*1st TIMER* service was A+, every single person here was soooo sweet and accommodating. We came at lunch time (busy) party of two, and we were sat in less than 5 minutes. I tried the #4 Beef , mild. It was spicy enough to make my lip and eyebrows sweat , but enjoyable! During lunch special you get a free black or green tea! Atmosphere was awesome! They’re so quick to help you if you need it. Yummy food, speedy / friendly service, and super fun atmosphere! They had todays pop music on which was so fun! It was like a mini escape from reality! Plenty of parking, one restroom with one toilet which is fine it’s a small restaurant, and you can take your food to go if you don’t finish it all.
Good food. Be prepared for longer wait times for seating
Brandon, Dillion, and all the people working there have excellent customer service and the food is always wonderful!
We went there last night and a trainee took our order and didn't tell us that the item we are ordering has a strong smell of fermented tofu and when it arrived and we tasted it, we could eat it because of smell. Then this great worker named " Mika" asked us very nicely and replaced our item. She was very kind and explained nicely what is the cause of strong smell and the person who took the order should have told us. All good she replaced our order they made sure by asking us we are enjoying our food. Another one also brought us additional soup and took care. They have a great staff along with trainees. The only cons is their seating arrangement. Somehow they skipped our number which they use for seating so I have to ask them that we are waiting for 45 minutes and our number is not on the screen. If they can improve their seating capacity and system and keep one person only to clean the tables and pick up the dishes then they can avoid long wait and missing numbers. This place is improved. We went there today and the staff was very nice and helpful.
Excellent Taiwanese hot pot! Have been here many times and they are consistent. My latest visit had many people waiting outside and very few diners. I actually asked the server named John and he was really honest and open. He said it’s really overwhelming for the cooks back there since they are cooking these soups in high heat in the oven. It made complete sense. John was a really good server, food came out in a timely manner and we were checked on at the right times. Will be back again soon!
The food was great. Be prepared to wait though. It's a small establishment and seems very popular. So there is a wait to get seated. Once seated however, the food is prompt. Great quality and huge portions. The average price tag is about $25/ person at dinner.
Amazing food with tons of flavors that will awaken all of your known and unknown culinarily tastes. The place is a bit small and very popular, so be ready to wait a bit. Don't get me wrong, the food is definitely worth the wait. Make sure to get your number as soon as you arrive. The machine is on the left side of the entrance. So far I have had their Thai Flavored and Four Beef dishes. I only do the medium spicy level and I was able to handle it. I wouldn't recommend the high spicy level unless you can handle it. The servers are very prompt and friendly. They walk around refilling your water and broth if you wish. This place has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants in the Los Angels County area.
My Chinese friend recommended here. It was really tasty chili food and clean. Service was good too! Take menu number 4. And we were waiting for 30 min to enter. It is also goo to go with family, lover, friends too.
This place is so good. The Hot Pot is delicious!! It's super flavorful and always hits the spot. Their milk teas are also really good. They staff are efficient and friendly. We've come to this place multiple times, and it's always just as good. I normally get the beef hot pot. They are also really good if you have a request about leaving certain things out. There can be a wait occasionally, so be prepared for that. Bit it's seriously worth the wait!
I really like this place. I definitely go at least once a month. Every time I go, I order medium spicy beef and gravy rice. The staff at this branch are friendly. In fact, there was a small problem when I went this time, but they solved it well. So I had a satisfying meal today as well.
I have been a loyal customer of Boiling Point for perhaps 18 years. The most amazing part about my recent visit was the operation of the business. Usually, the store would be only half filled while more people waiting for a table outside. The reason given to me was the kitchen couldn't handle that big of a flow, please wait outside until we are ready to serve. My, oh my, at their 20th year anniversary with a "buy 1 get 1 free order", my visit went smoothly. The restaurant was PACKED, no empty tables whatsoever. Did the service suffer? No! We were asked if there is anything they could provide before they left the table. When I request for a refill of the broth, it was gone just like that (finger snap ). Every employee was busy but still very pleasant when interacting with the customers. I know I am one of those customers who loves the food and loves the way I like it. In short, I'm very picky. With a packed restaurant, the food was served with only a short wait. The food was just as I expected. Even the rice was done right, not too smoosh nor undercooked. They were able to maintain a clean and accident free environment. I was impressed. I chatted with the person who sat us down and I asked if she was the manager because I was amazed. I'm the district manager, she said. That explains it all. Everything ran smoothly. Kudos to Wendy and thank you for making our dining experience enjoyable.
Went right when it opened on a Sunday, this place can get busy. I ordered the Korean Bean Paste Soup. You can choose your level of spiciness, I chose mild and it was perfect for me. Lots of stuff in this soup! Loved every bite and slurp! Also comes with a side of rice or vermicelli. Soup sits on a box with a flame under so your soup is boiling the entire time unless you ask the server to turn it off. It comes with a choice of green or black cold tea.
I’ve ate here about 5 times now, and I’ve ordered a different hotpot each time without being disappointed at all! I’d recommend trying to go during the lunch hours, the bowls are the same size but you get a discounted price. The drinks are good too, they offer iced coffee, boba, teas and plenty of other options. If you go for dinner be prepared to have a slight wait, but it’s usually not more than 30-40 minutes.
Loud music, low lighting interior, with busy servers. Lunch is decently priced and comes with a cup of tea. I was quickly seated (you need to register electronically at the door) as the restaurant was pretty empty at 2:00PM in the afternoon. They had recommend me their popular hot pot - "Beef" hot pot. It came with friend skin tofu, fish cakes, tomatoes, soft tofu, corn, enoki, napa cabbage, imitation crab, meat ball, beef, and top with cilantro and green onions.
We came here as a big group of 15 people for dinner around 7pm. The restaurant was busy, but the staff was very organized. They politely asked us to wait about 10 minutes so they could thoroughly clean and prepare the tables for our group — we appreciated the attention to cleanliness! Once seated, the servers were friendly, patient, and calm as they walked through all of our individual orders — which is not easy with a large group! The food was excellent as always. The hot pots were flavorful and fresh, and both the kids and adults were very happy with the meal. Everyone enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend this location for both small groups and large parties — great service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
Awesome place ordered a number 8 Taiwanese Spicy very good had a lot of flavor and there milk tea is awesome will definitely come back spicy fermented tofu is also flavorful
Great Taiwanese hot pot. I got the beef bowl, with the hot broth. The hottest is flaming, and I have a pretty high tolerance for spice, but it's super spicy. Hot is just right for me. Ordered ramen and quail eggs to add to it. Super filling, and the workers are attentive whenever you need something.

It took about 1 hour and 45 minutes to get there from LA. The traffic is heavy on weekdays and the waiting time took 45 minutes. When you order a menu, the food comes out quickly. Boiling point is always delicious.
Make sure to say not spicy, or your level of spice you are able to tolerate or you will need to dilute the dish you ordered just to eat it. But if you had the dishes before you'll be enjoying a delicious meal. The service, is not very quick butt they do come once called. Making a reservation before you go will definitely save you wait time. Enjoy your time and hope this helps.
Personally, I did not enjoy the experience of not being able to eat my food due to how hot my food was at this particular restaurant. They do offer small bowls on the side for you to be able to serve yourself, but the tables are tiny and the stove your food comes in takes most of the space at the tables. The portions served are small for those with a big appetite. I ordered curry and I asked for no spice, but it came served with mild hot sauce. The best thing I had was the collagen passion fruit jelly. This restaurant is not for big groups such as four people or more it seems. The facility is maintained clean. The ambience is loud. I don’t think I’d come back here to this hot pot place, but you might like it if you’re willing to give this restaurant a try.

I thought the food was okay. I had the beef but the beef wasn't really anything to write home about. Service was fine. I thought it was nice they offered green tea or wintermelon juice with the food. The wintermelon juice was sweetened and apparently the green tea was also sweetened so just a heads up.

The food was great, splendid actually. The pots were really flavorful and I loved it but the service was a bit disconcerting. Frankly I felt a bit ignored by some of the staff 😅. They never really gave me the replacement chopsticks after I asked for them. Had to go to the front and take a pair.
My folks live in this area and have been here ever so often but this is the first time I felt the need to leave a review. The girl with pouty lip who took our order had so much attitude. I know it’s busy day and my typical Asian dad might’ve rushed her to take our order, which I have already educated him on. If you want to roll your eyes at least have the courtesy to do it behind our backs? Left without asking our drink order. I don’t even want to leave a tip but there are other servers who are super nice to us. The food is your typical boiling point, hearty, delicious sauce, but you can get better service at other BP locations.
Outstanding soups! It's a wow! Two stars short of perfect score due to small servings. The one in the photo is already large with extra meat. This is not for sharing if you have a big appetite like me. Another star not given due to a long waiting time... You have to make sure you go there on a non-peak hour. Taste-wise, boiling point is surely a hit 👍
lowkey disappointed, i think the place is overpriced and overhyped. the whole concept is cute and the food came out super fast. some staff were really friendly, others don’t seen to care as much. the pot averages around $16 each (as i remember). but all the pots consist of 75% cabbage.. there were a lot of items listed in the “ingredients/ description” sections of the pot that wasn’t even there. it seem like a lot of different things in the pictures because of the plating obviously.. but everything under there were just cabbage. like i got half a meatball lol, 1 clam, only 3 big slices if beef. it’s not the worst, but i’m definitely not going back. i don’t think eating a ton of cabbage was worth your money and wait time. sorry:(
Very busy. Hence the seating service is rather slow. After taking orders though, the food and drink came quickly. It’s the same taste I liked back then. Portion of beef and squid is a lot less at this location though! (2nd hotpot pic is from concept store, notice how the beef portion differs) Hokkaido milk tea is a must! Something which the concept store doesn’t have 🤷🏼♂️

Food is ok, but I experienced the worst customer service. They didn't even serve ice water; just brought a steam rice in a bowl. I had to wait another 30 minutes for the main dish. The steam rice was little hard; it was not well-cooked. Customer requests were ignored by employees. Not happy with their service at all.
Very mid food- I didn't realize the bowls are already pre made. You can't sub or replace anything. There's only one vegetarian option (not very flavorful, just a bunch of mushrooms). I waited an hour for seating. That wasn't necessarily terrible, just worth noting. Upon actually being seated, I was pretty much ignored most of the time- to the point I had to ask a random waitor for a bowl and rice. I ate about half the bowl, as it wasn't good. I wouldn't recommend, but I wouldn't not recommend. I am not sure whether it's supposed to be a serve yourself kind of restaurant or if I really just got service that terrible. Also ordered a hot brown sugar tea. It was not good in my opinion, but I'm not fond of sweet teas. It was an experience to say the least.... For hotpot it's not necessarily overpriced- if it was hotpot in the traditional sense. Overall, it was very mid in experience and taste.
Tried the house special last night and it smelled and taste funky maybe because of the pork blood on it. My buddies can even smell it too. Had a diarrhea the following day. Good thing the server was kind enough to not charge me for it because i barely ate it. I just got stick with beef next time
I have been to this place so many times in the past and I always have only good things to say. This last time that I was there, service was so bad. We had to wait more than 20 minutes to get our order taken and we had to ask for our rice and drinks to be delivered after we had gotten our pots. I had to ask the servers multiple times for things and it was not a busy day. Safe to say it was my worst experience at that restaurant in the 10 years that I have been there.
The korean bean paste hot pot is my favorite. The service can be very slow at times. One time, the waiter forgot to put in our orders and we waited over one hour to receive the food with little apology. Currently $22 for one pot during dinner and they have been slowly increasing the price every couple months which is very unfortunate. It’s not worth the value. They have been putting less ingredients in the food as well. This place has started to go downhill. The employees have changed a lot and the food does not have the same flavor. It’s very inconsistent.
Need better staff training. I called for a pick up they said it will be done in 15 min. I showed up and they forgot my order and told me to wait 5 more min. I told them I’ll wait outside and call me when it’s ready. After 10 I walked in and the order has been sitting on the rack. Clearly it has been sitting there for a while since it wasn’t warm after 5 min drive home.
Not worth the wait. The food was good, but the service was terrible. We waited for an hour for a table, half an hour for food, and a half hour after finisher dinner for our check. Of the six or so people staffed that night, only two were helping seat people and serve tables; the other four were standing around chatting. I'll wait in line for Hot Pot somewhere where the food is good AND the staff are respectful to their customers.
We come here for the house special, but they keep changing it! The fermented tofu is half the size now, not as stinky and isnt as firm. It literally fell apart once it sat in the hot pot for too long. Soup base still taste the same, but I feel like the more successful we make this company, the cheaper they get! It's ridiculous that they give you half a portion of the stinky tofu and charge you more for the pots. Price went up and portions are cut, I get the house special for a reason! I don't even care for this place anymore. Gonna go somewhere else to get my fermented tofu. Oh yeah we ordered extra rice and vermicelli, it stated $1 on the price board and they rung us up $1.50 for each additional vermicelli. When I asked them, they just said "Oh we go with menu prices, the price on the board hasn't been changed yet."
I’m visiting from Chicago and have heard many things about this place. It was my first time eating here. I told the guy that took my order it’s my first time and he said to do the house special, beef or the lamb. So I got the house special and mild with noodles. It was super super good! But you’re probably wondering why the 1 star!?? Because not one person came to check on me or ask if I need water or anything the entire time while I’m sitting there and eating for 30-45mins. Yep, not a single person! So if you eat here, don’t be upset that you don’t get good service.
