We love eating here especially with the current all you can eat sushi special. The servers are great and the food is great as well. We've been here 3 times in the last month and a half. We look forward to more visits

I came here alone on Christmas Eve to have All You Can Eat. I appreciated the pace that my orders arrived, and that everything showed up in the proper order.

The all you can eat was a bit more expensive than usual but the quality definitely made it worth the extra. Plus they had tons of sashimi options. I would 100% go back again and I will soon 🙌

I really liked this place when it was Aburi. I love it now that it is Aikan. The old management team is doing an amazing job. My sushi was better than ever. Their service is impeccable. We did AYCE and it was extremely fast and efficient. They have a perfect selection of rolls, specialties and premium sushi. Honestly you can go wrong here. I really like the AYCE because they make the rolls shorter and you can try more variety. I ate about 35 pieces of sushi, equals almost 6 standard rolls, (+ Gyoza). I got my monies worth.

Great food, great service, long wait sometimes 😮‍💨 but it's worth it. One of the best sushi places in all of California.

The food and service is great, the parking not so nice. If their lot is full, you'll need to park a bit further because the other businesses are pretty hostile. Bravo Aikan Sushi for the amazing dinner 🙌🏽

One of the best sushi spots I've ever been to, if not the actual best... It's probably great for sushi lovers but die hard sushi addicts - this place has got to be on your to-do list.

This place has great sushi options for lunch menu and a bit cheaper comparing to dinner menu. They have "no rice" roll options. I wish we could order more for the premium menu because they were so good. The service was really fast. Their sashimi options were limited. Sushi fish quality were fresh. We paid +$2 for fresh wasabi.

Nice and good quality sushi buffet! I really love that they are actually serving amazing ebbi which is itself $17 worth!! Will come back again 🥰

Really hit the spot. Can't wait to go back. Sushi is incredible but don't overlook the ramen. Can order half portion of ramen and ayce rolls are half size so you can try a lot

Check in through yelp helped us get a table pretty quickly. The rolls were very tasty with fresh ingredients. The service from our server was great and food served really quick. A place I would definitely recommend 😌

They finally open for dine-in and we absolutely loved their food! Their AYCE lunch is $24.99 and dinner is $28.99 They have other premium items during dinner that they don't have for lunch and we've gone both times and I think it's worth it. Would come back again!

Fast service and good quality. This sushi restaurant is not like other all you can eat sushi restaurant as they have sufficient servers to take your orders or serve you. Food is great with a lot of choices. All you can eat sushi is about 33 - 36, depending if you want premium or the basic one. It was busy when I got there, and I waited for about 40 mins.

S

Man oh man yummmmmmmy and so fresh. Clean, fast, and tasty. King of best AYCE! Little rice, fabulous premium options, delicious premium toro options, amaebi and uni sushi mmmm, fresh nigiri, juicy refreshing crudo, crispy fried appetizers, and great attentive service. What more do you want or need! (Maybe more premium haha) Anyway, you guys ROCK!! So good must spread the word but also a bit selfish because I want to keep this not so secret, secret! Will probably come back sooner than expected because so so yum. Drooling writing this!

I usually stay away from multipurpose restaurants, and especially all you can eat! But my friend insisted we go here so I gave it a shot. Quite impressed! I didn’t get the ramen so can’t speak on that, but we did get the sushi. We had a table of six & my buddy put in a massive 1st round of orders. The salmon & tuna were pretty fresh, and the baked sushi rolls were also fantastic! The oysters tasted very good, but the best part was the fried softshell crab. That was a favorite amongst our table. My personal favorite were the Shishito peppers. Omg so good. The food was a little overwhelming due to how much we ordered, but we managed to eat it all! The service is most excellent. We did not have a problem flagging down a server at any time. They were attentive & efficient, so a major plus to the staff here! They were also quite friendly so expect to be treated well here. Fyi, it can get a little busy so please be advised. Parking is probably a bad thing because it is a small lot and it’s pretty much always full. We park down the street in the neighborhood. Do not park in other plaza, you will get towed! I’m not really a sushi guy but the food here was quite excellent. There will most likely be a long wait time so make sure to order enough in the 1st round! We didn’t have an issue, everything came out super fast. Overall a very decent spot for sushi! Don’t expect an omakase experience here lol, this is not the place for that.

C

Food is good, repeat customer. We always go back for the Ramen Combo - 19.99 for Ramen + Basic Sushi or Appetizer. We orders 2 Ramen Combos and an Appetizer, paid 68 (includes tip) Service has always been quick and kind. Second dining room music was just playing a little too loud, which made it hard to have conversations.

g
gomarketingsuccess dotcom

I'm starting with some warning so don't be like me! 1. Do not get overly excited and try to order many in 1 round. 2. Order the one that you can eat 3. If possible go with large group 4. Don't try to stuff yourself or you become sick Ok well all my warnings are done so go ahead and enjoy ayce sushi! 😁

Delicious fresh fish and incredibly fast service. There was 6 of us who were very hungry. Compared to other all you can eat sushi places the service was incredibly fast and the servers were so polite. Can't beat the quality and service for the price.

A
Ardria Crawford

Service was excellent the fool was good more food than you could ever eat. The menu items are all you can eat and saw the drinks as well with the exception of the alcohol. The only thing that's the downside is they don't have enough parking. Also like the music that was played during while I was eating and also big screen TVs on the wall all around I would definitely recommend it to anybody that loves sushi

A
Airmett

The service was extremely fast. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Sunday night which was amazing. When something was still being made the waitress told us without us having to even ask. The ramen was surprisingly good for ramen at an ayce sushi place. It could stand on its own at a ramen restaurant even. All sushi held its shape well - nothing was falling apart. I was a big fan of the no rice rolls and the seared tuna roll. Better than Sake2me.

B
Billy Badass

Very satisfied with the food and service!! I will definitely return. A little pricey but well worth the money. Friendly staff, quick service. Delicious food!***A word of advice...If you want a good experience here...please arrive early to find parking. When we left there was absolutely no parking available for anyone arriving.***

The Nigiri was delicious. The service was on point. Very professional, friendly, present without being intrusive. Very lively atmosphere.

One of my top favorite sushi places of all time. Fish is super fresh tasting and they have tons of sushi options. I’ve had sushi places all over but this place is by far the best value for taste + price. We went with 8 guys and ate ALOT of sushi. We were all super impressed and a lot of us are pretty picky when it comes to food. The raw fish was incredible, and the rolls were super good as well. I like to judge a place by their California roll as well, and their California role was bomb. I also judge a place by their raw fish and their salmon was next level.

C

Great food and can't beat an all you can eat sushi. Everything was fresh and tempura cooked prefect. Added to my list of favorite sushi spots.

S

Third time here and the food never disappoints. Service is great and it’s fast. If you’re in the area and have an appetite, the all you can eat here is the best!

F

Food was wonderful. Service was perfect. The only cons to this place is the very small parking. And it tends to be loud inside. But once you start eating, everything just fades away. Best. Sushi. Anywhere.

C
Christopher Bloch

Excellent all you can eat sushi!!! From the poke to the sashimi to the hand rolls to the premium rolls it was all great! They also have all you can drink beer and sake for like $13 so I couldn't think of a better place to go out with friends for great food and drinks as a pre game for whatever. Right now they are offering a special for $1 pint of Sapporo. When we went they weren't offering any Uni because of the weather affecting the availability which honestly to me is a good sign because it means they use fresh ingredients. They also charge extra for changing up the roles in some cases for example we paid extra to get cream cheese added and some other things subtracted from some roles but they did make accommodations.

It was my first time trying this place and for a party of two on a Friday night we didn't have to wait at all, it was around 6:00 pm. Ordered the regular tier and we were very pleased with all the options that were included, all the food we had was amazing the sashimi, Ramen, squid legs, and plenty of sushi rolls to try baked, fried and regular. The service was amazing our server was always checking in on us during the two hours time limit. Would definitely recommend and come back or try other locations.

V
Victor Gurrola

A little noisy for me, but it's worth the effort. The service is great and friendly. The sushi is fresh and well plated. My wife and I usually only manage one round, but it's still a great value for the quality and selection you get!

Review Title: Fresh, Flavorful, and Great Value! Overview If you’re looking for a spot where you don't have to compromise quality for quantity, this is it. This all-you-can-eat experience exceeded my expectations with its variety and freshness. The Food Nigiri & Sashimi: The fish-to-rice ratio was spot on. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, especially the salmon and tuna, which had a buttery texture that you don't always find at AYCE spots. Specialty Rolls: The rolls were the highlight. They were beautifully plated and held together perfectly. Even the more complex rolls with different sauces and toppings weren't overly heavy, allowing us to try a wide variety. Taste: Everything was solid. From the spicy tuna to the tempura-based rolls, the flavors were balanced and clearly made-to-order. Service & Experience The service was efficient, which is crucial for an AYCE setting. The kitchen kept the dishes coming at a steady pace, and the staff was helpful with recommendations. Verdict A great destination for a hungry group of friends or a casual dinner. Every roll we tried was tasty and well-executed. I’ll definitely be coming back for another round!

BEST ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI it a bit pricey if you go weekends but for a birthday/ special day it’s soooo worth it everything is so delicious. I personally recommend the baked salmon roll the oysters, the two piece no rice, sushi, and the salmon.

Last time I came here was several years ago and at the time, this place had different owners. I had the chance to come here recently and it was evident that the ownership had changed. The interior looked quite different as did the workers and people in charge, right down to the layout of the menu and display. On a Saturday afternoon, we were seated without any wait time and were charged for dinner prices (even though it was 3 pm, what the HECK), but they made up for this in the quality of the food and the quality service. Everything about the rolls, sashimi, appetizers, etc was impeccable and left my friends and I wholly satisfied. No complaints whatsoever. The server we had was also really kind to us and respectful and one of the workers was nice enough to roll down the blinds as we were sitting in front of the window and the sun was glaring in. Overall great experience, I can't wait to come here again next time I am looking to do AYCE sushi

Amazing place.. My friend has brought me here twice and it's been amazing both occasions. My favorite is the broiled muscles. Amazing.. can be slightly loud, but the food is terrific and the service is very good. Hope you will enjoy it.

Had a waitress who was really professional. Didn't bother us with a how's everything going non sense lol. Great food, short wait if busy, quality is perfect. Oh and the price for all you can eat can't be beat for what you get.

I gave 5 star for sushi AYCE category. I highly recommend to choose the premium choice just a few Dollars more. The premium sushi pieces are tastier. Traditional sushi varieties are delicious. The raw fish appetizers look really good but not unique. They are so so. Other generous tapas are delicious too. Not to mention the rolls, they are delicious bit we surrendered and canceled what we ordered because we are so full and do not want to stuff ourselves. Aikan is a must try sushi AYCE, I am sure to come back here.

It's aburi with a different name. They were actually changing the name while we were eating. The food is about the same or exactly the same, but the quality wasn't up the par tonight. Uni was not fresh, live shrimp wasn't very lively tasting. The sauces on the sushi didn't have any taste. Maybe they just didn't add enough. Service was great and fast!

All you can eat sushi it's really good but make sure you go hungry cause if u have any leftover its a $1 a roll so ponganse las pilas 🤣

We went on Tuesday 2/22 and it was our first time there. We had just missed lunch time (3pm - Closing is Dinner). There are 2 Options A & B. Option B is Option A plus 8 more items. In the 1st round it's free, but after that you have to pay extra for these items: Soft Shell Crab, Unagi Donburi, Salmon & Roe Bowl, Salmon Toro, Yellowtail Toro, Ama Ebi, Uni, and Oyster. We had a bad experience at another AYCE Sushi place, so this time we planned it out better so we wouldn't have a stomach ache after lol I recommend the Karaage Fried Chicken, Gyoza, Eel Hand Roll, some of the Classic Sushi they have (Eel, Tuna, Salmon and Albacore) DEFINITELY recommend the Pacific Roll I don't recommend the Poke Sashimi, the Philadelphia Roll or the Beef Yaki Udon. For 3 people and no extra stuff our bill was around $130.

A
Amy Beall

Aburi has a great selection of sushi at an affordable price. This was my first visit and I chose the Pacific roll for the gluten-friendly option (skip the sauce that comes with it - at this time, it isn’t gluten-friendly). The rest of my group had the Tiger roll, Philadelphia roll, and Rainbow roll. We loved all of it! The sushi rice was flavorful and just sweet enough to complement the sashimi. The take-away included two wasabi and two ginger containers for five rolls so ask for more if you are a huge fan of either. The online ordering through the PostMates plug-in was super easy. Even though we are still under COVID restrictions, the restaurant was busy when we picked up the order. We will definitely return!

NJZ B

It’s not 5 due to the wait (40min.), since it’s super popular. But it was worth every penny. Their quality is pretty high for AYCE. The male server we had was very professional and quick. So we had to tip him extra extra for him being so efficient and accurate. I never had to ask servers one thing twice—that’s pretty impressive especially in these days ;)

W
WillP

You can't go wrong with all you can eat. Their selection of sushi is great, the quality is good. Now parking is bad, hard to find parking

Y
Yolo Frank

For all-you-can-eat lovers, this place offers great value when it comes to quality and options for sushi. I tried a variety of dishes and none disappointed. There’s a limit to how many premium items you can order, but that wasn’t a big problem as there are so many items to choose from. The jalapeño shrimp was surprisingly pleasant. The flavor of the sauce reminded me of the green hot sauce you’ll find at certain Mexican taco shops. I thought this was very unique and is definitely a must-try. The restaurant has an open layout and modern decor. Parking was easy because of the dedicated lot.

L
La Familia Primero

Although it's a all you can eat ,they don't allow you to share. Order big the 1st round cause they only bring 3 pieces of sushi 🍣 any items not eaten they will charge you extra

M
Maxwell Myers

Just came for the ramen, best part was the chasyu pork! Ramen broth wasnt wowing, but tasty. I have to comment on an odor coming from the lobby. Not sure if it was from the fish, but it hit me pretty hard.

R
RD

What was formerly the Filipino turo turo DJ Bibingkahan, now a AYCE sushi spot is an interesting shift in the plaza. Aikan is a decent place for lunch AYCE and no need to go premium IMHO just because the selection of the premium items doesn't seem worth it to me. But for the regular AYCE, the selection is pretty fair and pretty tasty. Service was pretty quick and the two hour dining experience is more than enough for a party of 4. Side note just because: The "poké sashimi" wasn't really poké but just seasoned sashimi. No need to call it poké. #fightme

Mediocre ayce sushi. Fish and appetizers were good. Shrimp was not so fresh. Service was a bit slow. They have 1 dollar beer promotion going on. Overall was a nice experience to dine here.

P
Paris Zhang

Tips: - Arrive before 11:30 AM if dine-in over the weekend, the restaurant gets busy after 1 PM. - If possible, go for the premium option (B) and start with all items on option B. - One round can go with 10 orders, not 5. - 3 ladies made 21 orders including all 10 from option B. - Option B > poke sashimi > most other items in Option A. - For shared item, they make a portion accustomed to your party size. - Specify smaller number of pieces for option A sushi, e.g., 3 pcs instead of 3 orders. Recommends: 👍Option B: - Salmon toro - Yellowtail toro - Oyster (sauce might be too plain) - Soft shell crab - Salmon row bowl - Unagi/eel donburi - Salmon egg - Uni 👍Option A: - Broiled mussel - Crispy squid legs - Takoyaki - Sushi: squid, surf clam - Spicy tonkatsu ramen (they have full & half portion) Maybe not: 👎Option B: - Mini chirashi - Ama ebi / sweet shrimp 👎Option A: - Shrimp & veggie tempura - Beef teriyaki - Sushi: seared tuna, spicy albacore, tamago In general this was a great experience. Option B was great, out waitress was friendly, attentive, and professional. Price was also great and the sushi bar was pleasant to view. However, I can’t give a 5 because option A sushi and shared plates were rather disappointing, and the restroom was way too unbearable.

J
Julia Chui

Happy hour is great here. I didn't order All You Can Eat, but ordered whatever I wanted. The servers were polite and the service was good. It was a shame that the interior was noisy and chaotic.

Vorence Shoshi
Vorence Shoshi

A good AYCE sushi spot, key notes are the good price (approx $42 on Weekends) the options, and the overall atmosphere. On the price: for AYCE sushi its fairly good, though my only other point of comparison is EATS sushi on Main st. and comparatively its only a few bucks cheaper. On the options: there are a good bevy of rolls and appetizers/sharables. Overall the flavor on most of the items were great, but a few options were a bit confusing and the spicy items were extra spicy so if you are up for spicy food they offer a good kick. Personal Recommendations are the Fried Oysters from the Shareables and the Albacore items from the no rice sushi, though a good honorable mention is the rose crunch roll from the signature rolls and the sando roll (I forgot the full name). The latter of the two from the signature rolls being an interesting concept that according to a sibling was very reminiscent of a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich despite not featuring any of the ingredients for one. A remark I found quite amusing and could somewhat see. Overall a nice gimmick item that I recommend giving a shot at least once. On the Overall Atmosphere: The Aesthetics are that of a modern sushi/diner. With darker colors and the american diner/bar fusion its a neat dining spot. Overall, this is a good AYCE sushi spot, the only issues I found were the lack of parking spaces, (the parking lot is kinda small given its popularity) and the service delivered our order to the wrong table once resulting in a longer than normal wait on some of our items.

Jo B
Jo B

Nice clean restaurant. Quick service, did the all you can eat option and liked that the rolls were small enough to enjoy many varieties. The no rice rolls & Poke Sashimi were the best in my opinion. All you can eat DOES NOT INCLUDE Beverages or desserts.

M K

Pretty decent for AYCE sushi. The items on the premium menu are good. Ramen was a bit salty but the beef over rice was delicious. Service was good, on the slower side.

I like this place. Lots of choices and quality food. Price high. Each person planning $50. But you can eat sushi and rolls and special menus too. Most times, line up and wait more than 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can order 3 times all you can eat menus.. 2 hours eating.

HoSeah Tripping
HoSeah Tripping

They have multiple locations and this review is specific to the Artesia location. It is next to a small mall but it's a standalone location with its own parking lot. Came here with a friend for lunch to enjoy their all you can eat sushi - it is about $ 30 and close to $ 40 with premium choices. You can order multiple times but if you have leftover, they charge you another $ 7 but you can take your leftover home. I prefer their approach of placing your choices on an order sheet & they bring it out. As opposed to having the sushi laid out on a tray behind a glass counter which can dry out the food & make it look less appetizing. The dining room was very clean & roomy and the staff was attentive & professional. They have a good variety of sushi, premium rolls & simple cut rolls and they were fresh. Standouts for me were the mackerel, sushi with crispy rice and eel. The shrimp sushi looked very attractive but tasted bland & not quite as fresh. All in all, good for a meet up with friends or a larger family gathering. Not a romantic spot by any chance :-)

M
M T

Ordered some sushi and bentos to go. I know it's their soft opening but it was very hard to order by phone. Wish there was easier online ordering. For their bento, the beef yakiniku looks like beef teriyaki. It tasted overcooked and hard to chew. Their sesame chicken looks like chicken karaage. It tasted good and very tender. Salad comes with two gyoza which was awesome. Overall bento was good but miso soup was too salty. Sushi and rolls...I think Sake2Me is still better in terms of freshness, taste, and texture. I would definitely come back to Aburi for non sushi stuff.

B
Bo Jean

This AYCE Sushi place is busy, and it serves many variety of Pokes, Sushi, hand rolls and cut rolls. Compare to Sake2me (where we used to go), the sashimi (the raw fish portion of the sushi) is smaller, and less in quality and freshness. The sushi rice was not well marinated/mixed with rice ginger, I was even served Sushi on wet plate with lots of water drops (just came out of dish washer I guess)

Really loud music..there was so much going on which made it hard to enjoy. The table setting was so narrow that every time a waiter passed by they bumped us which was irritating…the food was not all that… had the all u can eat sushi..

It was an okay sushi place. I do enjoy their ramen but we didn’t end up getting all the things we ordered. Price is a little higher for AYCE as well.

All you can eat sushi and ramen who can beat that. They have the best ramen broth hands down. Sushi was alright. But the service not so great. Every time we go their there’s always something wrong with the server and the bill. They need to work on the service more. It’s very nice and romantic for outdoor dining and indoor. You must come here at 5pm though or else you will be waiting in lines for hours. The indoor seating is limited. If only the service was good and price I would come back here again for the food. It’s not bad flavor but just a little bit too expensive for two people. We paid $89 just for two people and a infant. Infant didn’t count. If you going to order ramen don’t get too much sushi if you can’t finished or they will charge extra.

Parking was horrible, so we opted to order take-out as opposed to dining in for AYCE. A la carte was really pricey for the sashimi - especially since each piece was sliced extremely thin.. that was the biggest disappointment... the Ramen portion size was small.. when my order was ready, they didn't bother to let me know by phone, text, nor in-person (as I never left their sight, waiting at their entrance). Otherwise, everything else about this restaurant would've been decently rated with 4 stars. So to reiterate, this 3 star review is for Take Out as opposed to Dine In.

Tariff effect maybe? The portion is getting small like kids meal. Sashimi is so thin that you have to eat 4 pieces to feel like one sashimi. 😒 🤔 They should just raise a price instead of skimping. For $45 I expected little bit better. The kitchen items are decent 👌 👍 but that's about it.

Weekend-AYCE-Premium party of 5. Well...... the food quality was good & tasty, but in my opinion, the dish and food portion weren't matched; the plate itself was too large. There are not many spaces to put what we ordered because of the big plates; and they were very heavy. Some of our 1st orders came almost at the end of our time. Yes, the food quality was good, but mostly, we were like forced to put our orders and hurried to eat/empty the plates. Probably not gonna come back nor recommend it to friends. But, it was a good experience.

Premium sushi?? What's the point??The quality of sushi is not good compared to the price.I wonder if they care about the fish.. The sushi is so small that it doesn’t feel like I ate it.The staff service was friendly and very fast...but I can't recommend it.I went to watch a YouTuber broadcast... but I don't know. There are definitely differences in how people view food and their taste buds. Sushi is my favorite food and I've been to numerous sushi/roll restaurants..... It's right that buffet doesn't judge rolls.

I don't know how this place got so many 5 star reviews. It was my first time & I ordered take out. First of all, I ordered a chicken udon; which turned out be a more of a stir fry, and on the website it shows noodles in a bowl. The udon was delicious & my mom enjoyed it(hence the 2 stars instead of a 1 star). But usually when I ordered udon, it was noodles with broth - like at San Sai. So I would clarify on the menu that it's a stir fry or maybe have an option to have it with or without broth. Then there was the issue of the California & Tuna Roll, and as someone who lives in SoCal, I would not take people from out of state here for the Cali Roll. It was tiny & not properly packaged(see picture). I would get proper containers so that the rolls don't all over the place, b/c presentation is important. Even my mom asked me why the rolls are all over the place inside the container. Places like Ramen Hub in Long Beach or Oh Mama's Kitchen in Buena Park are some examples of places that do a much better job of packaging their rolls. Overall, would not come here again - it was a disappointing experience.

Very disappointed, sashimi small and not fresh. The plants didn't dry off; there was lots of water with food. Cost $36.99 lunch is not worth it

Went for the AYCE option A for dinner. First time here and was not impressed with the first 2 nigiris we ate. We ordered mackerel and yuzu tuna. At first I thought maybe it’s just the mackerel or tuna. But the color of tuna already lost its natural oils. The yuzu was nowhere in sight. Asked the server and he said it’s a sauce. I only tasted it on 1 of the 4 pieces. The server said he will ask but nothing happened after. Yuzu can come in a paste form. I think they used ponzu with yuzu flavor. I tasted it on the last piece of nigiri. Every nigiri we ordered after was dry. The only saving grace was the cooked dishes. We tried it all, garlic n chili edamame, baked mussels, veggie & shrimp tempura, agedashi tofu, all good except crispy squid(was over fried, and stale), salmon skin salad ( the skin had no crunch, soggy & still greasy, worse cooked dish). We had the spider roll- soft shell crab in the center, so that was good. The salmon was the only decent one so we ordered the salmon crunch roll. We tried the sashimi dishes, seared tuna, albacore w jalapeño, yellowtail and salmon. The seared tuna is peppered like steak, it was ok but again the fish was dry. The salmon had a cream sauce on it, it was sweet -sour taste and we weren’t sure if the sauce was soon-to-spoil. We’ve been to other AYCE like Aburi, at least there, the fish is good and never dry like these nigiris and sushi rolls. I almost wanted to walk out at first bite. But at least I got the ramen, the broth, the egg and pork tonkotsu was good. Towards the end of dinner, I looked at the bar area where the fish were stored, we noticed all the fish were pre-sliced. I know it’s AYCE and they need to keep up, but the timing matters. If they do this hours ahead, all the natural oils of the fish depletes, hence the dryness. The server was nice but he did forget our beer when all our first round dishes came out and we had to remind him. The other server gal was quick when we order the 3rd round and brought the beer right away and table runners quick to clean and remove dishes. Spent a little over $100 for 2. Most likely will not return. Parking was horrible too. The lot is small and if you park elsewhere next to the plaza, you will get towed. Signs of being towed is everywhere.

No drinks. AYCE. Five adults. 2 kids under 2. $57 each including gratuity. Parking is awful and the workers are smoking out back. The bathroom is also atrocious. Do not recommend.

First when we came in they told us the wait time was an hour and we ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. When we came in and ordered they would serve our food on one plate so we wouldn’t know whether we had 3 orders of tempuras out yet or not. We were a party of 6 so we ordered 70 salmon nigiris (this restaurant serves only one nigiri per serving so 70 is like 11 nigiris per person) When we got our nigiri it was literally so thin compared to how it normally should be. Honestly not worth the wait to get a piece of sashimi thinner than your finger packed with a bunch of rice underneath… You can only order a total of three times so when we were doing our second round of ordering they took literally 15 minutes for them to pick up the paper you write your order on so we just sat there for 15 minutes waiting for them to pick it up. This was an overall really disappointing experience and I just wish they wouldn’t try to scam their customers because I saw many customers who came in with decently large parties mostly on average 5 to 6 people. I saw a family of around 8 walk in in front of me and I can’t imagine what their experience must have been if our nigiri was this tiny with a party of 6. The first two photos is the thinner nigiris and the third is a (though still thin) “average size” nigiri.

We had high hopes for this place after seeing all of the reviews on Yelp and Google. And we were pretty disappointed after we left. We went on a weekday for lunch and ordered a bunch of sashimi. On the menu the picture of the sashimi that we ordered looked really good. But when the food came out, the slices were super thin and covered in sauce. It didn't look like the picture at all. My husband was really disappointed. I have some pics of the differences. We ordered some rolls and when the food came out everything smothered in sauce. The roles weren't rolled really tightly so every time we picked up a roll, it fell apart. The taste was just okay...it just tasted like sauce - which was mostly mayo. I think I liked one roll out of everything I chose and even that was weird- it was a scallop roll and there was cooked bell peppers in it with onions. Kind of odd but it wasn't bad. Service was okay. The server would come by periodically to see if we wanted more food but otherwise left us alone. Parking is in the back but you have to enter on the side of the building.

This is a horrible horrible place… We feel like this roll is from last week. We were so starving and finally rolls came. We ate one piece of them. Even though we were that hungry the roll was so bad.. We ordered salmon crunch roll and tiger roll. How bad? The shrimp tempura was too soggy like sponges and also the onion fries on the side were soggy too. We couldn’t tell if the tempura is in the middle of the roll at all because it’s too soggy and small. The eel from the tiger roll was only two tiny pieces and it smells spoiled. Even the seaweed is so soggy, we have to chew it a lot like a gum. It feels like this roll is already made a long time ago OR used very old seaweed. They didn’t give us enough sauce AND no chopsticks??? Can’t describe how annoyed we got.. Very disappointing, very upset.. Can’t imagine myself paying for this again, no more delivery here. We wasted our money.

Was seated promptly. Place is loud, then add large parties of cackling folks. We were first timers. Made selections and sat paper on table. Server got busy with a large party that sat besides us. We waited, and waited. Got up and left after 10 mins of the waiter walking by us. This was Saturday the 27th of Sept 2025 at 5.15pm. Won't attempt to try again.

Sauce. Everything here is swimming in sauce. Even the nigiri has some kind of sauce on it. The "fancy" nigiri that comes from Option B even has sauce on it.(something that usually never happens because that's usually the more premium cut of fish). Overall I would NOT recommend this to anyone who enjoys nigiri or the taste of fish. If you want to gorge on saucy and crunchy rolls this place is for you, but if you just enjoy fish and rice I'd recommend you stay far away from here. Also worth noting that their bathrooms are pretty disgusting, and in my brief time in there I encountered not one, but TWO employees who used the facilities and left without washing their hands. The only upside to this entire experience was that the wait staff was very nice and accomodating.

Not the Aikan it used to be. It's been a while since I had good experience at Aikan (a few years ago), so I gave it a try again to bring back the good memories. Well, not so much. The rice-to-sushi ratio was terrible, and fish didn't taste that fresh. We went with the premium AYCE, tried the premium sushi and variety of apps then regular sushi/rolls. As some others mentioned in their review, the fish portion was more on the tiny side, with a decent size rice. Most of the rolls we ordered looked sloppy (not holding it up its shape/falling apart). Fish temperature in general was on the warm side (as was the whole dining area), therefore some fish tasted a bit slimy. For $54.99/person, it was definitely not worth it, and I'm pretty sure I won't be back here no matter the price if they don't fix the quality issue. Giving one star for the good/attentive server. The high star reviews must relate to old reviews.
