Both pho and Bahn mi are very good. Great service.
Very good. Very quick. Very polite.
This is a nice spot very small bit usually empty I've ordered take out here and it didnt reheat well but eating in the restaurant was great very fresh and delicious a very good deal me and the wifey were stuffed we got a bowl a sushi roll and a spring roll they all were great ill come back here
tried the Bahn Mi combo with california roll, it was excellent! Had never tried Bahn Mi before but the chicken was amazing and fresh. Service was fantastic and the prices were reasonable.
The pho was great. The lady at the cash register is nice. I will be coming here again.
If you want to eat French Vietnamese Japanese Hawaiian all at the same place, come here because this is your spot! Bahn Mi sandwiches, Pho brisket soups, Sushi rolls, Poke bowls, and Boba.
I seriously love this place! The food is really good, pricing is really good because for the amount of food they serve you is insane! Flavor is there, the staff are very nice, helpful & the restaurant in general has a good vibe :) ive come here 3 times in a week & honestly will be coming more times. Try the fried rice! & the beef bbq with white rice & soup! Delicious! 10/10
This place is clean, fast and people are so nice to us always. All foods are tasty reasonable. My favorite is Poke and Pho in here.
Delicious food and friendly service. Great little spot for vietnamese comfort food
1st time eating there but its delicious and healthy. The staff is so sweet and the location is clean.
We actually came here for the Poke - which was very good. Basically, you get to build your own bowl from start to finish. That includes 10+ items that you can put in with without additional charge. They have regular and large sizes. The regular ($8.99) comes with two scoops of protein and the large ($12.99) has for scoops but the size of the bowls for regular and large are the same. I went with the regular but in retrospect I should have gone with the large. I felt the regular had very little fish. For $8.99, it's forgiveable but next time I'll get the large.
I used to live around here and during middle school I would go after school to get a bite here and it was amazing the food and drinks were always delicious
Great place to eat, impressed on the quality of their food on all food here. The Pho, banh mi and poki, delicious! I ate the Dumpling Pho yesterday, the Dumplings are fantastic with a good amount of garlic in them. I suggest putting these on the appetizer menu, pretty sure they're gonna be a big seller. They also have a pleasant Iced Green Tea. So glad I live in the area, let's keep them here people!
Very good Pho for a quick bite. Authentic green tea, great friendly service, easy to come in grab a seat and get a good solid meal even during peak lunch or dinner hours. Will definitely be coming back.
Food is good and healthier from most pho restaurants and I will be returning here often.
I'm not an expert on Pho but this place is the bomb. Great food. Even the chicken sandwich is good. Everything is always fresh and I keep coming back. Great prices too and they have beer.
My go-to in Lomita for vegan pho, super fresh poke with all the trimmings, and awesomely affordable specials. Poke and a sushi roll for <$12? Who knew fresh, delicious food could be so affordable? I've had a lot of poke and pho in my life, but this small, non-descript place in Lomita is one of my faves to go back to over and over.
Delicious food, clean dining area & restroom, thumbs up
Pho 1945 was perfect. I had the Rare Steak large bowl and was very pleased with it. Delicious and clean taste. I've been searching for a good pho restaurant since my old favorite didn't survive post covid. I found it in Pho 1945. Raymond
I travel all over and Pho 1945 is the tops! The broth is so clean and the serving size is amazing! I eat there 2-3 times a week. I have turned so many people on to their pho! Do yourself the favor and go there. Amazing flavor and delicious experience. They're so polite and humble when they have every reason not to be. Their pride is in their food. Omg. It's delicious and worth it every time.
Love that you can get a small Pho with a side of sushi for a reasonable price. I'm often in the mood for both but don't want to pay for both, or waste a large bowl of Pho. Casual, relaxed atmosphere with a lot of options. I'll be back here for sure when the sushi/pho craving strikes again.
Is the best bahn mi in South LA county. I haven't been to all of them, but this is my favorite from the ones I've been to. The lychee smoothie was amazing, too!
Hungry for a quick lunch? Come here for a vegan yummy meal. They have several items available for vegans but unfortunately their boba isn’t vegan friendly. I ordered the vegan Banh MI sandwich was made fresh and warm on the softest roll. Delicious!
ordered the sandwiches, they were amazing! super fresh and delicious, I had the beef and my daughter got the pork, both were just enough to have you full and satisfied.
Really good food, portions are generous. I had the poke bowl which was almost identical to one I tried in Hawaii. My group tried the pho and was also pleased with the portions and flavor. I was also surprised that the service was quick even for a weekend. The lady server was friendly and checked on us throughout our dinner. I would definitely recommend to stop by this place and try out the food as you won’t regret it.
I js came from there, BEST SERVICE EVER!! They service was quick and warm welcoming. The food arrived quick and was soo delicious. We had the pho and sushi. We are definitely coming back!!
I had the grilled pork vermicelli salad was crisp.Lettuce, delicious, fresh pork with a fish sauce and dressing on the side.Very refreshing and filling
To be honest, I have passed by this restaurant many times, but I always thought it was inconspicuous, so I have never visited it for many years. Today, I would like to try the food here. Overall, the Vietnamese beef noodle soup is pretty good. But the beef was very ordinary. I ordered two cups of Boba milk tea and coffee. The taste was not too sweet. The Thai milk tea was rich in tea flavor. The bill was about $38, which was a reasonable price.
Great causal meal. Fast and fresh, would definitely recommend getting all the fixings for the poke bowl. Spring rolls and sauce were fantastic.
This place has a good pho in South Bay Area. I always look for a better pho, and I am glad to find this place. I wish they give me little more side veggies especially basils.
Pho was great. I'd give it a 8 out of 10( 10 being the best). Customer service was also great. It got pretty busy after we came in so the service wasnt as great when we walked in but everyone was nice to say the least. I'd definitely come back.
It's a local place. Food is decent. Pho has clean taste but meat was bit tough, poor in quality and small portions.
I just tried this place a few nights ago and I was impressed. The beef gyoza was delicious and the dipping sauce was very well seasoned. I had the Beef Fried Rice and it was delicious as well. I thought the green beans were a great addition to fried rice, since most restaurants do not put it in fried rice. I enjoyed it. Also, they were very generous with the amount of beef they mixed in with the fried rice. The rice came with a small, simple side salad that had a good dressing on it. I plan to return here soon and try the Vermicelli.
Decent. A little slow on service and the food tasted good. Not my top 10 pho spots in the area. This is my second time coming here. I'll try again a third time.
This isn't the best pho place, but it's not bad. Staff is always polite. Food quality is consistent. And the prices aren't bad. My son orders the BBQ pork and clears his plate every time. Nothing like a place where the kids live the food. My son would go here once a week if it were up to him. Bahn mi is good. Small sandwich that hits the spot. I love the side soup that comes with rice dishes. Yum yum! Every time I go to Pho 1945 I'm stuck, do I order pho or bbq pork?! Atmosphere is quiet, people and staff keep to themsleves. It's a simple place with a decent menu.
Good pho place with an extensive menu beyond just Vietnamese food. My wife and I had pho and spring rolls, they were tasty and the portions were good also but nothing outstanding like you get in Westminster area.
Food is really good here. Especially the BBQ pork banh Mi sandwiches. I tried the brisket and shrimp pho multiple times and can't really recall a time I was disappointed. At times due to high demand for ordering over the phone or online. The food can sometimes seemed rushed the shrimp wasn't deveined properly. An out of all the times I've been here it only happened once. So big ups to pho 1945 & Poke Bowl food is great and customer service was up to par. I highly recommend this place for there great sandwiches and amazing pho.
Pho 1945 is a small Vietnamese restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway, Lomita. The restaurant is tidy. Servers are efficient. Lunch can be finished within 30minutes. Food is fresh. Highly recommend the refreshing Shrimp Spring Roll (USD 6.99). Stay away from the watery House Boba (USD 4.99). While the soup of the House Special Pho (USD 12.99/Regular; USD 13.99/Large) is not oily, the meat balls are crunchy and the beef tendons are bouncy; however, the sliced beef is too thick and overcooked.
Update: Came back after a killer gym sesh.. I must say, the Spring Rolls weren't that great. They were ok. I got the one with shrimp. I also got a Pho soup #9 ( I think they gave me something else but whatever) the soup was ok. Wasn't bad but just ok. I would possibly only stick to the Banh Mi sandwhich. I came here on a day that I was hankering a Banh Mi sandwich. It was actually my 2nd bahn mi in my entire life. The last one I had was over 10yrs ago. Anyway, I got the banh mi sandwich and sushi combo. I think it came out to like $10 or $12.. The sandwich was really good! I truly enjoyed it but I cant say I enjoyed the sushi as much. When you go there make sure you know what you really want. Not to much of a language barrier but I think the lady that was taking my order might of been having a bad day or something. She seemed a little upset. Besides that, everything else was good. I'll definitely be back for another sandwich or 2.. maybe even give the sushi another go.
Prices reasonable, meat is fresh but not as advertised of thin slices of fresh beef. Overalk it worthed the trip.
Got the pork vermicelli with egg roll. I got 1 little eggroll that tasted old and double fried. I didn’t like the pork, flavors were different from other Pho joints. Doesn’t taste authentic.
Not the best experience. I ordered over the phone and she says it will be 10 minutes. So good, so far. I arrive and the lady waits to welcomes me. After waiting for minutes, I ask her if my order is ready. She tries to get my payment first without answering the question. I ask again and then says it will be another 5 minutes. I tell her that I will go somewhere else. Then, she goes to the back. She comes back speak another language the entire time. Put my card on the counter after I gave it to her by hand. Soup is warm. Had to put it in the microwave. Will not return again. Grade: 62/100 (D)
Very bad customer service I was here 01-03-2025 at 11:45 AM the front desk lady very rude . Almost unhappy that there were customers so early . I order four orders of different dishes . We asked the lady for two small containers of sauce and she said “NO” and started ignoring us . We could have pay for the extra sauce if that was the case but she just started making faces and ignoring us . My family and I always come here but after this experience never again and will be sharing this experience with our network .
My wife likes the pho, so I ordered the shrimp fried rice to try it out. It is only half the box and came with a salad. Doesn’t say that anywhere on the menu. For 15 dollars, that’s a bit ridiculous. I called and informed them and they lied and said that it says that on the menu. The menu I have from them a month ago doesn’t say that. They were also rude when I called. On to the next pho spot for us I guess.
Very sad & disappointing for a place I used to love supporting- especially because it was a small business. As a fellow small business owner customer service and satisfaction should be first priority. I went in at about 8:10 pm with my daughter. The places closes at 9pm.... I sit down and am approached by a woman who's never served me before. I order a side of broth noodles and meat for my 3 year old, I always order my daughters good right away so that the kids food is out first and I can help her eat before mine. The woman says - no I can not do that. Assuming this is a misunderstanding- I say I'm also going to order food but just want to get hers started. Still she refuses and stands there over me and also says I cannot order small sides for my kid. This is what I always order. I said ok fine I won't get her anything- their loss. I'll just share my soup with her. She forces me to order altogether because she wouldn't leave the table. At this point I'm irritated and uncomfortable. Fast forward. Our food comes. My soup and the sides she told me I was not allowed to order. Within 10 minutes of getting our food and in mid bite she comes over and says I have to pay right now because they are closing the register. Fine! So I pay. I'm not kidding you as soon as I paid I asked for change for cash tip (with my $10) and she says they have "no change" proceeds to pick up plates off the table. No change because she expected a big tip. I left very unhappy, still hungry and sad I will not be returning.
I got the seafood pho 🍜 it was nasty 🤮 it also only had 1 shrimp 🍤! I also ordered a Thai iced tea without boba 🧋 and they still charged me $4.99 😳 it’s my first and last time here! DISGUSTING 🤢 I’ll keep going to the donut 🍩 shops on PCH/Normandie and the one on PCH in the Harbor Freight parking lot their boba 🧋 delicious 😋 DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR NASTY OVER PRICED FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went there to order a pho, but left without ordering anything after the owner got there, and placed her personal belongings like car keys, purse, jacket, on top of the area where they prepared sushi rolls and poke, she fix her hair, put on her apron and started working in a few orders!!! Hygiene is not their priority!!!
We stood in line for 20 minutes just to be told they don’t take orders anymore. They close at 9pm, we got there at 8:20pm, waited in line until 8:42pm and when it was our turn, the kitchen was already closed. It would’ve been fine but the lady in the register was so rude about it. And they could’ve told us earlier that the kitchen was closed, rather than watch us wait for our turn to order. Do not support a place that don’t care about customers.
I had a really bad experience in the restaurant the people who were attending that day were really rude. They were trying to hurry us up to finish our food even though there was no customers. I did not had a good experience in that restaurant. The people who take your Order don’t do nothing they were just talking and they brought my order late. mostly was the people from the back kitchen who brought your things. They made my family and I feel unwanted.
음식 장사는 정이랑 고 했는되.. food what Evers and the lady very unhappy to work there as owner. Ask for hot souse and she say it was in the back. Which she lied.... Very unhappy place..
