El lugar muy agradable, la comida deliciosa con ese sazón característico de la comida preparada a la leña. Aparte puedes disfrutar de una área con un alberca pequeña, camastros y amacas, y por si fuera poco..... bastante económico

Honestamente no comimos ahí pero las bebidas fueron deliciosas. El lugar es super bonito, súper natural, el agua del río estaba helada pero que bonito lugar, no pagamos nada por el acceso ya que íbamos en un tour de Canopy y wow me gustó. Las personas son amables pero algo frías, recomendado para desconectarte de todo el exterior.

Visitamos el lugar con unos amigos y el trato fue excelente , la comida nos gusto mucho, el paisaje y las albercas bellísimas. Desde el momento de pedir información por Whatsapp fueron muy amables y atentos. Cabe mencionar que lo visitamos por segunda ocasión con la familia ya que olvidamos un objeto y muy amablememte lo guardaron. ( Les recomiendo visitarlo principalmente en verano si van con piensos de bañarse , el agua en este tiempo está rica pero muy fria ), pero si van con el afán de comer rico y pasarla agradable sin mojarse es ideal cualquier tiempo . Lo recomiendo 100%

Este lugar es perfecto para venir tanto en pareja como en familia... Su entorno natural hace que se sienta una gran tranquilidad, más aparte tiene un río donde puedes bajar y disfrutar del agua un rato... Para complementar hay algunas actividades divertidas; cómo gotcha, albercas y paseos en cuatrimotos. Recomiendo mucho este lugar para pasarla a gusto en compañía de familia y/o pareja.

We visited Rancho Mi Abuelo during a guided e-bike tour through the Sierra Madre mountains and loved our stop here. We ordered a beer and a margarita, and the BBQ platter came highly recommended. It was huge, packed with authentic flavor and easily enough food for four people, not just two! The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of shady spots to rest and cool springs where you can take a refreshing dip after the ride. They also have clean restrooms, take credit cards, and even have a sweet husky who acts like the unofficial trail guide. A fantastic mid-tour stop....delicious food, great hospitality, and a relaxing break in the middle of the mountains. Highly recommend!

I will be honest... If you are looking for something off the grid and a nice quiet enjoyable place... This is it... We planned for one night stayed two.. the casitas have what you need and the food is authentic and tasty... Given how they have to bring everything up here the prices are fair and the service has been excellent ... Staff will make sure you are taken care of. This is owned by a family and I honestly don't know nicer more wonderful people .. thanks Hunter, Diego, Rosario and especially Olympia for making us feel like family...

Spent about an hour here as apart of our ATV tour. It’s an absolutely beautiful property with the most delicious mojito I’ve ever had. The breakfast was phenomenal and the tequila tasting was fun and informative—we took two bottles home! Already including this place in out next visit to PV.

We spent a beautiful day with some friends at Rancho Mí Abuelo. Some of the best traditional MX food I’ve eaten after 2 years of living here, a top notch mariachi band, tasty cocktails, and cool freshwater pools fed by the river. Kind attentive service (in English too). Everything was very well done. Quality all the way. It was Sunday so the pools got busy in the afternoon. They said they have fewer guests during the week, but likely also no mariachi band. Highly recommended.

This place exceeded pur expectations! My husband and I went there on a RZR rented in Puerto Vallarta. We didn't know what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised by this cozy and tranquil spot. We didn't have much time to stay, so, we'll definitely come back! House tequila was delicious. Sadly, the internet wasn't working and they couldn't process our credit card... we wanted to buy a bottle, but didn't have enough cash on us... Other than that, the place is a gem!

Went to this place by Fat Wheel Electric bike. Git introduced to the owners where the wife and the kitchen cook showed us how to make corn tortilas and then tasted various tequilas. Afterward we had lunch and toured the facilities. It is very accommodating and very relaxing with lots of poos and hammocks.

Nestled in the hills above Puerto Vallarta it is a beautiful paradise. We were part of an ATV tour and stopped for a cold drink and a rest. We made our own tortillas and someone in our tour made fresh salsa in molkajete bowl. Great little snack while we tasted some amazing boutique tequilas. A walk through the jungle down to the pools in the river was amazing. The beer was cold and the margaritas frozen. Cold drinks, friendly knowledgable staff in a beautiful atmosphere. EXCELLENTE!

We went here while on a 4 wheeler tour up the mountains. Nice place enjoyed the nice cold drinks, homemade tortillas and salsa made right on the spot. Very nice tequila tasting as well. Would definitely go back.

Bonito lugar para pasar un buen rato

El lugar es bastante agradable, la comida es rica, pero con costos muy elevados. El servicio bastante regular, son amables, sin embargo, en mi visita nos llevaron los alimentos incorrectos e incompletos, perdieron parte de nuestra cuenta y tuvimos que estarlos buscando en varias ocasiones

Aunque ya lo hicieron un restaurante más turístico que nada y elevaron bastante los precios si lo recomiendo…. La verdad es un lugar agradable y aunque la llegada de extranjeros siempre infla los precios locales siento que este lugar lo vale

Pues en si es un negocio que tienen entre los que rentan las cuatrimotos y ellos osea rancho mi abuelo supuestamente es una parada obligada pero dependiendo delo que hayas acordado en la renta de las motos en ellos están ahí para darte una plática de como y donde se originó el tequila y el mescal y te venden lo que tú quieras llevar Negocio redondo

Fuimos solo al restaurante, está muy bien todo, un poco elevado los precios pero se entiende por su ubicación. Aún así regresaremos.

La pase muy bien la parrillada muy buena la cerveza fría. Conección a internet. Todos muy amables la verdad . Un bello paraiso para disfrutar en familia

Es un lugar al aire libre, techado pero abierto. Es un lugar agradable, tiene una pequeña piscina. Fui entre semana y no había mucha gente, así que estaba muy tranquilo. La comida no está mal pero está hecha (como ya casi todo en Puerto Vallarta) para extranjeros.

Very nice, very cold pools of clear, clean stream water. Nicely landscaped grounds with comfortable lounges and hammocks. The food too was very good though rather pricey. The staff was ill equipped to extend their niceties to someone like myself who arrived in a pretty overheated state after a 5 mile walk in the mid day sun. Best to arrive by ATV with a loaded wallet. Also the music at times was annoyingly loud and disruptive of the otherwise peaceful natural settinf.

The whole area is overwhelmed by rtv's. With a empty parking lot and a huge amount of parking these rude tour guides decided they should block in our car and make us wait until they felt like moving all these rtvs so would could leave. Extremely rude behavior. They had a very small tour and did not need to be so obnoxious

Muy limpia el agua

El servicio fue bastante bueno, el ambiente y lo bonito del lugar es indiscutible, sin embargo la comida fue una gran decepción. Era la primera vez que ibamos y lamentablemente no consideramos regresar. Los precios no son razonables, lo serían si al menos la comida estuviera buena. El menudo no estaba bien lavado, tenía pelos. Las tortillas frías. El café americano muy ácido. Los chilaquiles frios, sin sabor, eran rojos pero no tenían salsa. La birria carecía de ese sabor característico.

Muy lindo lugar pero se exceden en sus precios, te cobran para entrar aunque consumas, y sus alimentos no son tan buenos para el excesivo precio que tienen.

Es la primera vez que visitaba este lugar, esta lindo!! Yo creo que era muy temprano!! Pedi jococoque malisimo como que se estaba hechando a perder, me lo cambiaron, disminuyó el sabor, le dije a la chica que seguía malo (obvio no para que no lo cobraran) que de hecho aunque sea veo la forma de ofrécele otra cosa al cliente (lo que dijo la chica) asi es asi lo hacemos aqui! Entonces porque disminuyo el sabor? Bueno total dije es netaaa!!! Me dice si, este no es comercial!! Aunque fuera verdad tienen que checar!! Si tambien he comido joqueque en localidades asi!! $145.00 poco y malo!! Moraleja pidan probar un poquito antes de pedir!! 🫤👎 el lugar es lindo!!!

Está un poco retirado, el espacio al llegar es atractivo, en días anteriores vimos un letrero: buffet 🤔 pero al llegar nos dimos cuenta que no lo manejaban ya, están buenos los productos, pero 🤨 nos decepcionamos pensamos que sería agradable invitar luego a nuestros familiares que su alimentación es variable, no vimos en la carta mucha variedad, lo que nos gustó mucho fué la actitud de un mesero, siempre muy positivo, además el mariachi nos permitió cambiar nuestra perspectiva, el contar con aguas de manantial que caen a las alberquitas está bien!

*** si tu idea es desaparecer del mundo digital por medio día, adelante, pero no olvides avisar antes donde estarás, porque no hay señal de celulares y el wifi del lugar no es para los clientes, si hay, pero te dirán que no hay suficiente señal o que no hay wifi, dependiendo de a quien le preguntes *** El lugar es como todos estos ranchos de la zona, donde ofrecen servicio de desayunos o comidas, con la oferta de pequeñas piscinas de agua de manantial, gracias al río que está cerca. Tienen menú a la carta y 2 paquetes. El primer paquete en $185 mxp por persona y menores de 11 años $155 mxp; incluye desayuno con huevos al gusto o chilaquiles sencillos con jugo de naranja o café y la entrada a las albercas. El segundo paquete es de $395 mxp por persona con carne asada, limonada o naranjada o refresco y el juego de gotcha (paint ball) con 100 cápsulas de pintura por persona. El café muy rico, el desayuno 😐 sin mucho chiste. La salsa de los huevos rancheros y de los chilaquiles sin sabor, la carne que acompañaba a los chilaquiles especiales, muy dura y difícil de masticar. Considera que si pides a la carta y no pagas el paquete, tienes que pagar $50 mxp por adulto y $30 mxp por Niño y las 3 piscinas qué hay son pequeñas y para el público en general, no puedes apartarla para que solo tu familia esté ahí, por lo que te recomiendo llegar temprano para tomar buen lugar si tu objetivo es ir a la alberquita. El gotcha solo cuenta $180 mxp persona con 100 cápsulas de pintura y $300 mxp por 200 cápsulas. Muy divertido para grandes y chicos. Pedimos la cuenta y nunca la llevaron, hasta que después de 40 min decidimos acercarnos a preguntar nuevamente por la cuenta y pagar directamente en el bar. Nota: en la cuenta viene que te sugieren el 10% del servicio, pero no te ponen el precio de tu consumo, sino el precio donde ellos ya han agregado el 10% de servicio; por lo que si tú no lo notas sumarás otro 10% más de propina. Si pagas con tarjeta de débito o crédito debes saber que te cobran 4% más adicional.

El servicio empezó bien al inicio, sin embargo notamos un poco de desprecio al llegar otras mesas, pero esperamos que solo fuera nuestra idea, al pedir la cuenta tuvimos que ir personalmente a solicitarla ya que no la traían 😓

The fajitas we had were actually quite tasty, but they tried to up charge us on a double margarita after I specifically said the small one. The waitress said “oh you didn’t say what size” … so apparently that means sell us the larger one. The prices are 100% tourist prices. Almost $10 for a small marg!

This had the potential to be a fun stop on our ATV tour. The history and tortilla making adds to the ambiance. The tequila tasting was fun and what we were poured was some very good stuff- good enough that we brought a couple bottles home. However, food-wise, they charged us almost $200 for a sampler platter that was a $75 plate at best. While tasty, the price gouging was very disappointing and I'm now a bit worried that the Tequila we brought home probably isn't what we tasted there... we will know soon

The food here was amazing, the people were friendly. My issue was that I was incredibly overcharged! We did a tequila tasting (artisanal tequila, worth the trip) and I purchased a bottle of the aged tequila. I was told the bottle was $55. For lunch (consisting of Carne asada quesadillas, French fries, 1 mango margarita and a bottled water, I wascharged $195! Outrageous!

Very bad experience...I bought a bottle of tequila from the guy giving the tour. He said our tour guide would have the bottle for me at the end of our atv trip. Upon arriving back from our trip the guided hands me a different bottle than what I paid for. Not what I wanted! Was able to get I touch with them but they gave me the run around. Had to go through all types of bs to get my money back! No customer service at all. It's a stop at the atv excursion but don't buy anything not even water!
