One of the best pizzas I've ever tried, so flavorful
This place is definitely a mom and pop hidden gem in Sunland, CA. It’s tucked away in a small plaza with its own self-parking parking lot. I must say that it’s one of the best pizzerias that I have been to in such a long time. Definitely not your traditional pizzas, but more with true whole flavors. Its specialized gourmet pizzas and being cooked in a wood burning oven even better. There is seating inside as well as outside. They are also located across the street to the public park. I was invited here by one of my friends. She's gluten free and I have been wanting to try it for some time. She invited me to meet up here. I must say it's definitely a location to try and keep saved. Trying out the Gluten Free pizza was amazing. The pizza was so full of flavor that the dough itself I couldn’t even taste the difference to regular pizza. Oscar helped us out. He was great at explaining everything that goes on the pizza. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure that we were fully satisfied with our choices of pizzas. The vibe is cozy, casual, and they are very welcoming - especially if it’s your first time there. Being my first time here, Oscar made me feel as if I hadn’t been here in a while and gave me a feeling like I was missed. They use ingredients that are imported from Italy. They have several culinary awards and recognitions from ABC 7, Food Network, International Pizza Championship - Parma Italy to name a few and others. I tried That’s A 'More (Classic Pistachio Pesto - Bianca) Pistachio pesto, buttery creamy cheese, fontina, fresh mozzarella, Napoli sea salt, extra virgin olive oil, seasoned with oregano, thyme, and rosemary. I added garlic chicken. My friend ordered the Gluten Free All Fired Up! Smokey beef spicy pizza house made with BBQ sauce, hand crushed san marzano tomatoes, sweet peppers, onions, mozzarella, olive oil, and Himalayan salt. Next time, I’ll have to try the Tuscany and Bombay Tikka Masala. To my surprise, they are very flexible/accommodating for Vegan/Gluten Free crust options. They also have standard Halal meats. Overall, I can't wait to come back. This place is worth every cent!
Authentic Italian pizza. Food tastes really really good. Must try bulgogi and bumble bee pizza. Actually all the pizzas are great. Food: 100/10
786 Degrees is straight up the best pizza I’ve had in LA, no debate. I walked in hungry and walked out low‑key emotionally attached to their oven. Big shoutout to Chef Maria and Chef Jenny – honestly the nicest people. They’re super friendly, crack jokes, remember what you like, and somehow make you feel like a VIP even when the place is busy. The pizzas taste crazy authentic – that chewy, slightly charred crust, toppings that actually make sense together, and flavors that hit from the first bite. The chef special is dangerous… in a “I finished the whole thing and regret nothing” kind of way. If you love pizza and good vibes, this is the spot. If you don’t love pizza, come here anyway – they might change your mind.
Came here from a recommendation. Tried the Tikka Masala and El Chapo pizzas, both were really good! The staff was so nice and friendly too, we got free sodas for being first time customers. I'm definitely coming here again!
I had the New Yorker! Pizza was tasty, flavorful and a good balance of ingredients. Glad I ran into this place. I am from NY and am a hard sell on Pizza but this was very good. Nice thin crust too, sauce was great and soft, tasty crust around outside. Try them out!
Great service highly recommend this is definitely some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. I will 100% be back. kind workers that put heart into their craft. Also came out very quickly within 5mins of putting in my order I got a fresh pie
Had a great first experience here with some truly top-tier pizza. The service was well above excellent, shoutout to Brandon Meer, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout our visit. Since it was our first time, they generously offered complimentary drinks and even told us we could get a full refund if we didn’t enjoy the pizza. That level of customer care really stood out. We tried four pizzas: the Napolitana Margherita, Bombay Tikka Masala, El Chapo, and Bulgogi Gangnam Style. That’s also how I’d rank them, with the Margherita being the standout for me. The dough is something special, very unique and unlike any other pizza I’ve had. If it’s your first time, I’d recommend starting with the more classic options before venturing into the more creative ones. There’s a wide variety of flavors for all kinds of tastes, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more. Overall, I’d give this place an 8/10. With more visits and a few more pizzas to try, it could easily become a 10/10 in my book. Definitely worth a visit!
Pizzas are amazing. They have different sauces for different places in the world, wish we could try them all, but we just ordered 2. One was from India and the other one from Korea. The Korean was a bit sweet, but worth the try and the Indian one of course did the trick, a little spice to it and it definitely hit thw spot. Must try for any pizza lover and righr off the freeway too. Make sure you call it before to order at least 30mins... they get busy real quick.
My wife and I had a hankering for Saturday afternoon pizza, but wanted something new and different. The Sun Valley location is next to a park which would’ve been inviting except it was raining and would’ve been an epic failure if we took our pizzas out and it poured … We each decided to order our own. Note: Take the advice of the website and get there right at noon. Our place an order in advance on the website, …I could see that it would get pretty crowded and since they make everything fresh 15 minutes can really stretch out if patrons start getting wishy-washy on what to order... note, the pizzas are medium size and 1 could feed 2, but with all these choices, suggest go for 2 because you'll polish off more than you think (it's pizza! :) Mine came out first, so we started on that together. I chose Habibe. Basically ground lamb and beef mixture with Middle Eastern spices and very few white and green onions sprinkled throughout, . The drizzle could best be described as a garlic butter or buttery yogurt. The pizzas have a great appetizing presentation, and overall very flavorful with a tasty thin crust that held together and didn't sag what so ever. We Easily got through half of it ... stopped because we wanted to save room for the next one. The wife chose the El Chapo, Mexican chorizo pizza. Clever, title and tagline.. We asked for less spice because I don't do hot spice very well. I didn't get a picture of it. but it was a masterpiece of a pizza. I surprised myself that I ate as many slices as I did ... This one was more tomato based and had a slight crushed red pepper flavor. This pizza although also light on toppings, was huge on flavor... So in conclusion, my only "beef" with this pizza place is they are light on the toppings... but great on flavor ... I would've liked to see more vegetables or meats... but what they did have on there was good Quailty... I would say everybody should go here at least once to try it. I think you'll go back a second time.
I own a wood fired pizzeria myself in the UK and was recommended to try this place if ever in LA. Thankfully I got the chance recently and was not disappointed. The food and ingredients used as exceptional and the pizza is delicious, light and crispy just as a Romano style pizza should be! As well as the food I have to mention the service and the staff. Delightful. Helpful and knowledgeable. It was a lovely team and it was a pleasure to see such a beautiful synergy between them. We were served by Phoebe, Jennifer and Brandon and they deserve a mention for all their hard work and amazing service. The best pizza I’ve tried in a long time and I’m glad I was able to visit being a serious pizza pro I couldn’t fault it. Would 100% recommend. Great business with great ethics. Keep up the good work guys!
Hands down best pizza I’ve had in the valley. There are some solid pizza choices in the valley; but this one is the top. If you’re a fan of white pizza, I ended up getting a Chefs choice chicken pesto pizza. It was so good I ordered another pizza The bee sting was the second pizza we got and it was an excellent spicy pizza. Picture attached
Once you go here you will understand why this is an award winning place it's not just the pizza but the people who work here have a spirit of generosity and kindness that you don't find everywhere.... And the pizza is probably the best ove ever had that volcanic stone oven made a huge difference. The crust to cheese to sauce to toppings ratio was perfect so was all the flavor
786 Degrees Pizza is one of the best pizza places in Los Angeles, hands down. I saw the reviews and can agree that they do hold up! The classic New York style pizza is perfect in terms of flavor and lightness of the crust. Each slice was much smaller than you'd expect for a NY style pizza (but that's because of the Neapolitan style here), however the crust is perfectly chewy. The Guru pizza was delicious, and well seasoned without too much overpowering flavor. I will certainly be back!! Update: the Napolitano Margherita pizza is good and the Moroccan pizza was delicious. It had a lot of flavor and was almost meaty, despite being vegetarian! I would highly recommend it!
Located in the corner of a strip mall you'll find some of the best pizza at 786 Degrees Pizza. Small spot with a few tables inside and outside. An insane variety of pizzas to choose from. The service was top notch, everyone working hard and very friendly. If you're a pizza lover this is a must go to!
Ordered a few different pizzas. Everything was absolutely delicious and clearly made with love. Super sweet employees even though they were quite busy and backed up. Favorite must have been the chorizo or the bumblebee sting. Bulgogi was good but not amazing. Overall, it was awesome and ill definitely be back
2019.11-15 FRI/1300: Can't say enough about this place! Even though the restaurant is tiny, they pump out pizzas faster than In and Out because of that wood fired oven and the excellent staff! Because of their quality ingredients, I have NOT had any digestive issues from their dough!!! So stoked about that! We always hit this place up for lunch. The owner did a fantastic job with training his staff and it shows. I haven't seen him there since he first opened and the staff is still the same - wonderfully professional and extremely hospitable. Love it! So if you want a quick bite, stop in and see the crew here! You may think you'll have to wait a long time but YOU NEVER WILL. They are not your average pizza joint. This is delicious, wood fire oven baked pizza cooked quicker than the time it will take you to whip out your card to pay your bill kind of pizza. I swear, it's that quick. Once you try them, you'll know AND you'll be back.

I had the bombay tikka masala on my first visit and the nonna on my second. Both were amazing, especially the crust. Gotta eat the pizza fresh, right there at the restaurant. Don't take it to go!
