Amazing quality Food flavor is 10/10 Food portions 10/10 Staff is very friendly. Honestly if you want good tasting Thai food that feels like a home cooked meal for just you than this is the place for it
This is my second time coming to the restaurant, and I really like it. First, the food—so good! I ordered the “Wok Garlic” with shrimp, and it was delicious. For me, the portion was perfect. I’ve seen some reviews saying the portions aren’t big enough, but I completely disagree. My boyfriend, who usually eats more than I do, was also really satisfied with his meal. Second, the service. The waitress is super kind. She’s always checking in to see if you’re comfortable, if you have enough water, or if you need anything. Very sweet and attentive. Overall, I totally recommend this place. The food and the service are 10/10.
Ddee Thai is now our new fav. This is our second visit and the food is consistently good and tasty. We had some of the same dishes from last time and tried different dishes : Tom yum soup 🥣- the acid/spiciness brings our appetite, chive dumplings 🥟 fried-tasty and flavorful, and duck 🦆 salad- with chili lime juice dressing, so refreshing. The waitress (she is so sweet and tentative) recommended me Kra Pow Kai Khai Dow (Chopped up chicken with garlic, chili, onions, bell peppers, string beans, in basil sauce and fried egg on top, Spicy) with a fried egg 🍳on top of the dish,it was a blast, feel like I was in heaven. My partner got panang curry with duck, also our old time favorite: the duck was crispy with creamy coconut taste. Anyway, it was a delicious meal and unforgettable dinner Khxbkhun (thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻)
This place is solid. Have gotten take out twice and it was awesome both times. The duck salad is great. The steamed dumplings are so good - have tried the chive ones and the hot pot ones. I have gotten kra pow kai khai dow (the one pictured with the fried egg) twice now. And also always make sure to get their peanut sauce bc it is fire. Could eat it with a spoon 😄 no but really 🙊 Next time I’ll probably stick with the duck salad and maybe get some rice. And a side of peanut sauce 😋 Edit: this place still slaps.. and I up-ed it to five star for the food and very pleasant service. At this point I would recommend trying any one kind of the steamed dumplings and peanut sauce as a side just to have but may not be necessary depending on the order.
They serve up the best Thai Red curry. I love it so much that this is where I go exclusively when I’m in the mood for Thai curry. The food is finished in a timely manner and always good. The seafood is always fresh and I’ve always been pleased with my appetizers. They serve generous portions and the staff are always friendly.
Ddee thai was an awesome experience for some late night grub and watching movies. We ordered take-out and went to the restaurant since we've been wanting to try the new thai restaurant in Astoria. The waitress and workers there were really friendly and took our order right away. The restaurant is a very nice and cozy with classic thai decorations that add that unique feeling to the place. Great if you wanna don't wanna eat at home. I got the Chicken Pad Thai without egg. It was great!! The noodles were cooked to slurp-able perfection. It wasn't sweet like how most other places make it super sugary. The chicken was well cooked which made taste great!! I also got the Curry Puffs. They were huge and the dipping sauce was nothing better than awesome since they compliment each other so well. You have to check this place out and Check-In!! for some great Thai food!! Definitely will come again
This spot is a cute little spot that can be easily missed. Decided to give them a try after passing by and contemplating a few times. The staff is very warm and sweet. The food is really good. I've ordered a grapow with egg, and a Thai iced tea with lime (it's a preference, I think this is better than with dairy). The portion of the food is enough for two, so I recommend ordering another portion of rice to share. There's a good spice level, but I think you could ask for it to be made spicier lol Def a place to order to go/delivery. There's not enough space for a party that is more than two persons. Definitely recommend trying this place out.
Second time going in . It’s amazing Food has great Flavor!!!!! Love this dumplings. Had two plates Don’t judge ! 5 starts all the wayyy. New favor spot in Astoria
Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here tonight. We got the Red Curry, Wok Cashew and the Som Tum salad, all of which were excellent (and meat free). Special mention to the Thai Iced Coffee which is the best I've had in the neighborhood!! Dined outdoors (only one table there, which is great re social distancing).
When you crave some authentic Thai food, come check out Ddee Thai. New spot in town will have your Thai fixed.
Very good thai spot with big portions. The place is small, it fits about 10 people. Massman curry and pad see ew are delicious in my opinion!

Delicious lunch special! The portions are nice sizes and service was very kind and accommodating. Limited seating inside. The roti massamam was delicious!
I've been looking for a thai spot with the best pad Thai... my usual spot is the lantern in Brooklyn heights but I had no idea there were so many spots in queens. My friend's girlfriend told me about this place and the chicken pad Thai was sooo good.. I have it four stars because the shrimp fried rice... well not so great... but if you're looking for a good spot for pad Thai... this is it!

It’s a small space. One table so mostly do takeout Lovely staff Food is always hot and fresh They have a gluten free menu Generous portions decent pricing Fast delivery They read instructions and will modify items for you. They never forget anything They have tofu and mock duck for vegetarians Their pad sew ew is very good Their pad Thai is ok Their lunch special is very good. Only thing is if you get the spring roll they will add some sauce on top and it will come wet

Gave this place another shot and ordered the Tom Yum Soup and Hot Pot Dumplings for lunch. The total came to $17. Unfortunately, the portions were quite small, and the Tom Yum Soup was basically just broth with a few pieces of chicken and a couple of mushrooms. It left a lot to be desired, so I ended up adding my own ingredients when I got home. I won’t be returning and would recommend checking out other Thai restaurants in the area.
I’ve been here about four to five times in the past three years. After tonight it’s my last straw and I won’t be returning as the quality has fallen downhill. Each plate is practically twenty dollars now and the food is just too mid to justify it. The only good dish I had was the pad kee mao but I’ve been consistently disappointed every time I order something else. I’m so upset I decided to treat myself and order takeout and ended up with what was on my plate. It ruined my night.

For the price the food has no taste . I definitely will not be getting food from there anymore . It’s not even worth the price. Even the amount was so little.I ordered pineapple fried rice . There was only 1 piece of pineapple and lots of onion . It’s more like onion fried rice . It’s the worst Thai food I have ever had . Never again

Good flavor overall for the dishes we have had but the size of portions are very very small. Almost not worth the price for portion size to go...very disappointing, will not be going back because of the tiny tiny portions. Little to no noodles on my pad kee mao... Noodles make the dish and there are little to none. **Photo was taken after a few bites of no noodles**

Awful experience. We were the only customers in the restaurant, quietly watching sports clips on our phone at a reasonable volume. Out of nowhere, the owner started speaking to us aggressively, called us names, and told us to leave before we could even finish eating. We didn’t complain about the food (which was mediocre), the uncomfortable heat, or the tiny portions. But instead of basic customer respect, we were met with hostility for something that wasn’t disruptive at all. Being insulted and kicked out for no valid reason was a first. Definitely not a place I’d ever return to or recommend.
