Food is amazing. Employees are really nice and welcoming. My family and I order take out from here a few times out of the month and its always fresh and hot. Highly recommend!!!

I LOVE Dragon Express. The best Chinese food in Austin, and lucky for me it’s right around the block from my house. I’ve lived here a year now and order a couple times a month. Everything I’ve tried has been perfect and delicious. I usually don’t like sweet and sour chicken, but one of my friends got it here once and now I’m hooked.

I just recently moved from Jersey and my friend recommend this restaurant for Chinese food. I have to say I am amazed of how great the food was and customer service. I grew up in jersey and we have great Chinese food. But this one beats 99% of all them. I 100% recommend this place to eat. Great job guys. Keep up the great work!!

This place is really an undiscovered gem. I'm so pleased that I found it. Everything that I've tried from there has been really delicious, and the prices are totally reasonable. It's a family operated business; the owner and his children have always been very friendly and easy to chat with, and I appreciate all the local insights they can provide. They will deliver locally after 5pm, which makes them one of the only nearby places that does deliver. I find it a little odd that they're closed on Monday, but can't complain since it means that they are open on Sunday when most places aren't. I absolutely recommend stopping by, you won't be disappointed!

The jalapeño chicken is a real firecracker, wonderfully spicy and packed with flavor. The chicken is moist and slightly sweet. The family that owns and operates the establishment have always been helpful and accommodating.

I have been eating here for years. Recently have started trying other things outside of my usual orders and im still amazed at the flavor and quality of this food. (Singapore chow mei fun is amazing if you like a hot, curry flavor. I like to try to scoop it up with the egg rolls! 😂) True family business with smart kids learning work ethic at a young age. The future starts with our children. They are doing it right with great flavor and even better prices. Highly recommend this place amd dont forget the succulent sweet and sour sauce!

I just started eating here and since then I be pulling up to get some quick meals from there. Still more food from there I wanna try but one at at time😅 but I would most likely tell y’all to go to this place support them, the family is amazing, hard working and more.

This is our local Chinese/Pizza place in our "outside of city limits" hood. I'm a sesame chicken and crab rangoon fan, and theirs are awesome! It's not a place for dine-in, though there is a table. The portions are amazing for the price. Since COVID, the mark-up has been minimal. I can stretch 2-3 meals out of the combo order with a side of rangoons and an additional egg roll added (as of this year, that comes out to less than $20). The chef's special is definitely at least 3 meals, unless you're a glutton 😅. The owner and (I'm assuming) his daughter(?) are very nice and fun to chat with while picking up my orders. I haven't tried the pizza, but I'm sure it will hit the spot too if I have a hankering.

I'm sharing my secret. This is the hidden gem for chinese food in Austin!!!! The food is phenomenal, especially the sesame chicken and garlic beef. The family who owns the spot is so sweet and they genuinely get to know all their customers. It makes me happy just thinking about picking up my food. The dining area consists of 2 small tables, so take out is best.

We live very close by so this has easily become our go to place for Chinese takeout. The people there are very friendly. The food is good and exactly what I’m looking for when I get takeout. We got sesame chicken with fried rice and orange chicken. The crab rangoons were good too. Will have to try some soup next time but very happy to have this spot so close by.

Real yummy Chinese food at a reasonable price. Austin's Colony doesn't have much fast food or take out near by so this place can be a time saver. I enjoyed the lo mein most. The pizza however isn't great though, even my not so picky kids didn't care for it.

good food but I noticedit was cross contaminated with shell fish (which I'm allergic to) since I had a small reaction after I ate it. Hoping I can call and get my food cooked separately next time. Aside from that food was hot and tasty, and service was quick

If you’re allergic to peanuts or nuts, DON’T eat here. ❌🥜❌ Had to learn the hard way. “If you’re allergic don’t come here” The food I ate without nuts was fine

When you first walk in this seems like your average American created Chinese food place. Then you realize it used to be a donut shop. The beef was chewy and flavorless. It works if you're in a pinch for Chinese food, but if drive into Austin.

I am giving 2 stars due to the courtesy of service. If you haven't eaten a lot of Chinese food from different establishments than you wouldn't know better that the taste of their menu items is sub par. We had to add vinegar to their hot and sour soup to give it any distinction of the named soup. The fried rice lacked flavor and poor quality of rice used to make this dish. I was told to steer clear of this restaurant but I ordered with an open mind. Sometimes you have to be your own food critic to learn.

The food is good, service is great but the owner is a complete a** ****. I've seem him how he treats his employees but worse than that is how he treats his clients. Not sure if I want to make this guy anymore money. We need conscious minded entrepreneurs who will support and treat the community righteous and morally correct.

My first time here. Came bc it was the closest & reviews were pretty good. Another place with bland tasteless fried rice that too has no veggies. These chinese places are getting more expensive yet food is cheaply made. The only way to get fried rice here is to get it with pork! I've NEVER heard of such NONSENSE! So if you don't eat pork, don't ask for fried rice. Wouldn't recommend!

It was a "hole in the wall" type of place. Not really a place to dine in. The hot and sour soup was good but the general tso chicken taste like it was left out and reheated too long. It was very dry like chicken jerk with sauce painted over it. I didn't get utensils with my order. I couldn't finish it...

Owners misread numbers on my mother's phone number thinking it was her trying to scam them when it was a guy, then they block my mother's number, terrible people we didn't do anything to them and my mother even brought flowers to them just help them feel better to know it wasn't her

Delicious food but terrible customer service I called at 835 to place order for pick up. Lady said if i couldnt be there in 10 minutes they couldnt take my order. They close at 9pm. Will never eat here again

Absolutely Horrible food. Horrible experience. I'm on vacation and I had gone inside this cheaply dive. I ordered bell peppers and steak and since I've eaten it have been throwing up since I left there..the rice was mush, the steak was awful..I'll never go back....I'm going to go to the hospital and see if I have food poisoning..I feel horrible!!!!!!! Rude service and horrible experience! Over priced..I've been throwing up since 3 pm....

Egg roll tasted bad and ALOT a red dye was in it, my meal was mostly carrots with broccoli instead of meat added. Rice was not actual fried rice. And knats where flying out of my to go bag!!!! Employee was nice but food is trash

The food was not up to par. You can save your money and go elsewhere. The house fried rice was bland. The shrimp was tasteless.... I called back to let the owner know but he just ended up being upset and rude about what I had to tell him about his food. I thought the previous reviews were credible but I was wrong... Is there any good Chinese food in Austin?

There were more than just one hair in the food. I strongly urge you to avoid this place!!

Don't trust the reviews. I ordered to go based on the reviews and I regret bringing this home for dinner. The food was so terrible we threw it all away. The Fried rice had no flavor, General Tso's and Lemon Chicken breading was thick, gooey and uncooked. the lemon chicken sauce was watered down and the Crab Rangoon tasted sour. The only decent item we ordered was the egg rolls. Don't waste your money.

Tried with my partner for the first time today the food was awful and missing items tried to call them but their phones disconnected. The rice was horrible , I ordered the shrimp lo mein and didn’t get any shrimp and then also found a long grey hair in my food . The lady was nice but overall the food was just very poor quality .

I called to complain but got the run around and they did nothing, I will NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN. It’s as if they got lazy and are taking advantage of customers because there is no other Chinese restaurants near by.
