I love the large beef tacos, and my wife absolutely loves the eight layer dip.

I've been coming here since I was 17 now I'm 52 its my favorite taco place ever!!!

1st place my siblings and I stop whenever we come home. We also usually work in a few extra visits before we head back out of state. Honestly, I don't get how it got any negative reviews, but I guess hater's gonna hate. Anyone who gets a chance should definitely stop. My personal favorites are the deluxe quesadilla (hard shell) and the peanut butter milkshake, but really, I've loved everything I've ever gotten from there.

My husband loves to get burritos from there sometimes and the food is good. The people and the service there is great and there's never too long a wait for your order. Would recommend it to others.

that taco place has been around since i was a young child... I now live in Rochester and travel to Batavia at least once a week to get food from here! My father owned a delicatessen for 23 years behind that taco place theres no other place like that taco place! keep up the good work guys!!

This unique fast service taco place does do anything too fancy but they do make a great taco. There is both a drive thru and an option to go inside, there is limited seating inside, but in the summer there often is outside seating set up.

This is one of the local legends of Genesee county. Though it is cash only, I would be happy to pay a ATM fee to get another meal there. The food is made fresh and very comfortable sizes. Don't go to a "brand name" taco place, it is doing yourself a disservice when you could have better.

Best toco place I've ever been to. There beef and cheese burritos are amazing, and there sauce is just the best! It's a bit of a wait to get your food because they make everything to order, but it is absolutely worth the wait. And they have a drive threw so just wait in your car and listen to the radio. If I could eat there as much as I wanted id be 1000lbs! Lol love it!

This is a small hometown gem. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. I personally like to get the burritos here. There is a drivethrough so you do not need to sit down and eat there if you feel like eating on the go. The wait time is very short and is much better than chain Mexican fast food places. There is very little room inside, only capable of seating around 12 people max if it was crammed full. During the summer time there are tables outside. If you are in town it is worth checking out.

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch about a week ago and we didnt know where to order or what so looking at the menu and pulled up and I do believe the owner came out and asked what we wanted and put our order in which was very nice and the food was amazing!

It's a great little stand . Food was really good. I have driven past this place for 20+ years and finally pulled in. Man I feel as I have cheated myself the last 20 yrs by never stopping in. Nice experience overall. I will definitely be stopping in to That Tacco place again.

Joe's has always had good food. I've eaten there for year's . even back in the day . when joe started back in Leroy back in the late 70 He's good people. An good food .

Been coming here ever since I was a kid. It’s good consistent home style tacos. The flavor nor the proportions are going to blow you away but it’s a good option compared to anything else nearby. The people are very friendly. One downside is it is cash only.

My first impression of this place was that it looked a bit rundown and the drive through was confusing. I ordered the deluxe burrito and the 3(5?) Layer dip. The burrito was great and the dip was absolutely phenomenal, probably one of the best I've ever had from a Tex-Mex joint. The pricing was a little higher than something like mighty taco or taco bell, but the quality was significantly better. Well worth the 10$ I had spent.

Good Things: Portion sizes - Drive Thru - Customer Service was excellent - she took care of my items and sauces so they wouldnt spill. Bad things: Meat wasn't seasoned enough it tasted bland ... I never really use hot sauce but I asked for some to flavor it more...also the hot sauce wasnt House- it was just Frank's. Also check the hours before you go they are a bit limited.

Almost 15 minute drive-thru for chewy hard tacos. I can see how maybe a burrito would be decent though, hence 3 stars. Putting Frank's Red Hot on a taco seems sacrilegious...

Hadn't been there in 20 years and apparently there's been some change!! The food was nothing like I had expected and seems to have changed ownership or something. Was not impressed with no indoor seating anymore either. I don't believe I will be doing business there again.

Wasn't impressed, has better portion wise also. Deluxe burrito nothing special. Combo enchiladas so so...could of came with beans like other Mexican restaurants. But it's cool. Very small menu would go somewhere else next time.

Got the "burrito" which is no bigger than an average taco with very little veggies. Quick and cheap..

We were rushed out of there, and honestly I expected better food... Taco Bell would have been better honestly. Don't know if I'll ever want to revisit. Just not a good experience

Today was my first time visiting this place since I've lived here. The food was good. But not worth going back. When we went in the people there were not personable whatsoever. And maybe it's just my experience but I wasn't impressed. Smile sometimes. It doesn't hurt anyone. And my rice bowl I never asked for sour cream. Ruined my whole lunch 😕😕

I visited this place a couple of years ago and it was super. Today I took a friend that we had bragged to about it and was so disappointed. The meat tasted old and weird. There was basically no flavor besides that. She was not impressed and said she guessed she would not be taking her husband there after all. I don't believe I will go back either , I'm sorry to say. I hate to give a bad review but maybe it will prompt someone to look into the situation. It used to be a great little place.

absolutely the WORST taco place I've ever been to...I stopped in & ordered 2 large tacos, 2 quesadilla's, & a taco salad....I live 2.3 miles from the place & when I got home,,,,everything was ice cold,,,the "quesadilla's ", we're actually beef & bean burritos, the taco salad looked like roadkill ....place sucks !!I'll never darken the door again

The food was quick. I spent $63 here was not impressed. The salsa was store bought. I make better tacos myself.

The women taking our order was very rude & impatient then when we got home all of our order was wrong. Definitely wont be going back.

Taco Bell is more authentic. This was literally some of the worst food I’ve ever had. And Franks on a taco? Come on. I should have just put the money in the trash.

If you want a homemade taco similar to Taco Bell, this is the place for you. However, if you want authentic Mexican food, do not come here. The salsa was Louisiana hot sauce. The meat did not have good flavor. The employee at the front desk was nice though.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Wish I would have just gone to Taco Bell. Me and my husband ate there last night (take out) I got a “taco salad” that cost $6.50, $0.40 for added onion, $0.50 for sour cream there was ZERO taco seasoning in the ICE COLD beef. No flavor in the salsa. The tomato Was literally 1 1/2 slices not even diced. The peppers were just sliced in huge finger length chunks. I paid for extra sour cream, didn’t get any at all. My husband got 2 tacos and the beef was the same, ice cold and not seasoned. Almost no cheese. I live 3 minutes away, there is no reason it should have been that cold. I do not recommend this place at all!!!

Friend and I both ordered bean and cheese burritos, poppers, and milkshakes. The poppers are shakes were fine. The burritos though... I don't understand the positive reviews. There was literally no spice whatsoever. At all. The "hot sauce" on the side was far more sweet than spicy. This is not even remotely Mexican or tex-mex, by a mile.

Dry, no seasoning, raw veggies. You're better off going to taco bell. Might be fake but at least they put flavor, sour cream and sauce in their burritos. Never will give this place another chance. Guess the real Mexican food is down south

This place is not put together well. The service is confusing and the girl at the window was clueless as what to do. That place is small and needs signs on were to order and were to pick up. The girl looked confused when she told us to drive around to order (,even though we already gave her our orde)r, ust to do waste time to drive around and go back to that same window to pay and get our food. The food was gross! I ordered the chicken quesadilla and the chicken looked like shredded dog food. My bf order a taco and that was gross too. We threw it away and went some place else

Tried this place yesterday for the first time and I don't believe we will be going back! I didn't like the chicken, I wasn't expecting it to be ground. The taco salad was not blah! My husband got an order of nachos to share with my son. For what they cost, I could not stop laughing when I opened them up! My husband asked what was on the beef and cheese burrito and the guy said just beef and cheese. When he ate it he noticed the rice in it. The salsa was soggy from a can or jar. We had higher expectations of this place, very disappointing. 😔 What Batavia really needs is a Mighty Taco!😀
