If you don’t want to be surrounded by young children, do not go as we did at 19:30!! After they left our evening began. Lovely table at the front, beautiful views & a good looking menu. The service was ok; mid range & the food was good but not compared to the cost. Certainly everything presented well in the plate & tasted good. However the sharing prawns dish we had with drinks, whilst delicious in flavour, the prawns were sadly overcooked. It was disappointing that the crispy panko prawns were 2 not 3, for the price it should be 3. The Thai noodle salad with it I liked & ate, my husband did not enjoy that element of the dish. The lamb bulgar salad main was very good, lamb pink, but too large a portion for 1. The miso blackened salmon whilst nice was not as good as it ought to have been, slightly overcooked too. Overall impression was nice place, nice enough food but over priced for what we had and the experience was not as good as expected.

Fui lá com um grupo de 7 pessoas, para comemorar um aniversário. A comida é muito boa, o ambiente também, mas o serviço... É o primeiro local deste nível de preço que não aceita American Express por causa das taxas (no nosso grupo havia um casal francês e isto foi dito textualmente pelo funcionário). Ah, e também é o único restaurante onde alguma vez fui onde não permitiram o bolo de aniversário que levavamos, ou cobravam taxa de rolha de 5€ por pessoa!

Nos meus comentários, tento dar uma opinião justa em termos positivos ou sugestões para que outros possam desfrutar dos locais visitados. No U&CO, confesso que foi a pior experiência que tive até hoje e foi também a primeira vez que me levantei, sem ser propriamente atendido. Aliás, fomos atendidos, mas por uma equipa completamente desorientada, com bastantes falhas e apenas com alguns clientes na sala. Destaco o desprezo de alguns colaboradores, nomeadamente uma rapariga de preto, talvez por sermos portugueses (infelizmente não gostaria de o referir), até porque um casal de estrangeiros que chegou cerca de 15 minutos à mesa depois de nós, foi imediatamente atendido e servido. Até quando saímos, podia ter havido algum tipo de interpelação, mas não. Não dou a pontuação mínima, pois efectivamente não experimentei a comida, mas ficámos com vergonha, de haver no Algarve um tipo de serviço destes. Talvez tenha acontecido só connosco, mas não nos sentimos bem e não darei o benefício da dúvida.
