Bar de tapeo muy tradicional con más de 70 años de historia, probamos los vinos y el que más nos gustó fue el tinto pero sin dudar la estrella fueron los pescaditos fritos...ojo que la buti estaba muy buena tmabien, hacia rato que no probaba unos pescaditos tan buenos me hizo acordar mi infancia las mojarritas fritas , es una pasada recomendable por Barcelona

Un clásico de Barcelona en el que me junto con mis amigos mil y una veces. La comida esta increible, y el vino y el vermut igual (venden botellas para llevar). Un sitio autentico que lleva muchos años en marcha y mantiene el espiritu de siempre. Los dueños son majisimos.

Que puedo explicar de este lugar que no se sepa. He estado despues de 30 años y sigue igual. Bueníssimo el pescaito. Me he podido sentar en una mesa cosa que de joven creo que no habia hecho nunca xq nunca había sitio, y lo he disfrutado mucho. Volveré seguro y os lo recomiendo!

¡Todo delicioso! Los boquerones fritos, segundo mejores que he probado (el primero, claro, los que hace mi padre en casa 😊). Muy frescos y sabrosos, ¡una auténtica delicia! La próxima vez no me pierdo los vermuts, seguro que también están de 10. Volveremos sin duda en cada visita a Barcelona.

Uno de los sitios más emblemáticos cerca del paseo marítimo, escondido entre sus callejuelas de aire de barrio, donde mantiene un espíritu cercano y coloquial entre sus clientes. La comida es simple pero efectiva y exquisita. El mejor pescaito frito para acompañar con un delicioso tomate o unas frescas anchoas.

Easy visit. Happened by around noon on a Monday and there was one table open. Waiter brought the photo menu so I pointed to the items we wanted, told him agua and vermut, and minutes later we were eating. Sardines were salty and tasty. Sausage on pan tomate was good. A good time but wouldn’t have been too upset if we hadn’t gotten in. Had better sardines elsewhere.

A tiny but very cosy and authentic place not far from the shore. The place is buzzing with locals having beer or local wine. There are only 4 tapas available (fried anchovies, toast with anchovy, toast with sausage, tomato & onion salad) but all four very tasty, especially the fried anchovies. I highly recommend!

Suppose to be Anthony Bourdain’s favorite place to visit in Barcelona. Just 4 items on the menu so while it’s nothing fancy, the food is really homely and there’s lots of locals dropping by for a quick bite before heading off. Nice place to grab a bite in the gothic quarters before heading out to walk around.

No frills tapas spot that’s perfect for a quick lunch and a favourite of Anthony Bourdain. Seemingly loved by locals and tourists alike, they offer a short menu of simple specialties that are certain to hit the spot. I had the fried anchovies and tomato bread topped with sausage. The service was excellent and straight to the point. Seating is limited so some choose to stand and eat at the bar. A must visit for anyone traveling to Barcelona.

Great place for a quick visit! Grab some Pescaditos and a Vermut and be happy. The vermut is one of the best I tried in Barcelona. Even the portion is not big, the price of the fish is very compared to other bars. Delicious!

It's a great place. It's a very small and cozy place. Sometimes you have to eat standing up, but it's worth it. The tapas are delicious and very cheap, but the portions are very small. Only local people come. It is not well known to tourists. You can have a quick bite and continue spending time in the old town.

We visited Bar La Plata after seeing it featured in an episode of Anthony Bourdain, and it didn’t disappoint. We arrived right at 6 p.m., and by 6:15 it was already full — so it’s definitely best to go early. We ordered vermouth, beer, and several small dishes to try. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was very good. They serve their own house vermouth, which is definitely worth trying, and the wine comes in the traditional Catalan porrón, adding a fun and authentic local touch. You can also order the fried fish to go, which is a nice option if you don’t get a table. The only thing that could have been better was the first pan con tomate — it was a bit hard. But aside from that, everything else was great. A simple, local spot full of charm and tradition. Highly recommended!

The most understated bar we came across in Barcelona. Snacks are really wonderful- the whitebait (as we would call it ) has to be tried. Don’t miss out Wines are poured from barrels stored at ceiling height I’d imagine it gets busy in summer , we managed to get a table in January but also went in October where we had to drink and eat in the street ( no tables) Try it!

Es un lugar agradable y correcto. Para ir solo por un rato a comer lo que te ofrecen. Su horario como en la mayoría de los locales de comida de Barcelona es limitado, ni un minuto más ni uno menos. Fui una hora antes de cerrar y 15 minutos antes de la hora ya me habían pasado la cuenta.
