I got a medium rare steak so could have been that also or maybe my taste is getting sensitive 😂
Great Steak. Mac and cheese was fire. Surprisingly good Caesar salad as well. Service was pretty good.
The manager is impeccable. I glanced over at a window when the sun started to get in my eye - she saw this and immediately lowered the blinds before I could ask. LOVED that!! Glasses are always full and the communication was perfect. The restaurant felt very clean and put together. I have convinced my husband to come here twice. Unfortunately, they have overcooked his steaks both times, but management has always made things right with him, and that means a lot to us. I just want to say something so you're aware. Other than that, everything has been great. We'll be back!
Andre' was our waiter and he was awesome! Exceptional! And I waited tables myself for yrs thru HS and college. He made you feel like he was glad we were there. He needs a promotion and to be a trainer. Hats off to the cook amd bartender too! Everything was great!
We always have a good time at our Outback in Abilene. The food is great and the servers are always nice. The price is a good value for what you get too. This is one of our go to date night spots.
My first visit at an Outback Steakhouse and my very first time at this location in Abilene, TX. First off, great food, amazing service, and awesome quality. I was so surprised to see the menu offered a 3-course meal deal option. After seeing the promo on my table top, I jus had to order the $16.99 3-Course Meal deal and see what it was all about. I'm happy to say it was delicious and a pleasant surprise on such an incredible value. When ordering note it comes with a choice of soup or salad, a limited list of entrees to choose from along w/ one classic Outback side, and a slice of cheesecake topped w/ raspberry or chocolate sauce. I, of course, ordered the loaded potato soup as my starter. For my entree, I chose the bloomin' fried chicken w/ a $3 upcharge and added an extra side w/ another separate upcharge and the cheesecake w/ raspberry sauce. Definitely recommend stopping by to try this incredible deal. I only hope this deal becomes part of the regular menu and isn't jus a limited time offer.
I did an online order. And everything was perfect from the state to the ribs to everything they did everything the way it was written down. No complaints here and they had it ready, right when I got there, so I was happy just basically barely get out of my car walk in payford and walk right out. I spent no more than 3 minutes inside the store. And it was a real positive experience because I made sure I had everything I needed.
I've eaten at the Outbacks in California and never ever had a good meal. Tonight's dinner was perfection! Seriously! The filet was so tender and well seasoned. You couldn't cook the broccoli any better. Everything was on point including the wait staff! We'll be back!
The gentleman that brought our order out curbside was so nice, the food was nicely prepared and we weren't missing anything
Outback Steakhouse in Abilene is one of those places you go to when you want a solid, comforting steak without any fuss, and the ribeye is easily one of the best reasons to stop by. From the moment it hits the table, you can smell that grilled, beefy aroma that makes you want to cut right in. The ribeye is nicely marbled, which is exactly what you want from this cut. When ordered medium-rare, it comes out juicy and flavorful, with a good balance of tenderness and bite. The seasoning is simple but effective, letting the natural flavor of the steak stand out rather than overpowering it. Each bite has that rich, buttery taste that ribeye fans look for, especially around the edges where the grill adds a slight char. One thing that stands out at the Abilene location is consistency when the steak is cooked to the right temperature. When the kitchen gets it right, the ribeye is satisfying from the first bite to the last. It pairs well with Outback’s classic sides — whether it’s a baked potato, mashed potatoes, or steamed veggies — and of course, starting the meal with their warm bread and butter never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a good spot for family dinners, casual dates, or even a solo meal when you’re just craving a good steak. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, and they’re usually willing to fix things if something isn’t cooked exactly how you asked. Overall, the ribeye at Outback Steakhouse in Abilene delivers a hearty, flavorful steak that hits the spot. It may not be a high-end steakhouse experience, but for the price and comfort, it’s a dependable choice when you’re in the mood for a juicy ribeye.
What a fantastic place to go! Thanksgiving eve and everyone was SO friendly! The hostess and server showed knowledge and compassion when I told them I had Celiac disease- I am not from here but every time I come back to visit my family - we will be visiting again! Food was FANTASTIC! THANK YOU!!
Date night tonight took us to the Outback Steakhouse tonight. I'm not usually a big fan of steak, unless my spouse grilled it, but the steak here was excellent, tender, very flavorful, grilled to perfection, moist. The side salad has nice fresh thin English cucumber slices, purple onions, cherry tomatoes, fresh grated cheese and lovely croutons. The house made ranch dressing needed a little more pepper, but overall it was beautiful and delicious. The generous helping of fresh steamed broccoli was also done perfectly. They brought us a lovely mini loaf of dark honey wheat bread with whipped butter and delicious fresh brewed tea. We were very happy with the meal, the service and the atmosphere m. It was spacious and quieter than most other Steakhouses we've visited. It was nice to be able to enjoy our own conversation. To top it all off, dessert was a big slice of New York cheesecake with a decadent raspberry sauce! I wish I'd taken photos of everything for you but I did ask last take one of dessert. I can't vouch for Outback in other locations, but in Abilene Texas, it was one of our best experiences in a long while.
My favorite steak place is out back hands down. I feel like they have way better selection and way better product. Even though you don't get to pick your steak. I feel like you get a way better experience Plus there are more options to choose from other than just steak and the drink selection is divine 10 out of 10 recommend

It's pretty much a vaguely more "fancy" version of Chili's from the decor, to the attached service utilizing a take-top check out, to the unattractive meals that looks absolutely nothing like their pics on the menu. Whoever was cooking our visit did not properly gauge either of our steak temperatures and both came out well done, with a drab ugly grey "chimichurri" sauce on the side. Ugly, over done, and not yummy.
Outback Steakhouse! I haven’t been here in years but when uncle BooBoo wanted a diverse out of Texas experience I knew exactly where to take him, the outback! Boom!! Welcome to Australia uncle! The night started out interesting when we got sat at a booth behind a couple that wouldn’t stop talking about their “private life” in a not so private voice. We decided to get a little distracted by having a drink but wanted to stick with the Australian theme. We ordered some Fosters beer, two sips in uncle BooBoo was furious, insisting that the beer tasted like beer nothing Australian about it, that was the start of it…… one thing led to another, made a very long embarrassing night. Uncle BooBoo went on his own quest to integrate every worker about the last time they were in the outback, he was so mad when these what appeared to be 19 year olds had not been to Australia. He was appalled and not shy to show it. Eventually I talked him down but in his frustration he also let the couple behind us know how he felt about their conversation. I think they didn’t even pay as they ran out the door! All in all outback was good, hot delicious food, service was decent, but explain to your uncle it’s an American franchise with an Australian theme (it’s not the real outback, don’t expect kangaroos, lol!).
Overall, Outback has improved greatly in all aspects. Customer service, food quality, and timelieness has drastically risen from the last few years. Along with a great and large sitting bar top, the atmosphere is still great.

PAINFULLY SLOW! Although the food was good and the service was good. Walked in at 615 and didn't get our food until close to 730. Made us late to our movie which started at 745. Great food and service, but do not come here if on a time crunch.
I had to go in and just grab my curbside the first time. Second time I waited with everyone else for 15-20 minutes before anyone ever came out. But once she came out to the truck it only 3 minutes to get my food. It was pretty good too
I'm a sucker for outback. But my recent experience here was sub-par. Drinks were good, bartender was friendly, but the fillet seemed suspiciously not like a fillet and more like the heel of a rib-eye and had a tendon going straight through it. What a shame.
The steak was only a good, but not amazing.
I’m rewriting another review… because there’s been so much wrong at this location.. really need new management I will not come back until things are dealt with and fixed idk who the manager is that runs this place but they aren’t doing a very good job idk why people still eat there…
I was extremely disappointed in the food. In years past, I could go to an Outback Steakhouse anywhere and know the food would be good. Guess it's not that way anymore. I ordered Prime Rib, medium rare, and what I received looked more like a cheap steak and tasted as such. The Caesar Salad wasn't much better either. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Let's start with our trio cane out ice cold. You new signature app and you server cold greasy food. Sane with the Chili. Cane out cold. Ridiculous maybr we should stir the food before we server it up in a bowol. Js. And then when i went to use the pepper grinder it's truly disgusting. I went to turn the lid and my hand is full gross oil or gravy or i just not sure!! Did the management even come over to apologize NOPE!! DO BETTER OUTBACK!!
I haven’t been to an Outback in a few years— based on this visit, I probably won’t return to another one. The food was “okay” and the service was “okay”. The filet mignon with the lobster tail was disappointing. That filet mignon did not look like filet. It was barely half an inch thick and…..👎🏼. It took 35+ minutes for our food to arrive. A salad, the fillet and lobster, and two orders of chicken strips. I had three young boys with me, and that was way way too long for them to be sitting and waiting. I didn’t realize until our food arrived that my son had been playing games on the little table top device, and I had already been charged for him playing games.
Location is small but clean. Service was great got seated right away . I had the filet which is what I always order at outbacks and for the first time ever I was very disappointed. Asked for medium I…

Great food, excellent service! Too pricey. One filet, one baked potato, one salad and two teas. Over 60.00.

Their food is okay. Don't get me wrong, but I've gotten steaks from there. Two times the last two times i've asked for well done, and i've gotten medium well or just medium and I can't stand it any pink
NOT worth the money we spent! I rarely complain because I realize all businesses have moments they'd prefer to forget, but this experience is an exception. I was so, so disappointed with what we got at Outback that I'll likely never go back. We would have been better hitting a local McDonald's...and we would have left full! My husband ordered a 12oz ribeye and I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs - we intended to split it and take home the remainder for the next day's lunch...because a "full rack" is A LOT of food. When the ribs arrived both of us stared. *See the attached picture. My fork was longer than my supposed full rack! My broccoli took up more real estate than my ribs. So, I asked the waitress if it there was a mistake. She reviewed the order. "Yes, that's a full rack"! We got 6 very small ribs for $20.00! The ribeye was ok, not great, and again pretty small for 12 oz. We routinely order a 16oz ribeye at another local restraunt and it's twice as big. Wishing now, that I had taken a comparison shot for reference. We were not impressed with the flavor OR the $64.00 bill that left us hungry and irritated. So, to cure our rib craving (and to make sure we weren't crazy) we went to Smokey Mo's and ordered a full rack of baby back ribs. They were as long as my arm... and we paid $17.95 for it. Awesome flavor - no sauce needed! If you want real ribs in Texas, go somewhere Texan, maybe. Outback is good for a $64.00 Australian appetizer.
I was there last night for my husband's birthday. The server was very nice and cool! But the food wasn't good. My noodles were not fully cooked. They were hard. The steak tasted like hamburger meat. I couldn't finish my plate and told the server that the food wasn't cooked well. They cancelled the charge for my plate and only charged my husband's. I really appreciated that! She the server even offered free desert after I told her that it was my husband's birthday. THE ONLY PROBLEM AND I AM GOING TO USE CAPITAL LETTERS TO SAY THAT IS THAT, I AM LUCKY THAT I DIDN'T FINISH THE FOOD. THAT FOOD WAS LIKE A POISON TO ME BECAUSE I GOT SO SICK I COULDN'T SLEEP! I HAD DIARRHEA, BLOATING, GAS AND I BURPED ALL NIGHT LONG! I DON'T THINK I CAN GO BACK AT THAT PLACE. THANK YOU FOR NOT CHARGING ME FOR THAT FOOD BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO NOT PAY FOR MY DINNER AND DIDN'T WANT TO GET SICK OVER "FREE" FOOD!! VERY DISAPPOINTED FOR A BIRTHDAY NIGHT THAT I WANTED TO MAKE MEMORIES!!
Showed up for dinner. Normally we love outback but tonight always horrible. Mozzarella sticks were dripping in grease. We understand they can be greasy but it was so bad they looked wet. We couldn’t finish them. Our salad and soup sat in the back well over 30 mins and when finally brought to our table the waitress said it was over looked in the back. So the salad was super soggy and the soup was cold. Mins after finally being given the starter food the actual meal came and it was horrible. My steak was about medium rare when I asked for well done. We all have preferences in steak but if I cut into a steak with red spewing out it ruins my appetite. It grossed me out so bad. She took the steak back and brought the Sam steak back well done. But after being there for a good hr and a half I was just done and ready to leave. I got the Mac n cheese as a side. It wasn’t mentioned that bacon and some powder stuff was added to them now,. Had i known that indefinitely would have requested it not be on there. My husband got the ribs and said they were absolutely disgusting. Honestly they didn’t even look cooked well they just looked gross. We saw our waitress maybe twice (as we were seated and when food was brought to our table) throughout the meal. My son tried to catch her attention the times she did come to the table to get a refill but was ignored I finally had to catch her myself. I get it being “busy” been a server in my past, but instead of rushing off acknowledge the whole table. She did promptly get us to go boxes for the Mac n cheese and steak and the kiddos meals and get us the check though, but waited another 10 mins for our for her time come back. I finally just got off and walked out to load baby up and my husband went to the bar to get cash to break for a tip. Only good thing tonight was the Bloody Mary. Props to the bartender because that was a wonderful Bloody Mary. Won’t give up on Outback as that’s usually a special place we go to at least twice a month, but tonight was absolutely horrible. To manager’s reply- We sent this to that email address right after submitting this review on Friday night. Haven’t heard anything back.
This used to be a great location, service is still good but food quality and wait times has gone downhill. Hour wait for our main dish and our food was way undercooked and cold. The plates looked terrible. Probably won’t be back.
Very disappointed in this entire experience. The only good was the hostess and he was super nice and welcoming and the young food runner was super kind and helpful too. Our waitress was literally on FaceTime on her cell phone while delivering our appetizer plates. It took her forever to take our order and every time she walked by all she was doing was complaining that she’s the only one that does anything around there yet from what I could tell she wasn’t doing anything either. The service was terrible. Food was not good. The potato tasted sour. The butter for the lobster tail was congealed and not melted. There was a man asleep in a booth. Not sure what the situation was there but not a good look. It was absolutely not the experience I would expected an Outback.
We ate there last evening. My wife typically gets the same thing which is French onion soup and the Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad. Last evening, the salad was not worth the money and resembled something a pre teen would present. It was a bunch of lettuce, some salad dressing and a few of the cinnamon pecans thrown in. There were no shredded carrots, red cabbage, green onions or blue cheese crumbles. The French onion soup was not nicely presented in the bowl. I got the coconut shrimp and said it tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave. Very bland with no flavor. We usually are very pleased with the food but last night was a disappointment. The servers were pleasant and there was no wait time which was positive but you need to do better in the kitchen
The waiter was great! But everything else was not. Took a really long time to get our food, when it was not but 5 people in the whole restaurant. Loud obnoxious drunk person at the bar. Bartender was still giving her drinks, and she shouldn't have. My steak was burnt. I asked for medium. Only took a few bites. The fries were good. The salad was good. Disappointed to say the least. Had a group of four, spent over $200 on not so great food, and annoying loud drunk woman at the bar. But..Bless his heart!! Our waiter was so good. I think his name was Jay...He deserves a raise!!
The servers are great, the food was fine for a steakhouse. I am a little confused on why that Amy lady's name is on the door when I saw her do nothing. The servers, busser , host all doing more than the woman with her name on the building. They should have their names on the building instead. Loved everyone else but the "owner" who was on her phone the whole visit, from sit to pay.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Service was terrible, wait time was too long, and unnecessary attitude from some of the workers. Restaurants are supposed to provide a service, not see service as an inconvenience. I understand the group we brought in was big, but there is no reason to be rude when we weren't being rude. If you want to eat out and have a good time, don't come here. Complete waste of time.
Went to Outback hoping for a decent steak and good service. Was extremely disappointed. They weren't busy, but it still took well over 10 minutes before they took my drink order. Didn't see my server for quite a while after that. When I finally got my meal, the steak was not cooked correctly and was over seasoned. The potatoes, meanwhile, were flavorless goo. The table next to me had the same server and they complained to management, but still nothing was improved for either table. I recommend staying away from this restaurant.
We had A 5 top table, all the food was undercooked. I hope Isabell is just starting waitressing, cause she sucks. I'm sorry honey. Maybe you're just having an off day. But we waited an hour for our food after ordering. I asked for a dessert to go after we finished our meal and it came on a plate before our food came. So I had to send it back to be packed up. Also we never once got a refill on our drinks. Not one of us. Very disappointed and not satisfied. I sure hope this dessert is good cause not one of the 5 of us finished our food. It was that bad!!
Absolutely ridiculous. Wait an hour for a burger and screw it up. Then don't fix it. Just watch my wife eat. Absolutely ridiculous!!
Came here for a very important dinner to celebrate a family event. It was one disaster after another and very disappointing. The manager didn't even care to make it right or fix things. It's not even worth it to explain the details (waiting for waters and waiters, food for 2 hours, en-edible food like raw steak and moldy lettuce), but I'm sure they know...Just avoid this Outback and choose The Beehive, Perini Ranch or Texas Roadhouse even, but everything about this experience was horrible.
My experience at this restaurant was terrible. The food was completely bland and tasteless. The staff was nowhere to be found, like ghosts, making it impossible to get any help. To top it off, the servers' helpers were just hanging out in a room chatting instead of doing their jobs. This place seriously needs to get its act together.
I ordered a steak at Outback Steakhouse, but it had a bad smell and taste, so I couldn’t eat it. Very disappointed with the quality.
We had a horrible experience recently. Our waitress Isabelle took our order and didn’t come back. Our appetizer came after the main course. We had to ask for it cause she never brought it. I had to go and track down someone to get us refills and it took 2 tries cause the hosts were too busy talking instead of getting us help for a refill. I don’t plan on going back, very bad service. Food was ok but I am about getting pampered and eating out after a full work week. I work for my money and so should she. Isabella it seems is getting several bad reviews. Maybe management needs to do something about her.
Generally like Outback, but this particular location on this visit wasn't up to par. The baby rack ribs and the mashed potatoes boyh csme cold. We also ordered a wedge salad with grilled chicken. The salad was delivered first, then the grilled chicken on a plate all by itself later with the entries. The kids grill cheese was on a bun and the orange was only half full they said because they were out.
Worst service. This is not even a normal level. Wait for food longer than an hour without notice. Found out later they didn’t even give us the complimentary bread, while we’re waiting. Manager just tried to argue, when I explained the situation. Server and manager were showing attitude, our checks were all messed up ending we need to ask our money back. Even $20. For the card payment, we asked the refund for the amount of being charged wrong, but they didn’t give us a receipt. Even didn’t understand why they should’ve given us one. From the beginning to the end it was unbelievably frustrating. The best they could do for us was asking if we want to get bread then.
Ordered a steak medium rare, and a ribeye medium. The meat was undercooked for both, and the quality of meat was definitely not on par with the USDA quality they claim to be. Definitely sketchy there, given they charge more than Texas Roadhouse for worse quality meat. I will NEVER go back, and I will always spread how disgusting the meat is by word of mouth. This is the third time this has happened. Once may be an accident. Three times is a noticeable pattern and cause for major concern.
Was here last night with a group of peers, and we were all blown away by how horrible the service was. It's completely understandable that with a full table, there’s going to be some lag in service, but this experience was probably one of, if not the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, and several peers shared the same sentiment. We were largely ignored by waitstaff, who were just chatting with each other, and when we did ask for anything, we were treated like an inconvenience. People who ordered drinks didn’t get refills, and when some asked for bread, they were told it would come out, but it never did. We waited over an hour and 30 minutes for our food, and even then, orders were missing items that never made it to the table. These missing items still appeared on our checks at the end, requiring disputes to fix. What made it even worse was that we were the only tables being served, as the restaurant was largely empty, yet somehow, the service was still incredibly negligent, slow, and rude. If you asked the staff for anything, it took them at least an extra 20 minutes to follow through- that is IF they did at all. By the time the bills finally came, they were incorrect across the board. People weren’t getting the correct change back, some were charged twice, and others were billed for the wrong order. At that point, we were all completely over it and just wanted to leave but unfortunately had to wait to get bills corrected (another 30 minutes). By the time we left we were all exhausted. I’ve never been to an Outback before, and I’m glad I haven’t. I wouldn’t recommend this place and specifically this location to anyone - save yourself the trouble, headache, and incompetence.
👌🏻 Quite impressive, but not in a good way. I’ve been a frequent customer at Outback Steakhouse for over 25 years. You basically know what to expect when you dine here. The bar was set pretty low here.
I used to really enjoy watching games and such here. Today, I went to watch a game… and I will not be going back. The bar area smelled absolutely horrid. HORRID. It smelled as if someone had dumped a construction area portable potty down the drains and it got clogged up. You can smell the disgusting aroma 10-20 feet away from the bar. This needs to be fixed, and someone needs to go inspect this… dump. The poor employees (whom are always great) are stuck having to work in this environment. Someone needs to fix this. Truly unbelievable. If you’re thinking of going to Outback or you’re a frequent visitor, stop by the bar before you eat. The sheisse particulate is certainly wafting throughout the entire restaurant… and on your food. Enjoy your meal.
My ribeye had no flavor. My daughter's was undercooked, sent back, then was overcooked. Manager needs manager training...
Ordered the coconut shrimp and fried shrimp to go. Online order around 2:50pm. Outback stated it would be ready for pickup at 3:21pm. I did not get my order after asking two times. I then asked for the manager. After waiting close to an hour, the manager brought it out. The shrimp was burnt and over cooked. I won’t be going back.
I just ordered from here an hour ago and i ordered a center cut sirloin. This is my 1st time ever even trying outback.Anyway, I asked for a LOADED baked potato with ONLY chz, butter & bacon....theres nothing in this potato...the steak didn't even look 6 oz & the mac & chz is dry and all you taste is pepper, it doesn't even taste like cheese. Then on top of that ,I got no silverware....I wouldn't ever eat from here again...trifling.The ONLY thing good was the BREAD
This is the first time I have ever left a bad review anywhere. It started out with the soup. I ordered the potato soup as a side, and it came out ice cold. They brought another, and it was luke warm. When they brought it out, they informed my wife and daughter they ran out of mashed potatoes. It was only 1:00 in the afternoon. Then , my steak came out and it was burnt. I could not believe they brought it out the way it looked. My son’s steak was almost rare and the sweet potato was supposed to be loaded, but came with nothing on it. I have never been so unsatisfied with a restaurant until now.
I came for a pickup order, and when I came in a man with long hair named Mario came to talk to me to let me know the orders are backed up. My husband was behind me but out of sight I guess. As he was walking away he started to flirt with me… as a customer it was just very uncomfortable. It made my husband very uncomfortable as well. Will not be returning to this location because of this experience. Train your employees not to flirt with married women.
Well we went in for a steak dinner and was burnt people across from us had same issues and I watched 3 groups of families leave due to wait at the table. And what happened to this place.
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was awful the waitress wasn’t very friendly and the wait times for food were very long even tho it wasn’t very busy . We got our steaks medium and got them rare with no flavor.
This is rare of me to say something, but we chose to try and have a nice meal with family and chose outback. We show up at roughly 740pm, slow night for them with probably 6-8 tables running nothing too crazy. We waited about 10 minutes for drinks, 25 minutes for an overcooked blooming onion. We placed our order and were told 3 times our food was coming out soon with 10-15 minutes in between each time. Over an hour goes by and we had to leave, never got food and the waiter barely check on us or remembered what we asked for, she was more worried about a couple other tables than the rest. We walked along with another gentleman that couldn’t wait any longer either. All around very disappointing and unprofessional all the way to the manager. Will not return
So my wife and I came out for my birthday dinner. Been since 2014 since I’ve came to Outback. We ordered 40 minutes ago and now they are saying it will take another 10 minutes. “It got caught behind a large group.” But other tables have received their food. Never again.
Our group of 5 called ahead to make sure we could be seated. Was told it would be 30 mins. Np. So we headed there. Arrived at 720 was told we would be seated momentarily. We were finally seated at 750. Sat at table for a good 10 mins before server came over and took our drink order. Received our drinks and server took our order. Order 2 appetizers which came out pretty quickly.. waited another 40 mins before our food came out and it was barely warm. One of the party members steak was supposed to be medium and it was well done completely thru. That was taken off our ticket. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but it dissipated pretty quickly after we sat down. When we left there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant. We only got 1 refill on drinks and I was left out of that. Server gave one member the wrong drink when he refilled the drinks. The last time I came with a much bigger group our server was more attentive. But this gentleman must have been new. He was attentive to other tables but not us. My bill was $155 and the suggested tip was $35. I have no problem leaving a good tip if the service is good. But this time it was certainly lacking. I definitely won't be back especially in the evening time.
We went for dinner and were seated, but after waiting over 10 minutes, no waitress ever came to our table. During that time, we watched our server go to another table that was seated after us. We were there with our 5 and 2 year old, who were understandably getting impatient, so we ended up having to leave without being helped. Very disappointing experience, especially with young kids.
Went and sat in the bar area. Was a while before we were greeted where a server from another section asked had we been helped. Our server who was also the bartender seemed pretty clueless. Ordered steak salad and prime rib. Steak salad was great no complaints. The prime rib had a really sharp done sliver in it that when I bit down went right into my back jaw. Very painful. Manager came over and she looked liked I interrupted her lunch and said “I heard you got a bone in your prime rib.” I said yes it went right into my jaw. Her response “sorry about that. Let me know if you need anything else.” And walked off. No wonder this place is always empty. I have worked for Outback during college and this place is far from that. Will not return
Waited 20 mins before anyone brought a menu. And it was not busy. Steak was tough and burned. Couldn't chew it. Shrimp was cold. Baked potatoe cold. Will not eat here again.
Not sure what happened to Outback or when the quality of food went down hill, but it happened. Been here twice and have ordered good steaks only to be left disappointed with how terrible the quality of steak has become. Management speaks to guests like they are idiots. Host sat me at a dirty table that staff was using as their hangout area. My server was great and tried to deal with this bad situation that the host had presented me with.
We arrived at opening 11 am . 2 waiters 1 waiting on someone else she left to get 2nd waiter in bar to help us . Us and other customer only ones there . We ordered our drinks and went to restroom to wash hands ,the restrooms were filthy for just being open unexceptable. Our waiter seemed more interested in his conversation with his barkeep buddy than service to us. Meal was served quickly but not what i was expecting in taste. We were all paying separately but waiter didn't ask to separate we called him for him to let him know about bill, he seemed to want to promptly fix the bill but as he walked off we saw him roll his eyes . Yes we saw you young boy ! If you expect tips learn customer service we were very kind and respectful to you. Sorry we interrupted your conversation with your friend and stopped you from doing your job. Do better please .
Just had literally the worst Outback experience. I ordered the prime rib sandwich thinking about the size of it in the past. I even added on a blue cheese pecan chopped salad. The sandwich was a third of the size it normally was. I think my 5 year old would still be hungry after eating it. I don't even know where to begin with the salad. No blue cheese, pecans per really anything other than lettuce. It's also the size of a small side salad that I was charged $5.99 as an add on. What a deal! Needless to say you won't see me back at this restaurant during my visits here every again. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves because honestly you don't need to be a food critic to see what's wrong in these photos. I'm posting it what it should have looked like according to current photos on their app and what I got brought to my table. I don't think I'll visit another Outback for a at least a couple years until the experience is long forgotten
