Hands down my favorite place in the world, we try to come every year but it’s so hard to get reservations for the tubs.

I went here years ago with a friend & this place is the VIBE! There isn't another café such as this one! Can't wait to return! 🤎☕️

Couldn't get a reservation, so I decided to do a walking and get on the wait list for any no-shows. What I thought would be about a 25min wait turned to 10min! I definitely got lucky but suggest if you don't mind waiting in thr cute coffee shop and read a newspaper. Only $12.50 for 30min! CASH ONLY. Great service, friendly staff, well organized, well staffed for prompt service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AS A MUST DO IN ARCATA

Perfect spot done so well. The cafe is excellent. The tubs are exactly what they should be. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation! You won’t regret it.

woww what a cute little spot! I had a great experience 😌 The sauna was amazing and the area to sit was green and luscious. I enjoyed a matcha latte after the sauna and shower. I will definitely be back!!

This is not a spot to miss. Call a day ahead to reserve your hot tub or sauna. Please don't pee in the tubs, we're all adults here.

This place is a hidden gem! So relaxing and definitely will be back. They have private spas for couples and definitely worth checking out. Very affordable for what you get.

When I lived here I would go here all of the time, and love it! The tubs, saunas, coffee, live music, everything is a vibe. Wish they had places like this where I live now. Cafe Mokka is worth the visit!

Amazing! Be sure to call ahead to reserve your tub or sauna. Don't be like me and hope for a cancellation. I got lucky and had a private enclosed outdoor hot tub under a Cyprus tree all to myself. Whether or not you're a coffee purist, American, European, or have any other cultural background; go ahead and indulge in a house made mocha with 2 shots and the house whipped cream. I don't typically order sweet coffee but this was a very pleasant accoutrement to go with my soak. If you're going to be in the Eureka or Arcata area definitely give this place some time and stop on by. I can't wait to go back.

Highly recommend this place!! I was sore after hiking and camping and decided to check it out. It is super cute and I love the way the coffee house is designed. I didn’t have a reservation but was able to get hot tub appt within 90 min and they gave me wonderful recommendations on where to eat for lunch. This is a very special place and I will be back :) everyone was also super nice.

Step into a fairytale book in this fantastic coffee shop. Quality coffee, quiet garden with bonus hot tubs to relax in after. One of my favorites to visit when I am in the area.

Tubs are clean and safe grounds are beautiful and the cafe cute and quaint. I ordered an Italian sida it was not even cold or on ice and I think the flavor was wrong we also got a coffee it was OK but we didn't come for the drinks I guess it was the therapeutic jets and night sky that was all we needed.

Cafe Mokka is such a gem! Their hot chocolate is rich, creamy, and topped with the thickest whipped cream! Absolutely delicious. We also rented one of the private hot tubs and had the most relaxing experience. The atmosphere was cozy and unique, and the staff made everything so easy. Can’t wait to come back!

Have towel rental if you need it. Can’t ask for much more than enjoying a lemonade in the tub, feeling the sun on your face! The garden area is lovely as well and feels like something out of a fairy tale. Def recommend booking a day in advance as others suggested as it gets filled quickly! Cash only, and there is an ATM next door if you forget to bring it like me 😄

Great location! I really enjoyed the coffee I had the iced mocha, which was delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful and very charming, making it the perfect little getaway spot. I loved it so much and would highly recommend it. I suggest making a reservation in advance; I’ve also heard they prioritize in-person reservations made the day before over phone reservations.

They only take cash, I was fortunate I had done on me, so do t leave home without it! I had a double shot mokka ☺️, and am now seated to read the NYT and San Francisco Chronicle. Love it here!

Great café. I had an espresso and a brownie and a glass of delicious sparkling water. Cozy and peaceful room. The staff were having a good old time laughing and joking and honestly it was a welcoming environment to spend the afternoon writing. No wifi, but that's alright. I didn't know it's also a sauna and spa, I will have to try it next time. Thank you.

I wish we could have gotten a reservation for one of the tubs if we did more research beforehand, but just another reason to visit again!

There's also a wait-list in case someone drops out last minute but you'll have to wait on the premises. $13/person, and each tub can fit 6.

I absolutely love Cafe Mokka, we rented the hot tub for two people for an hour and it was amazing. It is reasonably priced and so peaceful and private. The hot tubs have a tall privacy fence so you feel secluded and you can see the stars from many the hot tub. You can turn on the jets and it makes for a very nice massage. Please note that it is Cash only. Only thing this place could improve on is accepting card - even if they charged a fee. I would have loved to buy a hot cocoa after we got out of the hot tub, but I didnt have any additional cash. Towards the end of the night the floor in the changing room is kind of wet so bring flip flops. They have an outdoor shower with both cold and warm water which is great. The soap smells and feels really nice on your skin. Would 100% come again!!

Cute and quirky spot, where you can get a great coffee and pastry, and also enjoy a private sauna or hottub (by reservation). Coffee shop is fun and the pastries were delicious.

Cafe Mokka is an absolute gem, its relaxing and the food is fantastic. I do wish they would upgrade their reservation system though. It takes away from the experience having to call in and fight for a spot. They should have day of spots and reservation spots with an online booking service. Unless you live close by its really hard to get in.

Love this place! They have large saunas to relax in with good coffee & fireplace. A. unique gem in Arcata!

A cute cafe but no indoor seating right now. They had a decent amount of options that were supplied by the Wildflower Cafe but I didn't see any gluten free options.

Really cool place! The hot tubs are magical and great for a rainy day. The cafe is beautiful as well. Hot chocolate with whipped cream is the best you’ll ever have. However, don’t get the soup and roll. The soup is from a box and steamed with the coffee machine, and the roll is store bought.

She asked us for our order and then started helping someone else without us paying or actually taking our order and everyonegot confused lol. So we didn't know what was going on and then she was like, oh wait, I'll take your order even though she already had. It was poor service in that she seemed to not know what she was doing but perhaps she was new. The beverages were good though and we had an enjoyable time sitting by the fireplace and playing a game. The atmosphere was definitely worth it, and I will give it another chance.

Rude waitress, stinky water outside. Mid coffee. We got our pup thinking they will allow her in their huge garden area they boast. The water was stinky and they said no because they have a cat who is in the garden. We stayed there for 1hr and didnt see any pet cat but some random cats near property on the road.

My husband and I regularly visit this place for the relaxing hot tub, and we’ve always enjoyed our time there. I often get a coffee on my way out because the whipped cream is amazing, and since I work nearby, it’s very convenient. Today, however, was a different story. After our hot tub session, I had about 15 minutes before I needed to pick up my kids, so I decided to grab a coffee as usual. Even when it’s busy, the wait time has never been an issue—until today. There were three employees on shift, but after two left, the remaining one seemed completely overwhelmed. She not only took care of the couple in front of me, but also prioritized several people who came in after us. She was constantly distracted, chatting and involving herself in other employees’ conversations, instead of focusing on the orders. After waiting 15 minutes, she finally started on my coffee but gave me something I didn’t order. When I pointed out the mistake, she seemed reluctant to remake it and instead kept offering the incorrect drink, even though I was clear about not having time to wait any longer. Ultimately, I left without a coffee, feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated. This experience really left a bad taste about the place, especially given how much we’ve enjoyed coming here in the past. It’s a shame that a single instance of poor customer service could make me question returning.
