Great dinner! We go to the library cafe in Farmingdale often, and this is very similar (same owner group). The spinach dip was great (I always love when it comes with both warm pita and chips). The fish and chips was good too. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My personal opinion was that it was better than library, but my husband says he still likes library better but you can't go wrong with either. I also found it to be particularly clean and bright thanks to the sky lights.
We had my son's 30th Birthday Party in the private room last night. I can't say enough positive things about it. First off, Brittany, the server and Kate, the bartender, delivered outstanding service! They worked together as a team and everyone's food and drink needs were attended to all night. The food we had was fantastic and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the steak crustini and the short ribs. We were able to bring in our own desserts, which Brittany helped serve. We had a great night! Thank you!!
Good Morning Melissa, Thank you so much for yesterday’s baby shower event. We are beyond pleased with the service that we received. I believe Peter and the lady that was at the bar, they were exceptional!! The attention they provided to all our guest was amazing! Constantly going around asking if anyone needed anything, drinks, food or anything else. Both the gentleman and lady asked me if I wanted Santa there! The kids and adults loved Santa!! Our guests had so much fun! The food was amazing!!! All the guests went for seconds and thirds! Compliments for the entire menu especially the penne!! We were beyond pleased and ecstatic with how the entire day went!! The mocktails and the champagne were delicious all the guests wanted more! My husband and I are super happy with everything from yesterday!! We will for sure be booking more events in the future with you guys! 100000/10!!! Please thank the gentleman and lady from yesterday! They were phenomenal, amazing, the kindest people I have ever had a pleasure to meet. Again thank you so much!
This was our 4th year having our Client holiday party at The Post Office Cafe and it was the best one yet! Carlos and Nicole were great - all our guests commented on how professional, friendly and accommodating they were. We love Lessings and have had parties their other venues (3 other times) but this is the best one for a cozy, comfortable and private event. Highly recommend it! And Melissa, the catering manager, was great to work with!
We recently had a Holiday Party at the Post Office Cafe. We had approx. 100 in attendance and the staff was amazing. From start to finish Melissa was amazing in organizing the party and the staff was outstanding. Food and drinks were wonderful, and we will definitely be back
We had our daughter’s baby shower here and it was amazing!! Food was delicious, atmosphere was fabulous.. The vendors we hired were amazing !! Everything looked beautiful!! I highly recommend having an event here at the Post Office Cafe!! Melissa was great coordinating everything and the service was so sweet and worked very hard!!
Absolutely loved this place. My son kept telling me his school used to go when he was in copiague He would always speak highly of this place so wanted to go. The waitress was wonderful, the food was hot, fresh and delicious. I had the fish, shrimp and French fries. 10/10 recommend

The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. The service was top-notch as well. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, offered great recommendations, and made sure we always had what we needed. You can tell the staff here take pride in their work and genuinely care about creating a great experience for guests. The music added to the vibe—lively but not overpowering—making it easy to enjoy our meal and conversation. Drinks were spot-on, too, with creative cocktails and a great selection of wine and beer. I can’t say enough good things about The Post Office. Delicious food, amazing service, and a fantastic atmosphere—this is a place I’ll be returning to again and again. Highly recommend!
We had our sons rehearsal dinner at the Post Office and it was wonderful. Melissa was so great to work with setting everything up before the dinner. We had the cocktail party and the food was delicious and plentiful. We can’t say enough as to how great the service was. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.

Great place. The decor is nice, the farmhouse look is lovely. Just came back for a visit with my family and my boyfriend and his family. We got the mozzarella sticks and the seasoned pretzels for the appetizer, it was fantastic! I forgot what everyone else got for there appetizers. For my entree I got the killer mac and cheese, super good! Our waitress Nicole was super kind and was great!
I hosted a baby shower and everything from start to finish was great! Working with Melissa was a pleasure. She answered every question promptly and efficiently. The set up was great and staff and service as well. All my guests commented on how delicious the food was and we even got to bring home the leftovers!
I had my baby shower at Goldy's Gems in November of 2023 and was absolutely thrilled by the customer service, food and atmosphere. Our guests raved about the food and how their glass was never empty, thanks to the chef, servers/bartenders! It's such a trendy place and gives off awesome vibes. We enjoyed the shower so much, that we wanted to hold our son's Baptism at another one of the restaurant groups locations. We chose to have the event at Post Office cafe and once again they knocked our socks off. We were fans just on an ordinary day, so we just knew the events would be even better and we were right. Melissa, Chris, Chris and our servers/bartender once again were amazing in every way. During our planning we also found out they just had a renovation in our event room that made it look so bright and welcoming. The staff is extremely accommodating, especially on the day of when it comes to decor setup. We were able to bring our decor earlier in the day and then have someone set up about a half hour-hour early so that when our guests arrived all was in its place. The staff at Post Office even offered to assist with some setup as long as it was simple placement. If you are ever in need of an event space, I would highly suggest Post Office Cafe and Goldy's Gems or any restaurant in this restaurant group, you just can't go wrong!
The food and drinks were perfect and guess what?!? They have brunch on Sundays too! (yes, and unlimited mimosas) The drinks have so much flavor and really have a nice kick to them. He got: Smokehouse Burger (that smoked bacon is everything, goodness!) Onion Rings (cooked perfectly, really enjoyed). Chocolate Sky Martini She got: Brunch Burger (that egg drip, perfection) Home fries Poison Apple Cocktail (apple pie in a glass, wow!) Staff is phenomenal, everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and the chefs know what they are doing! The ambiance is cute with the brick and carousel animals, we just agree that a post office vibe would match the name. Parking you do need to be careful, in the back there is a small lot we usually use (never had a problem finding a spot), never even attempt the main road spots.
Came here for dinner for a friend's birthday and had a fantastic time. Everything was perfect! Not one complaint. The burgers were cooked to perfection, just as we asked - medium rare, medium, etc. Extremely juicy & flavorful. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were missing a plate and the waitress noticed right away (without us having to say something) and brought a new one without hesitation. Absolutely love the atmosphere. The bar is huge and has a separate dining area as well.

Came here for lunch on a weekday, so it was pretty empty. We were sat right away and got our food pretty quickly. The salad was very fresh and the wings were great! It was difficult getting our server’s attention, especially when it came time to get the check. After we finished eating, we waited for a box and the check, but our server was nowhere to be found, and there was only one other table with people. While still waiting, I walked to the bathroom and noticed our server sitting down eating lunch. I don’t mind servers taking breaks, but to be gone for 20 minutes and to not send anyone else over was kind of annoying.
Nice local spot, nicely decorated, live music on Fridays, great place to hang out at the bar for happy hour too! The atmosphere is upbeat especially with the live music... Seating near the bar is best, let's you enjoy the music and grab a bite. Service is excellent, and food is good. Calamari was tasty but tough, our server (Nicole) didn't hesitate to take back which was the right thing to do, but not always the case at other restaurants. Makes us want to return for more! Ahh, try the coconut martini, and/or blueberry lager both excellent, the Asian Salad, and French Dip were good too!
Booked a private party for my daughter's 1st birthday. The space had a good layout. The food and service were great for the most part. Couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. It was intimate and the champagne punch was refreshing. Shawn was our waiter from beginning to end, he was there taking care of us along with Jenna. Only wish we had more time to setup beforehand.
Pleasantly surprised at the dining area off the side of the main dining area. Very clean and very quiet. I was able to watch the football game today while eating The waitress took our order very promptly we received drinks quickly and got our appetizer within 5 minutes. The spinach artichoke dip was superb. Ordered the fish and chips. The chips were actually fries which tasted good. 3 large pieces of fried fish were given copious amount of Cole slaw and tartar sauce. The fish was cooked well, however, lacked seasonings. We were in the area and wanted to grab a quick lunch. The place wasn’t too busy, so we were seated right away. Our server was attentive when taking our order, and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered a few things, including the fish and chips. Everything was good—except for the fish. While the fish itself was decent, it was covered in an extremely thick batter. The batter overwhelmed the fish, making it not very enjoyable. Ideally, you want the batter to be a thin, crispy layer. I definitely wouldn’t recommend ordering it. Once we finished our meal, we requested the check. For some reason, our server didn’t bring it after several minutes of waiting. We flagged them down again to ask for it, and they responded, “I didn’t bring the check?” A few more minutes passed, and we were still waiting. We had to flag the server a third time just to get our check. It was pretty frustrating and annoying. Once we finally got the check, we paid our bill and left—and we likely won’t be coming back.
