The Blackthorn Pub is a bar in Lomita, CA. You'll find hard drinks for hard drinkers. The bartenders are top-notch, and can pour what you're asking for. There's a decent beer list, and TouchTunes, so you can pass the time. Becareful, you might run into your "ex".

Great people. Great atmosphere. Great service. No I'm not AI and no I don't work there or have any affiliation with the bar. It's just that kind of place. Don't miss out on this hidden gem. If you like a beer or several and are a nice person they'll welcome you here with open arms. Best pint if Guinness in the South Bay, IMO.

If you were born and raised in Lomita like i was then you know of bt even before it was bt but definitely great girls super friendly environment ... And the jumbo jenga is great when under the influence lol definitely recommend this place.

Noisy dark bar with people having a blast. Yes good quality and quantity of food. I had fish and chips. The single piece I ordered was more than twice as thick as most places have. Partner had pork chops and mash and was satisfied. 10 screens to watch, but blink and you will miss the plain door to enter the place.

I had a not so great review up. I retract it. The owner has done a nice job. It took some time. The patio is very nice, especially on a nice day. Crowd depends… but not rude. I would have brought my mom here. All in all… well done. Im a bit picky too… just go… Food isn't as good as it was. But it’s still quite good. It’s just that for a bit it was fantastic. They had a chef that was overly talented for a pub. 2 real dart boards! That's cool right?! No pool .. so.. I’m not in there much. Also… there is a spot to have a smoke and a drink at the same time. Rare these days.

They don't accept credit cards, which is really inconviniate, which is why they lost stars. Cmon guys, in this cashless society you need to accept credit cards. I recommend this place, but hit the ATM first.

Menu clearly shows they have meat pies and the bartender had an attitude when I dared ask if they sell meat pies. Looks like a cool spot. The cook was friendly at least.

The worst service I've ever experienced in my life! Came in on a Sunday morning for a quick drink & bite and the bartender couldn't be bothered to walk from behind the bar and take my order. Insisted that I yell it across the bar and Interrupted me when she couldn't hear it. Immediately walked out. Definitely a place for the regulars
