We stayed at One Ocean resort for our 10th year wedding anniversary. I learned that the restaurant Azurea is available to people not only staying at One Ocean resort but to everyone! Absolutely amazing service and relaxing vibes. Our waiter Evan was unbelievable. So personable. He was very attentive and provided great recommendations. We ordered crab cakes, ceasar salad, the chilean sea bass, and filet. Everything had immense flavor with beautiful presentation. Evan packed us a chocolate cake to-go for our anniversary at the very end because we were so stuffed. We definitely will be coming back. P.S. I wish we took more pictures of the food but this was the amazing caesar salad.
We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant a lot. The staff where fun and friendly. Service was on point. We where a lil disappointed to find the have 3 separate menus. We want to try the swordfish but that was on the dinner menu and we had arrived for lunch. However we enjoyed the lunch we got. The price for the Mahi Mahi price was a lil' high for what it was. The chicken wrap was nice. I enjoyed the sauce. It added a new flavor for a some what "basic" food item. You can get chicken wraps anywhere and they are all nearly kinda the same.
We came here last month for our anniversary brunch and our server Glen was amazing! The food was delicious and the views were wonderful!
We had breakfast at Azurea and Jay was the best server. He was so helpful and kind. He truly went above and beyond. He made the entire experience so relaxing and we were so thankful for him.
Absolutely stunning! The decor, the high quality meals (you're gonna spend approx.$200 with drinks & dessert), the service...all perfect. I will certainly be returning soon! 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Wonderful food! Large portions! Exceptional service. Sorry I didn’t take more photos! $651.25 including the 22% mandatory gratuity for 7 adults. The restaurant is inside a hotel. They had complimentary valet. Thank you!
We came here to celebrate a birthday and I must say the entire evening was just wonderful. All our dishes were simply delicious and service was great due to Brian. We will definitely be back here again.
The ambiance was amazing as well as the food. I had the seabass and creme brulee. Kory was my waiter and he was very knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely return.
Located within One Ocean Resort, Azurea has great ambiance, food, and service. Service from Evan was such a treat. He went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience and lovely conversation. We loved his little witty jokes and he was such a kind guy. 10/10 would recommend!
The food was amazing. The service was great even when it took awhile they went out of their way to accommodate and take care of you. Would definitely recommend it!
What a great experience! Sarai, the host, was super accommodating when seating us, and our waiter Tori gave us excellent service. We shared two meals, the garden omelet and the banana bread french toast, and she had them brought out already portioned out for us! Amazing service, excellent food, and a beautiful hotel! 10/10 I'm recommending this place to all my family.
I’ve always wanted to visit this place, and I finally made it for Prime Rib Wednesday—and it did not disappoint! I heard their executive chef has an impressive background, having worked at renowned hotels like the Four Seasons and other luxury resorts in Hawaii and Orlando. It’s no surprise the prime rib was exceptional—perfectly cooked with that beautiful color I love. The sauce was absolutely divine. I also really enjoyed their unique take on house horseradish and the delicious side dish. The service was impeccable, and the view made it even more memorable. I’ll definitely be back on Wednesdays—and other days too! Thank you for such a magical experience!
My husband and I went to Azurea to celebrate his birthday and from the moment we walked in we were in awe. The aesthetics were stunning— felt like you were walking into an underground water tunnel. So beautiful! The hostess was very welcoming and kind, she even gave us a birthday card signed by the staff — SO thoughtful! ☺️ our waiter Brian was absolutely the best! He provided superb service and even gave us a dessert on him ❤️ And lastly the food — it was divine!! From the appetizers to the main course and the drinks and dessert! Highly recommend for a special date night!
Brian was a fantastic server. Every single bar drink we had was fantastic (and strong). The chef specials appetizers were amazing. The scallops and sea bass, to die for. This place has some of, if not the best, food we have ever enjoyed. Make sure to request Brian. Amazing.
Azurea at One Ocean Blvd is worth the visit. Recently, we celebrated our anniversary and decide on dinner at Azurea. Starting with the front of house staff, every effort was made to ensure the evening was special. Brian is one of the classiest hosts/servers one could ask for. He made an enjoyable time even better, explaining the menu, then allowing time to settle in. We also really appreciated the thoughtful surprise. Highly recommended, and we plan to return soon!
My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner and let me start by saying that Anita made our evening wonderful! Very beautiful atmosphere, the food was delicious. Anita recommended the pear martini with Parmesan and I am so glad I took her word for it… absolutely amazing. She brought out key lime cheesecake for our anniversary and it was the best I’ve ever had. I honestly could go on and on. A wonderful experience all around. Anita, thank you for excellent service.
We were married at One Ocean 3 years ago and returned, last night, for our annual anniversary dinner. This is the first time that we’ve eaten out in 6 months!! We sat outside and our experience was perfect! Hannah was our server and she was amazing! She had great recommendations and took about a dozen pictures for us! Our meals, drinks and dessert were fantastic. Overall a wonderful experience. I should also note that the man working valet was great as well!! Thank you!
A Jacksonville Treasure!!! Nestled in the back of a beautiful spa, this public restaurant is worth the hunt. The ambiance was BREATHTAKING! The Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop was perfect. Our waiter was superb, and he recommended the fresh fish trio which was a treat for our palates. It was not overpriced either in my opinion. My husband and I will definitely visit this memorable establishment the next time we are in Jacksonville, Fla.
A true Cinderella evening with dining at its finest in Atlantic Beach. Drive up easy valet, waltz down the beautiful stone stacked archway. Slip into a comfy romantic booth and prepare your tastebuds. Each bite was decedent. Every morsel delicious. The only thing that could’ve and should’ve been added was candlelight.
We enjoyed the "High Tea" event that they had. The tea and coffee select was great as well as the Champagne. The sandwiches were really awesome and of course the deserts. It was a different kind of event and we really appreciated the service as well. Going out to the beach after was a plus as well...
We went here for breakfast but got there too late. However, it was a great find! It's right by the beach, about a 1 minute walk. The place smells noticeably great when you walk inside. The service rivals the best that we have ever experienced. The food was amazing! We recommend checking it out. Next time we are in time, we'll try to get there early enough for the breakfast.
It is a must if you are in Jax Beach. We went to celebrate my husband’s 29th birthday. The place is gorgeous. The service is outstanding. The food was delicious. My husband had the mushroom risotto and I had the grouper fish. Both were well prepared and nicely served. They noticed I was pregnant and brought a complementary cider and asked us to pick two desserts from their menu (also complimentary). We were too full for two desserts, so we went with one, the flourless chocolate cake. They brought the cake with two chocolate tabs and a candle. One tab said Happy Birthday and the other Congratulations. I was speechless. They were eatables. Without a doubt, This is a 5 starts restaurant. We had a great date.
Kicked off a relaxing weekend with Ryan and Danny at the bar and their great service and cocktail recommendations. Deciding we would stay for dinner, hostess Tia was adorable and super friendly and then our awesome waitress Anita too super great care of us! She even brought lemons and limes without having to ask! Who does that?!? The breads and accompaniments were perfect and that chutney!!! We decided on the sea bass w/ an amazing key lime sauce and the mixed grill, which was beyond perfect and probably one of the best seafood dishes I’ve had in the area. We took some key lime pie back to the room, but not before Anita brought us the most lovely little assortment of chocolates, which were all fantastic and a fun little Azurea spice pack. Great way to kick off our mini-beach vacay! Super service and food!
I celebrated my birthday at the One Ocean Resort and during my stay I enjoyed dining at Azurea, Tori was amazing, from her service to her personality, it was a pleasure meeting her! Thank you One Ocean and Tori for the most amazing birthday experience!!!
Banana Bread French Toast and Lobster Roll were both really good! We split the plates so it's only half portions shown in the photos.
Absolutely impeccable service with Anita! Fabulous food with our scallops risotto choice. Quality liquor too! Most enjoyable dinner an elegant restaurant right at the hotel! Preceded by Happy Hour outside in the covered area.
We loved the atmosphere, the beverage selections, and the unique food selections at Azurea. There is beach acces too! The service was excellent. A+ Rating! We will definitely come back.
Ate breakfast here our first morning of our weekend in town. It was amazing. My wife went the traditional breakfast route, whereas I went a little bolder with their Chorizo and shrimp with sunny side up eggs for breakfast. So amazing! I could've eaten this all day and not be tired of it. The flavors just complemented each other really well.
Everything about this place was great. It is a small restaurant very quaint and intimate. Great for a romantic date. This was a Anniversary for us. All of our food was good. I know I had Basa. The dessert shown Vanilla Creme Brulee. I would return visit.
We ate here 3 times in a row last time we were here in Jacksonville. The menu was varied, fish, pasta, meats, and lots of options. We enjoyed the ocean view at dinner and the calm, clean, and quiet restaurant atmosphere. When we stayed at the One Ocean Resort, there were days we never left the hotel property and had such a great time.
This is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining in. The meal was exquisite and the service excellent. We were well looked after by our server, Ryan. It was a fabulous family dinner where we all had a lovely time.
I have had the pleasure of going to Azurea multiple times throughout my time living in Jacksonville, and one constant that I have to share is that Ms. Lizeth, one of the amazing waitresses here, has ALWAYS been so kind to us! She is amazing and the one reason I come back time and time again. Thank you, Lizeth! 🤍🤍🤍
What a wonderful experience. I celebrated my 50th with friends and even got a birthday card from them. Thank you so much. We love your breakfast. And Lizeth was amazing!!
My husband and I stayed at the One Ocean hotel for a week and ate breakfast at Azurea a couple of times. Besides the Mayport Sunrise being a delicious combination of chorizo, shrimp, eggs and potato, our server Lizeth made it to be a lovely experience; always with a smile and a delicate way to herself.
Stayed at the resort and decided to walk down to the restaurant for dinner. I was blown away by the quality of food and service. Everything was excellent and perfect portions. A definite must when you're in the area! Try the crab cake!
This restaurant is beautiful and the service is empeccable. My wife had the crab cake and I had the chicken and waffles because I never had it before. The food was good and I think my wife enjoyed hers a bit more than me but I will definitely come back because want to try the seafood cobb salad.
What a fantastic spot! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the Grilled Shrimp Louis was a definite highlight. Huge shout-out to our bartender for her attentive and friendly service. Highly recommend! 🦐 😍"
My friend and I had stopped by for Brunch at Azurea and it was delicious along with amazing service. Our server Tori was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I ordered the pork benedict alongside an Aperol spritz which were both refreshing and savory. Next time I am in town, I would love to try Azurea for dinner!
I came here for lunch with my mom and we had the absolute best experience thanks to our server, Tori. She went above and beyond to make our meal feel special — she was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Tori took the time to chat with us, made great recommendations, and somehow seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. It turned an ordinary lunch into a really memorable afternoon for both of us. Thank you, Tori, for making our day! We’ll definitely be back.
Just finished breakfast on our 1st morning here and we could not be happier. The food was delicious, even though it was pricey for a basic egg, bacon and potatoes breakfast but our server Tori was TOP NOTCH. She greeted us with a smile, bubbly personality and attention to detail was very much appreciated. She brought us both "to go" coffees before we even asked. Service was impressive.... thank you Tori for making our morning bright. We will be back!!!
My husband and I came here the day after Christmas to celebrate our last dating anniversary. We just got married this year, but we've been together for 7 years, so we figured we'd celebrate it one more time. Our server was very nice and helpful. We got the crabcake appetizer to start, which was good. My Mahi was fresh and delicious. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my husband wasn't crazy about his pork chop. It was a bit dry. The creme brulee was well done, and we appreciated the anniversary flair. There was also a port wine cocktail, which I haven't really seen anywhere else. It was amazing. I would come back for that alone.
We tried the sea bass, tenderloin and the scallops. The scallops were really good, great flavors, cooked well and good portion size, highly recommend. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was a good one. The ambiance is perfect and I highly recommend sitting a booth for a more intimate experience.
Came here for the location + look of the restaurant on my anniversary. It was relatively empty, so we expected a smooth dinner service. Our waitress was kind, but we had long wait times, which was confusing cause the place was nearly empty. We were excited to have an intimate, romantic dinner and had let the staff know it was our anniversary, but a family of 4 were seated next to us with screaming children who ended up being so loud, that it ruined the experience for us. We got the sea bass and grouper specials, and both were accompanied with underwhelming sides, such as the Yukon gold mousse that gave kind of a weird texture with the sea bass. We’ve toured most all of Jacksonville’s fine dining experiences and as close as this is to the beach, we weren’t impressed and probably will not be returning. Also we had two tequila shots (Casamigos Reposado), which came out to $50. I didn’t pay that much for the same shots in NYC, so I was surprised it cost so much here, where the service definitely left us wanting.
The food was really good and full of flavor, the menu is a little hard to read but the food and service was nice. The atmosphere in the open seating area was extremely loud however the overall environment of the place is nice and laid back. The people were really nice and friendly. I wish there was a keke more variety of drinks on the menu- particularly something sweet lol. I'd definitely visit again.
Prices are extremely high especially for a hotel type. Way over priced . Food choice is good but taste is mediocre at best. Eggs on my crabcake benedict was supposed to be pouched and it was fried!! Coffee tasted horrible. Better off with the k-cup coffee in the room. Service was good but cant replace the quality or taste of food.
Martinis were delicious, service was good and view and atmosphere were great. The Big miss was on dinner. I ordered the Caesar salad and mayport bbq shrimp. My partner ordered the mushroom risotto. Caesar was decent but nothing special around $18, could have used some black pepper and better croutons. mayport shrimp came with 3 large shrimp overcooked and drenched in their house made bbq sauce which tasted like burnt Worcestershire. It also included three slices of baguette- not toasted or grilled but just sitting in the awful sauce. I believe it was $21. Risotto was not risotto which I guess is to be expected - but at $26 I would ant least expect some flavor. Simply- rice with peas and mushroom lacking any seasoning and not of risotto consistency. More of a gummy cheese like texture. The char grilled asparagus was undercooked , no essence of char grilled and not a pinch of seasoning. I will be back for drinks and atmosphere but would definitely not back for the food.
I only took a picture of my dessert because it was really good and pleasant to see . My entree was red snapper bok choy and shiitake mushrooms . The snapper was really good as well as the shiitake mushrooms. The bok choy was a lil too crunchy for me . And didn’t mix well with the other sides . But overall it was great service the waiter was very nice and helped assist with every problem I had and made it right the best he could .
The outdoor seating was cool. The beach provided a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was great. The food was overpriced and not very good. Seems like a good place for drinks but I don't drink. If it wasn't for the subpar food I would go back.
The place itself is lovely- great design & layout. The food, not so much. Had the Snapper & hubby ordered the lobster & filet. Lobster was sad looking- small for $55 & the filet was not fresh, it was cooked right but has the graininess of frozen meat.
Had reservations 2 weeks in advance. The day before, they called to inform that the menu was being to be changed, to a limited menu, well knowing that you would not be able to get reservations for Valentines Day anywhere else the day before. So basically you were stuck with them. The food I am indifferent about. For the appetizer, the crab cake was not full of succulent lumped crab meat but of shredded crab, mostly filler. The collards it was on top of were good but disappointingly too sweet. Talk about a gut bomb, one of the “few” items they had was a 24oz pork chop served with grits. 24oz of meat with grits?! Well I had to try it, to my disappointment, chop was fried and bland with chili chimichurri sauce on top. Not a bit of seasoning on the meat. I had them switch the grits to another side when I ordered (one of the few they had). My company had the surf and turf, the lobster was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The dessert had a misprint on the menu. Only 4 options to choose from, I went with the lava cake because the cheesecake was infused with raspberry instead of on top, they had coconut cake, and some kind of strawberry mousse. Not a fan of raspberry, coconut cake or mousse, I went with the cake. The lava cake was more of a brownie, when I cut into it, no “lava.” The ice cream on top was more of ice milk. The best thing I probably had all night was the pecan old fashioned which could have been dinner and dessert as far as I’m concerned. The service Rei provided was great! The overall two stars represents the inconvenient menu changes at the last minute, tying our hands. If we had of known about this in advance I’m sure we would have chosen elsewhere. Not to mention not so great huge pork chop that was raved about, but was so disappointing (bland with a sauce on top). Originally, when the reservation was made, you could tell that they were going to be full. I think the menu changes deterred many people because while we were there, many of the tables were empty, and the bar with the cheeseburger and fries, seemed like the place to be.
