Opiniones de Chip City Astoria
This place is top level 👌 . Fresh warm cookies. Unique cookie creations as well as traditional cookie flavors. The girls in the store are super nice and informative on availability of cookies. My favorite is the Brookie , it's a brownie / chocolate chip combination. It's unreal. I'm literally addicted to them. 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋
Love te cookies and also the service, really nice people working here
The cookies are amazing - much better than other big name cookie brands in the area. Love the staff too!
These cookies are amazing!!! I come in entirely too often, but the special offerings each week keep me wanting to try more. Also tried and loved the crookies!
Stopped in and got Sweet Potato & Chocolate Chip cookies. Very delicious and a nice treat on a cool day. The environment and box is adorable and the staff was friendly. Just a cozy little cookie place worth stopping by.
I ordered a free cookie for National Cookie Day and expected the folks who work here to be over it. I would be. They weren’t, though! The two people working today were so friendly and kind. I’d imagine they’re pretty busy today, too, with the free cookie promotion. It was really nice to be greeted with a smile and friendliness even though I just got a free cookie.
The cookies are amazing and I would leave 5 stars for those alone, but the staff is so friendly as well! Overall such a good experience. They also helped me with some questions over the phone prior to my order, and were extremely patient and helpful. Best place and best cookies!
BEST COOKIES IN NYC! Ever since I moved to New York and tried Chip Cookie for the first time I am in love. They are incredibly soft, chewy and so big! Fresh from the oven you always get a warm cookie to enjoy. I literally love all their flavors but my all time favorite is the classic chocolate chip. So good! They have changing flavors on the menu and seasonal flavors as well. Don’t be scared off by a long line, it’s worth waiting!!
The cookies are always fresh, because they're constantly being made throughout the day. And these ain't you're average cookies, they're about the size and thickness of a doughnut, but a lot more dense of course, since it's a cookie. My favorite part is that they're always half baked. Plus they have really good coffee to go along with their amazing cookies. Definitely check this place out, specially if you love cookies as much as I do
Always awesome. The cookies are amazing, but I want to shout-out the staff! Consistently super nice and happy to offer reccomendations. I'm always wishing I had a little more cash on-hand to tip them since they're all clearly working hard and being as sweet as the product they bake and sell. Just a heads up, it can get busy. It's a little place, so lines form fast, but the wait is worth it, trust me!
I love everything about Chip City! I tried their new thin cookies last night at the Astoria location and it was heaven in my mouth. I would definitely recommend the "Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies". Thin or not, those are my favorites here at Chip City. The workers are always so nice as well!
My review is on the actual cookies! They are delicious! Its like a cookie cake. It's soft flavorful and filling. It's pricey but you get a rather large cookie for the price. And the satisfaction you get in each warm bite is worth it! I'm not one to stand on line, so I go early when there's no rush or line! But I understand the line especially if your craving. It was the line that drew my attention to the store in the first place! Either way they don't disappoint!
The customer service was amazing!!! She was so sweet and suggested new flavors to try! Even gave my daughter a sticker! Love coming to get cookies here!
Yummmmmmy the very tastiest, big, chonky cookies!! 🍪 this location seems to always have line outside. 4 flavors a day. 1 is always chocolate chip. There is a 5th cookie- Plant based chocolate chip option available - made with coconut oil and oat milk. AMAZING flavor! Moist, melty, gooey you wouldn't even know it!
I needed to check this place out after I saw a video about them on facebook. I was lucky there was no line when I went but people were inside enjoying their cookies and coffee. I got 1 of each cookies to try them all, big surprise chocolate chip was my favorite, just by a small margin. Cookies are served hot, so soft and melted!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone! They accept credit and debit cards.
Best cookies! Slightly crispy on the outside. Gooey & chewy on the inside. Chocolate chip is my fave. But they offer so many different & creative flavors. Astoria 34th St location has very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
I came today to pick up to bring to LA to my family. Didnt get a chance to get his name but whomever worked today 11/17 3pm , he was very kind and informative! I asked him for recommendations and he was quick to help me choose! Just got the fall dulce de leche latte, soo good! I was worried it would be too sweet becise hello “dulce” but it was just right! And they have options of different milk. It wasnt too hot that it burned me too! thank you for foamy milk lol FYI! I asked because i happened to go to this location instead of LIC “to see what this location has” but he informed me that all locations have the same flavors out for the day. You can call ahead to order through phone or the app. Now i know for next time
Yummy cookies open late. I picked up a lemon Blueberry croissant cookie tonight and fell in love. The berry icing was the cherry on top 🍪
I went in for one cookie but left with three. I went in for the Fluffernutter which I have to get whenever it’s on the weekly menu. But then I got a special cookie/croissant that is a mash up of their Italian rainbow. So unbelievably good. I love chip city and love that it originated in Astoria!
Damn good cookies. Damn good service. Shoutout to Ángel who was super patient, informative, and friendly.
The ORIGINAL Chip City (aka CHIP) is located here in Astoria, and despite its expansion throughout NYC, the quality has not been compromised! Their cookies are second to none and so is the friendly service! I love how Chip City gets into the spirit of the various holidays throughout the year by baking festive treats. There are Christmas, Valentine's Day, and even St. Patrick's Day themed cookies for all to enjoy. Pro-tip: Arrive super early so you won't have to wait on line.
Their chocolate chip cookies are amazing. They aren't too hard or too soft. They also have so many unique cookie options that look fun and may most likely taste just as good.
Great place, delicious cookies and happy to support a local business
I love Chip City and everyone working here is so sweet! Always looking for an excuse to celebrate something with a cookie
I’ve been to Chip City many times however based on my recent visits I felt that one of the staff members deserved recognition. I always have the pleasure of being greeted and helped by Sara who has been the staff working during most of my visits. She has not only been friendly but she seems to be very knowledgeable on everything about the company as a whole. The cookies are absolutely delicious and a great size based on the pricing. Every purchase has been worth every penny. The store is always clean and smells great. I have no complaints towards this company at all and give them props for having a staff member that is just as great as the product.
Best cookies in queens!! These were so good and had the perfect warm texture. I think it’s better than Crumbl. Location in Astoria was a bit small but it had cute vibes, and the workers were super friendly and outgoing. Coming here again!
Seriously amazing cookies. Warm, gooey, and soft. Would have tried every variety if I could but they were very filling. Went to the Gansevoort market location which is convenient if you're staying in Manhattan. Honestly considering making a trip into the city just to get more cookies.
Super small spot. 4 cookies were available for purchase on this day - july 2021. Theres no indoor seating, but there is an outdoor stool and countertop seating. I got 6 cookies for $20 and brought them to a small family gathering. I like cookies but im not a huge fan of chocolate chips. My family loved them. The pina colada had a cream center that surprised me, in a good way. Was my first time going to chip city - definitely seem some instagram stuff. Glad i went!
These are hands down one of the best cookies in Queens. There are many places that try to replicate and do cookies like these however, Chip City cookies are just the perfect taste, texture, and consistency. My personal favorites are the cookies n creme as well as the blueberry. Inside the blueberry there is creme cheese which tastes amazing. Apparently they only make 4 flavored cookies each day so they won’t be having the same ones every time. Love these, will definitely be coming back to try the rest!
Went to this Chips location around 6pm. This location closes around 10pm and cooks fresh cookies all day round. Staff was very courteous and restaurant was clean and well organized. You can also smell the sugar and spices from outside the store and it smells amazing. I had two cookies, the first one was the chocolate chip. The outer shell was hard and the inside was warm and soft. The chocolate chips were big and oozed out. The rest of the cookie had a sugary taste. I second cookie I had was the s'mores cookie. The cookie had a hard exterior. Cookie itself tasted subtlety marshmallowey, with a big melted blob of marshmallow in the middle. Marshmellow is light and fluffy. Edges were a little burnt (in a good way.)
If you wanna re-discover cookies, it's the place to go! Forget flat and dry cookies and discover the generous ones from Chip City! Everyday they propose 3 different flavours. There are classic recipes and original ones. Once you taste it you understand they are made with love. A little bit like when your grandma made you some :). It's definitly the right place to grab something for the afternoon or for dessert!
These cookies are massive, delicious and so addicting. My favorite is their Rainbow Cookie, which I hope they offer again soon! Chocolate Chip, Triple Chocolate and Banana Nut Oat are also among my favorites but really you can't go wrong with any of them. Sometimes the line is ridiculous but always worth it. I have tried 22 of their cookies and can't wait for more new fun flavors! Thanks for opening back up during this pandemic!
Last month after Rocco Mark's Baptism at Le Nonna on Kent Avenue in Brooklyn, my Mom and I stopped at Chip NYC in Astoria before heading home. I was waiting in a long line waiting to get a Funfetti cookie for myself and a Chocolate Chip Cookie to share with my Mom and Dad. They only sell 4 flavors and it is a different combination. My 2 favorite flavors are Chocolate Chip and Funfetti at Chip NYC. Thank you so much for everything, I really want to get a cookie tin from Chip NYC.
Such delicious cookies!! Giant and gooey, similar to Levain, but more flavors and a bit richer (oh and no line!). I went towards the end of the day and tried the chocolate chip and butterscotch toffee, both excellent. Waistline beware, cookies are $3.50 a piece and there is a $10 credit card minimum, so bring cash unless you want to eat three cookies 😄
OMG - I found out that there's a Chip City a few blocks from my house and mannnnnn listen !!! I've been there the last 3 days. I'm sooooo thankful they have vegan options. They have been making my night. I've been getting the chocolate chip cookie and the cookie butter cookie - both vegan of course. I've been heating them up in the toaster oven and eating them with some delicious Van Luewen dairy free ice cream. Sheeeeesh SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! My goodness!!!
Spencer and Alyssa were phenomenal! I go to the other chip city’s because they’re right by my house but this one is now my favorite! The cookies aren’t burnt EVER and the service is great!! I’ll be going to this one now because it’s right by my gym! Def ask for Spencer and Alyssa!!
I’m in Florida but whenever I’m in NY, I can’t leave home without bringing some of these home for my daughter which is begging for one to open up here in Orlando by the way. She even started she was gonna start a petition, gotta love these kids lol… pumpkin s’more is my new favorite and they should have it all the time. Don’t forget the milk! Xoxo
Cookies always hit, and everyone who works here is always so nice and kind! Whenever I need a recommendation or just need a cookie to cheer me up, everyone always has such kind words. Keep doing you cookie people :)
OMG, Chip City is easily one of my top, top, top places for cookies. I’m usually not a fan of Dubai chocolate, but a staff member recommended it, so I gave it a try and I loved it. I’m still thinking about it, honestly. Their classic chocolate chip cookies are a favorite of mine, and every cookie is unique and delicious!!!
Sophia was the person who assisted my partner and I, she was very welcoming, kind, helpful and gave us a very nice experience! We will definitely be coming back to get more cookies and hope to be waited on by her again!
The best cookies around! Always original and delicious options. Going in store is always a positive experience and delivery is easy. Such phenomenal cookies!
I just cannot put into words how delicious the cookies are at every single one of these locations. Each time I go every cookie is fresh and delicious and has a nice crispy exterior with a warm gooey inside that I’ve had success heating up using a variety of kitchen gadgets even 5 to 7 days later. Definitely worth a trip if you are willing to put in some time on the cardio equipment.
this was my first time trying Chip City cookies and I’m positively surprised! The cookies were sweet, gooey, and just perfect. I got the chocolate chip, blueberry cheesecake and reese’s peanut butter blast cookies and all of them were great (although my favorite one was blueberry cheesecake). Also employees were patient and friendly 🖤🍪
These are not your regular cookies, these are the best cookies in town. They are big, chunky, freshly baked and they taste like a little piece of heaven. There are 13 flavors in total yet they do 4 different ones each day. There is usually always a line outside no matter what time but it runs fast and they are worth the wait. Each cookie is about $4.75 each or 3 cookies for about $14 total. Small place with big flavors. My favorites are oatmeal apple pie and chocolate chip. The oatmeal one tastes like a perfectly baked apple pie, with the right amount of sweetness, so soft and so delightful. Now as a chocolate lover, the chocolate chip cookie is just perfection for me.
Oh what a shop to be in!! I love this cookie shop!! Their cookies are so damn good. I cannot tell you how great they are! They cost a tad bit more than a regular run of the mill cookie but I promise, they’re so good. My favorite is the s’mores cookie. Metered parking is available but you can’t sit in the cookie shop. The customer service is excellent, my server was super friendly and helpful. Pre-ordering is also available.
Lovely, small, amazing cookie and coffee shop. Came here on a Saturday at noon, barely a wait. I got their cortado espresso with a carrot cake and Cadbury chocolate chip cookies. So so so so great and warm and you can tell a lot of thought and work went into these cookies. Can’t recommend enough.
Really can't be in NYC without trying these cookies! Rich, delicious and generous! They have different varieties available depending on the day. We tried one of each available yesterday and they did not disappoint! Washed it down with some of their iced coffee. Open now with safety guidelines in place. Support local businesses!
Love their cookies! They are so thick and delicious! The Sea Salt Nutella is perfection! And the classic chocolate chip, triple chocolate and funfetti were all fantastic too! Would highly recommend getting a 1/2 dozen box - (they offer the 6th cookie free) to try a few different flavors!
THE BEST COOKIES I'VE EVER HAD!!! Without any exaggeration, I've actually bought en entire tin of cookies from Chip and flown to Texas with them so I'd have quality bakes to snack on during my time there. I know people talk a lot about Levain and others, but these cookies are honestly my favorite in the city, especially if you're into soft, massive cookies. They have traditional flavors like Chocolate Chip and Funfetti, while also offering unique flavors like Piña Colada. Every day there are four unique flavors that get cycled around daily, but you can check their website for what they have each day during a given week. Oh, and though you're limited to buying 20 cookies at a time, they do offer one free for every five you buy!!
These cookies are delicious! Expect a wait well worth it. It’s a by steep at $3.50 a cookie but they’re big and so good! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Don’t expect to sit though, as there are only 2 seats in this place. It can also be hard to find as the place is so tiny.
I’m sure the cookies would’ve been tastier if they were fresh. Nothing wrong with them! I prefer them with a bit more crunch. The Apple cookie was the best. The packaging and presentation were great! I am glad I got to try them.
Fresh, delicious oven baked cookies. I always stop at my local and first Chip NYC to pick up a special treat for my nephew on Long Island. Yesterday, they had a wide range of cookie flavors, including my personal favorite, white chocolate macadamia. I know I’ll be back!
Super excited to try out these cookies! Follow them on Instagram where they announce the four flavors they’ll be selling that day. Each cookie is $3.75. I was able to try: Chocolate Chip Walnut - nice buttery flavor, and lots of chocolate chips. Personally I wish there were more walnuts so you could get some crunchiness in each bite S’mores - really liked the marshmallow melted on top and had a strong cinnamon/graham cracker flavor Butterscotch - the butterscotch flavor comes through but definitely better suited for those with a strong sweet tooth Chip vs Levain - Chip seems to be a more trendy alternative to Levain since it utilizes social media and offers a lot more nontraditional cookie flavors. However, when you compare the chocolate chip walnut cookies at both places, I still think Levain is slightly better in terms of size, sweetness level, and walnut to chocolate chip ratio. But it’s also $4 a cookie at Levain, so it’s really a trade off based on your own personal preferences. Overall, a great quality new cookie shop! I’m excited to visit again and try out new flavors.
This is a lovely little place hidden off of 31st Ave in Astoria. It's really just a store front, though they do bake the cookies in some ovens just behind the counter. The cookies are quite good — the S'mores, which is their most popular, is more like a chocolate chip cookie with some marshmallows on top. I loved it though! I found the Butterscotch Toffee to be mostly just sweet, with not a lot of other distinguishing flavor. The Apple Oatmeal cookie is quite special too, with an apple pie filling and a more-crispy oatmeal exterior. They have a few bar stools outside to sit on, but not a ton of space to hang out. You can get decent sized a side of milk for $2, and there's a deal on the cookies once you buy 5, otherwise they are $3.50/cookie. A nice treat!
Very tiny but cute little store. You can easily miss it if you are walking too fast. Since it’s so small, it can quickly fill up with people and lines will form outside. Luckily, the staff are quick, and lines move smoothly. There are a couple of bar chairs in front of the store but beware as it is directly underneath an AC unit. We sat down and promptly got rained on by the water from the AC unit. As you walk by the shop, you smell the delicious cookies being baked. How could you not buy a cookie? The cookies are quite large as it should be for almost $4 a cookie. At first glance, they remind me of biscuit with their size and shape. Since the cookies are large and dense, the inside is gooier than a normal cookie. For me, I found the cookies to be quite delicious but a tad too sweet. It’s the type of cookie you must eat with a tall glass of milk or a piping hot cut of coffee. I love that you can see the cookies as they come out of the oven. Apparently, they only sell four flavors each day and they rotate the combinations. When I went, they had chocolate chip, Funfettie, S’Mores, and peanut butter chocolate cookies. You can check online ahead of time to see what flavors are available for that day. Also, if you buy five cookies, the sixth one is free.
Good cookies that are warm, big, and straight outta the oven. Downside though is that they are quite pricey at $3.50 per cookie, and the wait time can be very long. Waited 30 minutes for the next batch of chocolate chips to come out! Meanwhile the person in front of me bought 6! Maybe there should be a limit? Coffee isn't that great
Always a treat to come here and resist getting more cookies than needed. If you buy 5 you get 1 free :) Flavors change daily, but chocolate chip is always available. My favorite ones were during Thanksgiving. One thing that I find irritating (besides waiting in long line) is that they only allow 1 customer at a time, so even if you are a party of two one can come in look at the menu and pick a cookie, go out and then let the other one in.
My friend and I love this shop. Their cookie prices are cheaper than the Manhattan Chip City’s however their staff can be rude at times. We are Chip City enthusiast; we get chip city at least 3-4 times a month, if not more. I hope management conducts proper training for staff on how to treat customers especially considering the size of their location when waiting for cookies. The one staffer in a “don’t annoy me tone” stated we had to wait inside for 15 minutes to get cookies meanwhile, the cookies were distributed in 4 minutes. The cookies are amazing. Definitely worth the trip to pick up cookies. Check out their Instagram for their weekly cookie menu.
Went there to get the wife 2 cookies the girl rudely said you should buy 3 cookies it’s cheaper so I’m like okay I guess that’s fine. Wasn’t cheaper it was a upsell the third cookie was like a quarter cheaper but whatever I didn’t even complain. Got home all three cookies were old and hard then I realized it was closing time so they just wanted to dump the last old hard cookies on me. What a disappointment because when they first opened the quality and service was very good.
Since last week, was craving for fresh warm cookies that came out of oven. Yesterday I stopped by to Chip NYC Astoria since I was around that area. Brought 5 cookies and got one free. Last time I was there i didnt like funfetti so i didn't get it. I got cookies & cream, blueberry cheesecake & chocolate chip cookie. It seems like chocolate chip cookie it's popular!! I waited 10 mins for chocolate chip. The time I went it wasn't busy but while waiting for chocolate chip there was getting busier. It's tiny spaced cookie store. Only three seats inside and two seats outside. Cookies & cream: Was delicious but a little sweet. Blueberry cheesecake & chocolate chip cookie: It was the bomb especially chocolate chip!! So much chocolate chip in every bite of the cookie. Tip: Be there earlier if you want to get your cookies! The line gets long and crowded. Update: what I experienced TODAY.. Last time I was there to chip nyc to get cookies because I was so craving for it! And which I was today too again but I felt a little disappointed. This morning around 11:45am I decided to stop by and get cookies. The cookies weren't (HOT) it felted like it was left out for long time. Last time it was hot and really good but this time was sad. Everyday the cookies is different. Today I got smores, butterscotch, walnut chocolate chip cookie. I tried smores cookie it was okay. After one cookie I stopped eating it because it wasn't hot as last time. I ordered Ice coffee large last time I was there it was pretty good but this time it was meh.. Second update: After hearing about strawberry shortcake was coming out Saturday & Sunday on Instagram I decided to stop by 11:30. Holy cow it was long line! It was 11:30 in just 30 min they were out strawberry shortcake. So one of the guy came out of store and said only 2 per person for strawberry shortcake due to long line. I actually came for strawberry shortcake and triple chocolate when it was my turn to order they were out and I had to wait again and again. An 1 hour and 30 min for cookies of wait was it worth it for me? Actually did not because of strawberry shortcake! I really had high hopes on this one but again, again and again with disappointment. I really loved triple chocolate. Last two time I was there to get cookies the triple one wasn't there. The strawberry shortcake the cookies was undercooked! Its not fully done! The cookies were just falling apart. Sad sad sad very sad. Next time new release for cookies I will just pass it on It wasnt worth it waiting for them after not fully done with the cookies.
Ordered 4 chocolate chip cookies. Not impressed at all. Needs to be sweeter saltier and chewier. It tastes too dense, crispy and doughy somehow all at the same time. It’s also entirely way too large. Idk why certain establishments are obsessed with making these gargantuan cookies but then forget to focus on the flavor and texture. Like thanks for the value but it still doesn’t taste great. You’ve only accomplished giving me an even larger mediocre chocolate chip cookie. Insomnia Cookies is better than this place. If you want an actual good chocolate chip cookie, go to Culture Espresso or 7 Grams in NYC. THAT is what it should taste like. Even LeVain is way better than this if you must have a baseball sized cookie. Unfortunately, I am still searching for anything decent in my neighborhood of Astoria. Why is this so damn hard to find? People trying way to hard with the simplest of cookies smh 🤦🏻♂️
The cookies were delicious, but the service was terrible. The girl who served us was very rude. To begin with, we had to wait to be served. I understand that her job involves other tasks besides serving customers, but she should know that customer service is her priority, and when she did serve us, she did so very reluctantly. I wouldn't go back to that place.
