Gilda was a delight when we dined there on a quiet Wednesday night last week. Our waiter, Moises, was helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. The prime rib was sublime and the steak frites didn't disappoint. Definitely check it out!

This restaurant was an extremely lucky find. Everything about this place was spot on for an impressive evening out. The food was absolutely incredible and the ambiance had the perfect vibe. We ordered a few extra things since everything that came to our table was even better than excellent. Our wait staff, Cedric, was perfect; attentive and thoughtful with his timing and while spending time at our table. I would definitely recommend and would absolutely return.

These dishes are among the best foods I have had in Spain. They were all recommended by our incredibly kind server, Moises, and every single one of them was outstanding. If you visit Barcelona, I strongly recommend trying these dishes. I would like to sincerely thank Moises once again for his excellent recommendations of both food and drinks, and I highly recommend this restaurant and its staff.

My family and I stumbled in here on a lark, and what a wonderful surprise this was. The owner, Michele, was incredibly welcoming and made some fantastic recommendations to fill out our tapas order. His taste in music was also very enjoyable - I discovered a few new artists to check out! The beers were all Belgian imports and delicious. I loved the Cherry Chouffe in particular. Lastly, the food itself was some of the best I've had - I will absolutely be returning!

Fabulous tapas. They have their take on tapa. Really a good place for lunch or dinner. A bit difficult to find parking nearby though. Friendly and polite staff. Dont miss it, if you are into trying new tapas and they also have good range of veg tapa options.

We came here after reading comments about the restaurant at google. Nothing less but can add more. Owner Mitch welcomed us and introduced signature dishes enthusiastically. Moises served us with a big smile on his face. We definitely recommend this restaurant if anybody open to taste different food and good house wine.

This place is AWESOME. I’m a beer snob, and they serve fantastic Belgium beer. I talked to the owner for close to an hour about different beer styles, tech, living in Europe, etc. Such a nice and cool guy. Great atmosphere, great staff, great beer, great drinks.

What a fantastic experience at Gilda Restaurant! I tried the black mojito for the first time in my life — absolutely unique and refreshing! The ceviche was bursting with amazing flavors, so fresh and perfectly balanced. The whole place has such a positive, lively vibe, and it’s just a short walk from Barceloneta. Definitely a must-visit spot in Barcelona! 🍸🐟☀️

Thoroughly enjoyed the tapas here and their infamous prawns with curry ice cream. We also ordered the eye fillet steak, which dare I say, was the best steak we’ve had in Spain. The staff were also very friendly and warm, especially Victor and Cedric.

Can I just start with how expertly crafted the flavours were, so much depth of flavour everything genuinely was so tasty and the flavours were evidently very carefully chosen. Victor served me and made sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed, I also got to meet the restaurant owner who was such a kind gentleman. I ordered some olives and their spin on patatas bravas for entreé with the green chicken curry for main course which was served with ginger flavoured ice cream and the rice was topped with something that tasted quite "carmelly" but I wasnt sure what it was exactly (perhaps the owner can reply and tell me because it was a unique and nice addition) it was all so delicate yet so complex. The atmosphere is perfect for all occasions such as dates or group gatherings, the owner pointed out how all the rooms are sound insulated making the experience so special not only because your conversations don't get interrupted but also because it makes the music pop out without the buzz on the street. I did find the portions just right for an average person.

Absolutely incredible. We went for a friend’s birthday and happened upon a rare night where we had Gilda’s to ourselves (for a little while). The service was first class (the owner and Cedric and the whole staff were so kind and prompt!) and the FOOD!! Oh my goodness the food. The best tapas I’ve ever had. I will be recommending Gilda’s to everyone I know visiting Barcelona. The gazpacho was lovely, refreshing, and uniquely sweet. The goat cheese salad was so good we ordered two. Lots of great options for a vegetarian like me. My friend loved the steak and cauliflower. The chocolate fondant was also a lovely dessert (but we subbed the ice cream with vanilla). Great wine too! Lovely, top of the line establishment that has the quality and ambiance for special occasions and doesn’t have to break the bank. My biggest thanks to the wonderful staff!

Excelente bar de tapas, local curiosamente decorado, excelente materia prima, gran variedad de tapas. Su especialidad Pulpo a la gallega, buenas bravas. Personal correcto aunque no demasiado simpáticos ni atentos. Si tenemos que volver, volveremos encantados.

Buen lugar para el tapeo y el vermut de sobremesa, tapas muy variadas desde pulpo a la gallega, patatas bravas, oreja de cerdo, croquetas de pollo jamón o bacalao, chipirones, rabas, tortillas, pimientos del padrón, etc....... Todo muy bueno y raciones a la medida. La nota negativa que falta personal para cubrir a los clientes, sólo dos camareros para demasiados pedidos, por lo demás perfecto buen precio--calidad. Volveremos pero en horas no tan concurridas.

El pulpo super tierno, muy rico. Pedimos la mediana para dos, y nos hubiéramos comido también la grande. Pescaíto muy bueno, lo terminan de freír en el momento. Los champiñones NOOOOO, eran de lata 🙄 para eso es mejor quitarlo de la carta.... Pero lo demás muy bien. Sitio concurrido un sábado por la noche en el gótico

Buena comida. Tapas no muy abundantes a mi parecer y precio han aumentado desde la ultima vez que he ido pero igualmente recomendable para picar. Mis favoritos son los pimientos 🫑 y también los buñuelos de bacalao. La atención normal, los camareros han sido majos.

Muy buena relación calidad precio. Raciones abundantes y muy sabrosas. Pulpo sabroso, sin cachelos pero muy buena ración en cuanto a cantidad. Pimientos frescos y muy ricos, y un tamaño perfecto. Las patatas con alioli, estupendas. Atención correcta. La música ambiente, quizás no era la apropiada ni del gusto de toda la clientela. Recomendable y para repetir, sin duda.

Muy rico el sitio para probar la comida Catalana y cosas Gallegas. El pulpo definitivamente hay que probarlo y la sangría muy buena para acompañar los platos. La atención del personal muy buena.

La atención es fenomenalmente cálida, pero raciones son demasiado pequeñas (tal como se puede ver en las fotos). No es por nada pero nos han traído 5 o 6 piezas de calamares y la tapa cuesta casi 7€. El pulpo 18€ y la ración era mínima). El precio estaría bien si las porciones fueran más abundantes. La comida es muy sabrosa. Espero que este comentario sirva para modificar esto porque es un GRAN lugar y se come muy bien, pero uno se va con una sensación agridulce debido a las raciones pequeñas. A pesar de esto, lo sigo recomendando.

Espetacular!!! Llevamos a unos amigos de fuera, ya que estaban de vacaciones y querían comer cosas más típicas. Pues un acierto, estábamos paseando por la zona y decidimos entrar en este lugar. Un bar sencillo, un ambiente alegre, unas tapas riquísimas con una buena cerveza, personal amable, en especial el camarero, y a precio normal, q más se puede pedir. Eramos 5 personas y pagamos casi 75€. Hacia mucho tiempo que no me comia unas tapas tan buenas. Los que nos acompañaron salieron contentísimos y nosotros más aun 🥰

The food feels like home, good stoofvlees and perfectly crispy fries. The tapas were a perfect blend between the Belgian and Spanish cuisine. The coupe speculoos is very good, would recommend (speculoos never disappoints)! I loved that they had liefmans on the rocks and Cherry Chouffe, made my Belgian heart very happy. Daniel was very attentive and the owner was also a very talkative and friendly person. Would come here again.

La comida es muy buena. Pulpo, pimientos de padrón... Todo riquísimo. El servicio muy mejorable. Un chico extranjero que tenía mas voluntad que cualquier otra cosa pero el pobre casi no entendía a nadie. Y uno gallego que hoy no debía ser su mejor día. Paciencia, sobre todo paciencia... El precio un poco caro.

Fuimos 3 amigos, el 22 de noviembre a cenar. No hablo de la comida porque la queja no es esa. Nos cobran 2 veces 59,80€ con el datáfono, la primera dió un error (tanto ellos, como nosotros pensamos que finalmente no lo cobró) y la pasamos otra vez. El lunes revisamos y sí que había cobrado 2 veces por lo que procedimos a llamar. El que cogió el teléfono nos indicó que él no lo lleva que contactásemos con su jefe. Nadie quiere saber nada… no me devuelven el importe. El tema está en la OCU. Muy mal gestionado, algo tan evidente y por 59,80 euros, que a mí me hace daño y a un restaurante no le supone nada.

Después de esperar media hora se dan cuenta que no habían pasado la comanda y cero detalles, el único con la bebida a medias al final te meten prisa para dejar la mesa. Muy sucio y poco higiénico, te ponen la cerveza en el mismo vaso. Primera y última vez

Vine sola a almorzar y, aunque el bar estaba medio vacío, no me permitieron ocupar una mesa. Todas las mesas estaban juntas de dos en dos y, según la camarera, estaban “pensadas para cuatro personas”. Al pedir amablemente si podían separar una para poder sentarme, me contestaron de forma cortante: “no funciona así”. No lo recomiendo

Casi nada lo hacen al momento, todo lo tienen en nevera para darle un golpe en el micro y te lo entregan. Luego 100 euros de factura. La atención por parte del marroquí que oí que tiene 5 años de antigüedad en el local fue muy mala, faltando 1 hora para cerrar el local estaba muy desesperado porque la gente se fuera; no nos permitió movernos de la barra a una mesa.
