We had the Mutton Thakali, Laphing,Chicken Lolipop, buff choila. Service was really quick and fresh. The hospitality was great along with the food. Very good portions for the pricing and every meat dish was amazingly seasoned and they were not shy with the protein I'm glad there wasn't just bones with little to no meat. I’ve been to many Nepali restaurants in London and so far I have to say this is my favourite place. They have everything that I’ve been craving like laphing and choila which hits the spot. Their thali is very traditional too. Everything they served was good plus the serves were very sweet. will definitely be coming back!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thakali Nepali Restaurant and Bar, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was incredibly delicious — bursting with authentic Nepali flavors that left me wanting more. The portions were more than generous, easily enough to satisfy two people, with some left over for seconds! You definitely get your money's worth here. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The person who welcomed us was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers, and with his positive energy and passion for the business, I have no doubt this place will grow exponentially. Every little detail around us—from the decor to the atmosphere—was like a sweet reminder of home. It didn’t feel like we were 12,000 kilometers away; for a few hours, it felt like we were right there. The food was incredible, as if it had taken everything we love about Nepali cuisine and made it even better. It was the perfect touch to an already amazing experience, like adding a beautiful scent to something already golden. But what really stood out was the hospitality. A True Taste of Nepal – Authentic and Delicious!

My wife and I went here for the first time last Thursday, and wow, thank goodness we live nearby! We had an amazing Corn soup to start, it tasted so rich, great consistency, tasted fantastic. Then Pork Steamed Momos, the best Momos I have ever had, by far. So delicious, flavourful, the portion was huge, the presentation was amazing also. To finish, and we were already so full by this point, we had ordered the Local Chicken Takali Khana Set. Incredible. Vast array of food types, flavours and textures. All were outstanding. This restaurant is exquisite. Authentic, mouth watering food, incredible service and beautiful presentation. The bill shocked us, so reasonable for so much. 10/10. Go there, you will be so happy you did.

Went out for dinner in Mustang Thakali and bar and I felt like home there. Live music was awesome. Foods were 10/10 and I felt like it brought me back to Nepal. Services were best and has enough parking lot. Overall ambiance was amazing. Best Nepalese cuisine in the town. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit there . And the best part was it has only Nepalese cuisine, not Indian or any other cuisine.

Amazing food and friendly staff! This was our first time trying Nepali cuisine. We had Mutton Khana Set which was a delicious mutton curry served with rice, dal and a number of sides including pickled and fresh vegetable. Highly recommend! Will be back!

I stopped in with my son and from the moment we entered we felt welcome. The staff are incredibly friendly and explained any questions we had about the menu items. The chicken lolypops were execellent and the Thakali sets we had we quite the experience and full of unique flavours and textures. I really enjoy mixing different parts of the meal together to find that perfect mix or sour, savoury and spicy. I will be back again. It also seems like on occassion they have live music, which I did not experience but given everything else I'm sure it only adds more to the atmosphere. Thanks again for the great food and service!

I went there for dinner and food was very yummy. Server was very friendly and professional. I had Nepali thali and yougert drink ( Mohi). I suggest people to try that than pops. Just for this drink went again next day and had two full glasses of that. If someone going to London , please go and try their food. And of course that yougert drink MOHI.

We had chicken jhol (cold) momo and local chicken thakali khana. It was so authentic and taste was on point. Chicken jhol momo reminded me of Nepali Everest Jhol momo, momo was so juicy and jhol it was amazing. Will definitely visit again and again. Highly recommend

After my friend’s recommendation, I visited this place, so far the Thakali Khana is better than other restaurants that reside in London. Yet there is still some space available for improvement on individual dishes. Overall it's a must-visit place if you are craving for Thakali Khana & I will visit them again very soon.

Absolutely great Nepali food! We were offered free dessert for valentines day which was nice gesture. Good pictures to represent Nepal and the TV was playing nice video of Nepal which was also great to represent the country. I requested them to update map Nepal and they took it positively to make changes. Visited that place everytime we are in London, I honestly recommend this place!

One of the best dine-in spots! I was craving a typical Thakali set, and they served exactly what I was looking for. The ambiance felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were so kind and friendly. The food quality and portion size were more than I expected. The momo and Nepali-style noodles were especially amazing. Truly a great place for authentic Nepali and Indian cuisine.

I'm on a mission to find the best chicken momos in the city, and I think I've done it. These are SO big and juicy and flavourful, I'm so impressed. They aren't unreasonably priced either. Most momos in the city are about $13-$20 for around 8/10/12 of them, and these are $14.99 for 10 really big ones. Normally I can eat the entire order but I will have leftovers with this one. I can't wait to try more of the menu!!

We had the Chicken Thakali last time and we really enjoyed it. This time I came with friends who really love Indo-Chinese food, we got Chilly Chicken momo ,Veg Jhol momo, Chicken-Egg Thukpa which was really amazing and to end it we got Schezwan style Chicken-Egg fried rice. My friends were really amazed with Chilly Chicken momo, they also commented that “These were so far the best momo they’ve had in London “ If you need to satisfy your food cravings, you have come to the right spot. My husband and I went to this restaurant especially to eat Thakali khana, as we had been missing it so much. We went all the way from Mississauga to Mustang Thakali and Bar — and trust me, the food was absolutely delicious! It was tasty and had an authentic Nepali flavor. We ordered the mutton Thakali set. The saag tasted exactly like traditional Nepali “raayo ko saag,” and the daal — which I usually never eat — was so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating it! We had a delicious dinner here. We ordered the mutton thakali khana set and the buf momos. Everything was amazing and presented beautifully. The server came to the table and poured ghee over the thakali tray from a copper teapot. The fermented diakon are make by the chef's mom (we chatted with him at the end of the meal and learned all about how to make them). And then we were given a lovely yogurt drink at the end of the meal. Very tangy and a great way to end a great meal. Very reasonably priced for what you get. Highly recommend you try this place. You will not be disappointed.

Gina greeted us warmly and gave some information about this newly opened restaurant and shared some unknown facts about Nepal . We ordered buff choila for appetizer which was bursting with flavors. After some time we got ourselves thakali khaja set and jhol momo -chicken and I'm not gonna lie that it was one of the best momos I have had so far . After our meal , chef Sugam came to meet us to inquire if the food were good and he was happy that we enjoyed their cuisine very much and we promised to not miss any chance of coming back here again , next time with many of our friends .

Authentic Nepali taste here in London, ON! The portion of food was a lot. I had ordered Khaja Set, order came a bit late but was tasty. Tama ko Jhol was very good. Chicken choila was soury and amazing. Pickles were good too! Will visit soon!

Food was okay but the temperature inside was so cold. We were with 2 kids so our stay there was not so comfortable due to the temperature inside. It was snowing outside and they should really stay closed if they have issue with the heating.

We tried the Thakali set on our first visit, and it was excellent. However, on our second visit, we ordered the deep-fried momo and chicken chow mein, which were disappointing. The dishes lacked flavour and were overly salty. The prices are higher compared to other Nepali restaurants in London. But the quality of the food doesn’t justify the cost.

I’ve been to this place before and had a great experience. The staff were polite, welcoming, and the food was amazing. But today was completely different. The staff were different today. We arrived at around 8:45 PM, really hungry, and ordered pork jhol momo, buff steamed momo, and two laphings. The laphings were great, and the pork momo was okay. However, the buff momo ruined our experience. First, they brought the wrong dish (buff jhol momo instead of steamed momo), and it was cold. We politely asked for it to be replaced, but when the steamed momo arrived, it was still frozen. My boyfriend even threw up after one bite. On top of that, the waitress who took our order was not welcoming and didn’t care about our issue. She ignored us and focused on cleaning tables instead of checking if we were okay. Thankfully, another staff member came to help and handled the situation well, but the poor service from the first waitress ruined our visit. To that waitress: how would you feel if you were treated this way when you go out to eat? Would you be happy? As someone who works in customer service, I know how important it is to treat customers kindly and respectfully. Unfortunately, this experience has made us hesitant to return, even though we used to love this place. Staff attitude can make or break a visit, and today, it broke ours.

I recently ordered momo from here and momo I received was undercooked, the wrapping was too thick and poorly made. The jhol was extremely thin and lacked any real flavor, which made the whole dish feel incomplete. It was not at all what I was expecting. I hope you can look into improving the quality and preparation of your food. Really disappointed with the taste and definitely not worth the price paid.

I visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately my experience was not very good. There was a wedding happening at the same time, but they were still taking other customers. Because of this, the atmosphere did not feel welcoming or comfortable. The food I received was not served hot, and the service felt rushed. Overall, I was disappointed with the visit.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant as a Nepali person. Me and my sisters went to this restaurant as a first timer, we ordered the jhol momo and the chatpate, and let me tell you the chapate was SUPER sour and disgusting, and the jhol momo tasted really unpleasant. Today we went again to give them a second chance. We ordered pani puri, and it was SOO BAD, tell me why there’s so many chickpeas in the pani puri? This restaurant is such a joke, it’s not authentic at all, simple dishes they messed up on. But aside from thay, their interior is great, but the wait for the food took more than 10 minutes, and we had ONLY ordered pani puri.
