Opiniones de Donuts & Things Alameda
We got Donuts & Things through the Too Good To Go app, and it was such a great surprise! At first, I thought the small paper bag looked a bit disappointing, but when I felt the weight of it - wow! It was packed with six full-sized, different donuts and a bunch of mini donut holes. Everything was super fresh, soft, and sweet - absolutely perfect with coffee. Such a great deal and a lovely treat! 💕🍩
The staff were really nice, they were calling everyone ‘my dear’ and ‘my friend’. The pork belly banh mi was really solid, and I loved the french cruller. It feels like a hidden gem. Looking forward to the next time I’m in town to come back
peaceful place serves delicous donuts and sandwiches. Bahn mi and donut was great. if you're near, it'd be nice to drop by to have some breakfast and coffee.
Small joint, basic menu, good prices. stop by! an older couple sat at the entrance and greeted me, they don’t work there they’re just really nice, looks like they hang out a lot. I just got 1 cake donut w/ chocolate icing - $1.25, it was good, bigger than Bob’s donuts just a few blocks down. But the cake was a bit too sweet. It’s besides the point, they’re more of a cafe. Support small businesses!
This place gives off San Fran vibes and I love it. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I had their french cruller and I think that it has crack in it—I was addicted after the first bite. Please stop by and support this neighborly little donut shop. My new favorite lil shop.
The donuts here are superior to its competitors in the market. It makes me keep wanting to go back. Add that to their stellar customer service, it's really baffles me that their competitors are still in business. Great donuts, even better service.
They have the healthiest, most economical, reasonably priced food on this hill. Let me tell you! This place is the working and retired men's staple up here. Why, you might ask? Well, hard working blue collar and budget minded retired men like and appreciate a good value when they see one! They serve good portions, good food, and have cute waitresses according to my neighbor, Allan. He's sweet. I will also add that these Cambodian ladies are great neighbors too. Because just when I thought that I was the only one in this neighborhood who cared about other people, strangers, (a regular) the locksmith from Warman Security around the block from here, and the waitress from this shop came all the way to my building to check on my eldest tenant. He is apparently been a very good customer for 2 years now (since his falls began and I met him when I was 1 year new to the building). He's also a gentleman and a former Haberdasher who came down here when he was 20 from Sacramento. I got him connected to a Case Manager today, so that he could get Special Accomodation. That way he can get a team of support service workers behind him to help him bathe, get his errands, and chores done. I spent all afternoon with him to make sure he was fed. Because when I found him today, he was weak and malnourished after being in and out of the hospital for the last from falling too much. My only complaint about this place is that I wish they were open 24 hours a day. Then, I could eat there more often, but that would be selfish of ME. I'm sure they have families to go home to. Nothing good happens here after dark. This neighborhood has not bounced back regarding nightlife. It's not worth the riff raff and harrassment, especially if the money and foot traffic isn't there.
no frills, mom and pop shop with delicious banh mis! got the #1 combo and the meat to veg ratio was perfect and the bread was crunchy but soft on the inside. prices are pretty affordable too. definitely want to come back to try the donuts, bfast sandwiches and smoothies!
Visited San Francisco for two days and my goal was to find a good donut and a banh mi. So happy I found this place! Had a jelly donut and a mystery flavour (I think coconut). Some of the best donuts I’ve had. Pork belly and bbq pork banh mi’s were flavourful. Vietnamese iced coffee was amazing. I’d make this a regular spot if I lived there!
Pleasant, friendly, uber-fast service. Their croissants are superior. Try their bacon sausage egg & cheese.
When I came here a little midget jumped at me and started performing a ballet with red velvet. But somehow they sucked the redness out of it and started screaming. The sandwich looked like it was made in chines with giraffes. I ate at least 362 donuts in which only 3 were donuts and then rest were red? Kanye west fed me porcupines with kangaroo pouches rawr!! The street was rainbow colored with mushrooms that were fed in the donuts? I took their hair and made my own donuts my home with peanut butter filling and Air Force ones. I went to the cofeee shop and bought a fat cow. I put in the blender and made ground meat, with GIRAFESS?????? I went back to donut and things with lazarbeams and jumped with screaming midgets. I put the ground meat in peanut butter and Nutella????💁♂️💁♂️ Boozy doozy koozy. I went to steden Currie and threw the red velvet donuts and him!!! He started crying but the donuts definitely made him look happier. When I tried to take a picture of the red velvet donut it looked so yummy yummy in my tummy tummy that I had to feed it to my dog👍👍
Literally one of the best donuts I've had in my life. Had a breakfast sandwich too, which was also amazing. + Fresh squeezed orange juice = 5 stars all around.
Great little spot for a banh mi with great prices and welcoming staff. I like to grab a sandwich and cold drink here before heading to Lafayette park.
Nice friendly local people. Great sandwiches. Yummy donuts.

SREYMECH!!! SREYMECH!!! This is Curtis from N.Y. I came into Donuts & Things January 22, 2026. Was my last day visiting SFO. Im glad I got to try the donuts and food here. At first I think I was mistaken for one of the locals when I walked in but after talking to Sreymech and telling her who I was she realized that I was an honest paying customer looking for a good meal. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and tasty. The donuts were so soft and fresh. I never really post comments but I promised her I would. Good job SREYMECH!!!!
One of my favorite lunch spots in San Francisco. The Cambodian sandwiches are great. A lot like bahn mi but with their own flavor and character. I highly recommend the tofu sandwich (might not be shown anywhere on the menu but they got). Everyone here is so nice and the prices are reasonable for the size and quality of the sandwiches!
I've lived in the neighborhood for the last 10 years and decided to drop in this last week for the first time. I've been there twice now and the food is amazing. The donuts are fresh, soft, and flavorful. The lemongrass banh Mi was delicious. The baquette was crunchy and soft at the same time—what???Great ratios with all of the ingredients. I returned the second time and bought a breakfast croissant. It's a classic breakfast sandwich. Third time coming real soon….

ordered from too good to go and the donuts were yummy. still fresh tasting after a few days
Love this place so much. Food is very tasty and folks that run it was so nice. I make sure to go here every time I visit the city, but sometimes I can only make one trip 😢. Stop in for a breakfast sandwich!!!
The door it's hard to move bc get stuck halfway through 🤔 But donuts and drinks are amazing 👏
$8.60 for a vietnamese iced coffee is ridiculous. the lady told me it was $4.50 before i tapped my card but i was charged almost double. went back again assuming it was a fluke and it happened again. my single origin cappuccino with organic milk at a boujee coffee shop is literally cheaper than that. shady practice and the coffee was mid!!
Very disappointing experience. I’m a New Yorker. All I’m looking for is a good bagel in this city. Went here in the morning to just get a regular bagel and cream cheese. This is not a bagel, it’s a piece of bread shaped like a bagel. Also, there wasn’t enough cream cheese, and it was stale ! Yuck Will not return.
