Opiniones de 620 Jones Alameda
Can’t say enough about the entire experience here! We ordered the crab Benny, shrimp and grits, Brussels sprouts salad and smoked salmon toast ALL of it was crazy good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere- especially the restroom- was amazing!
It’s a great rooftop bar that has good vibe yet never over crowded. No matter what age group you are you can always have a good time in this place. Their menus are super special- HEAVY! Really like how creative they named the cocktails too. Have been coming here since it first opened and shame on me that just realized they also serve brunch too- will check it out next time!
I am an out of towner who comes to San Francisco as often as possible, and this was my first time at the 620. And I can say it was incredible. The architecture of the entire place was absolutely stunning. They have bathrooms that remind me of the scenes in Harry Potter which was absolutely beautiful. I sat at the bar with my Husband and had a few drinks for Valentines day and Thomas was the bartender and he was an absolute doll to talk to. The drinks were so good and he even made my husband and I off the menu drinks which was so sweet. THANK YOU THOMAS!!
Came here for a work holiday party. The staff said they were an easy place to work with. Friendly bartenders. Other staff were great at clearing tables and bringing out rounds of food quickly. Beef bites were amazing. The samosas were also really good. Sazerac was made well. They have a good bourbon selection from redemption to bib and Tucker to baby Jane.
My girlfriend and I tried the 620 Jones because it was just next to our hotel, and we were really happy to find this hidden gem. The service was amazing, such as the food and the tequila shots - it was tequila tuesday 🤣 - Plates were generous and affordable. It’s a place you really have to try if you come to SanFrancisco !!
I had the most delightful breakfast experience at 620 Jones! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor patio is a perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful morning sun while indulging in their delectable offerings. The menu is diverse and caters to all tastes, but I highly recommend the Drag Breakfast. The chicken and waffles are incredibly delicious. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and the presentation was top-notch. The staff was friendly. 620 Jones has truly mastered the art of combining a fun, lively environment with exceptional culinary experiences. Whether you're a local or just visiting San Francisco, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back for more!
Definitely one of the coolest bars in SF. Perfect stop for post work drinks with friends, with hella indoor and outdoor space. I found the outdoor to have an awesome vibe. I went early Friday night (around 6 on a cold night so there was a lot of space), not sure how it is later in the night. Overall they have a super unique and reasonably priced drink menu. Wasn’t there for dinner so only got the wings, which I found to be perfectly cooked and delicious (wish it was spicy but that’s a personal preference). Overall I think this spot can be very fun regardless of the night you’re going for (date, drinks, or dinner). Can’t wait to come back, definitely recommend 🤙🏽
The food and cocktails here are very good. I went very early when they opened, but it did not matter. This is a bar you must go to if you are in San Francisco. It is a cocktail bar that serves very good food. In my book, that's a win-win situation. The pizza was amazing and the chicken wings as well as the fries with the two sauces.
I love the drag brunch on Sundays, and equally enjoy drinks at night here. It’s also the perfect spot for private events. The decor is upscale, atmosphere is fun, service is excellent, food options are tasty, and there’s a full drink menu that includes hot teas for chilly days and hot toddies for cold nights. It’s worth braving the walk through the sketchy neighborhood. We’re almost always able to find street parking within a reasonable distance. If you’re worried about parking in the Tenderloin, the Union Square and Sutter Stockton garages are good options.
The ambiance outside was great. Chicken was 4 stars. Crispy and not all cooked in the middle. Waffles I could take or leave. 3 stars, dry and over fried. Pear drink was great but pricey. Total bill for two people and two drinks per person was $120 including tip.
Love the food and atmosphere here — and drag shows are a bonus on Sundays! Prices are good too. Ask for the breakfast burrito with Beyond instead of bacon, delish!!! Service runs hot (great/fun) and cold (nice but never there), only reason I’m not giving the place 5 stars. I wish I could give 4.5.
The queens, the atmosphere, outdoor seating and the drinks are all wonder but do not come here expecting the food to be good. Sad to say all of our dishes were not only disappointing to say the least but the pork belly was straight up inedible and it is apparently a common issue of theirs. Visit 620 Jones with a full belly but hungry for drinks and entertainment.
Came by in a Saturday right before lunch because we were attending a show nearby in the afternoon. By the time lunch rolled around, it was definitely getting busier. They have a wide variety of cocktails. We ordered the huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito. They tasted fine and were filling. The bar manager and the front door host were both friendly. I love the outdoor space and would go back to try more cocktails anytime I’m in the area.
This was our 2nd time coming here. I only took a pic of the salmon which was absolutely delicious and their slushy gauva happy hour drink. It was so good we each ordered 5 a piece (don't judge us 🥴😂)... We also had the wings appetizer, and for our meal we ordered chicken & waffles, the salmon and one person ordered a burger. Everything was good except the burger the person that ordered it said it was dry. I ordered the salmon because it was so good last time, but also ordered a chicken & waffles because my friends wouldn't let me taste theirs. So the person with the burger helped me eat my 2nd dish. The chicken was crispy on outside and juicy in. The waffles were good but nothing exciting. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce with the potatoes were delightful. This place has been added to our frequent restaurant list.
Grabbed dinner and drinks at 620 Jones with friends recently. The outdoor patio is beautifully designed with great lighting and greenery, honestly one of the nicest outdoor spaces I’ve seen. The Double Pepperoni Pizza was excellent perfectly crispy crust, generous toppings, just really solid. The Crispy Cauliflower was more forgettable, though the hot honey helped. The major issue? The Tenderloin location. I spotted a rat running through the patio during our meal, which pretty much killed the vibe. It’s not the restaurant’s fault, but it’s hard to ignore. The food and ambiance are there, but the neighborhood is a real problem. I’d consider going back for takeout or indoor seating, but probably won’t be returning to that patio.
Visited here on a busy Saturday night. Service was disappointing as in our party of three one of us received food 10 minutes before others, after placing our order 40 minutes previously! This was not cool! We were told it was because of private party, and we did get a discount, but only because we complained about waiting. Think the kitchen was overwhelmed as we’ve never had to wait this long before. Otherwise it’s a cool bar in lovely surroundings. Food was ok, pizza was very tasty. It’s better to sit outside if you can, much nicer atmosphere and pretty with all the fairy lights.
I had a very disappointing experience at 620 Jones during a hosted event and would not recommend it. Groups attending the same event were scheduled to arrive at different times. I don’t know who made that decision, but the manager repeatedly used it as an excuse for why seating couldn’t be adjusted and why service was slow, instead of actually trying to fix the situation. We were seated outside in the cold with no heaters and barely enough space. It was extremely uncomfortable. When we asked to be moved, the manager said it wasn’t possible and offered no alternatives and repeatedly said he couldn’t control the weather. In San Francisco, cold weather during outdoor seating is completely predictable, and failing to plan for that is a management issue. The manager was dismissive and unapologetic when concerns were raised, which made everything worse. Service was also very slow, with long waits before anyone came to our table, clearly showing inadequate staffing for an event of this size. But the manager said they were staffed accordingly… Because of how cold it was, I didn’t even order anything and ended up leaving early. Someone at our table was visibly shivering. Overall, this was a poorly managed experience, and I’d strongly caution anyone considering this place, especially for events.
I went here yesterday with 5 friends for the drag brunch, and while the performers were amazing and absolutely the highlight of the morning, my food and service were an absolute disaster. I ordered the smash burger, and what I was served was essentially raw in parts and inedible. My first bite seemed fine, but the second and third tasted off and when I tore it open, the patty was pink and undercooked in some spots, gray in others. Minutes later, I was so nauseous I had to leave the table to go throw up in the bathroom. While I was gone, my friends spoke to the server and explained what happened. Instead of showing concern, she got defensive and claimed she’d “ask the cook.” When I came back, still visibly sick and shaken, she came right up in my face and asked if I wanted something else from the menu. I said no, and explained that I had literally just thrown up. Her response? A dismissive, “Well, I don’t know what you want, that’s how we cook our burgers here—do you want a club soda or something?” No apology. No accountability. Nothing but attitude. To make matters worse, one of my friends overheard her talking badly about us to other staff, accusing us of just trying to get a free burger. Really?? We had a big tab, tipped the queens generously during the show, and were fully prepared to pay for everything we ordered. The issue wasn’t money—it was that I was served unsafe food and then treated horribly when I got sick. When it came time to pay, the server dragged her feet bringing the bill, then snatched my friend’s card right out of his hand without saying a word. The receipt had a 20% automatic gratuity added (standard for large groups, but in this case totally undeserved), AND they even tacked on a charge for “bread and butter” that we never ordered or received. At that point, we were all so over it that we just paid and left. What should have been a fun Sunday brunch turned into a humiliating and upsetting experience. Between being served raw food, getting physically sick, and then being openly disrespected and gossiped about by the server, this was hands-down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The performers deserve all the love in the world, but the restaurant staff and management should be ashamed of how this was handled. I will never be coming back, and I strongly recommend others think twice before dining here.
