Our favourite for breakfast. We often visit as a family and during the holidays there can be up to 18 of us. Julian is always super accommodating and friendly! Service is great. Sheila is just fab, full of fun and always happy to do anything to help! The team are great, standard of food and availability is always high. Most recently went as a family/friends group of 9.

Amazing service. Went there for dinner and our server Phoebe could not have been more helpful and nice. All our food was served in a timely manner and my steak was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was very chilled despite a fair number of people being there. I will definitely be returning.

We made a booking for 4 for breakfast. Sheila is incredible! She served our family with a smile and enthusiasm! She managed to get all of our food out to us as quickly as possible, despite a completely packed out restaurant. We came for the breakfast with our two little ones, which meant that our kids ate for free. They even accommodated my gluten free diet! Had gluten free toast and options, as well as vegan options (i.e. oat and soya milk, vegan sausage, etc.). Amazing value, hot breakfast, unlimited cooked and continental all for £21.98! Will be coming back again.

I was apart of a table of 10, which we were having a congratulations meal for myself. Which as soon as we arrived I was congratulated by the person at the door and the waitress Karen. Who was the most amazing, fabulous, funny waitress. Which made the evening so much better !! Thank you so much Karen !!

The is a quieter restaurant than the Beefeater at Eureka with a pub style building. It's twinned with the Premier Inn hotel. Visited The Woolpack for an evening meal and to celebrate a birthday, I had made reservations, we arrived early and our table was ready. We ordered half grilled chicken, vegetable skewers and grilled salmon fillet. All tasty and well cooked. Customer Service is very good especially from our server Faye who is polite and friendly. Highly Recommend!

Had some lovely food here a few times this week! Not expensive at all, 2 drinks and a rib eye steak for less than £30. Ellie was a great barmaid!

The place was buzzing and very busy, my table was booked. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. My server Karen was smiling and very happy to help. She was carrying the place and keeping everyone happy. Definitely worth a visit.

As 'walk ins' I come here two or three times a year to meet up for breakfast with some family who live nearby. This is my favourite Beefeater location for breakfast because the food is cooked to order so always comes hot. The croissants were very fresh and I was pleased to see they now have individual portions of apricot jam available (my favourite with a croissant). Sheila was our waitress and gave us first class service as usual. Looking forward to our next visit.

We were staying overnight at the neighbouring Premier Inn and, based on the great food I had enjoyed on a previous visit, decided to have dinner and breakfast there. When we went in at about 8pm they were busy but Jaimie the manager said that if we could wait in the bar area he would get us a table within 5 minutes. This he achieved and then explained the benefits of the Meal Deal offer that the Premier Inn has whereby dinner and breakfast can be had at a reduced price. We took up the deal and were sat upstairs in the eaves if the original barn part of the building g which was lovely and quite cosy. Ellie, our waitress effectively took our orders and the food arrived as hoped. My wife went for the main course and dessert option while I chose the starter and main course. The food was excellent as it had been on my previous visit and I am confident will be on future visits. The hotel and restaurant are very convenient fir the channel tunnel terminal without being on top of it or in the retail park next to the Sainsbury's superstore at the next junction.

I was served today by a young lady called Alex, who is very polite and hard-working. The service was impeccable. Alex showed maturity beyond her years, which is very impressive. Nice place, relaxed atmosphere with great customer service. The staff keep offering me a seat closer to their vacuum cleaner & I keep offering to do the cleaning instead of paying. Luckily, they appreciate my sense of humour.

The Beefeater is a great place to go to for reasonably priced good food. They have a huge menu and some well cooked Steak, plus the do loads of offers and vouchers if you sign up to their loyalty scheme.

Nice little cosy looking pub/restaurant on the A20 with a premiere inn next to it if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area. We are local and have Come to the woolpack many times with no issues. Unfortunately on this visit there were issues. We ordered the steak surf and turf combi. Priced at £23.99 so fairly expensive. The service did seem to be slower than usual, but when we entered it did seem to be more busy than usual. When our mains came the first impressions were very disappointing. Portions were far from generous, presentation was of a low standard and calamari over cooked. It was far from the price that was being asked. There is a picture attached. I asked to speak to a manager. Laura arrived promptly. I simply asked if she would pay £23.99 for the meal served to me. Added to this we had waited around 35mins from starter to mains. She agreed that it was not up to their usual standard. She offered to have the meals re done. I appreciate that sometimes we do not get things right but how can you make it better when something goes wrong. Laura dealt with the situation very professionally and promptly and the whole team worked together to get it right. Although I put 3 stars for food the replacement was 5 but the portions were still a little low. I could not fault all their efforts, this experience would not deter me from coming back and I would still reccomend. Keep up the hard work and thank you.

A warm welcome after a long drive. Arrived late Sunday after a long drive from Nottingham. Walked in at 10pm but service had finished. The manager very kindly showed me to the bar and had asked them to pour a Guinness. Thank you for taking care of me!

Absolutely great. First-the food is always good, in perfect portions, tasty and freshly made. I always saw beef is correctly cooked. Staff is friendly and professional, making you feeling welcomed in the place. The service is quick all the times, even if they are busy. The parking is free and plenty of, no matter how busy it is. Perfect.

We just had an early father's day dinner here. I'm a bit awkward with my food due to stomach issues. So I asked if I could have the flatbread instead of a bun on my build a burger. So I ended up with a chicken breast and halloumi in flatbread and it was delicious. (You need this on your menu😊) Also my partner wanted cheesecake but doesn't like honeycomb. So Phoebe our waitress suggested KitKat crumble and chocolate sauce on it instead. Also a winner!! She was amazing. Very accommodating and friendly. We had a great evening. Thank you sooo much to everyone working there for making it so lovely 🤗

Last minute family lunch for 7. Fantastic service from every staff member we spoke to. 2x roast beef, 2x burger, 2x steak and ale pie and a sea bass. Followed by 2x crumble, 2x sundaes, a new York cheesecake, a lemon and raspberry semi-freddo and a black forest gateau. Washed down with 2x bottles of Jack Rabbit pinot. Everyone enjoyed their food, nothing left! Thank you everyone for a fabulous family lunch! Xx

We were a party of ten and the staff accommodated us at late notice for the same evening. They were really helpful and table was ready for us even though we arrived early. Food was excellent and served hot (unlike many chain pub restaurants) as more than one server brought the food out meaning we had our meals at the same time. Didn’t feel it was understaffed which is good. Breakfast was also really good as it was ‘a la carte’ rather than buffet for the hot stuff. Country pub feel inside which was nice.

All 4 of us had a really nice meal last Sunday, the gamon was little fatty but still very good, the service was second to nun, they were very busy but the atmosphere was excessant, very enjoyable afternoon.

Great breakfast. And a great service from Sheila. Very friendly, and welcoming. Order what you want and as much as you like, and its served, with "Round 2, and 3" encouraged. I had the full English (pick your own itens and quantities) then a pastry with coffee. I'd still rather have a buffet where you pick what you like, as opposed to ordering..... probably just me, but you feel you're being greedy ordering too much. Overall, for £10.99, definitely recommended. Nice place too, plenty parking outside.....

We had a lovely 2 course meal with a glass of wine including breakfast as part of a Premier inn deal when we stayed on Saturday night. Mixed grill and breakfast were very very good. Everything cooked perfectly on a hot plate & nicely presented. We also had a couple of cheeky Stellas in the afternoon looking out the window near the bar as storm Bert hit. Really pleasant experience.

Very nice layout inside and decor. Staff very friendly and great service. Good atmosphere. Had the roast sharer platter. Great value and £3.50 for refillable soft drink. Unfortunately the veg in the roast wasn’t great, hard boiled carrots, more stalks than broccoli. Roast potatoes were nice if a little dry. Peas felt boiled out of a bag. Gravy was very oily and lacked flavour. Chicken was amazing! As well as the cauliflower cheese is always lovely. We asked for beef Pink and it was very raw so will ask for it done more next time. Overall nice lunch but will stick to the other beefeaters.

Arrived during a week day night, manager was upfront with information as some of the meals where not available at the time of arrival rather then wait for us to seat down then let us know. The wait was reasonably friendly and responded to our requests. Food arrived in a timely manner, lots of flavours coming through and it was of good standard. Paying was straight forward , not having to look through then the receipt and wait 10 minutes for the waitress to come back. Some of the furniture does need to be updated, or at least refurbed.

So it has been a few years since we have been to this beefeater and it has improved a lot since we was last here. Food was very nice not rushed and it makes all the difference. Would highly recommend Hothfield Beefeater. Staff have been helpful and nice lots of smiles. Needs a few touch ups on the decorating but very nice place.

Went here for lunch. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Burger was perfectly ok too, nothing to complain about. Could have done with a few more chips though tbh. I wasn't all that pleased with dessert, however, because the waffle had been microwaved and was therefore a bit soft n soggy. All in all though, a great place and very good for a beefeater. I would recommend.

Great location 👌 and friendly atmosphere. The food was not the most delicious that we ever had but there was nothing wrong with it either. We had a table outside and we had a nice family dinner 🍽 while enjoying the sunset 🌇. We recommend this place.

Ordered sirloin steak. Meat quality was poor, gristle where gristle ought not yo be. If it was sirloin it was not the best end. Ordered medium rare, came rare / blue. Fortunately I enjoy beef cooked rare, many I suspect would have sent it back. Issues were raised with the waiting staff and we were given a discount. I wasn't looking for any but I thought the way they reacted was good. Thankyou for that, it was unexpected. Despite this we will return.

The ambience was great and the service was wonderful except that someone missed a request for a pot of ketchup as it was busy. The food was not that exciting for the price we paid.

We've stayed at the Premier Inn Ashford North on several occasions, and we usually get the "meal deal" for dinner and breakfast at the attached Beefeater. There is a definite difference between the warmth of welcome at this Beefeater - which is rather cold - compared with the Beefeater down the road at the Eureka park - which is friendly and efficient. Arriving for dinner recently we had to wait at the "wait to be seated" reception for quite a while. We were eventually placed at a table very close to large noisy family party - we've been there done that, so we had to ask to be moved. Given how busy the place was the service was fortunately quite prompt, albeit somewhat brusque. At breakfast the following morning there were no pleasantries, instead we were interrogated on our room number and whether we had any allergies. And this was after yet another extensive wait in front of the "wait to be seated" sign, while several staff passed by and completely ignored us, until there was quite a queue building up behind us. A simple "someone will be with you in a moment" would have helped. Although the service left something to be desired, the food at the Beefeater Ashford North was pretty good. For dinner we both had rump steak, mine cooked medium and the boss well-cooked, and we were both very happy. Desserts followed promptly, and my blackberry and apple crumble was very good. The drinks were also very acceptable - I had beer and the boss had lime and soda. The following morning the full English was also very good. In summary you will eat quite well at the Beefeater Ashford North but you may not feel entirely welcome.

Very busy on Saturday evening. Had to wait about 20 minutes for my starter, but another 20 minutes for the mains. My wife's was fine but mine was cold( no doubt because it had been sitting on the counter waiting to be served. I complained and guess what,I had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for it to arrive. Then it had the wrong chips. The waitress offered to take it back, but I wasn't prepared to wait a long time again. I had already sat there and watched my wife eat hers, and now she had to sit and watch me eat mine. Didn't even get a discount. Very very poor evening

Unfortunately nothing proved satisfactory this evening. The drinks order was mislaid. Eventually it was received but not the beer ordered. The fillet steak took 35 minutes to arrive and was delivered incinerated! The dessert of chocolate orange bread and butter pudding was poorly presented and quite unappetising. We have been regular customers at this venue but based on the experience tonight it may be a while before visiting again.

Stopped by when staying at a nearby hotel. Service was slow, very slow, and had to chase up order. I expect that at busy times priority service goes to those staying at the premier inn given their link. Cannot prove it but other customers seated after us were served before us. Good was Ok. Delays spoiled the experience

You would expect beefeater to be expert at cooking and serving premium steaks of beef. My last 2 visits have shown this as not so. My first was a medium rare fillet and a well done sirloin. Both were inedible. Thisntime I went for the mixed grill and the 4oz steak although well done was akin to a dogs toy. We overheard several tables sending thier meat back. Come on beefeater live up to your name.

Came here on 18/12/2025 it was my granddaughters 13th birthday all 13 of us seated at 7.30pm got drinks waitress did our orders at 8pm . We was waiting a good while + I mean a good 1 hour + 15mins so we got our meals at 9.15pm so from 7.30pm -9.15pm it was absolutely disgusting having 2 wait all that time. A couple came in well after us got served + got there meal b4 we all did that shouldn't av happened they should av waited same as we had 2 . Eventually our meals came out i had the gammon it was awful very chewy couldn't cut in2 it as it was like cutting in2 leather the fat on the edge of the gammon was soft not crispy also the egg was snotty not even cooked properly overall was terrible but the service from the waitress was lovely . Find this place has gone downhill same as the one on folkestone road Dover definitely will not be coming back here Needs a good shake up with the service + a free drink should av been given 4 the waiting time of our meals coming out 2 us all

The food was fine but unfortunately the service was poor. The breakfast is offered as 'unlimited' but the cooked section has to be ordered. There were 3 members of staff running everything including stocking the continental part. It took a long time for our orders to be taken as the waitress had to take orders, clear tables, serve food and restock the continental part for a full restaurant. More staff are a must as we were not offered a second serving of the hot food because the waitress was so busy. When we did get our food everyone in our group got the wrong order whether that be too little of one thing or something random added. We couldn't query it was she was so busy. Only one coffee machine is out which causes a massive bottleneck, two machines are probably required especially for busy periods. I imagine on a random Tuesday morning in January the service is probably excellent but today it was poor. More staff are needed or some sort of mobile ordering system if they don't want hot food buffet.

The staff are lovely but I asked for gravy for pie and mash and ended up with oil 😅
