Red snapper and party wings were seasoned well. Not salty. This place is well priced and stays busy. Order ahead. You can also order party wings in a box 40-50 wings which is great for a party for about $45. It is the go to in area. Must try.

Kinda hard for parking, but it's a good location. I usually get the same thing every time I go, but I tried the fried rice recently, and it was okay. I ordered the 4 wings and 2 Basa with fried rice. The chicken is great, and the fish is even better. I always have plenty of food left over because the wings and pieces of fish are a really good size. I visit at least once a week, if not, once every two weeks

This is real hood chicken, real soul food. Highly recommend the fried chicken and catfish... unbelievably good. FYI, not a sit down restaurant, but plenty of good parks within distance of the restaurant to eat at and take in the sights of oakland

This place as fas as looks isn't much to look at. It is a take out location only. If you want excellent comfort food you can't beat it. Fish is great, chicken wings good, butterfly prawn tasty. 🍟 spot on, fried rice good enough. Oysters are nice. You eat this too often, you gonna have health issues, but you can't beat it when you craving for this type of food. Norman

Great place if you like seafood and chicken I suggest the number 55 I don't do oysters so instead they substitute the oysters for chicken wings or shrimp I go with the extra shrimp instead of oysters

Oakland used to have a lot of these fried-fish takeout places, owned and operated by and for members of the Black community. This place, now run by a Chinese family, continues to serve good, hot fried fish, coleslaw, French fries - and fried rice!

Today was my family and I first time ordering catfish. It was VERY salty, so salty We had to throw it out. Can you say, high blood pressure. The fish itself was cooked right. It wasn't dry at all. We have decided not to order any fish from there again

Came here today on 12/14/2024 ordered Filet of Sole. Fish was not seasoned it was under fried which mean it was soft. NASTY! They will not see me back there for a long while

The food is good. If you order on the phone or on-line and pay in advance, they will not start the food until you arrive. The time for pickup will repeatedly change. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait, with people who came in to make their order.

I used to really like this place but I just got a 12 piece party wings for me and my child and the chicken they fried was old. I could tell from the first bite it had a bad smell. The chicken should have been thrown out not fried and sold. They really don't care about their customers.
