The spot was chill and the food was good, but Nathaly really made the experience better. She was friendly, checked in on us, and made everything feel easy. Service was quick and the vibes were right. Overall, good food and even better service — I’d come back.

Sizzler has been a staple in my life since I was a kid, and it is just as wonderful now as it was then. I have so many memories of my mom or grandmother treating me here, and now that I’m older, I get to be the one to pay the tab. Honestly, I couldn’t be more proud to do so! The food is pure nostalgia and always hits the spot. I consistently order the Double Malibu Chicken, and my mom and grandma still go crazy over the Salad Bar and the Clam Chowder. And we can’t forget the absolute star of the show: the Cheese Toast. I could seriously eat them until I’m blind! It’s rare to find a place that stays so consistent over the years. If you want a great meal and a place that feels like home, Sizzler is it. We’ll be coming here for many more years to come!

My wife and I come here regularly (a couple times a month). I usually get the salad bar, and my wife usually gets some kind of steak. Tonight we both got the salad bar and it was on point, as usual. Everything was fresh, and kept stocked. The best part of our dining experience tonight was that our regular server Michelle was here. Whenever we come, we try to find her to sit in her section. Michelle is always so kind, and attentive to our needs. She makes coming here that much more enjoyable! Everything was perfect as far as service, food and atmosphere. Our server was Amazing! We ate at the Sizzler on Real Rd. Michelle was our server and she was ahead of everything we needed or wanted. I ordered steak and all you can eat shrimp, and it was exactly that, with some leftover shrimp to bring home. Been going to Sizzler for years when getting a budget friendly Steak meal. Always reliable and never ever left unsatisfied. Michelle is an awesome server among the crew. She got me prepped for my meal while waiting for my food. Got me the Steak sauce and an extra glass beverage on the fly. It is as if she already knows what I need as a single patron. She was very attentive as well. Recommend for single or family, a decent dining experience with less of the fluff of impressing you anymore than a fairly priced meal.

The food was great! My steak was cooked exactly as I requested, which is harder than it sounds as I am a bit picky. The yam side dish was seasoned to perfection, the salad bar was clean and had a ton of delicious options, and the all you can eat shrimps just kept coming! Mirna and Lorena were so friendly and kind. On Saturday, 10/13/2025, I was visiting from OR and had a late lunch early dinner at the sizzler on Real Road in Bakersfield, CA., with my sister. Our server was Michelle and she was beyond amazing! She was the nicest most attentive server I have ever had! Ever. She anticipated our needs before we even had them. We both ordered the steak and all you can eat shrimp. Michelle brought our first shrimp with our iced tea and before we were finished eating she bought our food that was loaded with more shrimp :) she said she'd keep the shrimp coming until we said to stop (and she did:)) she I was very professional and so friendly. I hope Sizzler appreciates her. She is absolutely amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection. I ordered medium rare and it was absolutely perfect. I'll definitely return to this sizzler when I come back to visit.

Sometimes, a dining experience can stir deep questions. Why did I come here? What was I looking for? The Bakersfield Sizzler sparked a contemplative reverie in me - it opened me to asking. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, there were lovely seasonal offerings (albondigas, peppermint brownie), and the Chardonnay was served in a chilled glass. I held a little smile throughout, almost privately. What had I expected to find here? Was I enjoying myself more, or less, because of those expectations? The server and hostess treated us formally, but in a good way. I saw my own sheepish grin as I returned to the taco bar. I had two different desserts, even the day after Christmas. My only complaint was with the music honestly. Music from the 2010s. I probably won't ever visit a Sizzler again, but I'm happy I visited this one.

Malibu chicken wasn’t what I expected, was not at all good. Overall always love coming here to be in this atmosphere very peaceful and welcoming. By the way love Michelle she is always so positive & making sure everything is good.

Michelle provided great service, as she is very competent as what she does. Came at the right time to clear plates, refills and she seems to genuinely care about the experience for the guest as she ask if the food quality is all in order. All in all great service you don’t see often.

This service was phenomenal she was an amazing server our server Michelle she did an amazing job she was fast prompt and very kind but the food was not up to our expectations the steak was dry and very just rubbery and not good and the ribs the same but the everything else it was either too salty or too sweet so yeah at $80 I don't think we're going to eat here again

Had the New York strip with a sweet potato for about $30—steak was tender and cooked well, but the sweet potato was the tiniest I’ve ever seen. Luckily, I added the salad bar, which is always my favorite part of Sizzler, though some extras (tacos, wings, ice cream) felt a bit lacking. Service was great, atmosphere was fine until a busload of 50 people showed up. Overall: average food, great salad options, solid service.

THE WORST experience we've ever had at Sizzler. The food is very good, but the person who served us yesterday was very rude. MICHELLE was our waitress; I don't know if she's RUDE or RACIST but honestly, we've been there before and had very good experiences with the other waitresses we've had they were very kind. It wasn't her actions that bothered me, but her ATTITUDE ... I don't think we'll be going back.
