Reliably, my all time favorite restaurant. Their Greek salad (with amazing homemade dressing and very fresh veggies) is amongst my top 5 favorite meals I’ve ever had (and continue to have). It is a go to spot. And on top of that, the staff really are the kindest folks who work very hard. Love this place.

I thought I knew good food, but that was before I met George and went to family corner. This place is the greatest. The caliber of food, ambience, and the family vibe is unparalleled. From the delicious omelettes and crispy home fries / tater tots to the sweet rice crispy delights that they make in-house - this is the best diner in Astoria, and probably NYC. Perfect for a weekend morning with the family or a mid-day bite with a friend, Family Corner is a staple.

I’ve been going to Family Corner for as long as I can remember. Never and do mean never have been disappointed with anything I’ve eaten there. Breakfast is fabulous & their lunch & dinner specials during the week are excellent. I’ve recommended this place so many time I can’t remember. The owners are something special and should be recognized and complimented if you see them. I would say enjoy your meals but I already know you did!!

This is hands down the best Greek diner I’ve ever been to and I've been to hundreds. It's a true local spot; great prices and even better food. It feels like an extension of home. It used to be a regular spot for me when I lived in the neighborhood. Even after all these years, I still think about the people, the atmosphere, and the delicious food. I always find an excuse to stop by for lunch when ever I can.

Words can’t describe how much I love this place. No pun intended, but they really treat you like family. I always get the Greek salad with chicken because I am in my skinny girl era, and it is perfect every time. You must try their pancakes, though; they get the batter from some place in Chicago, and it is heavenly. Can’t wait for fat girl fall to indulge in a stack.

This has been our go to restaurant in Astoria for nearly 15 years. We love it so much and my 8 year old would like to point out it is her favorite restaurant! Ask about the semi secret menu item “French cakes” and you’ll be glad you did!!

Diners are dying breed but fortunately Family Corner is one of the last standing in Astoria and it is nothing short of perfect. The staff is pleasant and the owner is always cracking jokes with everyone. Food is reasonably priced, with generous portions and they are QUICK. If the charcoal grilled chicken told me to jump I would simply respond “how high?”

I always pass by this corner restaurant since we moved 4 months ago when my husband told me that he used to come here as a kid and that they have the best souvlaki. Finally came here to try brunch! Tried this place for the first time on Wednesday and came back on Saturday, it was delicious! Affordable options for a couple or group. The pancakes were light, fluffy and tasty. Loved the egg platter, great value. Staff both days were funny and personable, truly a neighborhood gem!

This place is small. It’s got cute neighborhood vibes and is quite popular. We sat down to eat and staff were friendly. Not a lot of vegetarian but the falafels were great as well as the salad. You get a lot of food for the price. If we’re down by ditmars again we would eat here again.

Had an amazing experience here on a Saturday morning around 10 30am, 5 minute wait for 3 people but ymmv. Small no frills diner that's got about 8-10 booths/tables and counter seats. Very attentive servers and owner(?) was super nice guy who kept cracking jokes and chatting with us. Food was better than other diners I've tried in the area and cheaper. Can't go wrong with a platter with eggs + meat and the milkshake was great. Just wish the sausages were the big juicy kind, but they still looked good. Will definitely be coming back!

The name says it all - come here a few times and you’re treated like family. I was fortunate enough to live a few feet away from this place a few years ago and my family and I would come here at least once a week and the food and atmosphere kept us coming back. Now, we live over 3000 miles away, but always make sure to stop by when we are in town. Be sure to check out the daily specials, they, along with the charcoal chicken, are undoubtedly one of the best deals in the city. Finally, don’t forget to read George’s jokes (one of the owners) while at the register. I cannot say enough about this place and always look forward to coming back.

DISRESPECTFUL NASTY HOSTESS/ OWNER! STEER FROM ORDERING! A restaurant that can’t follow the costumer is always right we’ll be shutting down sooner or later. I order for delivery, 2 coffees, a side of bacon and 3 toasts. The first time I called I forgot to add the toast in the order so I called again. He told me the first time I called, the order is $10.16, no problem. I called the second time and he DID NOT in form me on the price change. I get the order delivered to me to it being $16 because of 3 toast. $6 for 3 toast? I didnt have the cash so I called back to put it on card but asked why is it $16. He responded back with disrespect “ oh you thoguht it was going to be free” no I knew it was going to be a charge but not $16 because of 3 toast. I said “ no I get that but you could have informed me” and he said “no you thought it was going to be free? Get out of here” Then HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME. I was kindly talking to him, called back to put it on card. Then I had my boyfriend call back, he talked to him nicely as well “ my girlfriend called etc” the guy responded back with “give us the $16 dollars and this is going to be the last time you order food” Charging me the whole price of what they buy for a loaf of sliced white bread. I had the money to pay. I saved money and they just lost a sale. DISRESPECTFUL OWNER, hanging up on a costumer is unprofessional as well.
