Opiniones de La Ceverseria Barcelona
Recommended to visit by a friend who had dined here many times during his work visit days from Germany. The quality of food and the selection definitely befits all the reviews. We had the best meal so far whilst visiting Spain. The lemon pie was also super delicious. You won't regret coming here for dinner.
We had a great time here. The food is spot on—every tapas dish we ordered was above average. It’s really good. The staff are very friendly, and it’s the best tapas place I’ve been to during our six-day trip. You won’t feel like people are rushing you to finish your food despite it’s a busy place. John made our dinner exceptional; he’s so lively and sweet. We came back for two consecutive nights. It’s that good. Would recommend the lobster rice and suckling pig:) also coffee with baileys (iced)
The good was really good, we ordered a few different tapas to share (between the 2 of us we ordered 3), the ones I liked the most were the artichokes, the calamari and the dish named huevos something, that was basically fries with sunny side eggs with a divine sauce. The waiter knew exactly what could be made gluten free, which was also very nice. We also shared the cream Catalana
Another amazing tapas bar of Barcelona. This place was not on my radar when I planned my trip to Barcelona. Discovered it as it was just 100 meters from my hotel. Got curious as it had a long line even at 4pm. I made it to lunch the next day. Damn good call. It was by far the best tapas bar in Barcelona from food standpoint. I tried fried small fish that were so crispy. Also the typical tapas food of seafood on bread. The salmon one was really really good.
The tapas at this place are priced at a regular north/Central-European level given the places popularity. However, they were all served fast and delicious, with good portion size. The staff was friendly and explained some of the dishes to us that we didn't know and gave good recommendations.
My girlfriends & I had dinner here twice during our recent short stay in Barcelona and we just loved everything about this restaurant! Food is absolutely amazing, we came back because we wanted to try every item on the menu. Suckling pig only comes out at a specific time around 6:30-7pm so we had to time our visit. If you plan to visit don’t miss the Foie gras! Kudos to the Chef and to all the servers specially Rey who gave us an excellent service!
Liked Foie gras, churros with chocolate and especially codfish a lot, paella was solid and meet my expectations considering its less than EUR 10, the squid is same delicious as most Spanish restaurant, but the most affordable. Not the quietest as theres ton of visitors, but the restaurant is big enough so you can get in quickly. Would love to try dinner after 18:30 for the suckling pig as I love suckling pig but never saw it in Spain restaurant, unsure if Im unlucky or what haha
Walked in for one around 7ish in a weekday. Got in after just a couple mins when I was told to wait for 15mins hehe. I ordered the octopus, Foie gras and hamburger, also sangria. The bill was like £20 Defo book a table if you're not alone as there's always long queue. The Foie gras is a must tryyyyy. Waiters speak English and there's English menu as well. Great tapas experience
Wow. 5/5 - been here back in 2019 and recently returned in 2025, and quality has upheld itself. One of the best tapas restaurant in Barcelona (albeit perhaps slightly pricey). Every dish we tried was fantastic, if not better than other shops we’ve visited. Taste or texture of the food, cannot complain. Food was served quickly. Service was great as well, our servers were extremely attentive and kind. We ordered dishes numerous times as the food was that good and they were able to bring it to table quickly and efficiently while changing our plates when they noticed the shells were piling up. A must visit if you’re in the area.
We went here on recommendations of a friend and had a great dinner. Lovely selection of tapas dishes and yummy sangria. Service was also attentive and quick. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait if you go during peak hours. With that said, we noticed the wait was not too long as we sat outside and the restaurant had quite a big space.
One of the best tapas restaurants in Barcelona. We spent a week in Barcelona and our friend brought us there for lunch. We enjoyed the food so much we came back twice after that. There was always a wait for lunch and dinner which tells they are very popular among tourists and locals. The staff were friendly and efficient. The foie gras and the cod tapas are a must have. The seafood tapas were always fresh and made in such a way that it highlights the taste of the main ingredients. The various tapas they prepare offers the diner the rich and diverse gastronomy of the Catalan cuisine. Enjoy!
We enjoyed Cerveceria Catalana so much we came here twice!! The fish of the day was great, the pork tenderloin and ham sandwich was delicious, the eggs, bacon with avocado and pan con tomato was a great breakfast. Definitely the spot for real churros y chocolate. The beef tenderloin with food grás was very decadent and delicious. The assortment of what looked like conservas looked amazing and I would go back just for those dishes. Beautiful restaurant, with great service and delicious food
Got there by 10am and it’s already about 75% full. Service from the staff is efficient and nothing much more than that. Food is good though. Freshly prepared and as good as any tapas location in the city. Selection is also decent and there’s quite a bit of seating available so even if there’s a wait it shouldn’t take too long. Worth a visit if the queue isn’t long.
managed to walk in and get 2 seats at the bar! service was friendly and we were even given a complimentary tortilla! i was worried this would be a bit of a tourist trap but the food was good as well - not amazing, but good. highlights were the solomillo con foie, the suckling pig and the torrija. other dishes were forgettable, including the codfish with honey aioli which wasn’t as good as the hype had lead me to believe.
3.5⭐️ The food was just okay. Maybe because someone posted about this place on social media, there were a few Japanese customers as well, but I’m not sure it’s worth going out of your way to visit. The churros were good, though. The server seemed tired and treated us a bit roughly, but I guess that’s understandable on a busy weekend. The restaurant is quite spacious and even has a patio. After we finished eating, there was a line outside—though I’m not sure if they were tourists or locals.
The service and atmosphere were both very good, and we can see why there’s always a queue outside — the place is lively and well-run. In terms of food, it was a mixed experience. Most dishes were okay, but the “special little pig” (served only after 7:30 pm, with a limit of three portions per table) didn’t live up to the hype from other guests. The meat arrived cold, and we had to ask the kitchen to heat it up. On the positive side, the beef tenderloin was excellent — so much so that we reordered it. Overall, a nice spot with great service, but the food quality varies by dish.
