I love this place and if you’re asking why it’s the food and the service. The place just radiates with good vibes. From the amazing meals, to the thoughtful flowers on the plate. We were served by Casandra, who was just a joy. She walked us through the menu and made some recommendations. The conversation was light and fun. If you hear “I’m dead” then you just met her. Check them out for brunch, a sneaky morning breakfast, or romantic date. Thanks guys, I’ll be back for sure.
Hemingway Brunch was a very pleasant surprise! Our group of 7 had brunch here on a Saturday morning and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. The restaurant is super cute on the inside and my group was able to take some great pictures while waiting. Our server (sorry, can’t remember his name) was the best! I started with the Espresso Martini and it was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. The other guests had the Bailey’s Cream (w/coffee) and Cranberry Mimosa and they were delicious also! I had the Meat Lovers Omelet w/breakfast potatoes and pancakes. Everything was so yummy and I loved that they brought out warm syrup with the pancakes. I’m not local to the area but am definitely putting this on my “return” list for whenever I’m back in the area.
✨🌻Fancy brunch place ‼️crazy waiting time between 10:30am to 12:00pm (probably because it was a sunday morning that we went) ✅ cozy cafe with beautiful interiors. 🍳 Service was good, food was excellent!! We ordered the following: - Migas - Bourbon Flambe French Toast - Avocado toast 🥬🍳availability of eggetarian options is good! Some of their egg items though are not available for substitution Verdict: 4/5 | would definitely revisit
Packed house, but the food was good. Every scoop of sour cream or salsa etc will be charged, bummer there. But with our economy its a blessing to still have affordable GOOD food to dine on. Worth the trip and experience. Will be back.
I like this place. Many busy breakfast places have unfriendly servers. Understandably because they are - well busy. But this place is always feel welcoming and I like that. Food here is fresh, my fav is the hash with either corned beef or short rib. Both are delish! The avocado toast is wonderful with the two eggs on top. The lox bagel is fresh and did I mention the people there friendly already? That's worth mentioning again
My fiance and I ate here for breakfast. The food was great! We got some orange juice, the billionaire bacon, pancakes, and French toast. The bacon was 10/10! The orange juice was some of the best I've had. The pancakes big and fluffy. The French toast was good, the only complaint was that they shove a waffle cone with whipped cream right in the center of the toast. I feel like that takes away from the beauty of the dish. I would have just preferred the whipped cream straght on top or in a small dish on the side. Other than that our service was great, and we will definitely be back. I'll just ask for no waffle cone in the future.
Every dish we tried tasted incredibly fresh and full of rich flavor, prepared with amazing care. It truly left us impressed. It made me realize how fortunate people in Texas are to have a spot like this for their weekend brunch. It is rare to find anything this good in the Virginia or DC area. A fantastic experience from start to finish.
My coworker recommended Hemingway to me and I’m so glad they did! It’s small, but has an open, airy feeling and the décor is cute. The menu has tons of options but if you can’t decide, I 1000% recommend the white chocolate raspberry pancakes…SO GOOD! Prices were reasonable and the staff was super sweet. Will definitely be back!
I was in Dallas, Texas for a business trip and decided to try this place on a Sunday morning based on a friend’s recommendation — and I’m so glad I did! First, the restaurant itself is spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. I was impressed the moment I walked in. Then came the second surprise — the staff were genuinely warm and friendly, especially our server, Sienna (yes, just like the Toyota minivan!). She was attentive, kind, and made us feel completely welcome. And the food… absolutely phenomenal. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared — honestly beyond words. It made me think how lucky people in Texas are to have a place like this for their weekend brunch. It’s hard to find anything comparable in the Virginia/DC area. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, especially compared to where I live. Maybe that’s just Texas, but it was such a pleasant surprise. Overall, this was a perfect brunch experience from start to finish — great food, great service, and great value. I’d go back in a heartbeat the next time I’m in Dallas!
Very nice breakfast joint. The decor and overall layout is nice and inviting. The service is great and the food is quite tasty. The only slight negative was the amount of time it took for our meal to arrive. It was a busy morning, but not to the degree that I think warranted the wait time. Perhaps an off day. I’ll definitely be returning.
Loco Moco is so good, it looks a bit sloppy because of all the gravy in the takeout container but don’t let looks deceive you — it was delicious! Burger patty on a fluffy bed of white rice with a savory mushroom gravy and over easy eggs on top. One of my favorite meals and so glad I’ve finally found a brunch place that serves it!
Had an amazing brunch with my wife while visiting from out of town. I had an omelette (which was huge) with their potatoes and biscuit. The potatoes were crispy and very flavorful, the biscuit was soft and deliciously buttery, and the omelette was delicious. Their house hot sauce is great as well. My wife also got an omelette with a side of gluten free pancakes, which were also great! Definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch!
The atmosphere is very clean and nice. They had fresh flowers on the table too! It’s in a strip mall type space which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars, but is very nice and so lovely. The food was extremely good. My husband loved the biscuits and I thought the omelet and potatoes were very tasty and better than I could make at home. The waitress was just the nicest and had the most wonderful smile and was so kind. Really had a great experience. Taking off one star for the coffee, which I wouldn’t recommend. It was a bit ho-hum, but the food itself was excellent.
A beautiful spot with delightful food! The coffee is just okay, but everything we tried was excellent! The Paris and classic Benny were both great and the peach bourbon french toast was excellent. The service was wonderful and the cafe is both clean and bright. The food was displayed like art - it was both visually pleasing and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
Love this place for brunch. Get here early because it packs out. The service is always good and the avocado toast is the best in Coppell. The coffee it hot and they keep it filled. We asked for crispy bacon and they did a great job at making sure it was nice and crispy. Give this place a stop if you’re in the area.
Visited here on 9/13/25 for brunch. Was quite busy inside but able to be sat right away (4 top). Cute decor and atmosphere. Service was good, but you could tell servers were busy The food was really good, I think we also order matcha pancakes? (Not pictured) wow - those were some yummy unique pancakes. Hemingway Brunch definitely worth a try
They have a nice patio with nice umbrellas. Our service was good. The cinnamon rolls pancakes are amazing. We did ours with Nutella and bananas instead of the cream cheese. It is definitely the way to go. My avocado toast was just okay. It was just a bunch of sliced avocado. There was plenty of everything, but it wasn't great. The chicken fried steak had a ton of food, sadly it was too salty. I'd go back for the pancakes. They had a nice sugar crunch with each bite. The food had a lovely presentation. The flowers were a very nice touch.
As a newly diagnosed celiac disease patient, this place was awesome in offering gluten free options (even in pancakes which is rare). We got the pancake platter with 2 regular pancakes ( fruit based and white chocolate raspberry) and 1 gluten free (lemon blueberry). The pancakes were great but the regular ones had a lot of jam which my friends didn’t like much. The veggie omelette was so fresh and juicy that even my toddler enjoyed it. Overall a great place and I would definitely visit again if I’m in town.
