El sitio es hermoso, cerca a la playa y con una vista al atardecer increíble. La comida típica de la región con mucho sabor y buena presentación. Pero la atención de sus propios dueños es lo que más destaca! Se nota la calidez y el amor en el trato a los clientes. Todo muy a gusto.

En nuestra estancia en Bahía Asunción comimos varios días seguidos acá y todo lo que probamos fue delicioso!! Vale la pena probar el abalón en sus diferentes platillos, una verdadera especialidad de este lugar y con un gran compromiso de aprovecharlo de forma sostenible. Tomas y su esposa son una pareja alegre y cálida, aprendimos mucho de Baja California y de este especial lugar a través de las conversaciones con ellos!

During local shelter-in-place orders, the restaurant is open only for take-out (between 2-8 pm, I think). We stopped by in the afternoon to place our order for pick-up at 6 pm, and what a fantastic dinner we ate at home. The coconut shrimp with spicy mango sauce were prepared to perfection, and accompanied by sides of delicious white rice, shredded lettuce with ripe, colorful red tomato slices, and fresh tortillas. The servings were generous enough that I enjoyed some shrimp for breakfast the next morning. Durante los pedidos locales de refugio en el lugar, el restaurante está abierto solo para llevar (entre las 2 y las 8 pm, creo). Pasamos por la tarde para hacer nuestro pedido de recogida a las 6 pm, y qué fantástica cena cenamos en casa. Los camarones al coco con salsa picante de mango se prepararon a la perfección y se acompañaron de un delicioso arroz, lechuga desmenuzada con rodajas de tomate rojo maduro y colorido y tortillas frescas. Las raciones eran lo suficientemente generosas que disfruté de unos camarones para el desayuno a la mañana siguiente.

El lugar muy limpio, comida riquísima con un toque de sabor diferente... desde unos camarones empanizados tienen su toque. Espacio muy ameno atendido por sus dueños. Tienen wifi que funciona muy bien y reciben pago por tranferencia.

Comida casera muy rica, además la atención de Don Tomás es excelente.

Such a nice little spot. The food was amazing, both the fish tacos and coconut shrimp. The owner was so super friendly and even also spoke English. His cute little pug is super friendly and is always welcome for some pets. Highly recommended if you are in the Bahia Asuncion area.

Best seafood in town...famous for the coconut shrimp, fresh halibut & he prepares the sportfishers catch in several different ways. Tomas & Anaberta are wonderful hosts making it fun to dine there & watch the sunset.

Fish tacos were great. Much bigger than street size, should have ordered 1 instead of 2. Ceviche was so fresh it tasted sashimi like.

Some of the best food and friendliest people we've met cruising the Baja coast. No menu... it''s whatever is fresh. Tomas and his wife are fantastic hosts. We had abalone prepared as a ceviche and also grilled. Delicious! Also, the huevos rancheros were fantastic. The beer was ice cold. Not the cheapest meal, but well worth the stop.

I had breakfast there whilst watching the World Cup final - the atmosphere was great and the food even better - starting with lobster cooked to perfection for breakfast is a blessing that doesn’t happen very often. I was really delighted with the way we were welcomed and made feel at home. I should point out it is not the most affordable place in Mexico or Bahia Asuncion for that matter but it is well worth the experience if you can…

They opened up the restaurant on Sunday for us. We arrived in Asuncion via boat on our way home to California. Lery, our water taxi/fuel provider called his cousin and asked them to open the restaurant for the 5 of us (from 2 boats) Excellent fresh lobster was had by all as well as delicious sides and Margaritas!

Simply put - my favorite Restaurant in Baja California. Tomas and his wife are excellent cooks and sea around Bahia Asuncion offers the ingredients to match their skill. They prepare excellent lobster and abalone and you have to try their coconut shrimps

I can honestly say this is one of my favorite restaurant experiences that I will always remember (and make my way back to)! Thomas and Ana Bertha are the most lovely couple. Their daughter and dog Lee are also big helpers around the restaurant. They have no menus, but whatever you order the answer is "Si" I had four meals there in two days and all were incredible! The second evening we asked if had lobster and of course Thomas said yes. A truck showed up with fresh snapping lobsters shortly after. I recommend the garlic shrimp with it. Very affordable & an experience you will likely not forget!
