We stopped by here for a quick dinner before a recent Friday night high school football game. Little did I realize that this café is run by the same family that originally ran Hao Hao in Round Rock, where I used to eat on a regular basis when I lived there. I had the Singapore noodles with beef, hot and sour soup plus a spring roll. My wife had the shrimp fried rice. Everything was so fresh tasting, light and delicious. We got a box of the lemon cookies to go. They are also the bomb! Even though we live in Georgetown, we'll find a reason to revisit this café on a frequent basis. Next time I'll take pics and post them to this review.

Easily of my favorite spots in Austin. Service is always so so friendly and kind, food is delicious, and their restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. We got the bun cha Hà Nội and the beef vermicelli bowl and I love how light these dishes are while still being filling. The bun cha patties were perfectly grilled and SO yummy, noodles were perfectly cooked, nuoc Cham had very good flavor. Egg soup is also a nice pre meal aperitif. If you like lemon, do not skip on their lemon cookies. They are perfect in every single way. The texture is seriously unparalleled and the flavor…wow. Soft and fluffy and good lemon flavor without being too tart or too sweet. Will be back many times😎

We were delighted with our experience here! The service was incredible and you can tell the employees are passionate about what they do. Egg drop and hot sour soups were included in our meals and very tasty🔥🙌🏼. The shrimp spring rolls were a hit too, got these alongside green curry and chicken pad Thai. Cute and cozy ambience inside. We are looking forward to going back to try the bahn mi, baked goods, and matcha.

Absolutely delicious bánh mì. The bread was light and crunchy and the tofu had a sweet and delicious coating. We got their house mayo which added a fantastic flavor and the pickled carrot added an excellent crunch. I also appreciated the spicy from the jalapeño. The lovely woman at the counter offered us a sesame bun on the house since it was our first time. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy a meal because the interior is really cute and cozy.

Our visit to NG Café was an absolute delight! The fresh, crisp, and perfectly warm bread sandwiches were flavorful, with tender meats and fresh veggies! The complimentary soups were a tasty bonus, and we enjoyed the jasmine tea and coffee as well. The cozy and welcoming ambiance made the experience even more special. What stood out most was the wonderful service and hospitality. We love supporting local, family-owned businesses, and NG Cafe were beyond our expectations. Meeting the owners was a highlight—they were kind and sweet. We enjoyed also hearing their inspiring business story, which added a personal touch to our visit. We would love to come back and enjoy this gem again!

Wow! I absolutely enjoyed this quiet and relaxing cafe experience. The food was well prepared, flavorful and prompt, and the service was excellent. I ordered the grilled pork signature sandwich and was very satisfied with the fresh, toasted baguette and mix of flavorful toppings. I also got the house dumplings, vegetable egg rolls and a simple mocha. The food was very tasty - the fried egg rolls had the perfect amount of crunch, the dumplings were nicely portioned and well prepared. The mocha was warm and just the right amount for my meal. The service from the staff was great as they were very friendly and helpful. Duane helped us decide on our order and made great recommendations. Thank you for such a great brunch experience!

First time at NG Cafe and it met all expectations! The staff is so kind, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is bright and comfy, plenty of seating available. This place has a good vibe. I ordered the fried rice with beef and shrimp and it is delicious! Perfectly and generous amount of shrimp and beef! Also had the curry with chicken and it came with a bowl of white rice and hot and sour soup. My cousin ordered the rolls and she loved them! They looked amazing. I also had an order of a hot Vietnamese coffee, however it did not taste like it. Only tasted like regular sweet coffee. It wasn’t bad though, just not what I expected. Nonetheless, I would definitely come back to this place! I’m excited to try more and different dishes! 100% recommend!

Very friendly and nice staff. The service was quick and good! Ordered a Singapore noodle with tofu and a grilled pork banh mi. They were very good about not having egg in my noodles and answering questions about if there were meat or fish in the ingredients. Pretty good about letting customers know if an item is vegan or not. Very mom and pop shop with tasty food. Would recommend! Has a very chill and cozy atmosphere as well. Also good complementary soup according to my partner!

The place got upgraded, a nice relaxing vibe. They have fresh sesame hallow bread available. LOVE their baguette. Also the coffee, I had the OG coffee, the coffee hit in a very unique. I enjoy these 3 a lot. Curry Chicken Fried Rice is good as well, my brother loves it!!

This is one of the few places that earned a 5 stars from me. Because the service was so friendly and attentive. Our dinner was fair price, its was very tasty and cooked to a very high quality with depth of flavor. It even comes with a free small tasty soup. Make sure to try their baked goods. You will understand why. It’s easy to see why this is an almost 5 stars restaurant.

Came for Vietnamese, ended up getting pad Thai instead because I couldn't resist. The place is super cute and quirky, love the decorations and the ambience! Unfortunately the pad Thai was just alright. It's really hard to go wrong with pad Thai so no matter what it's gonna still be good, just compared to any other pad Thai I've had, this was probably the least good. All of that is hard to say because the staff were extremely friendly and kind, they gave my girlfriend and I egg drop soup with our orders as well as some bread as we were about to leave, not sure if that was normally included or if they were just being generous (I think they were being generous). I'm sure there are better things on the menu but I just couldn't pass up the pad Thai. I'll definitely be coming again to try something else in hopes of giving them five stars!

We tried this for the first time, we have to order on the kiosk right after entering. They served a complimentary hot and sour/egg drop soups per dish. We ordered house fried rice, Jalapeno chicken. They tasted good, but portion size is less when compared with other restaurants with the same price. Overall, they tasted decent and good ambiance and friendly staff.
