Got the desert omakase while on a food tour with my friend that’s visiting. It’s very nice and light and not too sweet. Very well portioned and it’s cool to see the deserts being made in front of you. Would recommend to go for the experience, but would probably not come again. The picture at the end was really funny tho 😂

Always in love with this place. Super nice owner, a hard working woman. It's very fresh and tasty. Not too sweet. Love it!

I've been coming here since 2016 and the experience never disappoints. Although the price has increased due to covid, it's still the best dessert bar in NYC for me after trying out 3 different other Japanese-French dessert establishments. The new take-out menu selection is also great compared to most other to-go pastries and dessert places. Highly recommended for people who love “not-too-sweet” sweets :)

Penultimate desert experience. Truly one of a kind place. If you love desert you must come.

Desserts are truly an art here. The space is small, so expect to wait at least 30 mins to get in 🙂

went on a snow day, not many ppl. got seated at the counter,18dollar for three course. you can only choose the main dessert. I got chocolate tart and cheesecake, which are two signature dish. Both taste good, would recommend cheesecake if you like milky cheesy flavor.

S
Shina Kumra

Not your typical ice cream but IT WAS SO WORTH IT. Between the flavors of the vanilla ice cream, the soft churro and the melted marshmallow on top my taste buds were in heaven. It completely exceeded my expectations because I expected it to just look good, but it tastes just as good as the pictures make it out to be. Would totally recommend and come back here again.

Physically a small place, but very very high quality. For seat in, it costs 25$ for small appetiser, a relatively small main, and small platter with three little deserts (everything is sweet). This three meal course is fit for 1 person. Very good and light, not too sweet. I overall really recommend!

This places is great. I came here for my birthday this past weekend. The host at the door was incredibly nice & offered some wine to us while we waited for a table. I got the cheesecake. It wasn't at all what I was expecting, but it was incredible. Very dense and unique. It's so fun to watch them plate your desserts because it's definitely an art form that they take very seriously.

Stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience! Loved every single bit of it! We really enjoyed sitting at the bar and seeing how our desserts were being prepared! Will definitely come back and would 100% recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth!

Amazing desserts that are so very complex in it's own way. They might seem pricy at $18 a dessert but lets face it, they make a three corse meal out desserts. They start with a super light sorbet and give you want you order and end it with 3 amazing petite desserts that include rolled rum, coconut marshmellow and chocolate short bread. The head chef Chika plates all these wonderful desserts in front of you! So you get to have a master class if you are an aspiring baker or even just a person who enjoys seeing! It is a super tiny place but I've never seen this place host less than 5 people ! A definite must try place if you are around, specially if you are one to enjoy some complex flavors!!

This place is a very creative approach to Japanese influenced desserts. The chef puts a lot of love into each dessert and everything is done in front of you which is a fun experience itself. The wait can be a bit depending on time of day and smaller size of location but the experience is worth it. There is really no wrong choice here.

Went there for a date night. Personally, I do NOT have a sweet tooth and actually do not appreciate desserts, but this place surprised me!! The desserts were light, subtle, elegantly presented. We had no reservations and I guess we waited for about 15 minutes to get in, probably we got lucky considering it was a weekend! But it was well worth the wait

Amazing dessert place it is definitely quality over quantity place. You have to enjoy the atmosphere and time put into the awesome dishes. They accept cards and space could be limited during busy times.

We dropped by to pick up desserts on our way back and it didn’t take too long. They have both simple and unique desserts on the menu. I had their strawberry shortcake which was a big step up from the average strawberry shortcake, with diced strawberries and strawberry cream in between each layer. Definitely a treat and would love to go again to try their other desserts. Our take away bag came with cutlery and napkins as well.

This place has always been special! All the desserts are amazing and inventive. Recently my office ordered some of the bento boxes and everyone loved having the options and choices of items to choose between. As wonderful as it is to sit in and watch Chika make her creations during normal times the to go is perfect during covid when you're looking for something special and different.

It’s my first time trying a dessert omakase and the experience was amazing. The first course features three flavor of quenelle and second course features two flavor of chocolate quenelle. I sat at the bar and the chef prepared the dessert in front of you. I get to see all the action and it was great. I also tried their most popular Fromage Blanc Island “Cheese Cake” and tiramisu mochi. Each piece is very delicious and exquisite. I paired the dessert with oolong tea.

Love it! Chikalicious is indeed so delicious! The chef is so nice calm and great service! The stuff are lovely. And the desserts, ohh the desserts ! I tried the white chocolate mousse with pineapples and was sooooooo good! I could eat lots more of this at one shot 😋😋. Also the premium latte is so smooth and good ! I will be back for sure!

What a fun experience! For those unfamiliar, you'll have to wait in line outside (inside seating is limited), but it's worth it. When you get seated you'll have a tasting menu of constantly changing, and elevated, desserts. They're small, so you will have room to try a bunch. It was a blast! We enjoyed every bite, loved the experience, and everyone there was very nice! Highly recommended!

This place is simply unique! Their dessert tasting menu is composed by three courses where you choose the middle one. Their desserts are like a oasis for people looking for more than just "sugar filled with sugar". Here, you will taste delicate flavors and unusual combinations, served with elegant compositions.

J

Absolutely amazing experience. A little expensive for just desert, but well worth it. You don’t get to have black pepper sorbet with tomato jelly every day! The cheesecake was smooth and probably one of the best I’ve had. I also tried the chocolate tart (delicious!) and despite the location being small it was an enjoyable experience.

Come with me to nyc’s FIRST ever dessert omakase experience! This spot has been open since 2003 and is serving the most delicious pastries in a carefully crafted omakase experience. For $26 you’re given 5 mini desserts that each have their own unique flavor profile. The desserts come in 2 courses. What we ordered: -fromage blanc cheesecake -fresh mint ice cream, double chocolate pudding, double chocolate sable -roasted banana ice cream, cacao nib chantility, chocolate choux puff -white chocolate mouse, kiwi lavender tartare, crispy kataifi -blood orange sorbet, coconut cream, chai tea agar agar -Kirsch diplomat cream, strawberry, brown sugar biscuit The talented pasty chefs take you on a culinary journey and you can even add in a wine pairing. My favorite was the fresh mint ice cream made with real mint leaves. The space is intimate and seating is limited, so hurry and check this spot out! Follow me for more! @angies_foodie_adventures

Went here recently after almost a 5 year hiatus and it’s still great as ever. I read in another review to not get the omakase set but I strongly disagree with that as someone of the “side” desserts that she serves you are even more delicious than the main and you can’t order it anywhere else.

Absolutely stunning find, one of those "only in New York" places that's an absolute must-try. Chef Chika is highly skilled, but these desserts are extra special because of the chef's innovative skills. Our amuse-bouche was an anise sorbet paired with a coffee gel, a pairing I never would have put together but found absolutely delicious. I chose the warm chocolate tart, which came with a peppercorn sorbet--again, never would have thought to create this dish, but I found it stunning, with just the right amount of bite to counter the irresistible creaminess of the warmed chocolate. My boyfriend chose the melon sorbet duo in tequila cream sauce, which was so refreshing and the perfect summer dish. The petits-fours at the end were lovely as well. We both chose to pair with dessert wine, which I probably wouldn't do again as I'm not a huge fan of dessert wine and found that the dishes were good enough on their own that the wine didn't add much. However, for those that enjoy dessert wine, it's certainly worth the money. All in all, a fantastic experience.

😍😍😍 This is beyond perfection! I had the warm chocolate tart with the pink pepper corn ice cream. DELIGHTFULLY DELICIOUS! Also, I tried the Róse Sparkling drink with a blood orange ice cube. I throughly enjoyed everything! 🤤 it’s a great spot with a lovely vibe. The Doughyaki is a must try. ☺️

What a nice vibe Chika has. We had a nice chat, and they prepare everything in front of you when you sit at the bar. We had the menu option for $25,- You get a starter, then pick one of the options in the menu. My friend got the caramel panna cotta with pineapple sorbet. I got the gooseberry with crème fraiche on crispy kataifi. And then the last one is petit fours. Taste 5/5 Location 5/5 Vibe 5/5 A must try spot!!!

My friends and I came here for dessert after a nice lunch around the area. Small place but I really like how the master chef prepares her desserts. She pays attention to details and makes sure every one of her work stays consistent and beautiful. I would recommend anyone to definitely try it if they are in the area!

This place is not just for the ones with sweet tooth, this is an experience you won't forget. 3 courses of dessert, all prepared with immaculate attention, taste combination, love and care. Menu changes every week. There are to go options as well, but I suggest you take a seat, and experience the ritual. One to be remembered 💫

This special desert bar is one of my favorite date places. Intimate space with very special hand made deserts and wine pairings. Tea and specialty drinks served and hosted by professional friendly people. Had a great time here and the atmosphere and effort put forward by the team here is what we all need and appreciate. Clean and covid compliant.

This morning, I had the distinct honor of being one of the first in the city to experience @chikaliciousdessertbar_nyc’ new revolutionary 7-minute egg. Yummmmmmelicious! Chef Chicka combined her Japanese background with her French cooking expertise to create this perfect egg on a savory biscuit. Totally delicious 😋

Wow, as a diabetic this was a real sweet but fun treat! Trying Omasake for the first time with desserts was definitely a tasty experience I enjoyed very much! All their options were amazing, and the tasting is new, so make sure you try it out yourself! I loved their homemade tea, too. It definitely was a fun solo time I'd definitely return. One of the most unique desert experiences NYC has to offer. Unique doesn’t alway mean good but in this case it means amazing. The deserts always hit and give my taste buds a completely new experience that we always love. Highly recommend the tasting menu it always hits no matter what their current deserts are. Also the nicest people work here and they prepare everything right in front of you. It’s is a little small and cozy inside but it doesn’t even bother us. All around fantastic worth the trip every time!

An extremely pleasant dessert omakase experience! Ordered the new product tiramisu mochi and was immediately impressed! The texture was cloud-like, yielded to your teeth easily. The coffee flavor and the creamy flavor blended so well together. I would recommend order one for each because you will hate to share! The oui quenelle set was thoughtfully designed. It started out with light, refreshing fruity flavors, then rich and buttery chocolate ones. You get diverse textures too: crispy, crumbly, crunchy, jiggly, fluffy… The presentation was beautiful. It truly pleased your eyes, nose and mouth at the same time.

For an amazing dessert spot to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is the spot. These desserts are amazing and well thought out with tons of unique flavors and textures. I have been coming here for awhile and I am never disappointed in what I get. Make sure to get a personal tea pot to elevate the experience. Staff were super friendly and bathroom was clean. Cozy spot so max 4 ppl for optimal experience. Reservations encouraged by not required.

Chikalicious dessert bar remains my ultimate go-to for desserts! While I find it a tad pricey and stick to ordering the same dish every visit (fromage blanc), I still thoroughly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are friendly, and the desserts are both beautiful and delicious. It's the perfect spot to hang out with a few friends. Also, I was pleasantly surprised when they secretly took a picture of my friends and me, and printed it on a freshly baked cookie. Adorable touch!

Dining in is a prex fixe tasting menu for $26/person It's like a Omakase for dessert :) Chika will pick the first course “Amuse” and third course “Petits Fours” We picked cheesecake as our main dessert, it was so light and creamy but not sweet. you can't get this anywhere. We went around 5pm on a weekend and there were no line. the service was really good and they surprise us with a nice cookie with our photo!!

Chika and her team provides an imaginative three course dessert tasting experience on Thursdays thru Sunday. For cake nights, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, that's all they serve. I was such a fan from my tasting that I returned for the cake. Both experiences were over the top delicious. Wedgewood China and other beautiful bone China plates, tea cups and saucers complete the dining experience. Not only are the desserts scrumptious, the use of fresh cream, seasonal fruit, and creative ingredient combinations wakes your taste buds. Who would've thought, coconut sorbet with avocado and mango would work so well together! Highly recommend multiple visits to try everything and making a reservation for both a seat and desserts you want to try is suggested. Once the item is sold out, that's it for the day.

If you’re looking for an inventive spot for dessert and all things sweet, this is the place to come! Chika, the chef, manages to elevate each plate to something very special without following the fads, creating tastefully plated works of art with a twist. I hadn’t been back for almost 15 years and recently returned for a celebratory pre-dinner dessert with friends and was reminded of why I loved it this place so much. We ended up ordering a number of dishes. However, as ChikaLicious offers a prix-fixe, we started with a light and refreshing sorbet with an Earl Grey jelly. I chose the Fromage-Blanc Island Cheesecake as my main-course. This was followed by an adorable plate of petit-fours. I had pre-gamed and researched the menu options prior to my trip down and saw the Fromage Blanc Island dessert has won an award recently. It looked very simple and I was expecting a pretty basic and perhaps more moist cheesecake. Instead it completely exceeded my expectations. Beyond being a simple cheesecake, this concoction had notes of a yogurty tangy-ness paired with a sweet and unctuous texture, but still felt light and not heavy-handed, each bite had a richness and complexity I did not think was possible. I definitely felt a little sad when I reached the last bite. But thankfully, they had plenty of options left for the hungry diner and we ended up splitting Mille Crepe Tahitian Vanilla Bean, Banana Cream Pie Cream Puff (which the chef informed me was one of her personal favorites), the DoughYaki Donut, and last but not least, the Ooey Gooey Chocolate Chip. I probably would have gotten another 1-2 desserts but we had a dinner lined up. Beyond the tasty treats, the entire staff were super friendly and attentive. The co-owner and husband of the chef, Don was so warm and welcoming. And the chef, Chika was such a pleasure to watch as she created the delicious dishes right behind the bar in this cozy space. If you’re looking for a special treat, this is a must!

It was my second time enjoying Chikalicious dessert. The dessert design is highly aesthetic, and it still tastes fantastic. Chikalicious provides three courses for each person at an attractive and reasonable price. Generally, the entire experience is lovely, and this spot suits couple dating or friend meetings. The first course is a sorbet on a dairy pudding; the flavor varies from season to season. You can choose your main course with over five options, and the typical one is the Japanese cheesecake, which is very light and fluffy. The last course has three cute one-bite refreshments in different flavors and textures. I highly recommend enjoying the main and final courses with tea or a champion. Sitting in the bar area is much more enjoyable than a table. You can either chat with friends or watch the chef preparing your dessert. The bar can seat up to 10 people, and two tables are available. So an appointment in advance is highly recommended! Otherwise, you may miss peak dining hours if you want to walk in.

This is a very unique dessert bar. Tasting menu is 25 po and you are served 3 courses of dessert. You can accompany your dessert with tea or wine. Tea is served in the cutest cups. This is definitely a hidden treasure and a must visit for everyone.

Fantastic desert bar, that I would highly recommend. It was a lot of fun to sit at the bar and watch them prepare the desserts. The chef and host are incredibly sweet and inviting. My wife and I tried the seasonal specials (zucchini bread and basil sorbet). Both were delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

Absolutely amazing stuff! Go to this cafe if you want to experience desserts done to the highest level and quality, small portions but really great mix of flavours! I tried their tasting menu and some takeaway orders and everything is so interesting and new! My personal highlight from my NY visit. Don't go there if you want to just eat dessert or you expect a filling one, it's an experience meant to make you try a new thing.

Asia J.

A must try unique dessert experience. I chose the $25 per person option and you get 3 small portions that equal to a full serving. If you want to add to the experience, you can pair wine with the dessert (give it a try...it was delicious). If you sit at the bar, you'll be able to watch the preparation of each dish. I suggest making a reservation (Thurs-Sun) during their allowed times if you don't want to wait. The day I went, walk-ins were seated immediately, but I know this place has long lines, at times. If you have questions, just ask away and someone will answer you! I came here for my birthday and they made me feel truly special. The service here is exceptional and I will definitely be back!

It was a unique experience. The staff is friendly and kind. The music is nice and everything we have tasted was extraordinary and delicious. 25 dollars per person if you want to have the dessert menu. Which is not particularly affordable but it was an experience. I like the fact that portions are small and enough since it is not likely to see a dessert not oversized and full of sugar in the US.

Jessica Catelak
Jessica Catelak

This is a very unique spot, a dessert tasting $25 a person with your choice of dessert. Both my bf and I choose different dessert but we really wanted to try the omelet with truffle butter. All three desserts were absolutely delicious with such unique flavors, textures and such careful preparation. We sat at the bar and watched them prepare everything, it was such a wonderful experience, definitely worth waiting in line!

I heard about this place for a few years now but always fall short on going here with every visit to NYC. I finally made it here this December. They open at 3pm, we got there at 3:30 and the place was almost completely packed. A party had to shift one seat over to accommodate the two of us. It was a Friday afternoon in the dead of winter; who knew a dessert bar was a place to flock to?! I guess well more than 10 years later, this place is still holding on to its allure. The verdict: the desserts are yummy. But the best part is watching Chika and her staff plate the desserts. The plating is clean but not as refined as those fancy restaurants. Then again, you are not paying fancy restaurants' prices. Some may think they are pricy for what you get. For me, this is a dessert bar not a complete meal. $18 for an Amuse, choice of dessert, and petit fours is not outrageous.

D
Deborah Cruz

Service was fantastic, desserts and drinks were very good, but portions were too small for prices.

J
Juine Wang

Tea is better than the dessert for me, the taste did not impressed me and even if you see the open kitchen, they are not making the dessert in front of you. They are just heating the cookie or taking the cheesecake out from the refrigerator. And it doesn’t taste like cheese at all. But for the very aromatic tea and the very nice vibe I am still giving it a 4 star. Also, they will let you wait outside until the seats are available cuz it is too compact inside the bar. So don’t go during their busy hours, i was freezing with my friends in the cold waiting for them to call us in.

The omakase was not bad, but I was expecting a bit more? Can’t bother to take a picture of the third course as they are thumb size cookie, cake, and coconut marshmallow. You can actually get the jasmine milk jelly across the street from ANDO pastries for $6. And it tastes the same just without the sorbet. Service was not bad.

I tried the tasting menu $25/person and didn’t like it that much. However, I highly recommend everyone to try the take out desserts- so much better. Try the strawberry cream puff!

It was good but for the price, it was a bit underwhelming. Food - 3/5 Dessert are pricey for what you get. I ordered what came out to be 2 spoons of ice cream in a plastic cup with a shot of espresso for $11. Ambiance 5/5 Both jndoor and outdoor dining available. Glass partition between tables indoor. A little small but cozy Service 4/5 I think waiter meant well but he could come off as a bit rude. The rest of the staff was really friendly. Everyone was wearing mask and following protocols

I showed up wanting cheesecake, but I got a 3 course dessert. It was a pleasant surprise. The dessert is prepared in front of you if you’re seated at the bar. And it is delicious. I enjoyed trying different desserts and having the star of the night (what I went for) not disappoint. The place is small, not much room. You do have to wait to be seated before entering the restaurant. I did not expect the experience, but it was a good one. I would suggest making a stop here.

Great place to go to give your palette a whirl! You select a main dessert but it also comes with an amuse bouche to start and petit fours for after. Started off with coffee ice cream and star anise jelly - wow, strong flavours but worked well together. My cheesecake tasted a bit like a light yogurt - lovely for a hot day and a good sized portion it looked like, compared to the other desserts. My husband ordered the chocolate tart which was great! My only comment would be - make the main dessert slightly bigger! From what I could see a lot of them were petit four sized (except the cheesecake). Loved seeing the chef serve up right in front of you - I have learned a bit about plating up and making quenelles!

A tiny bar (less than 20 seats) with cute little three-course desserts. It was kind of crowded and busy on the verge of getting out of control. I had warm chocolate tart and it was good, but not so good that I would throw away another $20 to come here again.

If you like dessert, Chikalicious is a must-eat place in your NYC trip. They have seasonal menu and all of them taste great. Try to avoid lunch or dinner time because there is always long lineup. Will come back and try again!

This is such a wonderful place for a date night, girls' night out or any special celebration. It is small but the tight space allows you a close up view as the chef assembles and plates each dish. There are two tables for small groups but the counter seats are the best in the house. The desserts were artfully presented. A definite must try.

Great service and nice view for the dessert bar. However, for the price and expectations for the name, I was a little bit underwhelmed with the dessert. Perhaps if there are some conversation with customers about concept/inspiration would help connecting us more together with the dessert, but I left without having a significant memory of dishes which I was a little bit disappointed about. Don't get me wrong, I still think this is a great place to spend a date with, but just hope there will have a lite improvement in the future for me the enjoy this dessert bar a little more.

For $25, the 3 course prix fixe is a good bargain. First and third courses are chosen for you and are small in size while the second you choose from a menu and is more substantial. I liked that they had wine pairings and everything we tried was very good. Ambiance wasn't great compared to most other restaurants in the city. What we really weren't thrilled about is how the payment was handled. We had a 3 course prix fixe gift certificate with a value of $100. Our meal only totaled $75 so after payment we waited for the employee to return a new certificate with the remaining balance. He never came back and treated our table as checked out. Once we realized what was going on and asked where our remaining money was, he told us we had to use the full amount at our visit and we wouldn't be getting anything back. Sure, not a problem, but certainly something you should make your guests aware of (we were not). Literally said nothing to us and they were just going to keep the $25...seems crazy to me. And there was no, "Apologies, we thought you were aware." We requested to spend the rest of our $ on items on the to go menu to which they obliged (how could they not), but overall this was an off-putting experience.

Dessert: 3/5 Service: 1/5 The dinning time period was only 20 minutes but we were kept there for another 40 minutes cause the waiter forgot our check even thought I brought it up for THREE times! I really wanted to leave and lost all of my patience in the end. Btw it was Chief Chika who took our orders, poured water twice , and took away our plates after we finished . . . It was not crowded at all either . . .

Food: Matcha w/Red Bean & Nutty Professor ChurroCones + Toffee Cake Soft, chewy, flaky, sweet churrocone. The matcha tasted authentic and the red bean was great. The toffee cake was interesting. Make sure you eat it with the ice cream. Price: Expensive for dessert Menu: Really diverse and original Service: Cool staff and wait was moderate. Decor & Atmosphere: Tight and small Overall: Good and it's worth a another trip.

Desserts time! Highlights of the menu: 1. Banana pie cream puff This place is very renown for its desserts that I had a chance to try. And it’s actually goood! The banana flavor in the soft cold cream with the lightly crunchy choux is a bomb!! The place offers seats for afternoon tea with a set menu of pastries and teas. This is a small cute store that suitable to hang on a chill day. I went to Chikalicious just for the sweet so I had it to go. Seating is complimentary with tea sets, otherwise there is a small charge for seating. This can be a little downturn as some guests want to sit down for pastries and drink not tea time. Tea sets in here is a little high priced, I would expect the good quality on the next time I visit the store.

I did enjoy the dessert I had here. Tasted great but $25 plus the cost of drink for the tiny dessert I got may not be enough. I can see myself coming here only on a blue moon. The bakers were nice and served us our desserts. I just can’t say I’d be a repeat customer.

The dessert course was fantastic, but service could be better. The reservation email said to not arrive later than 5 minutes after the reserved time, but no one ever greeted us until twenty minutes after. The chefs are lovely, but I think there’s not enough staff, which makes sense because the place is also super small. Maybe only good enough for a one time experience.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a charming ritual of ringing a bell before being ushered to the bar seating. The omakase dessert menu, priced at $29 per person, promised an intriguing experience. Our culinary journey began with a delightful pineapple sorbet, layered over a creamy, yogurt-like base, and topped with roasted coconut flakes. This dish was an absolute standout, inspiring me to try replicating the pineapple sorbet at home. I’d happily rate it an 11/10 for its refreshing and well-balanced flavors. We then ventured into the heart of the menu with two main desserts. The first, a pound cake accompanied by cream and ice cream, unfortunately, didn’t quite meet my palate’s expectations, leaving me a bit puzzled with its combination. I’d reluctantly score it a 1/10. The second dessert, a renowned fomage cheesecake, boasted a texture somewhere between a soufflé and foam, with just a hint of sweetness. However, the texture and flavor profile were not to my liking, earning another 1/10. Additionally, we sampled some small cookies which, while passable, were rather unremarkable—another 1/10. The accompanying tea was decent, contributing to a total expenditure of around $80, including tips. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to watch the desserts being artfully prepared right before our eyes, though the seating could have been more comfortable. While the experience had its highs and lows, I remain undecided about returning. Perhaps the allure of that exceptional pineapple sorbet will draw me back in the future.

Mark to remind myself.. no sure if I want to visit second time. I only got their mille crepe cake to go since I’m a crepe cake lover and I’m always serious about it.. it was $18 FYI. Flavor was good I have to say. The burnt sugar tasted was strong and special. They made layers slightly thinker that other places (which meant each layer had more cream) and this made the cake greasy. I would like to try other items next time (especially the 3-course menu) but I’m not sure if it worth the price now.

Chikalicious provides a fine dining concept to desserts. One of the highlights of the menu is the omakase, a 3 course dessert meal with one ‘main’ coming from any item from the menu. Personally, I would not opt for that option and instead go for more mains as the other two courses are just normal desserts which could be gotten elsewhere. You will receive amazing service in this establishment. However, I find the desserts to be priced too high despite the hospitality.

Dessert course for $19 and $9 for tea. $28 + tip for decent dessert. it is very tiny space so you might not have high-tea/afternoon tea type of luxurious time here. Many people are waiting while you are eating. You feel rushed. Also tea quality was disappointing. Presentation was great but tea quality was not so great. It’s very unfortunate. Hope staff learn how to brew better. Cheesecake was pretty good.

Walk in hungry walk out hangry. Clean and kind service. But portions and relative price is not worth it. I had a table spoon of ice cream and small treats for $20bucks

What a disappointment! I understand the concept and the cost, but it didn't meet our expectations. The music was terrible, we were sat at a table next to a closet that had its doors open and you could see inside (cables, boxes, jackets). They seem to be worried with a good service and presentation, but then forget about these things that are also important. The amuse-bouche made us realize that the presentation was flawless, but the flavor although delicate it was too sweet. The desserts weren't bad, but again they were too sweet and not memorable. The finishing samples weren't interesting either. Overall we did not like the experience and will not return.

I heard great things about this place but was disappointed to be honest, since I had so much expectation. I reserved for prix fixe course, great presentation but not great taste. Ordered the strawberry short cake and crepe cake, strawberry short cake was okay but personally think lady m crepe cake is far better. Everything else was just okay..

Food was bland! Go anywhere else for dessert and it would be 10x better. The service was subpar. The atmosphere was pleasant but the food was mediocre at best. Don’t waste your money here. My partner and I went on a Saturday with a reservation in the afternoon. We waited 10 mins until served water and given the menus. We spent a total of $65 for two people! Not worth it. Extremely underwhelming.

Ordered a pickup cake. Was informed a day before picking up date that the scheduled pickup time would be unavailable so had to adjust my work schedule during workday to pick it up. Was asked to meet in front of an anonymous tree which was 5-6 blocks away when I was already at their store location. Most frustrating pickup service I received throughout my life. So 0/5 for service. The cake is good. 4/5 for the food quality. Overall 2/5. Update: Get harassing text message after posting this review. Looks like the owner thought I was another previous customer. Anyway, downgrade to 1/5 due to that attitude.
