I live in the neighborhood and had wanted to try this place but was worried about the freshness of the raw fish. Decided to just see what I thought and I was very pleased with the variety and the freshness of the fish varieties and that were available which included Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp and all the types available at most Sushi restaurants. I really enjoyed my lunch and the atmosphere was relaxing and very pleasing. Well decorated in modest but tasteful furnishings including wall mounted surfboards, comfortable seating and tables for 1 or several if needed. Very friendly servers and just a great place for a delicious meal and relaxing. If you haven’t been, try it. It was reasonably priced for the quality of food and well worth a visit.
By FAR the best poke place in Dallas. Whether ordered through third-party delivery apps or in store, the quality of the bowls is always consistent, fresh, and delicious. The staff making the bowls is transparent about which toppings are an extra charge and the portions are very generous. If a week goes by where I don't get Poke Bop, I feel a little lost. Just go here!
So fresh! Hidden gem! Love that they offer pineapple - I love combining it with the cilantro. Generous portions and sweet, friendly staff!
Best poke bowl I’ve honestly ever had. Not only are they generous with their portions, but the quality of fish is always perfect. Come here almost every day
The gentleman that helped me today was so kind and informative when I asked about the sauces. He let me try them to make sure I would like it. My bowl was packed with yummy fresh veggies and salmon! Will 100% be back soon!!
Third visit and every one has been enjoyable. Generally there is only one person working in the store so I’d imagine it can take a while to get your food sometimes. He is always kind when I’ve been in
UPDATE: Went back for the poke ~ very yummy! :D and the employee was very kind and helpful FIRST VISIT: Tried my first Taro boba here :) excited to come back and try the poke another day (only complaint: the door alarm is too loud/hurt my ears)
Echoing the sentiment that I am excited to have this in the neighborhood. I was eager to try it out. Luckily it wasn't busy when I went in because the menu is overwhelming on your first visit. But the very friendly man at the counter walked me through it. I added the squid salad to the bowl for an extra $1. The bowl was delicious and so VERY filling. Can't wait to go back. Only thing I wish is that they published their nutrition counts.
I just started working down the street and strolled into here not even knowing what it was. Best food I’ve had in weeks! My bowl was fresh and everything was delicious! Price is fair for fresh seafood and the service was good. Will definitely be back!
Best Poké in Lakewood! I have had a great experience the couple times I've been here and I've really enjoyed it. They accepted a competitor's coupon which we really appreciated and even gave us more of a discount than what the coupon was even for! Amazing tasting food, fresh ingredients, modern interior, and all around good environment. 💯
My girls and I love poke and this was the best tasting place we have visited! We all recommend the taste and price and atmosphere.
Poke bowl was fresh and delicious. They did not skimp on the protein or toppings. After many failed attempts, I’m so happy to have found this place.
My husband and I tried this incredible place last night. We drove quite a ways because there are no Poké restaurants near us. The store is clean. The man working was so friendly, and very patient with us, since we took a little while to decide. Everything was fresh and delicious. On the ride home I decided to try mine. It was so good! The smell was so delectable, my husband couldn't wait to get home, he had to pull over so he too - could enjoy his bowl. We will definitely be returning customers. The green tea rice is now my favorite. I would take pictures but devoured ours. 😛 100% reccomend Poké Bop
First time coming and it was amazing! Great selection to create your own poke bowl. I was recommended the Satoshi Spicy Tuna, Sure was a great choice with a little twist of my own.
Wow! The food is amazing! The ingredients are fresh, the price is right, and I am full after my meal! I couldn't ask for a better place. Kids eat free somedays too with the purchase of a regular bowl. Catch you some poke bop!
How can you go wrong with making your own bowl? Good ingredients, brown rice, many sauces and crunchy toppings to choose from. They have many beverages to choose from, including beer and sake. No hot tea, though. Owner, very nice, as were the other staff.
Absolutely delicious I don't know the name of the bowl but the young lady told me it was their number one seller I added seaweed salad to the already perfect dish but I know that that it's a tuna marinade dish that's again absolutely perfect grabbed a Hawaiian beer and left a little pricey but I expect it again delicious substituted the rice because who needs that carb for quinoa and was loving life! Friendly service BTW
My family eats here all the time, and we love it! Fast, healthy, affordable food. One bowl can even be two meals sometimes. Staff is super friendly and nice. We go here as a fast food replacement because it’s super quick and easy. We always order their set bowls, but you can do a make-your-own option too. They even have a bulgogi beef bowl that the one on Lemon doesn’t, so if you don’t like seafood there’s still something you can get.
This place is my Go-to! Always fresh, it's quiet and perfect if in a time pinch.
Ive ordered the spicy Tuna Bowl and Classic Poke Tuna Bowl. They have boba smoothie Taro drinks. They have alcohol drink on sale 2-6pm 50% off. The staff are very perfessional and friendly. Place small and clean. Everything tasted delicious and i love it!💗🌹👍💯
Stopped by on a whim - this place is GREAT. Quality was excellent, staff were polite and friendly, and the variety of choices were amazing. They have beer, wine, and sake as well. They also do Boba Tea! They have the machine for it and everything. Inside is very clean and the decor is fun. Drop by, have a bowl, enjoy!
Excellent seafood. The tuna is so fresh! I'm from Orlando Florida, so I'm spoiled when it comes to seafood but this place is amazing. 10/10 seaweed salad and yummy spicy tuna. Good venue, nice music, and beautiful chairs and walls.
I don't mind driving out of my way to have my favorite poke bowl--the Hawaiian!! No other poke place can compare. I have at least 10 other poke restaurants in my area. I would also drive to the Lemmon location if this one ever closed. Never crowded and the staff here is polite and professional. I like this location since Lemmon is crowded most of the time from my experience.

Absolutely impressed by the quality of ingredients. By far the freshest veggies that have gone into a poke bowl in the DFW area. I went ahead and ordered a customized bowl and the flavor was good but what made it outstanding was the chunchiness of the vegetables. I don't know where they're getting their I gradients but they are phenomenal. Somewhat sparse restaurant and that's fine, it's a casual place which is what a poke restaurant should be. There were several drinks available for purchase and I chose simple soda water. Everything was delicious and worth the stop. 5/5 fantastic
Poke Bop is always fresh, flavorful, and fast. The ingredients are high quality, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect for a healthy, delicious meal every time. Highly recommend!

My go to for Poke! I visit this location several times a month and the bowls are fresh and consistent every time. The staff is friendly and are accommodating when I ask for specific poke bowl requests. Highly recommend!
I recently visited Poke Bop on Abrams Road, and it was an experience that tantalized my taste buds and left me eager to return. Starting with the miso soup, I was immediately impressed. The broth was rich and comforting, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of umami—a warm prelude to the main event. For my entree, I indulged in the Crazy King Kong bowl, which was nothing short of exceptional. The ingredients were remarkably fresh, a vibrant medley of flavors and textures that came together beautifully. The spice level was spot on—not overwhelming, but with enough heat to excite the palate. Each bite delivered a perfect balance of freshness, zest, and spice, showcasing an attention to detail that deserves recognition. The ambiance of the restaurant further elevated the experience. The space was impeccably clean and inviting, a testament to the establishment’s commitment to quality not just in its food but in its overall presentation. While there’s always room for a touch of improvement, Poke Bop undoubtedly delivers a stellar dining experience for poke enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This is a spot I’d gladly recommend and revisit.
We really like it here and they are super fast in service! We had crazy king Kong, Poke bop classic and miso ramen. The flavors are amazing and everything is super fresh. They put a good amount of sauce unlike some other places that seem to skimp on the sauce. My reason for 4 stars is I never get full here, I don't know why the portion size seem similar to other places. I don't think I get as much salad as other places. The employees are really nice and helpful!
I got the Poke and my mom got the Shoyu Ramen with pork belly. I thought it was good, I really liked it. It was aesthetically pleasing and everything was in detail on the menu so I didn't have to keep asking for details. I was surprised that the ramen didn't have egg, but maybe I had to ask? Very high possibility of going back, I really want to try something new!
Good food at reasonable price. It is my go-to Poke' spot when I am ordering from home. Great selection of poke' bowls and poke'ritto (poke' burrito) or you can build your own.

Stopped in for lunch at Poke Bop on Abrams Road with my wife. We both tried bowls with their vinegar-based sauce, but unfortunately, neither of us cared for it. I suspect the experience might be much better with a different sauce, so I’m still interested in giving it another try. Service was excellent—our server was polite and kind—and the ambiance was casual and clean. Portion sizes were satisfying. Overall, a decent spot, but next time I’ll explore different sauce options!

This place could be really special and has a lot of potential. It’s too bad that it reeks of Fabuloso, which makes me kinda lose my appetite. A place can be clean and disinfected and sparkly without the scent is the product lingering. The other day the green tea rice tasted like nail polish remover. I wish the service was kinder, more friendly and helpful, though, most oftentimes, it’s cold and unfriendly. The sauces and spices are flavorful and delicious. The tuna is fresh and flavorful too. There is a lot to be made better here. I’d go more often if things were better. The ruined green tea might’ve made it my last visit there.
I thought the poke bowl was pretty good considering we’re not that close to the ocean and it’s a “fast food” place in a strip mall. My husband didn’t like the masago that came on his bowl and therefore didn’t eat much of his bowl. This is one of those place we’ll go to when we’re really craving a poke bowl that’s pretty good and not great. There was one person working who was nice and spoke enough English to know what we were asking for.
Surprised by all the 5 star reviews. Stopped in today for lunch, wasn’t greeted by the team members until after standing there for multiple minutes. Built my own bowl, which came to cost $18, more than I would pay in a similar place in the area. The quality of the ingredients was poor I have to say. Fortunately the fish was fresh so no issues there, but rice was hard and didn’t taste fresh at all. Had this issue with some toppings as well. Very mediocre quality for a high price. Didn’t see any of these rolls mentioned in the reviews on their menu, and in general it seems like this place has deteriorated based on the earlier pictures people have left in their reviews, won’t be returning here unfortunately.

I'm just glad there's boba... Trying to get them to add Rose milk tea Boba to their menu. Rose milk Boba as a totally different experience ...like drinking fine wine... the scent of Rose hits your palate and illuminates your brain!! Love it... Now back to Poke... It's a nice little place you can step off highly traffic Lemmon Avenue... you can visit there after dropping off donations at the Genesis shelter and watch the traffic go by as you enjoy a bowl of poke salmon, tuna, cucumber, and Ginger ...the smells fill the shop.

Food is great but when you walk in the buzzer ruptures your ear drums geez man I’d love to come back if they replace it with a bell or something reasonable
I had a -to go- order. My salmon crunch bowl was not all that, very bland! I had better!! The Thai tea was bland in taste and my little girl didn’t even drink her mango Boba tea. Very surprised it had 4.5 star reviews, will never go back.
Food is good (considering what's on offer - simple poke bowls) but the service is not. There have been a couple of instances where I've placed a to-go order via their app and the food wasn't ready - even though I showed up well past the time it was supposed be ready. And both times the employees at the restaurant were completely nonchalant. Update: Appreciate the response. The most recent occurrence was at around 1:15 on Sep 8. I think it would be good if you could ensure that orders placed via the app (or phone or website) are ready. Esp if the person who ordered it shows up 20 minutes *after* the order was supposed to be ready. The impression I got was that the store had received the order but neglected to prepare it.
The employee taking my order did a good job. Unfortunately the food was below average and the location itself was dirty. The employee working in the back came out to the general area and respectfully I thought he was homeless. Not well groomed, dirty etc.
I ordered a poke bowl on grubhub and when I got home and took the first bite, I all most vomit. it is extremely extremy salty, then I stirred to the bottom and found the soy sauce is as much as soup!!! Learn what is poke before run a business!
I've been visiting Poke Bop locations since they opened several years ago, and the Lakewood location has really gone downhill the past several months. My favorite thing to order is the Poke Bop classic with salmon instead of tuna. I typically order through Chownow and pick it up myself. The past few months, the portion sizes (just for online orders!) have decreased considerably. I get a full bowl if I order in person, otherwise the attached picture is a typical portion for my $13 bowl. This has happened about six times in the past three months. Last time, my rice was undercooked and crunchy to boot! I asked them to remake the bowl, and my serving size magically doubled. I want to love this place - the fish is fresh, the flavors are good, the prices are reasonable for poke, the location so convenient for me! But I just can't ignore the drop in portion sizes and apparent lack of care in preparing the order. I hope they fix whatever's going in here and quick.

Quality variance at this place is wild. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes the rice isn’t cooked and the salmon is a bit funky. Sometimes they give you the right amount of sauce, sometimes you get poke soup. I wanted to believe it was just bad luck, but this place really is a dice roll at this point.

DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL SAVE UR MONEY. When coming into the store, it took over 5 minutes to be approached and asked if i was ready to order. When looking at the items on the front line to determine what I wanted in my poke bowl, there was gnats and flies flying around. After ordering my bowl, and was asked for toppings, it seems like they want to charge extra for every little thing. Why is pineapples and mango's extra, like that is a staple to a poke bowl?? Lastly he drenched my bowl with sauce and it was basically a soup. After choosing topping and sauce, the guy making my food decides to sneeze all over my bowl. This place is so unsanitary and unappealing.
I ordered poke bop and I created a build my own bowl and the chicken tasted a little funny but i paid no mind and kept eating. Im a about to put the spoon in my mouth and i look down and there is a hair in my food.

Worst poke bowl I’ve had. It’s labeled “Hawaiian,” which is wild—I’ve been to Hawaii several times and this has nothing to do with poke, let alone Hawaiian food. Flavors were off and the whole thing felt thrown together. At $17 a bowl, there’s no excuse. Overpriced, inauthentic, and forgettable.
***BEWARE*** The chef/waiter that was preparing my food nose was bleeding. He had one glove one and the bare hand was used to wipe his nose. He proceeded to wipe his nose twice. After he through the bloody paper towel in the trash he used the same bare hand to grab the utensil to scoop the rice for my bowl. Never even attempting to wash his hands. Please keep in mind, all this was done within 2 ft from the open food. I never experienced anything like this and I actually thought I was being punked. So after I looked around and saw that I wasn't. I quickly canceled my order and politely told him no thank you and that was the most unsanitary and disgusting think I've witnessed. I definitely think an inspection is needed here.
