We had a great meal today from Amici! I read about them in the “Eat Drink To Go” group on FB where the owner had posted. It’s a family fun food truck in Buda and the food was great! The family owned a restaurant in Little Italy in NYC so they know their stuff! We had an assortment of salads, pastas, and chicken parm. Everything was great! They’ll also do a half (children’s) portion of any dish - the tortellini is a half portion and was more than enough for my daughter. We will definitely be back!

Probably the only place that has made carbonara as I remember it from when I lived in Rome. Let me tell you, carbonara was the whataburger of Rome: you ate that after a party, clubbing or drinking copious amounts of alcohol. It was my go to dish whenever I wanted pasta. To finally find a business that does it right and the traditional way, it's truly marvelous. We placed the pasta order after placing an order of wings from a different truck as we thought the pasta would take longer. No, the pasta came out in half the time of the wings from the other business (strange). The pasta was for the gf (she'd never had it) but I ate a good amount of it. She really enjoyed the pasta, bread and dipping oil. Glad this place is near as it was something the Buda/Kyle area was missing. We'll be eating there more often as they have more traditional italian dishes. If the carbonara is any indication, their other dishes must be as spectacular.

Ever been to a place that reminds you what real food should taste like? This is as authentic Italian as it gets. We drive down to Buda from Round Rock to eat here. Yes, that's how good it is! The food is amazing. Everything tastes just right. The desserts are great as well. And it is truly a locally owned family run business. I can't wait to see what Amici has in store for next year. We will be visiting them as often as we can.

Amazing food and wonderful service! The cleopatra salad is my favorite - goat cheese, candied almonds, and you can’t forget the truffle honey dressing 😋 If you add chicken they give you your money’s worth and it’s so fresh and juicy. Highly recommend!

Most authentic Italian food in the Austin area! Excellent staff and top quality dishes. As an Italian this is the only Italian restaurant I would recommend in Austin, Texas. I love Amici!!!

Tried this new local spot that is now where stonys pizza used to be. Wow, it’s like real nyc Italian food. Their bread and did is perfect; the had chicken Marsala and penne la vodka which were both fantastic. Highly recommend you try this spot out.

Stopped in for a pizza the other day and it was delicious! Got the pepperoni and mushroom- cooked perfectly. Very attentive service. Will be back! They had a great menu- can't wait to try other items.

There’s a new Italian place called Amici’s that just opened up this week. It is sharing space with Stony’s Pizza at 9521 US-290. We went to Stony’s for a calzone (NY Style) then realized we could order from both restaurants and also tried the Shrimp Marinara. Last night was Amici’s fourth night in the new space. Used to be a very popular food truck in Buda. Please support this amazing new restaurant! If you remember Verona, let’s not do that again - everyone kept it a secret so it wouldn’t get busy but in the end that forced them to move to Lakeway. Go. Eat. Introduce yourself. Then tell your friends! I promise, you won’t be sorry.

Wonderful family restaurant, homemade fennel sausage, my husband had the lasagna and i had the shrimp fra diavolo— all excellent Their grandfather’s recipe cheesecake so good.

I had an amazing dining experience! The tartufo fettuccine incredible, and starting with garlic knots perfect. With a stunning atmosphere, I would recommend this restaurant. The server was the sweetest she even explained the history of of the restaurant starting as a food truck in Buda

Wow! This family-owned Italian restaurant is a hidden gem. The moment you walk in, you know you're in for a treat. It reminds me of the cozy Italian eateries on both the West and East Coasts. While the exterior may be unassuming, the food inside is absolutely incredible. The highlight of our visit was the cheesecake for dessert. Our waitress told us that her grandpa made it, and it was the best crustless cheesecake we've ever had – perfectly balanced flavors and not too heavy. My wife and I each had pasta dishes, and they were spot on. The combination of authentic flavors and warm, welcoming service made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

We found this gem tonight on a whim. We were just looking for some Italian food not too far away from home. We stumbled upon Amici, a transplant from New York. You can see the restaurants in a transition from an old pizzeria into a more fine dining experience, but it was still really cozy. We were not disappointed by the food. I had a nice glass of red, spaghetti alla vongole, the seasonal pizza, they suggested, which was amazing. Who would’ve thought sliced brats with sauerkraut and coarse ground mustard on pizza would be so fantastic. Finished with a beautifully light cheesecake. My husband and I can’t wait to go back for the food and the friendly service.

Well, this place has ruined my Italian Dining experience. Food was so good that I forgot to take pictures. Owners are kind and attentive. Overall 10/10. Wish you continued success.

I heard wonderful reviews about Amici’s food truck in Buda & we were so excited to hear they chose to open a brick & mortar in Oak Hill! Finally an authentic Italian restaurant that doesn’t charge exorbitant prices & the food & service is superb. The family owned business just opened a month ago, we were so excited to try! The minute we walked through the door (with our wine, it’s BYOB) we were warmly welcomed by the owner! The Shrimp Fra Diablo & Eggplant were served piping hot to perfection! It was so nice to see young families dining there, the prices are family friendly just like the atmosphere! The chef, Fabrizio (owner ) stopped at our table so we could thank him personally! We thoroughly enjoyed our “date night” sharing a fantastic meal, looking forward to bringing friends there! Buon Appetito! 🍷🍝

Had a wonderful time at Amici tonight with friends! The portions were huge and the service was warm and friendly! We were welcomed in and taken care of like family. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!

Almost could not find where this food truck is established especially at night. I noticed couple more trucks that were next to each other, but decided to go for my initial plan, which was Amici. I had the Vodka pasta and Cheese sticks. They were all good. I don’t think it’s too expensive for the food relatively to the quality. Good for take outs, food came out pretty fast.

Great little Italian restaurant. Pizza place by day, sit down Italian restaurant by night. Very nice. Casual, yet fancy (but not too much). Small, but cozy. Love the fennel sausage (not quite as good as my grandpa's). Amatriciana is excellent! Just like in Rome. And the New York style cheesecake, it is very good! I don't think I've had better.

I am a repeat customer. I have gone to this place since it opened. We learned this morning that they were open for lunch on Sundays and were excited so we made plans. We began with the Mozzarella Caprese. It is a great dish to start with. The mozzarella is very fresh as well as the basil and tomatoes. The one thing about eating a caprese salad is having the freshest cheese. I lived in Naples and was able to get mozzarella balls daily. These are quite fresh. The next dish was the Spaghetti Carbonara. It is cooked perfectly with the right ingredients. Some of the local restaurants overdo it with too much cream or not enough. This is right next to perfection. And it is a large enough dish that can be shared. Finally, we had the special of the day which is Nona's Sunday sauce that included some meatballs, a rib, and Italian sausage in a bed of rigatoni pasta. The sauce was amazing. Again, living in Naples, one bite of this took me back to my Italian living. It was as if after I opened my eyes, I would see my entire Italian adopted family around me enjoying grandma's (Nona's) sauce. The meats were so tender. Bravo to the cook! Beware, this dish is only cooked on Sundays and well worth the visit. If you are looking for a great, (I DO MEAN GREAT) Italian homemade meal, put Amici in your plans. It is a simple, but yet elegant atmosphere very well worth the visit. And if you are looking to simply enjoy a bottle of wine and Italian atmosphere, come on Thursdays, wine bottles are ½ price and there is an Italian video playing on screen. Bon Appetite.

What can I say? Hands down the absolute BEST gnocchi I have ever had in 50 years on this planet. Light, fluffy, flavorful. Unbelievable. Would you expect such a high caliber entree from a location tucked into a strip mall alongside 290? No of course not, BUT within 5 minutes of exchanging small talk with the very welcoming female owner, I learned that the place has a serious LEGIT provenance as the family had a well-established restaurant in NYC for years. You can tell. From the first bite of gnocchi I knew she was absolutely telling me the truth. Where this place excels - cozy up to the bar and enjoy a glass of wine with the best Italian food in Hill Country - maybe even all of Austin. It has that cozy family feel at the bar. Dining room looked little sterile and loud, but the service appears on point. They are clearly doing the best they can with the space. The bar section and takeout is where I’ll no doubt be regular. I think the prices show value for portion size and given that everything is homemade with top notch ingredients. This is quality Italian. NOT Olive Garden darlin. Bravo to the owners and staff. This place is a welcome addition to Dripping Springs / Hill Country.

Had a lovely date night dining in at Amici. We went on a Thursday, having made a reservation, and we had a cute reserved table waiting for us. Our waitress was actually one of the owners, as their waitress had called in, and apologized that she wasn’t very good - she was lovely and treated us amazingly! Service was fantastic; there was a gentleman who worked there who was helping her and he was kind, courteous and considerate. The space is shared with Stony’s pizza, which we didn’t realize from the outside. It is also BYOB, which was fine as we weren’t intending to drink. Bread and oil was delicious. The appetizer was bread with cheese and capers and butter; I found the fried bread to be a little too soggy (still with good flavor) but my partner loved it. Both pasta dishes were very good, especially the giulio. I would probably get the cacio de pepi again without chicken (the sauce was incredible but I didn’t love the chicken texture). We also got a large hot honey meat and goat cheese pizza from the Stonys menu, which was really flavorful and huge. All the portions were large and reasonably priced, and we actually had enough leftovers for us to eat for two more dinners. Would callout the checks came separately from Amici and Stonys, so take that into consideration if you are using the inkind app or similar. Overall really delightful experience and food, and it looks like they have varied weekly specials so definitely interested in coming back to try more! One callout would be that the checks come sep

May 17, 2025 - This was our second visit to Amici. We began the meal with a Montepulciano red wine from Italy and a mozzarella Caprise, both of which were very good. My Wife chose the special of the day, lobster raviolis, which were divine. I chose the chicken Parmesan, which was also very very good. We finished our meal with a tiramisu dessert. The husband and wife duo that run this restaurant take meticulous care, ensuring that their guests have a five star dining experience. If you're ever in the area, please give this restaurant a try. We give it five stars.

Cute spot! We're always looking for a great Italian spot. We went here at lunch not knowing that it's only pizzas and salads until 5. We'll have to go back to try the pastas and other entrees. The pizzas, salad, and garlic knots we had were really good! Great crust and sauce. The atmosphere inside was really nice too! Our server (who also appeared to be doing the cooking) was polite and attentive. We'll definitely be back. I believe the chalk board signage said they do half priced bottles of wine on Thursday and steaks on Wednesday night.

We came on a Sunday evening and it was relaxing atmosphere. On certain nights they have events like dancing, I’m sure it would be a fun event to go to. The food is made from scratch with a lot of traditional recipes from Naples, Italy. I enjoyed the garlic knots, mussels in white sauce, and Fettuccini Guilio Cesare the most. You have to order the hazelnut dessert and the cannoli -both amazing. Shout out to our servers Blane and Charlie who were so friendly and accommodating. The owners are also so sweet and kind. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Hubby had the Fettuccine al Tartufo. It was absolutely delicious. I got the Cleopatra salad for starters. One of the best salads I’ve ever had and Spaghetti Bolognese for my entree. Also yum. Our wait person, Sofia, was extremely attentive. I love the upscale but still comfortable vibe of the restaurant. We topped it off with a GIGANTIC piece of homemade cheesecake. Chef’s kiss.

Our waiter this evening wasNick, he did an outstanding job. The owner actually came at one time to bring us our meatball appetizers, and it was amazing. We both had pasta dishes that were very, very good. I highly recommend this place, and make sure and have a reservation. We did and everything went seamless. Also, the cannoli and the cheesecake were to die for. Really enjoyed it!!!!

I have been here several times, but recently went for food to go. It's very nice inside with tablecloths and flowers at the tables. Food is REAL Italian and it's GREAT. The people that work there are the owners and they care about their restaurant. I will keep going back to try more dishes. I've had their pizza, Lasagna, seafood pasta, spaghetti and meatballs, and desserts. All dishes are spectacular. OMG the cheesecake!

What a lovely surprise! Our experience at Amici far exceeded our expectations. We each tried a different pasta dish and all were wonderfully made. It’s not often that you find a true carbonara. I would advise a reservation for Friday or Saturday evening. We did not have a reservation and sat at the bar. It was a wonderful place for us to sit because it allowed us some personal time with the owner. We will definitely put this on our frequent rotation of restaurants.

After my mostly negative review, the restaurant's owner, Elpida Sarnacchiaro, reached out to me and asked us to give Amici's another chance, and also sent me a gift certificate. THIS is what great customer service is all about! We went with friends last night and had a truly wonderful meal with great service. We really appreciated the extra mile. Upping my ratings and saying "thank you," to Elpida for caring so much about your customers!!! ________________________________________________ I was so excited to eat at Amici, as I knew the owners previously had a restaurant in NYC, where I am from. I was even more pleased to find out, once there, that they owned one of my favorite and "go to" restaurants back in the day, Amici II! My husband took me there for my birthday last week, but alas, our experience was extremely disappointing. Food was good, but the service was neglectful at best - one server and back, with the owner bestowing her presence on those she deemed important. My husband and I were sharing two salads - a Caesar and a Caprese. They never bothered to bring plates, so we had to eat it off the serving dish. We then waited almost 45 minutes for our next course. By the time our mains came, mine was quite tepid, but flagging down our server was nearly impossible, and no one came to check on how our meal was. We ordered their famous crustless cheesecake for dessert, one of my favorites from back in the day... They knew it was my birthday, and when it came, I expressed my sadness that there was no candle. I had already taken a bite, annoyed, the server asked if I wanted to get staff to come and sing - I said no - and then he took my cheesecake back to throw a candle on it. Kind of anti-climactic. Very bummed about the whole experience - definitely a far cry from the NYC restaurant.

J
Jessica Moorhead

We came here for date night and really enjoyed ourselves. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. Can’t understand reviews saying that the service wasn’t good. Maybe try being ever so slightly patient. The highlight of course was the homemade cheesecake! One of the best I’ve had and that’s coming from the daughter of a pastry chef! We’ll definitely be back.

This restaurant was amazing. I made a reservation for a rehearsal dinner of 35 people and they did not disappoint. Food is great, owners were so kind, staff and environment were so welcoming and nice. I would definitely come back and recommend coming here, a lot better than olive garden with good portioned meals and fresh!

It was a happy accident that a business associate and I found Amici. Food was fantastic and they had a young man playing 50’s standards solo, with a great voice. Over a great vibe, great food and great service. I will return on my next trip to the Austin area. A thank you to ownership for their warm hospitality.

Had a wonderful late lunch/early dinner on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The creamy bolognese dish I had was great. The prosciutto totally lifted the sauce. Conversation with Blane, the Chianti, wonderful and meeting Chef “Fab”, easier to remember and say was a bonus! I will return!

Wonderful food, excellent atmosphere and most importantly incredible service. My girlfriend and I stopped by right in the middle of their dinner rush. With only the owner and one server handling the whole floor, we were never left waiting or feeling left behind during the course of our meal. The owner (not sure of her name) and staff were all top notch. Even with the busy rush going on they did an incredible job. Textbook definition of a great family owned restaurant!

L

Just had a wonderful dinner at Amici Ristorante Pizzeria. We enjoyed Chianti, Cleopatra salad, Penne Amatriciana, Fettuccine Giulio Cesare, and Jimmy’s amazing cheesecake. This restaurant has an unobtrusive location but a fresh inviting atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. I can’t wait to take my family to share this dining experience.

Amazing food - the server, Blane, was on the ball and also not pressing us to order or leave. Chicken parm tasted like back home on the east coast - an excellent change to finally find homemade Italian in the Austin area.

E

Amici is amazing! The chicken parm was hands down one of the best I’ve had, and the mussels in white wine sauce were so fresh and delicious. The bread with oil was perfect for dipping – couldn’t get enough. The owners came out to say hi and were so friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Such a great vibe and an awesome spot all around. Definitely coming back!

Holy smokes! I'd give 10 stars if possible! Elpida & Fabrizio and the Amici Staff were phenomenal. We had my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at their place and they went above and beyond to make it special. The pacing was perfect (they asked beforehand), the food was to die for (our compliments to the chef!) and the service impeccable! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Every person in our party loved the food. I personally had the pesto gnocchi and thought I was in heaven. The burrata with peaches, pistachios and honey special was a table favorite as were the garlic knots. Several people raved about the lasagna, as well! The newlyweds plan to visit again on their 1 year anniversary!!!!

C

We came to Amici because the other place we wanted was fully booked, and we’re so glad it worked out this way. Blaine was a fantastic server—super attentive and friendly, especially with our party of 7. The food honestly reminded us of home (NJ and Pennsylvania), which was such a great surprise. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

The chef is AMAZING!!! Not only was the pasta fresh and handmade, it was cooked to al dente perfection, well balanced, and every mouthful delizioso! The fennel sausage was scrumptious. Definitely try the tartufo and the puttanesca. Mangia!

J

The food and service were both excellent. The atmosphere is upper casual, not quite fine dining, which was perfect for our casual family night. We had the meatball appetizer, carbonara, and Bianca pizza. All were excellent and the pizza was especially a highlight. We learned that they moved here from NYC recently, which explained why the pizza was so amazing. Blaine provided excellent service and was very attentive to us. The owner also came over and introduced herself and gave us a holiday gift. We will definitely be returning.

J
John U Guzel

Great service, happy faces and good pasta. My only concern is price and size.Sizes are small and prices are high. When you go to restaurant it’s ok but $10 for plain pasta from a food truck bit high I think. Because there is no experience, no service, no ambiance. Dine with the flies and bugs on wooden table. Guys I’m not complaining, you can put any price tag you want but for your bright future work on your re-costing. Saying again your products are good but revise it please!

M
Medha N

Amazing place & delicious food! What else would one need?! Their Bianca pizza was just yum! Their cheese stands out and is just amazing! You’ll definitely crave for more! Absolutely worth it! Do try and enjoy!

K

The food was very delicious, except for the desserts. The marinara could’ve had a little bit more flavor. The service was extremely good, and the waiter was very attentive. Make sure you try the desserts. We had the crème brûlée and cannoli. What if my pet peeves is that they take the tip off of the total which includes tax. You should not get tips off of tax . To me this is unethical.

L

Great food, felt very welcome. Sofia’s suggestions were so good! Will come back for sure!

We went out with a few friends to have dinner and decided to try this new restaurant in our area.. Even though it’s in a strip mall, we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the atmosphere was and how good the acoustics were for conversation. We enjoyed a number of appetizers, the Barada and the nice chewy garlic bread “knots” and we all had delicious and varied plates of pasta. Despite being Pretty full, we decided to indulge in a shared dessert of cheesecake, which an elderly gentleman named Jimmy has been making for 40 years. It was so good. Our waiter Blane was attentive and friendly. I wanted to be share a review since I want this restaurant to be here so we can return again soon to enjoy another meal and evening!

Went here on a date night and thought it was okay. What went well: - The Miele Caldo Pizza was great - Cheesecake was light and fluffy - The rolls came in a large portion - Atmosphere was really nice What could be improved: - The Carbonara lacked flavor and texture, given this is an Italian restaurant, I expected more - Service could also be improved, the resturant wasn't packed, and even then, they didn't consistently refill drinks unless prompted several times

A
Anthony

Okay. The Cleopatra salad was tasty. The Eggplant Parmaesan didn't excite the palate or nose. They were out of lasagna and it was fairly early in the evening and the restaurant wasn't crowded. Plus, there is a 3% surcharge when you use a credit card (that I wasn't aware of until after I'd paid).

B
Brett Hrncir

Not impressed. Very slow service. VERY slow. Manager had to take our order. 4 of us. 3 dishes were bland. And looked mediocre, at best. Plain pasta, shrimp plain, chicken plain. No color or flavor. Imagine your 12 year old kid cooking you a spaghetti dinner in a microwave: One with plain shrimp on top. Another with plain chicken on top. Then charge you $25 for it. Not impressed. But their pizza is always good. Order that. The atmosphere is good, though. Intimate small restaurant. Maybe 12 tables. Clean. Had a western movie on at the bar when the Olympics and big basketball games but.... Light music in the background - perfect. I might go there again but this time wasn't memorable.

T
TM

Definitely not Cedro’s scratch Italian. The menu at Amici’s is overpriced for what it is. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was frozen fatty chicken and store bought pasta. I have no idea how this place has 5 stars... maybe it was an off day?! It was so bad that i only had a few bites, the fat chicken cubes grossed me out. 😖

C
Cassie Flinn

Super bummed because it was our first time trying this place and I was excited to see what it was all about! I did a phone in order for pickup. 1) I asked for peas in my pasta and the lady co formed they had them and I was charged. No peas. 2) I ordered the margarita pizza add pepperoni. I opened it at home and there was ZERO basil on the pizza. So just a mediocre light cheese with pepperonis on top :( 3) I asked and need to double check, for extra sauce on the side with our cheesecake… nope, that was missing. Lastly, the ranch was either old or a super low quality bottle store bought ranch. I was VERY surprised they don’t make their own ranch dressing. If they do, they need to check the expiration because it’s a sour taste and just all wrong. Super bummed.

Avoid this place. Room temperature food, never got our drinks or red pepper flakes, despite multiple polite requests. Felt truly ignored and disrespected. Will not go back. What a disappointment.

$8 up charge to add 3 shrimp is BEYOND ridiculous. These prices are why the place is empty. The food itself was so salty I couldn’t eat it. $35 right into the garbage. I’ve been here a few times before but this will be my last visit. $35 for a single pasta dish??? Best of luck with those prices at this quality.

I was excited to try this. Super disappointed. It was very expensive and the food was not good. We waited an hour and half for our food. All and all too overpriced for the quality of food. Worst meal I have had in a very long time.

Came in Thursday October 23rd for a 7:30 reservation. Food was great and came out quick, But service was abysmal… server sat us and never brought us menus or water, had to ask the buss girl. The server sat another table ten minutes after us and gave them menus and water and came back to take their order before even greeting us. Server took our order w no note pad and came back because he forgot it. Brought out our food and set it on our table - came back and told us it wasn’t our food and took it off our table and gave it to another table.. 😬 asked for a 2nd glass of wine…never got it. Inattentive server never checked back after we started eating to see if food came out ok. Waves him down for check and boxes and he disappeared to the back and never returned w our food. Honestly you should always box food table side if you’re offering to box food for guests. We finally just left :/

Pizza was okay I guess (6.4-6.6 on the Barstool scale) - rude employees and the charge on using Apple Pay was outrageous… I paid 45$ for a large pie and some mozzarella sticks. Probably would’ve had a repeat customer if they weren’t so darn sheisty.

We were excited to try this restaurant after seeing it on Instagram. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. This is sad because the food is delicious. As soon as you walk into the restaurant there's tables, no host station. There's no one to welcome you or seat you. It was awkward. Once someone sees you awkwardly standing there they will ask if you have reservations. Once seated the waiter brought us menus and drinking water. After a few minutes we were ready to order. My first request was a raspberry lemonade, I figured it would be refreshing. The waiter says that they're out of raspberry lemonade. "OK, fine" then I told him I would like lasagna for dinner. He says, "I'm sorry but we are out." Wow! I was shocked! It was peak time for dinner and not late at all. I settled for some pasta with meat sauce. It was very good. My husband ordered a pizza and that was delicious as well. I was glad we shared a caesar salad because our food took a very long time. We saw people walk out because no one came to greet them or take their order. We had a couple of ladies come and check on us but our waiter did not. We were without water for most of our dinner. At the end the waiter came and apologized for the wait. I'm not sure if they're understaffed or simply need to tweak their flow. I hope the owners take this review as being constructive and make changes because the food was delicious. It definitely has potential.

Amici: Unacceptable Service, Disappointing Start Our recent dining experience at Amici Cucina was deeply disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we were left waiting for over 20 minutes to be acknowledged at our table. To our frustration, tables that arrived after us were promptly served while we continued to be ignored. The lack of attention from the wait staff was evident throughout our brief stay. Finding a seat upon arrival was a challenge, and we had to actively seek out assistance. This level of inattentiveness is unacceptable, especially in a restaurant setting. We chose to leave after being ignored for so long. We subsequently dined at Pizza Cave, where we received prompt and attentive service. Amici clearly has serious service issues that need to be addressed immediately. With increased competition from other Italian restaurants in the area, a focus on customer service is crucial for their continued success.

I was disappointed in the shrimp scampi. It lacked flavor as it tasted like it was made with just pasta water and butter. For $26 dollars it came with 5 pieces shrimp and that’s it. I’m surprised they didn’t try charging me for extra seasoning.

I have been to Amici once and don't ever plan on going back again. As an Italian born and raised in Italy, this is NOTHING like real Italian food and was an utter disappointment. We ordered two pasta dishes: the first one was spaghetti with shrimp which was basically tasteless because the sauce was so liquid that it sank to the plate's bottom. The other dish (some pasta with sausages and other meat) was edible, but VERY far from traditional Italian food. The service was even worse. There was only a single table besides us (we were also a table of two) and the waiter ignored us most of the time. When we asked for parmesan after our dishes arrived, he only showed up after we had eaten half of the dishes because apparently he forgot of our existence. The best part was the bread, but only because they did not make it (it is the 1 dollar HEB bread - we often buy it, so I recognized it instantly). All the experience was over 60 dollars, which is absolutely ridiculous for what we got. I will recommend everyone to avoid this place at all cost!

The shrimp scampi was god awful. It literally tasted like watered-down buttered noodles with a few pieces of bland shrimp. Customer service was terrible. The wait staff was friendly, but the owner was extremely rude and unaccommodating. We made a reservation a week and a half in advance, only to find out they had run out of chicken in the middle of dinner service. When we voiced our concerns, instead of trying to help, the owner argued with us. On top of that, I waited nearly 30 minutes just for a salad. For a place that claims to be accommodating, this was a completely disappointing experience. She claimed “that’s just the way the tickets printed out” Come on, everyone was done eating by the time I received my salad. I wouldn’t waste your money here. Terrible customer service from the owner.

Food was mediocre at best. I can open a can of tomato sauce and make pasta at home that will taste better. Service was ok, you can see they put in the effort, the place is nice. But when you get charged $30 for a pasta dish you expect a $30 pasta dish, not a $12 one. Nothing seemed home made, looked like a bunch of reheated Costco dish. For instance the appetizer mozzarella caprese was literally three slices of mozzarella and 3 slices of tomato with an industrial glaze of balsamic vinegar, and a leaf of basil, $14. If I were the chef I would be ashamed of myself to serve this. Not going back.
