My fav Korean fried chicken places. Good portion
Delicious! The best Korean Fried Chicken!! Love korean food and this its the best. Me encanta el pollo frito coreano, este es delicioso!!!
I had takeout and it was great. First of all, the chicken taste great...like Chicken 🤤. I tried their garlic honey boneless and wow, the taste is amazing. I had some Gangnam style and my daughter loved the flavor. I had some spicy 🥵 and damn that was spicy for my taste. It was a mixed of habanero, which had never been my favorite but the flavor was good. Overall, it was a great experience... 81 dollars for , 3 types of wings, and dumplings. Will definitely come back
I was craving for Korean fried chicken, and happened to be in Alhambra. This was my go to Korean fried chicken place. I ordered via scanning a QR code, which was convenient. I got wings with Secret sauce and Honey Garlic sauce. Service was fast, and servers were friendly. I like the honey garlic the most, and I could not stop eating until I finished all the wings.

The restaurant had multiple television that played sports and k-pop music videos. I like the music their play. There are a few parking structure closed by, and parking was easy.
Fantastic chicken in so many flavors. Hot, crispy, fresh, juicy, rich sauces. I recommend the half golden original and half secret sauce whole chicken, which is cut in pieces. It's not just 2 whole chicken breasts, but they are cut in 3-inch pieces for easy sharing. The wings are also great. Garlic soy sauce and Gangnam style are recommended. They have some fries and coleslaw among other sides. The Rose Ddeok bokki was yummy. Add the cheese if you like cheese. It was amazing, bouncy, slightly chewy rice roll pasta with yummy sauce. Go in a group so you can share a bunch of flavors. Fun.
The only place I have tried that comes close to what real Korean fried chicken taste like. I had the wings. They were crunchy on the outside, but very juicy on the inside. I ordered Gangnam style and spicy Galbi wings. They were both amazing. I ordered through Door dash and it took 30 minutes to get delivered, but they were as good as if they just came out of the fryer. Next time I get a chance to eat here again I will try the whole chicken.
This is one of the popular franchise from Korea. I ordered over the phone around 7pm when they’re super busy, and my food was still cooked well within 20 minutes. They even texted me when the order is ready. The taste, it reminded me of Korea. I am super excited super authentic Korean fried chicken in Alhambra.
I want this to be a 4.5 rating, not a 4. We came here on a Saturday, and as soon as we walked in the door, there was an off putting smell that I couldn't pinpoint. It was not an aroma from food, though. It was almost musty, which could've been anything from floors being mopped with dirty water, Or tables not being cleaned and sanitized properly. Now, mind you, I hate writing reviews like this, but I hope it will serve as constructive, and the management will correct this, because honestly EVERYTHING else was great. Service was attentive and courteous. I ordered a strawberry lychee soju slush and it was refreshing and really yummy. We also ordered the cheesy boneless chicken, honey garlic boneless, and the super hot boneless chicken. We wanted the galbi, but they were out of that sauce. I only had the cheesy and honey garlic. I tried the hot, and oh my, it packed a PUNCH. I think anyone who enjoys spicier flavors would love this. The cheesy flavor reminded me a lot of Kraft mac and cheese powder with a hint of sweetness. Really good. Would order again. The honey garlic was really really good. Get the pickled radish, especially if you order the spicier flavors. All in all, a good experience. Would totally go back.
The food and service was good. The chicken was crispy and tender. My only 2 critiques. The first would be that the bulgogi poutine's sauce, it should be more of a gravy as the tater tots were breaking up because it was wet. Second, I felt everything was extra sweet. But that is my own taste buds, I had to take a bit of the pickled raddish to help with sweetness level. Try it yourself! It's good, I just have sensitive taste buds. My husband didn't find it overly sweet like I did.
Fist time here in Sunday night around 8pm. The store is not very busy. I like the Daek Bokki, the cheese makes it tastes even better. We ordered Soy Garlic and Gangnam style. Soy Garlic is really good. Don’t expect the Gangnam Style to look anything like the ads in the store. I don’t like it because it was salty and just sour. I’ll come back next time to try other flavors.
Another Korean fried chicken, what can I say. Their fried chicken are awesome, I ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 whole chicken (original and hot spicy), loved it, perfect seasoning, not too much on the hot spicy sauce which sometime makes the chicken soggy. The hot spicy has some sweetness on its taste and slowly heat up in your mouth. The original tastes great too, the battered is perfect. I also ordered the Bulgogi poutine, WOW!!! First time trying it, so good. Loved the combination of meats, tots, Kimchi and egg. The only regret was the coleslaw, 3.99 for the portion, you tell me, worth it? The slaw was bland and dry, had to add my own dressing. I will definitely go back for its chicken.
The chicken wings were not covered with enough sauce (honey garlic). I am a fan of bbq and had eaten at many locations. Their chickens were not coated fully. More interestingly, when I called the store, they said “we cover only 70% of chicken with sauce. you can buy extra sauce if you think it’s not enough”. What?? Why???? Why 70%? As much as it’s hard to believe, that is exactly what they said. What kind of cheap strategy is this? Apparently fully sauced chicken is too much for them so they decided to charge their customers. I am not going back here. At other locations I never had this issue. Never heard of that excuse from anywhere else. I’m writing this review out of love for Korean Chicken, so other ppl can learn this place does not hold up its gold standard.
