Everything was fantastic. The homemade dessert was spectacular. The ambiance was disappointing because we dined alone, although it was a Thursday and freezing cold. I'll come back if I'm in the area.

We arrived in the middle of a business trip and stopped in Bembibre around 3 pm for lunch. The service was very friendly, and we ordered octopus and huevos rotos (broken eggs). Personally, I think the huevos rotos with cured beef and foie gras were good, but the octopus was much better (tender, served with potatoes on a separate plate, and very flavorful). All the desserts were excellent, although if I had to choose, I'd go with the waffles. Definitely a very good place to eat.

We discovered it on our way to Galicia on our last trip and loved it. The Bierzo peppers were delicious, the grilled baby squid were very tasty, and the octopus with potatoes was a must. The octopus croquettes were a bit underwhelming. Of course, a week later, on our return trip, we stopped here again and liked it even more. I hesitated to write this review out of pure selfishness, since sometimes you think it's better not to publicize places like this, but I think they deserve it. The service was friendly and super efficient.

Rrally good octopus, and the rest of the food is also great. And at a very reasonable price

Es uno de los pocos restaurantes en Bembibre. Está especializado en pulpo. Pero tiene una carta más amplia en la que puedes tomar arroces, carne y demás como en cualquier otro restaurante. Es un buen sitio. En días clave es mejor reservar, sino no encontrarás sitio. Buena relación calidad precio. Buen servicio, atento y eficaz.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Galicia. The octopus was delicious, as was the ham with peppers. It's a shame there were only four ham croquettes left. The octopus croquettes were delicious.

The mussels in sauce, the grilled scallops, and the octopus with potatoes were all excellent. The only downside was the wait for service. We didn't have a reservation. It was well worth the wait because of the quality of the food. I've saved this place as a recommended spot for dinner in Bembibre.

We ordered a portion of octopus, tripe, and mussels, and the portions were perfect and very well-made. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice, with soft music allowing for conversation, which was appreciated. The waitress's service was very good and pleasant. A pleasant place that I recommend. We paid about €36, including water and the three portions. Everything was perfect. 😊

Restaurant with a varied menu. 28 euro menu with three starters and a choice of main course, dessert, and a drink. Affordable menu. Large, good croquettes. Delicious desserts, especially the cheesecake. Friendly staff.

This is the second time we've stopped at this restaurant on our way to Galicia. It's truly worth stopping to recharge. Both times we ate on the awning-covered terrace, enjoying the lovely temperature. We had octopus, scallops, and Iberian pork. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent.

Nothing like it used to be. We ordered four dishes, and for two of them, they didn't charge us the price listed on the menu (they charged us €1 more on each). We ordered wine, and without asking, they brought a bottle for €13, which they never mentioned or inquired about. We paid respectfully, but we won't be back.

We were recommended this dish, but it wasn't what we expected. The baguette bread seemed like it was from the day before, hardly worthy of representing the area with the delicious breads available. The octopus was scarce and expensive (half or less than other local restaurants). The ahi in sauce could have been much improved. The entrecote was average, and the secret was not bad and was the only thing that escaped the spotlight. We've eaten in many places all over Spain, good, bad, expensive, and cheap. And being from here, in the Bierzo region, I'm embarrassed to have to give my first such negative review of a restaurant in my hometown. The octopus tapa is double...freshly delivered...€32.
