Opiniones de Poke Bar Alameda
Great food. Great service. I have been to this location quite a few times and always enjoy it. The price is reasonable for what you get, and everything seems to be fresh and tasty, every time. One recommendation though: Unfortunately, they automatically resort to putting your food in plastic tableware, whether or not you want it that way. That said, if you want a more sustainable way of eating, you have to specify that you want the metal or paper bowl instead of the plastic. In my opinion, they should just ask if you are eating at the restaurant and automatically give you the metal or paper bowls from the start, since it’s the more responsible way to handle our earth’s plastic waste problem. (If the restaurant’s owner is reading this, please consider this, especially since the bay area is so environmentally concerned). Thanks!!!!!
This is my go-to poke bowl place. They are not frugal, one portion of salmon means a big spoonful of fresh yummy salmon. The staff there are friendly too. They do have the pork belly musubi, but only time to time. Highly recommended!!
My first poke bowl experience. I had it on greens with salmon, yellowtail and tuna. The fish was very fresh. The toppings and sauces are so amazing. Try the miso garlic sauce. I appreciate the more sustainable practices used too. I definitely going back!
Love poke koma. Food is always good and generally the portion sizes are generous.
It was my first time trying a poke bowl and I just loved it. It was like uncovering a hidden treasure. As a vegetarian (not vegan 😛) it sometimes becomes difficult to find tasty and flavorful vegetarian options but the veggie bowl I got assembled was just amazing. My fav part was the green noodle like seaweed. The staff was super friendly too, we reached just 3 min before closing and they happily served us.
This was actually my first poke experience and it did not disappoint! I definitely recommend ordering ahead, it's super easy to stroll in and pick up your order. They check your ID when you pick up so you get the right food. Really extensive menu with more than just traditional poke. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
The staff was very helpful with selecting food and mindful of listing ingredients when discussing food sensitivities. Everything was delicious and picturesque. We ate across the street on some benches and had a wonderful time. The space was clean and well lit, if a little small.
This is the best food there is. Great service, great food, low price. All of their sauces, proteins, and grains are bursting with flavour. A tip for first time goers: get as many things as you can and try the spicy tuna. I think Gordon Ramsay has some competition.
This is the my favorite restaurant. If I could rate it 6 stars I would. I don’t usually review places (I think I’ve done it once before) but my love for poke koma outweighs my hatred for writing these reviews. My favorite is the shaved ice and spam musbi also the pork gyoza and it the Taro tea. I don’t like seafood in general but have heard that their poke bowls are excellent.
The place is very clean and neat. The people making the bowls are customer focused. The ingredients are fresh.. I have not had anything look or taste "fishy" in a bad way..I like the octopus scallops and tuna with spicy soy and Wasabi aioli on a bed of brown rice... Topped with scallions...
Walked past this place a hundred times, and finally decided to stop in tonight. Large poke bowl with ahi tuna salmon shrimp and all the veggie toppings except for jalapenos and avocado. Tasted fantastic. Fish tasted fresh and there was absolutely no fishy smell or taste. Had it on a spring mix base and could not have been happier. A large bowl was a perfect size portion after a long work day in a trip to the gym. I will definitely be back to this place.
What a great poke bowl restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly. The portions and bowls are huge. There's no extra charge for avocado. The little onigiri and misubi near the register were warm and delicious. A large was enough to feed two people comfortably.
I'm a pretty regular customer here. The poke is brilliant, they have a ton of options for protein and toppings, the service is always fantastic, and it is very decently priced for the amount of food you can get. $11 for three proteins with all the toppings? Bargain.
Stopped in for a bite to eat for lunch time. I got the regular bowl with Salmon, Spicy Tuna and Crawfish. I love how they have Crawfish. It was delicious. And their Lavender Tea was delicious. Everyone in there was really nice. Great customer service. Best poke ever!!
The food here is really fresh and reasonably priced. Every one gets to customize their own meal, from rice options, proteins, toppings, sauces and garnishes. Staff is friendly and efficient. I will definitely become a regular here. So many combinations to try!
This is a great place to grab lunch. The staff has always been polite, the food is amazing. Whenever I go I get a large bowl, includes 5 different proteins of your choice. I usually get 2 servings of the spicy tuna, 2 servings of crawfish and one serving of shrimp. Choose your toppings as they make your bowl and enjoy. Your taste buds will thank you later.
Best poke I have ever eaten. The regular bowl is filling. There are many delicious choices for the base including brown rice, protein, toppings and sauces. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, modern, airy and light. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. This is a GREAT date night destination.
Generous portions, quality food, friendly service! What more could you ask for? A bit pricier than the average poke bowl but they give plenty of protein and avocado comes at no extra charge!
I'm a Lyft driver and I wanted to show a friend of mine who has never tried poke before a good experience. So, this place was near our location and we decided to check it out. We arent natives of the Bay area (Los Angeles) and this place was just as awesome as the local places we have back in LA. The price was great and the portions were extremely plentiful. Staff is friendly (girl at the front was cute) and the spam musubi they have is a tasty treat. Well recommended place :)
It was a take out , because we all know COVID . But the dishes were good !! Fish is fresh. I’m super picky about poke but this place rose to the occasion . Good fresh ingredients ! The combo was pretty good too juicy ! And I absolutely loved the takoyaki!! And thanks for the chef making them! Friendly service
Food was fantastic and the staff was so helpful! I went on a Saturday evening, ordered a large bowl with 5 proteins. Tasted so fresh and healthy!
I enjoy this restaurant because of the options available for Poke’ bowls and also no additional fees for ingredients such as avocados and crab salad compared to other locations. I tend to buy my favorite spam musubi with egg and bacon along with my Poke’ bowl. The restaurant interior is very spacious.
If you’re craving Chipotle style Sushi Bar Poke Koma is the best spot for that in the Bay Area! And they have Point Rewards! Been coming here forever!

Really fresh fish, which is, I think, the main key to poke. Also lots of choices for toppings, and the portion size is pretty good Not a ton of seating, but if you are there when it's not busy and you're not a big group you might be able to find a space to sit.
Good Poke (especially spicy/ahi tuna), Crab/Shrimp Chips, Avocado is free! Sauces are amazing, (Baja jalapeño) Service is nice and quick, good proportions of meat
Fresh ingredients. Great food and service! Nice portion as well.
My favorite place for poke. The best I've been.
This is one of the most exemplary, magnificent, and exquisite poke restaurants I've ever been to. The onigiri I had there was superb, and I ate the whole thing leaving not ONE grain of rice left. The staff there were so splendid and kind. If you ever need a new poke place to try, I am BEGGING you. Please come here, I guarantee you will not regret it.
I'd never been here despite living in alameda and loving sushi. It's like the Chipotle of fish with many options too add to your bowl. Loaded up the spicy tuna with seaweed, sushi rice, green onions, jalapeños, avocado, etc. Delicious. The girl who hooked up my bowl was super nice and helpful. She thanked me for coming in. What? 😆
My favorite poke spot! They offer gluten free sauce mix and always fresh. I did wish they offered more gluten free options but overall great service and great food

Great place for a poke bowl. Nice Staff good location. Easy to see right off of Park Street. Servicing Alameda and the adjoining areas. Clean facilities. Parking on the street is usually available. Usually a line but it moves quickly. We will definitely be going back. Lots of families inside.
I have to give this place 4.5 stars just because I've had real poke in Hawaii and this does not do justice. This restaurant is like a mix of Chipotle meets seafood. Why I went: I wanted some poke for lunch Parking: Only street parking is available. They do not have its own parking lot. Customer service: They were nice. A lot of young girls work here. Food selection: You pick your size between regular and large. Regular means you choose 3 proteins to be put into your bowl and large means you choose 5 proteins to be put in your bowl. There is a size difference between the bowls too. For me personally, I couldn't even eat the whole regular sized bowl. You get to choose your base, your proteins, and then your toppings. Prices: It's not expensive. $$ You can easily spent $12 and that was for the regular bowl. ($10.50 plus tax) The large bowl is $13.50 and that wasn't including tax. Customer service: It was good. All the girls greeted you and were nice. Tip: There is a wait and usually a line. I was in the line for 20 minutes before I placed my order. Note that this place is super popular! Will I go again: Maybe.
We love going here when we're looking for something a bit lighter and fresh. Every once in a while you'll get a tougher bit of fish, but overall the quality of the food is really good. It's in a good location on Park street, and the place is always clean. Solid poke place!
Generally I have a good meal when I eat here. A long time local became my friend when I moved here and took me to Poke Koma for my first time. The food is great and I like going back. The only critique that I have is sometimes the employees are a little unenthusiastic about you ordering food. I’m not saying it should be smiles and peppy voices, but looking at my friends and I like we are absolutely boring and not really helping us with our order is not the best feeling. Definitely go there if you want good food, though!
Wonderful portions and great staff and service. Prices are getting high though so I go less frequently. Online order fees are a lil much too. Wish I could afford to go more! Love to tip these hardworking kids who never skimp me on salmon!
Great service. Good food at a good value. Grab and go selection of food items near the cash register - packaged onigiri, teriyaki, spam musubi, etc. There are tables, but it's mostly a takeout place, which means the atmosphere is like a cheap Asian restaurant.
Tastes like a Lion King from Sushi House, but a little less flavorful. If there was a little less rice, the ratio would be wonderful. It was enjoyable, but not spectacular.
This place is only a few blocks from my work. The poke are served from regular size to large size. The servings are also a decent amount to fill you up. The price of the food is reasonableand comparableto other poke spots. I'd say for Alameda this is a good place to go for you poke cravings. Seating seems to be enough for the size of the place (poke koma is located right in the heart of park at.) Parking is the only problem when it comes to park st. You have to either get lucky and find a metered parking or look to park near one of their parking lots which aren't that big to begin with. Overall I'd say poke koma is a great place to go for the great tasting sashimithey serve and a great clean facilityto enjoy your food in.

Overpriced Poke that is only ok. For two people getting two bowls and teas it was $42. This is a bit absurd. On the bright side the ingredients we're decent and the selection of items for your bowl was reasonable. I probably will not eat there again simply because there is a ramen shop and three other sushi restaurants within a 5 minute walk of this place.
This place is usually really good. Service was great. But several problems with the food made it not a very enjoyable dining experience. It's always disappointing to see the prices go up, now $16.50 for a regular size poke bowl, at the same time the quality goes down. A lot of the brown rice was hard. I'm sure they don't go through as much, so it sits, even on a busy weekend day, but there has to be a way of not serving chunks of congealed and hardened rice from the side of the rice cooker. Some of the salad was bad. I picked a lot of mushy leaves out, and still got two gross bites. And the shallots were apparently over cooked. Lots of tooth hurting hard bits. I hope they turn it around.
Abundant use of sauces that overpowers the fish. one sauce just for the fish and another for the whole bowl. It was hard for me to enjoy it. I couldve asked for less sauce, now i know better. The salmon I had was very mushy in texture and that freaked me out so i stopped eating. I like this place years ago.
I visited for the first time yesterday and got the regular bowl with salmon and ahi tuna. It was okay - but the fish didn't taste especially fresh and the temperature of the rice kind of threw off the whole thing in my opinion. Probably wouldn't try again.
I am a huge fan of a Poke bowl, so my standards are pretty high. I wish they had more topping options and I didn’t find the ingredients to be very cool or fresh. But the service was fast and the establishment was clean.
Friendly service. The food was fresh and delicious. Very nice portion. However, I think they forgot to put any sauce in my bowl. As such, it was slightly bland, but healthy and enjoyable regardless.

We had always really liked Poke Koma, it'd been our go-to place for fresh poke and good portions. However, in recent months, the quality seems to have declined. Three times over the past few months, we found brown squishy vegetables in the spring mix. I showed it to the staff when I found it the first couple of times we dined in, thinking it was an atypical lapse. Then it happened a third time. And then this evening, I stepped in late evening and got takeout (we live a 7 minute walk away so we eat it very soon after buying). When I leaned in to tell them my order, it smelled like stale fish. I brushed off that thought, thinking what did I expect a place with raw fish to smell like near the end of the day. But I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt now at 3am after waking up to a very upset stomach. I'm sad to give a negative review as I used to love this place, but I don't think we'll be going back there again.
Not sure if it’s because we got bowls at the end of the day, but the food was definitely not fresh. Sent me straight to the bathroom after 45 min or so. Should have known something was up with how moist and moldy the place smelled.
Such a bad experience. Tiny plastic bowls and they mash everything down with a plastic top so when you get it you feel like you're eating out of a trash compactor. So gross. Spicy tuna tasted off. Staff stacked up chairs 40 minutes before closing, put water cooler away 30 minutes before closing so no water. Seems they're more In a hurry to get out there than to make sure people get a good experience. And it's crazy expensive for tiny portions.
