Welcomed by a really happy and friendly server. Didn't have to wait long for our order. The food was hot, tasty and a good size portion. Possibly some of the best food we have had in a Denny's in some time. It wasn't particularly busy when we were there, but the server was attentive to all the customers. A pleasant surprise after reading some of the reviews. We're sorry not to have remembered the lady's name, but thank you Kindly.

Due to becoming disabled recently from cancer treatment complications, I've been forced to rely on deliveries for food. I rarely do reviews, but this meal stood out to me. Before I even took a bite, could tell that whoever prepared and packaged this meal took pride in their work! Denny's has really stepped it up on food packaging compared to other restaurants. They were thoughtful in keeping foods separated by temperature and consistency for the best experience, including a really cool divider in the larger container and smart separation of the cold ice cream and warm pie dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection, was presented beautifully, and tasted wonderful. It looked as if it had come from an expensive restaurant and I really appreciate the extra effort at a time where it's getting harder and harder to find good workers. Major respect. Thank you and keep up the good work :)

This place was wayyyyy better than I expected but the time before wasn't bad. We went there late the last time and they were playing music we had a ball. Singing and eating. The food has been good noth times. Now, this time, I had the Lumber Jack, and it was a big, big breakfast. It had bacon, ham, and sausage. Eggs, pancakes, toast, and hash browns. I changed my pancakes to grain, and they were wonderful. Coffee was good, too. We will definitely be back to this location. And the service was awesome, too.

General Manager was nice and friendly and prompted with Excellent Customer Service. She took my order with a smile and assisted me with the order and suggestions and was very friendly and Dennys is family oriented place. I suggest to eat here it’s worth your money.

So I placed a pick up order and came home with my food and one of my meals was incorrect. I went back to the location kind of upset but when I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile. I enjoy Denny's menu items especially when seeking breakfast foods. I wish there were more Denny's in the Charlotte, NC area. I previously lived in SC and we had Denny's all over the Upstate area as they are headquartered in Spartanburg, SC. They have definitely overcome any previous negative reputation and it is clear, that they have worked hard to do so. Surprisingly, Denny's has EXCELLENT Spaghetti and Meatballs. People think I am joking when I say I love their spaghetti, but I am not joking and it is very tasty. It has more of an American-Traditional comfort-food style spaghetti and meatballs that adults AND kids would like. Denny's also makes an very good turkey and dressing dinner if you do not feel like cooking an entire Thanksgiving dinner at home. Their dinner entrees are a little pricy for Denny's but the serving sizes are quite ample and if you are a little lady like me, you have enough for a few meals.

Our waitress Terry was the bomb. Very attentive to not only my husband and I but to call her tables. Heard her code switch and greeted the next family in Spanish. I also notice the staff working as a team, helping each out. That is definitely something you don't see often these days. I had to tell people. This Denny's is still a great spot for a Sunday morning.

We were on a road trip back home and after a long drive pulled off here after 11pm to get some food. Unfortunately, we’re a family of 5 and they weren’t seating tables larger than 4 at the moment bc they were busy and only had 1 waitress. It was okay though bc she was very kind and professional even throu my bit of annoyance at this revelation. We ended up getting the food to go and it was quickly prepared, ALL CORRECT! which is no easy feat with substitutions and my kids wanting the toppings taken off of everything! And she had put every sauce syrup napkin and ketchup packet we’d need in there! She even brought it out to the car! Overall the service was a 10, the food is typical diner food- if you’re eating it at 2am after the bar it’s a 10, stone cold sober- I’d give it a strong 7. I had the stuffed French toast which was REALLY good! Their cheese sticks are still the best anywhere around 100/10! My husband got the cali turkey club which he said was good too! Sorry I didn’t think to take more photos prior. The restaurant it self was very clean, she wore gloves preparing salads in the front even when she wasn’t touching anything, and it was very charmingly decorated for Halloween!

Not sure why this Denny's is so dead. I stayed at a nearby hotel so I ate here because I knew the menu and didn't want to drive much. Since business is so slow, they have a skeleton crew, and they are out of some ingredients. If more people will eat here it will get better. It was nicely decorated for Memorial Day. Staff was very nice.

My husband and I love taking our 4 kids to Denny's for Kids Eat Free because they're one of the few chains that accept two kids per adult. You certainly can't beat the price! Our waitress was great and the facility was updated and clean. I can't give 5 stars though, because I did watch someone behind the counter handling food without gloves.

We ate here around 2am in the morning and there was all but one customer in the store. We were seated real quick and our order was taken within 5 minutes. We asked the waitress about how hot is the Nashville Chicken tenders and she was nice enough to let us try the sauce before we place an order. We went ahead and ordered the chicken tenders, patty melt, and moons over my hammy. Portion sizes were of good size. If you ask me, I could barely finish 1/2 of the moons over my hammy. My son ate all of his patty melt and my daughter didn’t finish her chicken tenders. I love their ranch dresses with fries. Their ranch dressing is house made and it’s thick and flavorful. Their fries were steak like fries and were warm and they gave a lot. I would definitely recommend this place as the people were nice, fast service, and the food was warm when we received it. Food came within 20 minutes of ordering. Their store grade wasn’t that great though, it was an 89. By the time we left, there were 3 more customers in the store at 3am in the morning.

Usually when I visit, I'm using a voucher for either a discount or something's free. With the past two visits, one order had a $5 discount; the other came with free french toast. I've sat in a booth and at the bar; the bar tends to be a little more clean. The food always comes out hot and fast. While sitting at the bar, the staff tends to engage in conversation more until my order is ready. Denny's isn't at the top of my list of places to patronize due to their issues of the past, but the vouchers keep me returning to support the hard working staff. If you're looking for affordable food with no frills, this may be your spot.

She asked a server to come over saying this lady doesnt get any change. I explained that yes I would need change since I paid with a $100.(needed the change for the tip). The server finished the transaction because she couldn't. Maybe she was flustered from the previous customer or having a bad day? Still a good dining experience.

The food at Dennys can be a hit or miss, depending where you go. Luckily, this location does serve good food, tastes good and the service is adapt to take care of one in a decent time. The kitchen sends the food very well staged, cooked well, and with a decent size. I had a T-Bone Steak with cheesy scramble eggs, and Chocobana Cakes (recommend this one) The waitress, don’t know her name, mid age Indian background, she was lovely and took care of me. The ambient, not loud, and plenty of table space. Tables are clean, and the thing I like too are the prices. My wife and I, $48 for 2 breakfasts. The tip is not included, obviously. Denny’s remains one of my favorite Brunch places to eat at.

This place is typical Denny's under the pandemic. The staff was limited but are working their butts off. I haven't seen the owner there since the pandemic. Maybe they just don't care but their employees do. Hint: Maybe reward them for loyalty at the age of switching jobs. Seeing the owner once in a while, can boost morale and give the customer confidence that you do care about the business you own and run. I would have given it a 2 but your employees that day with only two in the building a cook and the waitress added the extra star. The food and service were great! The atmosphere was good until this group came in and they sat two booths away and were very noisy! They were so loud we couldn't even hear our own conversation! My order totaled $16.45, but my bills came out to be $19.?? for some reason. I was supposed to get 15% off due to my AARP card, but when they took the 15% off, it went to $16.36. I only had water & my food. I tried to call the store and let them know they overcharged me, but they wouldn't answer the phone. It kept sending me to their answering machine that tells you to call back later. I called the toll-free number, and it wouldn't let me leave a message either. Nor would it let me reach the store so I could discuss this issue. The last time I went to this denny's, I tried to use my 15% off, & they said that they couldn't do it because the manager wasn't there with her card to process my discount. The manager finally verbally authorized the discount for me, because she wasn't coming in for several hours yet. I'm not sure I'm going back to this Denny's anymore! It seems like every time I go I seem to have some kind of issue. Which is sad, because the young men who served me did an outstanding job. If I go back, I hope my next experience will be better than this one & my last one.

The food is delicious but the service is not acceptable. It took a while to get our meal even though there was only three tables with customers in the entire restaurant!! I should have realized that there weren't many vehicles in the parking lot. If you are in a rush to be somewhere, I do not recommend this Denny's.

Took 20 minutes to seat us at lunch with nobody else waiting. No hostess at counter server yelled across restaurant whose next how many. Then it took 10 more minutes to get our drink order and order food at same time waitress never came back to check on us or refill our drinks never got a check had to rush to counter while waitress was ringing up someone else so I didn't have to wait another 15 minutes. All in all I think the problem is staffing or management, not the waitress fault when they pull triple duty, management should be on the floor helping hard to run a decent restaurant with two waitress one cook at a lunch hour.

I ordered on the app, my order was supposed to be ready from 8:53 and 9:03. I came inside to pick it up. When Amy ask what my name was and I told her. Their printer didn’t print my order so I had to wait for it to be made. When I finally got the order. It was wrong and had to wait again. When I tried to explain to Amy, that this is wrong she got real loud in Restaurant, when I didn’t even raise my voice. She was very unprofessional and wouldn’t let me talk to the manager, stating she was assistant manager and they did the best they could do, when now it was 9:30am, 27 minutes later and my meal was still not right and she was acting as if it was my fault. She need’s customers service training!!!!

The restaurant was clean. We felt rushed to order as the server came by several times in under five minutes. It was not busy and most tables were empty, so it's not like we were holding up other customers. I was handling my baby, who was hungry as well. It felt like a high chair was a big ask, however they did clean the high chair for him. When the server brought our food, she put a plate with a hot dish right in front of my 8-month old, who started grabbing the food before the plate was even set down. The same with the utensils. Of course we intervened quickly, but he did manage to grab food while we were intervening. He could have hurt himself pretty bad.

So first off not saying people can't take their breaks in the restaurant, it just looks weird drinking McDonald's in a Denny's. Also there was no host to greet people. Second, I had ordered the Salted Caramel Cold brew and there was lemon seeds in it. They didn't take it off the bill when I pointed out the glass wasn't clean. Then I asked for the Steak and Eggs which was really good if there was butter on my toast. They also forgot to give me a knife and fork. Not saying it was the waitress' fault but I kinda need that to eat my food. Cleanliness was bare minimum, not saying the place has to be spotless but didn't appreciate my butt being stuck in a sticky seat. ._. Otherwise staff greeted me politely but I could hear them criticizing me for asking for a knife... yah sorry Denny's but not the best experience.

We went there to dine in with coupons for free breakfast and when we got there it was online ordering and take out only. The staff including the manager had no idea what was going on. There were numerous people that this happened to while we were waiting. Denny's either step up your game or train your employees better. Didn't even get a chance to eat. We waited about 45 minutes for food and still never received it. We ended up paying for our beverages and walking out. The waitress was sweet and had no control over the food so I won't fault her. But I definitely won't be back.

I placed my order 20 minutes before coming. Got here 5 minutes after the pickup time, once I arrived the man said give him another 15 minutes because he hasn’t even started my order but it’s 7-10 families here eating?!? How and why wasn’t my order started but it’s ppl here eating? The same people that make their food, is making mine so what’s the problem? Instead of talking and gossiping yall need to work!

When my cousins and I got here the waitress was rude to us. She cut us off. After she took our orders we wait for a good 20 minutes to even get our drinks. In the middle of waiting for our food the only cook that was there left. We ended up waiting for over an hour for the other cook to get back after walking out. We finally got our food cold, uncooked and not fresh. The fries were stuck together like someone microwave old fries, 2 of the stakes that we wanted medium rare, ended up being barely cooked, the broccoli was cold. The waitress didn't come check on us during anytime of this. While we were waiting for the check the waitress was too busy on her phone, so we went up to the desk to pay, and even then we waited over 15 mins. Overall please go to i-hop or waffle house to save you the trouble.

I honestly don't know where to begin with this review, but I also want to mention that Denny's is one of my favorites so this experience was extremely disappointing. We walked into two waitresses bickering which prolonged us being seated. Once we were seated we learned they were out of half of the menu including most sides like fries. Well we both ordered a burger and onion rings and after waiting 33 minutes the picture below is what was served. The restaurant was not busy. Including us there was 3 tables. After informing the waitress she told us we didn't tell her that we didn't want the burger juicy. We asked for well done but this wasn't juicy this is uncooked fat. This burger has not been bitten into. This is how it was served. I don't live anywhere near a Denny's so I get excited whenever I can go and get my bourbon bacon burger and to say that this experience was disappointing is the understatement of the century.

Tuesday night I went in to dine; I ask was Crystal in and he said no it's just me tonight ; I waited at door approximately 10 minutes; then another customer came in; he proceeded to sit me then went back and got the couple and a dog; he ask me about a drink order I ordered a sweet tea; I receive the tea and no straw; never came back but went to the white folks table 5 times and placed their order; I never got waited on and I just got up and left! Crystal always gives excellent customer service he was completely rude and unprofessional and didn't care! Never going back no more no more. .

It's definitely the worst Dennys I have ever er been to. It was only me and my husband. The host did tell us it would be a wait due to not having but 2 waitresses. Which we were fine with that. But when we finally I seated and order 2 cokes, we order 2 sirloin steaks with scrambled eggs and hash brown. And toast. My food came out super cold, and my husband didn't get his steak till he was almost done with his cold eggs and hash browns. On top of the toast was uneatble. Super hard. So I ate some of my cold steak and was ready to go. After spending almost 50 dollars for food we didn't eat. We would never come back to this location

What I wrote to Denny Customer Service Worst service we had in Denny Restaurant. I felt I was profiled and the waitress could care less about serving my brother and I. Saturday morning waiting for an hour for our food. The order was wrong, food undercooked and the restaurant was empty. The staff did not come over asking if every thing was all right nor did they say anything about the food taking so long. I generally don’t complain but this was 100% Unacceptable in any sense of the term. People at this restaurant should be fired. You need to do an audit and compliance check and bring this restaurant back to where customer service should or close the doors. I will never step foot in a Dennys ever again because of this experience. If your looking to lose customers send them to this Denny because that is where they excel

Order a single cheeseburger told them no lettuce no pickle got pickle and lettuce on the burger. Also ordered the bourbon bacon burger told him everything on the side except for the cheese and the bacon. Well they got a half right but they forgot the bacon. I don’t know if it’s a language barrier or what or if it’s she just doesn’t care about it. They’re in the kitchen because she’s too busy playing on her phone. I thought when you were at work, you’re supposed to leave your phone in your pocket. I guess the times have changed. I guess you’re allowed to play with your phone and cook food. I don’t know, but if she wants to talk to baby daddy, she can do it on her time, not my time or any other customers if she wants to spend time and talk to baby daddy so much then she can go home and let someone else have a job that needs it Again, no bacon on the bourbon burger, which is supposed to be the bourbon, bacon burger as you can tell from the pictures below yes, the one was half eaten by the time we realized no bacon we figured maybe the one side no no bacon at all

Came In the two ladies in the front were polite. However it took 25-30 minutes to get my food when I only ordered a burger and fries. Terrible Terrible. Not only did it take forever the two young ladies in front told myself and another paying customer they couldn’t go to the back and see how long it would take for our food. Never going back

The chicken was under cooked. The rest of the plate looked like slop. Also I ordered the Hershey chocolate pancake balls. Looked and tasted nasty. The blinds and windows both dirty. Not at one table but a few of them. Waiter was inattentive for refills. Would not recommend this dennys to a dog let alone a human.

Just order for $51 thats all i got no attach recipt to safty pakage all the worst take out in charlotte will be the last

The service was extremely slow. It was over 40 minutes after we ordered when we finally got our food. The fish my wife ordered was not fully cooked. I had to go find our server to get silverware and the gravy that my Wife ordered for her mashed potatoes. Our server never came back to our table after he took our order. I asked another server for our check and a box for our leftovers. After waiting more than 30 minutes, we just got up and went to the front counter to pay our bill and asked for a box and a to go water. The woman who took our leftovers to box up put the pieces of undercooked fish (left on the plate with the mashed potatoes that were taking home) in a container with the mashed potatoes. This is by far the worst experience we’ve ever had at a Denny’s Restaurant.

i mean TRULY disappointed. it took 35 minutes for us to get our drinks. when the waitress/server came, she took our entire order at once which caused a huge delay on us eating in general. there were other families who sat there waiting for a while to get their drinks and also one dad sat and watched his son eat because his food didn’t come out on time. the experience is trash. i was very shocked because im HUGE on customer service. hire more people. create senses of urgency for your guests. check in on them and don’t take 15 minutes to bring back something you forgot. please. do better! Not to mention, my 6 year old asked for a hot chocolate and they brought her a coffee in a mug that may have been sitting for a while because it was cold. coffee? my kids had to wait for their sides and their drinks. i’m just appalled. i’ll never bring my family here and do not recommend to anyone who wants a classic quality breakfast or dining experience where we are paying for good service.
