Such an amazing place! Can’t believe I just found out about here. We ordered a special combo and a chicken combo, a side of karaage and croquettes. I love the karaage very much! It has a very homey taste. It feels like what my grandma would make for me back home. The combo plate comes with a salad and bean sprouts sides, both sides are tasty. My husband called ahead and went in to pick up with our son. He said the whole ordering and picking up process were very smooth, and the lady was very nice! She gave our son a lollipop which made him so happy. Highly recommend this place, good food, reasonable prices, great portion and friendly service!
Who loves their local teriyaki takeout? Teri’s Place is an oldie, but goodie. Chicken teri(yaki) plate with some fried wontons on the side. They have tempura plates, noodles, and other Japanese takeout - call ahead. Support your local biz and enjoy!
The lady at the counter is always so friendly. This spot may be small but the size of the plates are not!!!! The food is as amazing as the prices!!!! Dont pass this hidden gem!!!! This special combination plate has alittle bit of everything. Salad and bean sprout salad. Won tons, potato croquet, chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken and teriyaki beef over rice.

They're so kind and welcoming here! I had lunch here for the first time today and it was so tasty 😋 their kaarage was the best I've ever had, it was so fresh and tender and the meat itself was delicious. The bean sprouts were really nice too! The combination plate deals are excellent and it's super fast and easy to order. I loved it here, I can't wait to come back for more. Thank you to the employees/owners!

Definitely comfort food. Excellent price for the amount of food that you get. Got the Teri Special that came with such variety! As long as you're not expecting gourmet food you will not be disappointed. Will be coming back! Very friendly staff. Not big enough for sit down so recommend take out.
Since COVID this place is taken out only. But the food is still delicious even in the to go container. I would suggest to call your order in before going especially around lunch or dinner times. Waits can creep up to 30-40 minutes during busiest times.

Staff - super nice. Fried squid - Really thick but tender. Batter is crispy and tastes good. Hamburger steak - not looking good but super tender super yummy! Salad - fresh, crispy Price - we say... Super Friendly!
About 20 years ago I moved to North Torrance. I have lived in Torrance ever since. I had never been to Teri's Place before. I had always heard that it was good, and I knew it was popular with my neighbors. Let me tell you, there is a reason it is popular. I had the chicken teriyaki plate at rice, broccoli, marinated bean sprouts and a small serving of potato salad. In addition, if you eat there Iced Green Tea is on the house. This is a great little hole-in-the-wall Eatery. I'm just sorry I didn't go there sooner. Price is very reasonable, the food is very fresh and well prepared. I am eagerly looking forward to going back. Don't get me wrong, it's not fancy, it's not Gourmet, it's not something a foodie would rave about. But the food is delicious satisfying fresh and it doesn't make you feel guilty. For the price of combination at McDonald's you get far superior food and you get to help a local business. I'm going back. Maybe I'll see you there.

After waiting for 40 minutes for an order of curry they forgot to give me the actual curry, just dry rice.
Yesterday night I went to have dinner with my family , at this place this lady was the waitress and the cashier at the same time. She was sneezing and coughing all Llover the place she didn’t even try to “wash her hands “at all!!! That is so gross I was very very disappointed!!
