Un lugar para comer delicioso y a buen precio, la atención es muy eficiente y amable, instalaciones limpias, el sazón muy rico, Amplia variedad de platillos, puede existir problemas con el estacionamiento, pagos en efectivo y tarjeta, muy famoso para nosotros los turistas, definitivamente un buen lugar para comer sabroso, lo recomiendo ampliamente, seguro volveré!

Mexican style mariscos, some of the best in Playa. I was there on 3 occasions and each time the food was great, I tried ceviche, coctel de camaron and alambre. The place is very popular amongst locals and gets quite full around lunchtime. The staff is very friendly.

Some of the best seafood we’ve had in PDC and at super affordable prices. Seems like there were mostly locals there which is a good sign. Everything was delicious, from lobster and shrimps to fried fish and crabs.

Best seafood in Playa? Very well could be. That is definitely the best ceviche in all of Mexico if not North America! I had a shrimp and octopus mix. It's so fresh tastes right off the boat. The Guacamole was extremely delicious and the shrimp gooey cheese soup is packed with flavor. The servers are very attentive and friendly. EASILY Five Stars.

This "locals" restaurant was the best so far on this trip! Great seafood options. My deep fried fish was absolutely the best. The picture doesn't show its true size, but, it was longer than my arm!!! 🐟 They also pour, on request, hot butter with garlic which intensifies the experience!!! Crazy delicious!

Probably the best out of the beaten path seafood restaurant. All dishes are freshly made wich creates a bit of a waiting period but it is well worth it. English and Spanish menus are available and the attention is very good. Cash and VISA is accepted for payment It is the to go for real Mexican seafood.

Un lugar recomendado por personas locales, indicado como: si quiero comer mariscos ahi llevo a mi familia. A unas 20 cuadras de la quinta avenida y calle 8, de ida caminando y de vuelta (cierran a las 22) en taxi (Por 50 pesos). Pedimos para dos personas una entrada de ceciche mixto y luego una cazuela de mariscos. No se lo pierdan. De afuera no es llamativo pero se sorprenderan por los sabores. Parrafo aparte la limpieza de los baños. Excelentes

La verdad es que la comida está muy rica, los precios están bien y realmente me gustó mucho el sitio. Mi única queja es el filete de pescado relleno no trae arroz,ni algun tipo de complemento, estaba delicioso y era una porción muy generosa, pero fue raro que no traiga arroz. Si recomiendo el lugar.

Un buen restaurante de mariscos. El chilpachole de muy buen sabor y con buena cantidad de camarones. Se siente el buen sazon. El lugar tiene aire acondicionado. Lugar limpio y con buena atención. Tiene buen sabor, el servicio es atento, tiene aire acondicionado. No es barato pero tampoco exagerado. El lugar es pequeño y sencillo, me gustaría que hubiera más espacio entre mesa y mesa. Pero en general si lo recomiendo. Probamos el chilpachole y camarones empanizados, bastante rico. Y para el postre una Carlota de limón. Te dan totopos y una salsa de habanero y otra salsa roja, las dos bastante picosas.

La comida estuvo increíble. El mero frito llegó crujiente, jugoso y con un sazonado perfecto, además la porción es de buen tamaño. La paella también estaba deliciosa, con el arroz en su punto y muy bien servida. Todo lo que pedí estaba de excelente calidad. Lo único malo: la música demasiado fuerte a tal grado que no se puede escuchar a la persona con la que vengas, se vuelve un poco incómodo. Pero en sabor, de lo mejor en Playa del Carmen.

Was looking for a more local seafood restaurant away from the tourist trap restaurants. Our server was a little pushy and not the friendliest considering we speak Spanish I don’t think it was a “tourist” thing. The seafood was better than 5th avenue restaurants. Overall pricing was similar to everything else. Take it as you see fit. Shrimp cocktail was good, the aguachiles were delicious which I recommend. Didn’t like the garlic shrimp which was in a sweetish sauce and overall bland and boring. Shrimp tacos were also very bland, skip on those two dishes. Cards are accepted.

Good food and good service. We ordered some oysters on the shell which where definitely not fresh. But the seafood paella was good and easily feeds two. Beer was very cold.

Off the touristy path, this Mexican gem is as authentic as it gets. Was a 10 min/ $150 cab ride from our playa del Carmen hotel. Our waiter Rene was pleasant and helpful and though he spoke little English, he ensured we were well informed on all the menu choices. The ambiance, decor and music is local to the culture and no frills. The food was delicious. We ordered the grilled lobster which came with a side of rice, salad and mash potatoes. The seafood soup which came out steaming hot, and included mussels, shrimp, squid, crab etc. We also ordered a side of guacamole and sweet plantains. Everything was well flavored and seemed to be made with a lot of heart. The food however is on the pricier side. We paid $1299 altogether. We appreciated the authenticity and would suggest you give it a try!

Al entregarte la cuenta escriben sobre el cheque que la propina no está incluida, entiendo que no esté incluida pero debe mejorar su servicio para poder recibir la propina que desea. ** El menú es muy extenso - Aceptan tarjetas como método de pago.

I feel bad leave one star and I typically don’t leave bad reviews. But this is so far the worst food I’ve had in Mexico (it’s been two months since I got here) but this two star is essentially one. I saw mixed reviews and wanted to give it a try. I saw some ppl say this place is cheap and some ppl say it’s expensive… I like in New York and I would not say this place is cheap. I wanted to get the grilled lobster first and they brought one out (frozen) to show me and told me it would be $1050.. so I said no, decided to get this dish instead (the waitress recommended it) it was about $20 this meal. It’s just not good..

Este restaurante fue muy bueno en mi opinión qué es la de todo el mundo la calidad la bajaron al 50% y el precio le subieron un 100% más antes había colas para entrar ahora estás solo eso es lo que pasa cuando no hay Unión del dueño con sus trabajadores los trabajadores parece que te atienden de mala gana es lo peor levántese de la mesa y abandoné el lugar a ver sí así aprenden a respetar a los que fuimos sus clientes y los mantuvimos toda la vida para hacer un buen negocio te tardas mucho para destruirlo en 10 meses acabas con él

My oyster experience at this restaurant was unfortunately abysmal. In my initial order, over five oysters had cracked shells and the entire dish was incorrect. Worse still, the oysters were room temperature, a major red flag for freshness. Disappointed, I sent them back and reordered, hoping for a better outcome. Sadly, the second batch arrived with the same issue - multiple broken shells lurking within. I had no choice but to return them again. To my dismay, the server dismissed my concerns, claiming that broken shells are "normal" for their oysters and insisting no one had ever complained before. Not once did he offer an apology, leaving me feeling frustrated and frankly, concerned about the restaurant's food handling practices. On a brighter note, the empanadas were absolutely delicious, showcasing the kitchen's potential. However, the oyster fiasco casts a long shadow over my overall experience. Important Takeaway: While the empanadas are tempting, I strongly advise against ordering the oysters. Broken shells indicate improper handling, which can pose a health risk. Until the restaurant addresses this issue, it's best to steer clear of this potentially hazardous dish.

My experience at the establishment was regrettable and disappointing. Despite high recommendations, I encountered several issues, including being charged a tourist price and receiving subpar service. The lack of transparent pricing for menu items resulted in an unexpected and disproportionate bill of nearly $500 MXN, roughly $30 USD, for a single fried fish dish without additional sides. Comparable meals at Mexican restaurants in the United States cost significantly less. Moreover, the quality of the food did not align with the steep pricing. The fried fish lacked flavor and value, unlike similar dishes available elsewhere. Additionally, the highly touted specialties, such as the stone bowl seafood and soup, failed to impress. Excessive use of cheese detracted from the intended flavors, resulting in an unsatisfactory dining experience. Regrettably, my visit culminated in an unpleasant aftermath, as I experienced gastrointestinal discomfort for two consecutive days post-meal. Considering these factors, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others.
