Phew... incredibly beautiful... hahaha, it was raining, which is exactly what I read in the description of the accommodation... they lent me some things that weren't in my room, like an iron (we were going to a wedding). The people there were so nice and helpful, always communicating with you. There was no electricity in Bacalar for several hours, which was perfect for a wonderful night's sleep, because it was pouring rain. They were always attentive to our arrival and helpful... I'm truly delighted with the place, the accommodation, the food, everything in Bacalar was perfect... I love the rain, and in Bacalar it's another marvel... Go, staying here is lovely, plus there's a small pool that helps you cool off... we didn't go in because of the rain, but there will be time because we will definitely be back. 😍

I did not sleep here but ate the best taco’s here I ate during my trip to Mexico. The women that work here are so kind and it has such a lovely vibe! I wish I could go back because I still dream of the fish taco’s ❤️

Rooms are good enough and clean, with a hammock, TV and a “pool” that I think was portable. But didn’t look inviting. I don’t think it was great value for money, but then Bacalar is expensive. The first words I was greeted with was a very harsh “Have you paid!” Before I even put my backpack down 😳. The lady sweetened up considerably after I handed my card. She speaks good English

Hidden gem of a cafe with good vegan options for breakfast

위치는 중앙광장에서 직진으로 10분거리 정도, 현재는 식당 운영없이 숙박만 되는듯 하다. 바깔라르는 워낙 작은마을이라 호텔을 제외하고는 제대로 된 숙박업소도 별로 없고 숙박비도 비싼편이라 이정도면 다른곳 보다는 나은듯 하다. 최고 장점은 바로 앞에 세탁소가 있다는것, 멕시코에서 장기간 여행시 이보다 좋은게 없다. 새벽에 개,새,말 들이 많이 운다.

The place is nice but the dishes are terrible, very small portions and high prices and the truth is the taste is not surprising either, then the lady who prepares the food happens to comment that we were very country people🤷‍♂️
