The chicken Caesar wrap is LIFE CHANGING. Made with SO MUCH LOVE AND CARE. They grill that chicken so good. Tortilla soft as pillows. I be dreaming about this all week. That first bite will change your life. MUST TRY!
Great tasting pizza. One slice is large enough for 2 people. Soft crust.

This is the best pizza joint in lower east village. As a resident near them it’s by far the best slice, service and also a great chicken parm sandwich. Only place I’ll get a takeout pie from in the neighborhood
The vodka margerita slice is absolutely amazing and the grandma slice too - best I’ve had in the city
I’m not really there for the pizza, never tried it before. They have the cheesiest, most delicious penne alla vodka that I always go back for, along with these really tender wings. Decent price for both of them too.
Delicious, much of the menu is made to order. Very kind staff.

Great cheese slices! Had two of em and it was a nice blend of cheese gooeyness while still having a good amount of sauce. My only issue is with the price being $4 dollars each which is pretty expensive especially with the fact there are cheaper options around the area for a slice while maintaining similar quality. Still worth checking out though since they also have a lot of seating available so it’s easy to take a party of 4+ people.

Honestly a great place to a great late night slice
It's a corner pizza place with above average NY style pizza. The employees are friendly enough.

Great spot to grab lunch, nothing too fancy but a lot of yummy options. (I got the supreme and it was very tasty, I like the way the sausage is thinly sliced)
large newish pizza spot cornering 2nd Avenue and 4th Street—with a huge menu to match—serving sub sandwiches to pasta to a variety of topped pizza and mo’. clean, and a lot of seating. the plain cheese pizza is solid: a rug of melty cheese + somewhat saucy sauce on a NYC style crust. while not artisan, La Vera’s pizza does its job of delivering calories to ‘zza casuals. not all pizza is built the same.

Expensive ($12 for 2 slices!), soggy, greasy pizza, but tasted delicious when I was hungry haha.

They don't serve pizza here. They serve bread, sauce, cheese. They can't make pizza at all. The cheese is completely unbonded from the bread. The toppings come separate from the cheese on first lift and bite. Bread does maintain any form at all and just breaks the moment you pick it up. Horrendous. The reason it's not 0 stars from me is because the lights are bright and not fluorescent white light

I’m sorry, but how hungry for money do you have to be to not offer someone a new slice after they drop theirs by accident? I just witnessed a guy drop 2 pizza slices - 1 on the floor, and one all over his sweatshirt which was really sad to see. He ended up repurchasing both with no reaction or empathy from the staff. You could have great food, but bad service could overpower that and be enough to not come back. I would understand if we were at a bar and a drunk person dropped their shot on the floor, but come on guys, this was not cool… I feel like it’s a common rule in NYC, especially when you’re not a struggling small business and literally have 4 locations in the city :/
Their pizza is just ok, definitely not worth the price. Their Buffalo Chicken is now $7.50!!! How ridiculous is that?! Get $1.50 slice down the block instead.
WAY too expensive for the same quality pizza that you get in other shops in the neighborhood for less than half of the price. I would not recommend due to that.
Mediocre pizza, if being generous. It's just not quite good, probably because of below-par ingredient quality and technique. Too many pizzas on display leads to poor rotation: most things taste stale. I have fallen into the trap a few times, and in all cases I left feeling heavy and disappointed. Prices are truly excessive. Go half block up and pay a third for better quality. Or go across the street, pay the same, and get one of the best slices on this side of town.
I almost skipped ordering from here after looking at the Sicilian slices, and man do I regret ordering anyway. The rang up my order as more expensive and played dumb when I asked them to correct. I had to explain it twice. Sicilian slice was boring and bland. I recommend you pass on this place.

Soaked 5 napkins full of grease before I could even take a bite as oil was literally pooled on the slice. I had the margarita pizza so be warned. The few bites I did take were tasteless so I didn't finish eating it. Staff is friendly but I've have better pizza at the $1.50 places.
New spot.. First the pizza is runny and cheese just rolls Right off...lots of sauce, oily and very salty. Nothing special. For $3.54. I mentioned why not 3.50 or 3.55?. 4 guys behind counter just stared at each other. Pizza up the street for $1 about the same.
$5+ for a lousy beef patty?! *I'd really appreciate a full refund. Do you have a direct email? Thank you.

What a rip off! At least the $1.50 pizza spot down the block is honest about price and quality.
