I had lunch here on Feb. 15, 2026, and had a good experience. The wait time was about 10 minutes so I decided to eat at the bar since there was a spot open. I had an omelet with avocado that was really good. I also had a side of fruit and grits. All in all it was a good experience.

Came here for the first time while I was on a business trip in Amarillo. It was a bit crowded but I was seated right away. The waffles were fabulous but the grits were a little off. The service was great I would come back.

I have loved the food I have eaten from Jimmy's Egg. The food is all seasoned well. The flavored pancakes are out of this world tasty. I am going to keep tasting my way through the menu. Today my only complaint is that I do not think the breakfast I ate today was worth $14. It was the chorizo and egg tacos. It was more chorizo than egg or pico and they were small. I upgraded the side to bacon cheese grits but they were small as well and not worth the upgrade. It all tasted good but they did not warrant the price.

Time it right and you'll have the best experience. Went yesterday (Saturday) for breakfast whilst in town for an exam at PearsonVue, which is 10 minutes walk away from Jimmy's. We never been in one for these franchises before and it was on a whim that we ended up testing out the venue. Long line of people waiting to be seated is a testament to popularity and great food. There is one slight issue with the queuing system, there is no system, it's a scramble. Maybe a note should be displayed to inform the unwary what the process is: put your name on the list, be called forward. But that system would only work if there was a waiting area without blocking off the entryway. We decided to have bar seating for which there was no waiting. From there on the experience was great. There is a good selection of menu items to satisfy all appetites, the presentation is great and the food is plentiful. The prices are good for the area and the service was quick and attentive. We shall be back whenever in town.

wait 10 mins to even be acknowledged by a server to take my order. looking around the place seemed clean. the servers are way more interested in thier phones than in the customers. the food was delicious as always but it took forever to get.

Food was good, waitress was nice. I sat at the bar and it took 6 minutes before anyone attended me. From siting down to getting my food 34 minutes passed. Considering all they had to make was a omelette cause all the sides where premade and sitting waiting to be plated I feel it took way to long. Now it was Sunday after church and it was packed. Probably won’t come back at same time or day of the week.

Rough experience and so disappointed. We have been eating at this location every Saturday. The last 2 Saturdays the waitstaff has been slow and take forever to get drinks. Standing around talking and going out back to smoke I guess. The food has been slow to come out and/or cold, today my eggs weren’t even cooked correctly. Management doesn’t even seem to care. Guess we need to find somewhere else to spend our money for breakfast on Saturday mornings!

Terrible service it took a party of 4 more than 1 hour to get our food and when we got it was cold. The waitress didn’t bother to check refills we asked for silverware and never got it, also one of the plate was incomplete. The waitress didn’t bother to stop at our table once to make sure we were doing good.

We wnt in about 1pm. The person who sat us acted like we were an inconvenience. She walked over by a table and pointed with her pen for us to sit down. The waitress, Alexis was rude. We were not ready when she first came by, then it took her quite sometime to return to the table to take our order. After she brought the food, she never came back to check on us. I had to stop her and ask for butter. She never said anything to us, even when she brought the bill. When she seen the card with the bill, she did say I’ll be back. When she came back she did say thank you, but that appeared to be an effort. I should also note that there was only, maybe one or two other tables with customers in the entire restaurant. The food was good except for the grits and no butter on the one piece of bread that was served with the breakfast.

Was not given silverware. When it came it was dirty. Food took 40 minutes to hit the table. Kids pancakes were cold and missing whipped cream that was included in the menu description and my wife’s plate came out minutes after everyone else’s. Was excited to try this place because I had heard great things but was extremely disappointed.

We went this morning for breakfast and the service was terrible. The waitress didn't even come over until we reached out to the hostess after 20 minutes. Then her only comment was "We having coffee?" She never checked on us and refilled drinks once. I noticed she was never at her other tables either. It's like she just didn't care. Food was ok. Nothing amazing. Scrambled eggs were scorched and dry. The eggs Benedict were undercooked with very runny whites.
