Ono Hawaiian BBQ

If you're familiar with L&L, you might call this a clone. Keep in mind this is Hawaiian BBQ, you won't find laulau, but there is kalua pig. Food is fresh, made to order. Not oily like some L&L establishments. Today we got the fish, shrimp, and BBQ chicken. Each plate comes with two scoops rice and Mac salad. Your entrees will sit on a bed of cabbage that needs some seasoning, soy sauce or Sriracha worked well. I will be returning for my Hawaiian BBQ cravings. Onolicious!

This was my first time here. Food was very delicious. Good size portions as well. I would definitely recommend this place. There's many options to choose from.

My favorite is the katsu chicken and their sauce. I normally ask for 2 scoops of the Mac salad and 1 scoop of rice 🍚 the staff is friendly and super polite. 💯 recommend. If you are ever in town stop by and try it.

This place gives you your monies worth of food. The food is delicious and almost exploding out of the packed container the food comes in. That is basically how my belly feels with my pants after barely eating all that food. When you stop by here don't forget the sauces. They are a must have.

Went with my girlfriend on a Friday late afternoon I’d say walked in wasn’t to packed fresh had good choices got some katsu 🐓 aswell as shrimp and chicken very good proportions overall good date and good food

Been here multiple times always tastes good and always fresh. Customer service is good. All the chicken options are very good. Would definitely recommend and it's alot of food so you can definitely have leftovers (someday leftovers, next day it isn't that great)

This location is awesome and the best one compared to the bad one on Mount Vernon!! The food is so good and fresh compared to other locations I've been to. Kalua pork was sooooo good and fresh. Tasty bbq chicken and beef. White fish was also really good! I wish the Ono’s back home tasted this good. They are also clean and following covid safety protocols.

Extremely clean place to eat! The food is delicious. I had high expectations and it was exceeded! We got the Ono family meal, Chicken Katsu, Beef BBQ, and Chicken Teriyaki. I highly recommend this place

I had the Hawaii bbq mix plate with the chicken, beef and short ribs, all veggies as a side (broccoli and cabbage). It was really pretty good. The sauce they have is great for dipping. We were greeted as we entered, there was no wait at 3pm and our food was ready within minutes. We will definitely be coming back.

Second and most importantly it is the BEST Hawaiian barbecue I’ve ever had. The chicken is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The macaroni salad is absolutely delicious and the veggies are so good. I’m so glad I got food here. I only gave it 3 a star is for atmosphere because it’s basically a fast food restaurant “vibe”. I took my order back to my hotel.

Got bbq combo #44 from memory, wasn't bad besides katsu chicken being hard/ overly dry. Everything else was really good and we also got a side of rice for like 3$. The inside was nice and modern and clean also with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly and food was served quickly

Pretty good katsu and katsu sauce. Not sure about the chicken on top of veggies though. Unless I inhale it, I'm gonna get some soggy chicken bottoms and nobody wants soggy chicken bottoms.

The man sitting next to me said his meal of BBQ Beef was 5 stars good so i was expecting my dinner to be the same. Im assuming that if people eat Fast Food on a regular basis and have little experience dining on Chef prepared menu items it defines their personal taste in American food. The BBQ Chicken was way under cooked and slimey, the BBQ Beef was no better and if both are truly Hawiian BBQ I will never be ordering this ever again as it was barely tastless at best. The name Ono Hawiian BBQ should tell you... "O..NO Dont go there you will regret it.
