Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Pizza Pit delivers to the Bar and they now take credit cards. We met here for our a High School Reunion after party and the place was very accommodating. Nice place to socialize with friends with a full bar and restaurant service at your disposal.

It's well worth staying until 10:30 for the pizza pit slices. Lots of drinks at moderate prices and good waitress service. I love the low key environment over the other bars on Welch because of the music volume, I can actually have conversations. Definitely one of my top 3 bars

Good drinks, quick friendly service. Love that I can order pizza pit from my bartender and get it a couple minutes later. Reasonably priced. Good music and a laid back atmosphere. I am no longer in college and I feel like I can actually go here without feeling like I'm out of place.

My favorite bar in Campustown - It's a sit-down place that's​ rarely too busy for comfort. It doesn't blast music or attract the act-like-an-idiot college students. It's​ just a good place to go if you need a place to meet up with friends

One of the best bars in town! Great beer and service. Low-key. Best place to sit down with friends and have a conversation. Plus you can order food from pizza pit upstairs and they with bring it to you. Cash only on drinks though. EDIT: They just started accepting cards!

Great experience! Was brought here by a friend who had attended Iowa State and came here regularly. Solid beer selection, and although they were busy - they still helped me choose a beer. Weird that their rotating beer selection takes so long to cycle through though - it was hard to read them. So just go talk to the bartender. They also sell t shirts for $18.

Great place to go for drinks. On Thursdays when people are out for mug night, it's nice to go to Welch. It isn't as crowded, and they have cheaper top shelf. Multiple pool tables for people to use, Foosball tables, plenty of seating, and later at night they bring pizza from upstairs for dollar slices. You can also order from pizza pit for full pizzas or bread sticks if you want to. Be warned that they don't do cards here. But there is an ATM at the back, and if you have US Bank, there is an ATM for them not too far away. There isn't a live dj either, but the music that is played is usually pretty good. This isn't a party bar, but it's a good place to go if you're wanting to hang out with friends and actually hear what each other has to say.

Cheap drinks and decent pool tables! Always a great chill spot for casual drinking and pool with good friends. Food from Pizza Pit (which is upstairs) is always good too! You can order Pizza Pit food from Welch Ave and have it delivered to your table. My friends and I try to make Welch Ave station a weekly thing now.

This is the chillest and best bar on this side of town. The music is never too loud to hear people talk, they've got mostly friendly bartenders and wait staff, and an awesome selection of beer with some pretty awesome specials. It can get really busy here sometimes and ordering drinks, especially with your waiter/waitress, can take a while. But if you avoid the surges by coming on an off night it's a pretty great place. I've spent many many night's here enjoying company with friends.

One of the best bars on Welch Ave. It has a much better variety and quality than most of the other bars on the street. Nice place to go if sitting and kidding around with friends is how you like to spend your nights. There are a few pool tables and some arcade games. You can even order food from the restaurant, Pizza Pit, from the bar. Only downsides is that when it's a busy night it gets very hard to get from one end of the bar to the other and getting the food can take a while sometimes.
