Excellent, great tasting food. Staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend people stop in and sample the food. Right across from St. Peter’s Hospital , great choice for quick lunch or dinner.

We haven’t been to Custaos/zoya’s in a long a long time! Ordered 2 Large pizzas. (One fresh sliced garlic roasted with roasted red peppers and banana peppers, the second one was peppers, onions and black olives) absolutely outstanding. While waiting the owner gave us a sample of the Chicken Shawarma over rice. I am so picky with chicken and Zoya’s did it right! Wow the taste was incredible. She gave me so much I have dinner for tonight! Thank you Zoyas/Cusatos for an outstanding meal with exceptionally friendly service!

I came by here a few days ago to get pizza, and guys inside super nice. They gave me lamb on rice, which was really good - I dont think there are many places you can get both a good pizza and a lamb dish, so this place does it right. Excellent service, wonderful staff, and good food!

We ordered from here last night. Omg the best pizza ever. It was ordered under the last name Hanscom. Since we had not been able to get our regular go to pizza place we decided to try these guys. We had 2 pizzas delivered and it was prompt. The driver went six houses down but no big deal. He called we went out and got it. Love this place. Thanks for the great pizza.

I have been ordering strombolis and large pizzas with eggplant sausage and ricotta. They have been great and always arrive hot and early. They also have the best garlic knots. Many thanks for great food.

I was in town for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Had a buffalo chicken salad, grilled chicken salad, BBQ chicken slice, chipotle burger & fries over the course of two days & wanted more each bite. Keep up the excellent job!

Paul knows what he’s doing and is very accommodating. I have a crazy schedule but He is willing to keep delivering the freshest pizza and food around! He even will make it in when it’s needed and shows his love for his craft. I HIGHLY recommend this business’s food!

I'm not sure what the other review is talking about, but their pizza, stromboli, and cheesecake weer all absolutely top notch. Crispy crusts, gooey cheeses, and delicious sauce. We miss Cousin's, but this is a solid replacement.

My experience at Zoyas Pizzeria was like no others. I had a Mild Garlic wings that tasted amazing, very flavorful(I would recommend). I would also recommend their Garlic nots they’re so crunchy as well as their Rice over chicken. The restaurant is a family owned business with a unique and tasty menu. Went to get some shawarma and ended up leaving with some pizza. I was shocked by how good the pizza was. Easily one of, if not, the best I have had in Albany, and the prices were terrific. The chicken and steak Shawarma were also delicious, as was the chicken over rice dish. The woman who took our order was very polite and friendly and our food was ready to go very quickly. Overall, great experience and great food. Reminded me of the pizza I grew up eating down in New Paltz. Definitely recommend this place if you like great ny pizza and great prices.

I’m what you call a food connoisseur so Let’s just say, if you want food that tastes as clean as it looks, real NY city slices, QUALITY ingredients then come to Zoya’s. Zoyas has the best pizza around for the best price! The slices are HUGE! And they’re street food options are amazing! The chicken of rice is a delicious and balanced meal, everything is seasoned perfectly! Also, the service is amazing, very hospitable and kind people!

I have had such a hard time finding consistently good pizza in the area and Zoya's has it. We also tried other dishes on the menu and the food was awesome, the prices reasonable along with pleasant and accommodating staff. This is going to be my new go to place for take out.

Cusatos is a local place to me, I have ordered and picked up from here many, many times since they took over the location. The pizza has always been excellent, I am highly critical of pizza but never vocal about it just personal preference from loving and trying pizza from many famous locations within the East coast. I have disliked most of the pizza the capital region has to offer except for a handful of places, Cusatos being one of them and I am happy to have them so close by. My only complaint would be they don't carry Pepsi lol.

Recently visited this cozy pizza shop earlier this week with a friend for the first time. I must say the pizza was absolutely delicious. We ordered a large vegan cheese pizza and I was surprised with 8 MASSIVE cheese slices. If your considering where to get good vegan pizza, I highly recommend.

Short version: This place is amazing. The new stuff added to the menu is incredible and I eat here a ton. Long version: I work from home and live about a block from Zoya's so it's my daily lunch spot. I eat here often enough that everyone knows my first name...That's an appeal to expertise so you believe this: The food is incredible. I was a little weary when I found out Cusato's was changing but it's been awesome. The chicken over rice is my go-to but I've tried everything and the lamb is probably my favorite. The shawarmas are like beautiful, pita tacos and I can't eat just one. I have nothing negative to say. I'm grateful that my neighborhood fast casual restaurant was replaced by more of the same, with a passionate and dedicated group running the place.

My mom and I got take out from here Monday May 13,2019 and it was great, enough for 2 nights! I ordered Chicken Parmesan and she got a veggie wrap. I work 5 minutes from here and we live 10 minutes away. Very convenient! Very good and we’ll be back!😁

I was a long time Cusato's customer, and I'm happy the pizza is just as good as it was before. The changeup comes with the rice dishes you can get on the side. Lamb and rice is my favorite. I'm not sure how they're making the rice but its great on its own. Try the white sauce, its good on everything.

I was fond of Cusatos because they have a great selection of huge slices and a great lunch deal. With the new owners, I love it even more. The delicious and generous portions of Mediterranean food like shawarma, gyros, and rice meals really added what was missing and makes it my favorite spot for lunch and dinner. New owners are super friendly and run a great restaurant. Take your family and friends or order takeout!

Live in the neighborhood, wanted a cheese pizza for me and the kiddos. Called Zoya’s up and they had me a small order of garlic knots with marinara and an 8 cut cheese 40 minutes later. Great pizza, wonderful service!

My first time ordering from Cusato’s. And I absolutely love it! Ordered a pepperoni/half banana peppers. It arrived earlier than expected, and was nice and hot!! I’m a thin crust pizza lover, and Cusato’s delivered! (Pun intended). Ratio of sauce and toppings was perfect. Great flavor, great crust. I’ll definitely be back!!

The pizza here is great but it’s not just pizza here. Recently ordered lamb over rice and falafel wrap. We were not disappointed. The falafel wrap was amazing! Loaded with falafel with fresh vegatables. Lamb over rice was amazing. The rice was tender and not dry. The lamb was cooked well and tasty.

The food is very good. The people who run it are very nice and friendly. I like ordering here because it's close, the food is really good, and I enjoy supporting their business when they are such good people.

What can I say? The nicest people I've ever met in my life. Seriously. They are so nice so kind and grateful. They welcome me so warmly everytime I go there and their food is amazing. The chicken and rice is superb. I ordered it like ten times already and it is so good. Way better than all the other halal places I've eaten at. And the pizza is great thick big slices. One slice actually makes me full. The owner of that place is so nice. He is very generous and caring and always has a smile to show that he is kind and his family that works there is very sweet. That's what actually makes me want to come there again and again. It's them and their friendliness that make it a warm atmosphere to come in and enjoy their food. I love it.

Gyro lamb was a full meal, tasty sauce, and seasoned french fries... Welcoming store front with a few tanbles and and extended counter... Other dinners appreared to enjoy their lunch... Cleaned and well kept dinner area and cooking without that Clorox smell... Oh without blaring music... Meter Street parking was available... Heads up there's a credit card fee notice, i missed it. No problem next time i will pay cash.

My order was for delivery and it was 20 minutes early. The pizza is always amazing. Everything I’ve tried there has been great. The portion sizes are plentiful and the prices are very reasonable. The service today was very special. I had ordered and paid on line. Normally I pay in cash when the food is delivered. When the delivery person came, I gave him the cash and walked away. I didn’t get far when I heard a knock on the door. I went back and the gentleman handed me back my money and said I had already paid on line. I appreciate his honesty. Thank you!

I appreciate the owner making this right and I have added an additional star to my review - Thank you. I ordered wings here once before and they were very good. I checked the store hours on Google maps and it showed open today (25Oct2021) - I then used the online ordering tool to place an order and it charged me and showed a pick up time of 3:08 pm on 25Oct2021. I drove over to pick up the wings and the store was closed. 3/5 because the wings I got the first time were very good but the Google hours should be updated and the ordering tool shouldn't be allowing orders when you're closed - I would assume the tool is based on the hours of operation listed on Google maps. I will update the review when I receive a refund for my order. Thank you.

They'll property crisp pizza on oven floor. The cheese is thick, sauce savory and not too sweet. Yummy: no leftovers possible, it doesn't last that long. Will return. Also: Please, Wendy Z, check your address, your one star rating is false and therefore harms this local business, because I had their pizza this week. They're next to CVS across from St Peter's Hospital, on New Scotland.

The pizza has a wonderfully thin and light crust which I absolutely enjoy. However, it does lean a bit on the saltier side for my taste. A little less salt next time would make it perfect!

While I think the pizza sauce and cheese could use some changes, they make the best lamb gyro I have had in Albany. The restaurant is always clean. They people who work here are extremely nice and welcoming.

My whole review didn’t appear on Grubhub. I order from here frequently and would never mind reviewing on a good night. Tonight my food was cold. I ordered at 619 and it was said to arrive from 7-710. It came at 724. I left it out side for 1-2 minutes. It shouldn’t have been that cold that I had to warm it up. I called to let them know. I said I ordered off Grubhub and the temperature. I don’t know when it was cooked and picked up and delivered but it was cold and I had to warm it up. The person that answered asked if I was Theresa calling again. I said no. I’m Carolynn. She said “well it’s really cold out, we use hot boxes and I don’t know what to tell you.” I said it wasn’t left outside for it to be that cold. She said thanks for informing us. And that was that. I do order from there frequently and this is the first time I’ve ever had a temperature or really any major issue. Everyone has an off night and I’m hoping that’s the case. I’ll try them again.

The Mediterranean food was actually pretty good, but I was not at all impressed with the Pizza, especially following an act like Cusato's. They should revisit the recipe or get out of the pizza game and just do Mediterranean. Very nice staff, wishing them the best.

Restaurant was clean but had to be 100 degrees in it. The worker at the counter was nice. The food is more of a quantity or quality. Big slices but the Buffalo chicken slice had 2 mall piece of chicken. Cheese slice wasn’t good, have the second slice to the bum begging out front.

Delivery was on time, food was perfectly edible. I ordered through SpotOn, which I see now doesn’t have all the options as the other menus. I ordered a 12-cut eggplant parm pizza, which I expected to be round and have dollops of ricotta cheese. Instead I got a 16 cut rectangular pizza without detectable ricotta. Tasted fine, but not what I was looking for. I also ordered a small garden salad, which I expected from the menu description to have cucumbers and green pepper. Unfortunately both were missing, replaced by raw red onion - very disappointing, since I only ordered it for the cucumber. I hope Zoya’s works out their menu discrepancies but in the meantime I’m going to look elsewhere for pizza.

It pains me to write this review, but I need to alert all Cusato's customers that this no longer the same pizza. We have been regular delivery Cusato's customers since they opened on New Scotland, and have always been satisfied with their pie. Last night was very different (aside from the nice delivery guy). First, apparently meatballs are no longer available as a topping (puzzling given their popularity). Sausage, being an acceptable substitute, was ordered. Get this - the 'sausage' was actual sweet breakfast sausage links cut up into pieces (think Johnsonville). Not inedible, but certainly not hot Italian sausage. The rest of the toppings were scant as well, and the sauce is distinctly different, sweeter but more acidic. Again, not inedible, but nowhere near as good as it once was. Until this is rectified, I need to go find a new pizza place that isn't Spinners. I need meatballs, I need actual good-quality hot Italian sausage and pepperoni. I need fresh mushrooms in abundance. This is most depressing. :-(

Ordered large pepperoni pizza and boneless wings... instead, got an undercooked cheese pizza and wings without sauce. The red sauce was good and I wanted to like the place since it's in my neighborhood, but when not one but two items in the order are incorrect, hard to be a fan.

We got the 18" Chicken-Bacon-Ranch pizza. We only opened it when we got home. We (esp our youngest son) were disappointed with the pizza. Chicken bits (the very dark color pcs) were dry probably over fried and hardly any bacons.

Had the stagionata pizza last night n is was the worst pizza IV ever had. Pizza was falling apart. No toppings barley. All the topping taisted very low quality n blan. Peppers were huge slices n gross. It was a stuffed pizza but the inside toppings barley went halfway to the crust. Mostly hollow. The crust was inedible. Just a horrid pizza. The salad Fanta was the best part of the meal. Smh never eating there again

All I wanted was to eat my food with clean hands and they I was handed a wet paper towel could not let me wash my hands i thought a restaurant needed to offer such things. I hope they wash their hands before handling food

I drove down to Albany from Schenectady because someone told me they have the best pizza..Well,I can honestly say it was the worst pizza I've ever had.. The crust was dry and rubbery,the sauce was tasteless. This place definitely does NOT have the best pizza..In fact there are very few places in New York state that really know how to make pizza..You want real good pizza?..Go to new Jersey or NY city....

I came into this dining experience with very high hopes and I unfortunately would like to say I was let down. While eating my slice of pizza, I noticed rats running around the entire restaurant and found numerous pieces of hair in my food. It’s safe to say I will not be coming back again and I will not be recommending this place to anyone who enjoys good food.

The employees were not wearing masks and they were smoking inside when my girlfriend went into place the order. Completely unprofessional. I had it last year and it was disgusting. Some of the worst pizza I've ever had. I gave it another chance and this is what happens. Food poisoning is not a guess it is what's being put down on the hospital report and I will be going to the restaurant to show them the discharge papers from the hospital that say we have food poisoning as soon as we leave here. DO NOT EAT HERE. NOT SAFE.

**FOOD POISONING ** I went in on Friday and noticed right away how bad this place smells. I proceeded to order the 2 slice and a can for $6. The Pizza was the most abhorrent shlop I've ever had. I was so grossed out I threw the second slice in the bin where it belonged. It is now Sunday and I have yet to eat, sleep, or travel farther than 50 ft from the toilet. This is the worst case of food poisoning I can remember. I will be reporting this disgusting place to the health department. I only wish I saw the other reviews about people being food poisoned before I went went in here.

Never again! Delivery took 1 1/2 hours to come 3 miles for a large cheese pie and was totally cold upon arrival. Mozzarella sticks (also cold) came with 2 ketchup packets instead of marinara! What a ripoff!!

I was very disappointed. I ordered a sicilian pizza, and it was paper thin, and definitely seemed to be old pizza dough. The slices drooped, and fell apart when I picked them up. I said I wasn’t going to go back after the 1st plate of food I had lamb was dry, chicken was over cooked the rice was under done. But I have you know what I’ll give them another chance. For what to fail me again… I order a beet Pattie with cheese and pepperoni they burnt it and thought it was fine. I asked them to redue it for them for them to give me a pattie and the dough wasn’t even cooked.
