Going here since high school and often with my ma and pa. Brings back so many fond memories. Great hot dogs that have a very nice snap to it and tastefully marinated. They recently re-opened and had my first Inferno Dog and I was not ready for the burst of flavors especially whatever type chili peppers they used. My mouth was on fire just after the first bite, but it has a very flavorful spice to it that made me not want to stop. The Pup gets my 5 stars for quality dogs and exceptional service. And they're not expensive.

Pretty awesome dogs! Tony knows a lot about hot dogs, peppers, spices and is very patient with the newby questions that we had. Who knew there was so much about hot dogs! Dogs and toppings were fresh and tasty. And, Tony says this shop has been here, in his family for 52 years! It is obvious why!

The Pampered Pup is one of the oldest places on Park Street. What they do is simple: make tasty hot dogs quickly with interesting toppings nice and cheaply. They even have vegetarian dogs if you want them.

This place has been my go-to hot dog place since the day I found it. For the past 6 years I've come into this place whenever I could just to grab myself one of their Inferno Dogs, and I always walk out with a smile on my face and a burning mouth. By far one of the best hot dog places I've ever been to.

The hotdogs are absolutely delicious (try polish) The owner is nice and the service is great. Since we moved, we don’t go back as often but he still remembers our order.

I started going here because my mom used to spend her Alameda High school lunches here as a kid. The dogs are good the prices are reasonable. Service by the owner is a hit/miss experience. .. Try to catch him on a good day ... 😆 But go there for the food ...

Staff is very friendly. Quick service. I had a beef dog mustard only and it was great. Pupzilla dog is also very good.

good hot dogs 🌭 a little pricey but its hard to find a OG spot like this. Chicago dog was super good. The man working is always very kind.

Great hotdogs with great prices! My favorite is the Chicago Dog (one of the best ive ever had) and my husband loves the chilly cheese and inferno dog. Owner is friendly and nice, honestly, it's a pretty neat little place and I recommend it to anyone who wants some good food!

This is not another Hot Dog Shop. The Hot Dogs were awesome! It's probably the best I've ever had. Even the kids loved them. I got the Chili Slaw Dog, and it was so good. Nice day out so we sat outside of the restaurant and enjoyed our food.

I support mom and pop food establishments. You might think oh its just hot dogs but its actually hot dogs done right. All beef hot dog as the base and then the wonderfully soft bun. My favorites are the Inferno Dog w added sport peppers & celery salt and the chili cheese dog no onions please. So yer not stuck with whats on the menu only change it up to experiment a little. Think I will stop by this afternoon.

Spent $20 for 2 dogs, very fast nice service. Bun kinda fell apart for the hot chili dog but still yummy!

Great longtime, family-owned dog spot on Park Street. They’ve used the same Miller sausages that many Bay Area places have including the Coliseum. I usually opt for the Coney style chili dogs and they never let me down. Location is great with a corner spot on Park and that makes parking spotty at peak times but it’s worth it. Support local people.

Lots of big flavors from a small place! If your in the area, this is the place to go for almost anything you could want on a hot dog. No gimmicks, no fluff, just a good hot dog. The owners said we should check to make sure he has the all beef chili in or not. That was a little wierd to hear. I do appreciate his honesty.

Was just okay. Bun was a bit soggy, but the hot dog itself tasted great. Maybe they had just opened for the day and hadn't straightened up yet, but there were boxes piled up in a corner that made the place look not clean.
