Recomendaciones del camarero, en nuestro caso, Luís, un encanto, los porteros, Eder y su compi son muy agradables.. Un conjunto de 10, se nota que hay calidad en todos los sentidos.. Atención 10/10, Miguel el chico que me atendió nos brindó toda su ayuda a la hora de escoger los cocteles, explicando al detalle lo que queríamos saber, además siempre pendiente de que necesitábamos. Una experiencia genial, lugar acogedor y hermoso.

Un lugar increíble y super cool en Barcelona!!! La atención es de otro nivel. Julio, el barman, prepara unos cócteles espectaculares, con mucho estilo y dedicación y simpatia!!! Y Luis y Éder, los camareros súper atentos, simpáticos y hace que la experiencia sea aún más especial!! Sin duda, los mejores!!! Muy recomendado!

Vine por primera vez con un grupo de amigos y ha sido una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en Barcelona. Excelente coctelería, hospitalidad, atención, sobre todo Jenny y Luis, Jenny es una mesera con demasiado carisma y atención a pequeños detalles del servicio, y Luis un mesero que profesionalismo y paciencia. Sin duda volveré, la buena atención, el respeto y alegría transmitidos al público son inigualables! 🖤🍸

Excelente cocktelería. Monk es de esos lugares donde se nota el amor por el detalle: los tragos están perfectamente equilibrados, originales y de altísima calidad. El ambiente es íntimo y muy bien logrado, ideal para ir con amigos o en pareja. Mención especial para Juanfa, que realmente eleva la experiencia: súper atento, apasionado por lo que hace y siempre dispuesto a recomendar el trago justo según tus gustos. Se nota cuando alguien entiende de coctelería y disfruta compartirlo. Sin dudas, un lugar al que dan ganas de volver.

Monk absolutely blew me away. I was welcomed by the nicest host at the front, and the whole space has this incredible speakeasy vibe that sets the mood instantly. The “Kubrick” is quite literally the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life — no exaggeration. I visited solo and felt completely comfortable the entire time. The vibe is fun, relaxed, and safe. Ricardo, my server, was unbelievably kind and even gave me great tips on where to go around Barcelona. Walking out to the little disco at the end was such a perfect little surprise — the cherry on top of an already amazing night. I spent most of my time in the main room rather than the back room; the music was great, and the bartenders were putting on a full show with their cocktail-making skills. Beautiful space, incredible service, and unforgettable drinks. Can’t wait to go back.

I love everything about this bar. The staff, nicest people ever. I’ve been having to travel for work around Europe now for 2 weeks. The staff here were some of the nicest people I have met in this trip. I had the Giorgio cocktail and it was perfection. Amazing presentation and perfect taste. I also had the tuna appetizer they offered and the flavor was awesome. I could have had 12 more. The bar itself is beautiful, clean and fun. This will now be a must stop location for all my future trips.

A very nice bar with a unique concept and great service! I went to Monk as a solo traveller and had a great time. The whole experience of entering the bar through the fake store was fun. Love the interior as well. There were several unique cocktails on the menu. The two I went for were different from anything I've ever tasted, but were delicious and made with high quality. The service was great as well, with all the bartenders and servers operating with full energy. It made it a great experience. They also would check up on me and my drink, confirming that it was up to standard. Overall I had a great experience at Monk, and will return when I come back to Barcelona. Also, be careful in their very confusing exit!

Fun experience. I love a “secret” speakeasy so was already thrilled to find one in Barcelona. The bartenders were super fun to watch and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. The rest of the staff were also super friendly and helpful! I liked the drinks and enjoyed the fun presentation. Felt the prices were fair according to quality, presentation and experience. We sat at the bar and I can’t speak to the space in the back of the bar.

Our waiter was very attentive and asked about our preferences to recommend a drink we would definitely enjoy. Free-flowing water was provided as soon as we sat down. I love the concept of hidden bars, where you step into a supermarket and then through another door inside, you step into a bar. Monk is one of my favorite hidden bars in Barcelona, the vibes are so nice and the cocktails are so good 😍 The bar is divided into 2 rooms, one with louder music and dancing space and the other room is a little bit quieter and better for sitting and having a conversation. I was happy to try both areas!

Every single staff here is very nice. The bartenders to the bouncers to the wait staff are very very courteous and friendly. The bouncers even cared about us to shoo away pick pocketers and told us to be aware. The drinks were great and VERY unique. This is a craft cocktail bar for sure so just be patient with your drinks. They are not very strong but they are delicious!

Acabamos de salir de Monk y la verdad… ¡qué descubrimiento! El sitio tiene ese rollito de bar guay sin intentar ser demasiado moderno, luces cálidas, música que acompaña sin gritarte al oído y un ambiente que invita a quedarse más rato del previsto (y a pedir “una más” aunque no haga falta 😅). Pero lo mejor de todo: Luis, el camarero. Qué encanto de persona. Súper simpático, atento sin agobiar, y con esa sonrisa que te arregla la noche. Nos recomendó bebidas como si fuera nuestro colega de toda la vida y acertó en todo. Se nota cuando alguien disfruta su trabajo y hace que tú también lo disfrutes. Monk = Buen ambiente + copas ricas + un Luis que vale oro. Volveremos segurísimo.

Ayer fuimos a tomar algo. Sitio curioso donde los haya. Te quedas como en un mini súper 24h y hay 2 puertas secretas en la tiendecilla y entras a la coctelería. Cockteles muy diversos y con espectáculo del coctelera. A mi pareja no le gusto el suyo xq pensaba que era otra cosa pero el mío sin alcohol estaba muy bueno. Te sirven un vaso de agua al llegar cosa que se agradece y los cockteles no son excesivamente caros. Si me hubiera gustado que nos pusieran una xuxes, unas palomitas, unos frutos secos para acompanyar. Sobretodo si vais reservad xq hay cola😉

Atmosphere: 7/10 Located in El Born, Monk hides behind the façade of a small bodega in true speakeasy fashion. The interior blends neo-Gothic arches with funky lighting and lounge-like couches, creating an instagrammable but not overly deep setting. Plenty of bar seats are available. The backbar looks stylish yet lacks depth. Music was too loud on the night, which pulled away from the vibe. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: Eliasson’s Spritz Menu is simple but leans low quality in parts. The overall selection is solid, with flavors that land decent though not standout. Presentation is a plus—good garnish, creative glassware, proper ice, and coasters in place. Service: 8/10 Water was provided right away. Team was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. Prices sit at an average Barcelona level, and no reservation is needed.

Fui con mi pareja y dos amigos a probar esta cocteleria en el Born. Como si fuera Paradiso, se entra a través de un badulaque falso, y la cocteleria se encuentra detrás. El servicio fue muy amable y el local tiene cierto encanto. Los cócteles vienen en un menú de cartón que sin más... sin embargo los cócteles nos defraudaron a todos. Pedimos 4 y ninguno nos gustó demasiado. Nos parecieron mal balanceados y con sabores nada placenteros. El único que más o menos se salvaba era el que venía en el vaso en forma de racimo de uvas, que parecía un zumo.

Tenía ganas de visitarlo por todo lo que he visto por redes , y la verdad me esperaba más. Cocteles a precios bastante altos para 3-4 tragos que me a durado la copa, la de mi pareja a rebosar de hielo. La comida 4 palitos de queso con dos salsas algo caros. El Servico excelente aunque es más la gracia del sitio que la calidad del mismo.

Really disappointing :/ We went here to get drinks. The entrance looks really cool and the inside is also nice BUT the drinks were mostly only ice. Which is really sad especially with these expensive prices. They still tasted good tho. We sadly wouldn’t come here again..
