Best cocktail I’ve had so far in Central America - it was the watermelon juice with mezcal. I had the vegetarian tacos which were delicious and really good value for money. Oscar the bar manager was so lovely and gave us great tips for Bacalar as well as the broader Yucatan peninsula!

AMAZING bar and restaurant! The tacos were the best we’ve had in Mexico and the cocktails were amazing. Oscar the bartender was super friendly and went out of his way to give us his recommendations for Bacalar and the Yucatàn, including booking us a boat tour for the following day! Definitely a must visit spot whilst in Bacalar.

We had the best evening here. Stopped in for 1 beer, ended up staying for 4 beers and 3 cocktails. Best mezcalitas we’ve had. Gauc is out of this world!! Staff were so lovely and gave us plenty of recommendations for the area, and even helped sort us a taxi home! 20/10 - must go when in Bacalar

Very laidback spot with a great bohemian vibe. We had the chilaquiles and they far exceeded our expectations. Some of the best I’ve had. The Crazy Monkey and Amanecer Bacalar smoothies are very tasty. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Delightful! The tacos were so good we ordered more. There are two options for vegetarians, which were lovely. However, the Chicken and Mole taco was star of the show! Cocktails were also really nice - by far the tastiest drinks we had in Bacalar!

The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The place is cozy, shaded and peaceful. They also have a cute small terrace! Not only the best tacos I ate in Mexico but also the cheapest!!! 25 MXN each. The cocktails (especially with mezcal) are amazing. High quality mixed with very nice people. We love it!

Great food and drinks. Sat in the rooftop area which has a nice vibe. Ordered their speciality Guacamolillo with chicken on the side and 6 tacos! All delicious and fresh. The margs and mojitos were tasty too! Staff super nice, great English also which isnt expected but nice of course. Would recommend. Will be back!

Lovely breakfast spot, would definitely recommend. Refreshing smoothies along with deliciously messy breakfast sandwiches, wich you can't avoid with an ordered runny yolk 😉! The staff was extremely pleasant & we loved that there was not canned cafe music playing but some Spanish punk rock.

There is so much to say about this place! My first hostel and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Juan the owner is very detailed and inviting. The location is central to everything. They offer so many recommendations. Oscar and the drinks he made with his hometown tequila were amazing. The Balam was so refreshing. Tequila was so good I bought a bottle from them. Paola gave a being at home with friend vibe. I stayed up all night talking to selbana and woke up to an amazing coffee from her and great breakfast from Carlos It’s a one stop shop for great food, company, drinks! I will definitely come again with my friends. My forever place to go moving forward while ever here agin.

El lugar es bonito, el trato es impecable, son muy amables. Su perrita es una hermosa. El plato de mi esposa muy rico, yo pedí unos chilaquiles que tenían totopos de bolsa 😔 y su salsa no picaba. Estaría bien que tuvieran una opción picante en su menú y consideraran hacer sus propios totopos, su sazón es rico seguro les quedarían genial.
