Met some friends there for lunch when we were passing through. Food was served hot and fresh. Thanks for a great experience.
No lie, I want hold you, MAN THIS THE BEST BURGER YOU CAN EVER GET AHOLD TO, it's the same every time, and I'm from Mississippi so I know HOMEMADE when I taste it, this place really hold the TITLE to da phrase HOMEMADE BURGER🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 #RANKING #1 in burgers
Highly recommend! The staff was friendly and informative. The food was prepared quickly and everything was delicious. Probably the best onion rings I've ever had - perfectly crisp but lightly coated with the ideal peppery kick! The chili (hot dog) and the cattleman burger was also outstanding. The atmosphere was throwback/old school. Mostly family style tables.
It was my second time eating at this establishment. I came in right as the doors opened (as I know this place can be super busy)around lunch time. I was greeted warmly by James with a seasons greetings. Honestly, he made the experience for me. He upsold me on some bacon even! They honor military discount which was another bonus. The Manager and team treated me as family! To me, this is testament to the hard work and service standards they provide. Everything was clean and the individuals are extremely friendly. Shout out to the whole Staff at Kincaid’s Hamburgers off Overton in S. Fort Worth. James thank you for your attention to detail on my order, and most importantly your overall warmth. I can tell management is phenomenal because everyone is smiling and having fun. Fully Recommend!! The food was great, but the atmosphere the staff provided was exceptional.
This is...Hands Down, The best hamburger on this planet. Regular cheeseburger, 8 bucks... the meat patty way at least 3/4" thick...the onion rings are excellent too! If you don't go and experience this for yourself, well... that's on you.
I should have taken a picture, I got the bacon cheeseburger meal and made it a double. Went with my mom. They have an assortment of food and it's a home style restaurant, they have long tables and benches to sit, reminded me of a barbecue restaurant. No barbecue, just chicken sandwiches and burgers mostly but they have other different items like corn dogs and whatnot. Back to the bacon double. It was awesome. 9/10 overall. 2 1/2 pound patties. Or you can get junior 1/4 patties. I wanted to test them and see what they got so I got the double 1/2 and let me tell you. It's a lot. Even if you come hungry. The 1/2 is enough, I barely finished the double. But it's full of flavor that's unique to Kincaid's with a price that's easy on the wallet. Fresh Angus meat grilled to perfection with bacon, delicious. The bacon is hard for some people to get right, it has to be crispy with some give, slighty chewy, not burned. Kincaid's got it right. They make it with the works unless you customize it. No onions on mine. Only one con: There's a lot of juicy/some grease so as you're eating the burger buns will get soggy and the burger will start to fall apart. That's why I didn't get the chili burger because I didn't want to make a mess. But I noticed the bread got soggy and once that happens you're gonna have a hard time bud. One or napkins ain't gonna cut it. The fries were okay nothing special but tasted good. Also, the staff was friendly , establishment was clean, and atmosphere good. Like I said, 9/10 I would go again and would recommend. Drink is not included with meal FYI.
Julius was so so helpful! I got a cattleman and there was onions, pickles, and barbecue sauce. I never had it before but this absolute GOAT helped me. I wanted extra pickles and they gave me so so so much. Helped with my late night hangover! Would recommend and kudos to this young gentleman for helping me choose an excellent meal before seeing my grandfather moving to mountains in North Texas. The food is so good that you’ll wanna keep coming everytime, I’m gonna be so big by the end of this month
Great local burgers with the option to have a junior burger. Fresh and locally made. Onion rings were tasty but a sparse serving for the price. The Okra side was good enough. If you are looking for casual dining with shared bench seating, this place works! We went after church, and they were slammed, but it was worth the wait. It's definitely not a national chain that makes it all the better.
My boyfriend & I came here to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. Amazing experience. James made us feel so welcome. My boyfriend is a longtime Steelers fan and we were able to talk to him about it and relate. The food is always phenomenal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I got the Cowtown with onion rings. Btw, best onion rings ever
Fort Worth only chain family owned and the original location is still open on Camp Bowie. This satellite location is the next best thing to the original and the food is just as great. I had the 1/2 lb cheeseburger w/ onion ring rings. The counter staff was friendly and the wait was as expected for a “we don’t make it until you order it” restaurant. If you like All American fare you will find something great here.
First time eating at this establishment. Decided to stop by during one of my pet sits that I am on in the area. I ordered my food by phone and picked my items up shortly after. Firecracker hamburger and chocolate malt. 👍🏾 First thing I noticed when I came in the door is one of the employees in the back, touching on his face (including his nose) and rubbing his hair as he was talking to a coworker while at the food prep table. (I realize people do this sometimes without noticing -he was really into the conversation). I spoke up immediately and told him how he shouldn't be doing that by the food. I did it in a light-hearted way, but the young man had an attitude in response. Two of the managers were at the front counter witnessed my concern. One apologized for it and the other one addressed him about it. Instead of apologizing or even feeling embarrassed, the young man, responded "I wear gloves to prepare the food" with a rude tone and rolled his eyes. I responded "Yes but there's skin flakes and dandruff and whatnot..." I am thankful for the two ladies who I assume were managers who at least took the time out to educate the young man and I hope he learns a little bit more about food hygiene and customer service. If nothing else, he could have kept his mouth closed instead of trying to defend himself, even if you didn't have the courtesy to apologize. Outside of that, the burger that I ordered was hot fresh and delicious and The malt was good. Would have been five stars all around if not for this interaction. I won't be returning because of that experience. Being in the service industry myself, I believe it is important that the customer feels heard and that their concerns are met with sincerity, not challenged.
Upon entering, I loved it! Very old-fashioned and reminded me of going to the burger places where my parents grew up. Everything after that was just okay. The cashier was somewhat rude and impatient/short with everyone she encountered. Guess it wasn’t her day. I ordered the Cattleman burger and to say it looked nothing like the pic is an understatement. That pic is all juicy, bbq flowing down the sides, melted cheese, thick onion ring, I got none of that. Mine looked like a cracked out, dry McDonald’s burger. But the price isn’t bad so I guess that made up for it? The place was clean, so I did appreciate that. And I loved the decor. It’s at least worth a visit.
Took 28 minuets to get 4 burger orders with fries and 2 kids chicken strip meals. The fries were extremely hot while the burgers were warm, different temperatures. About 4 orders that were placed after mine got their order before mine
The burger patty while had no seasoning and was bland yet I was full when I left so bonus. Not the best I've had but decent. Fries were pretty good tho. And the gentleman that took my order was extremely nice. Great music if you like country! A small dance floor would be awesome! 👍 Price was kinda high for 1 person yet I did get an extra patty so..
Felt like more if a community picnic in there. Est in 1946 and it showed. The hamburger that was so hyped up is okay no where near the top ten burgers that I have had. Their crinkle fries sucked. Also I will never understand restaurants where I ho to the counter to order, I go back to the counter to get the food that is served in a to go sack, I then throw away my trash and yet they have the audacity to have a tip jar and tip screen. Sorry I dont tip when I am doing everything but making the mediocre tasting food.
This place fell completely off. Soggy cold burgers + hard burnt fries is definitely not what I asked for nor expected when they claim it’s made to order. The patty was as stiff as a hockey puck. No flavor accompanied by wilted lettuce dripping with water as it mixes with the rest of the condiments. Grotesque. This place used to have good food and good customer service but it’s not the same.
$8.50 for jr cheeseburger and almost $6?for BLT w/one piece of bacon. . Onion rings were small and thin…way over priced for amount of food. All portions were small. Camp Bowie location is way better. Do not recommend
The burger wasn't made to order and was old and cold. I asked her for lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, but had to cut my own tomatoes and add it to the burger. I asked for jalapenos on the side, but they were added to the burger. The fries were also cold and the onion rings were hard. I'm so disappointed.
We went in and this was the worst experience we have ever had here. There were mostly teenagers working there all joking around, being loud, arguing. We could hear all of their conversations. The food was mediocre and that’s being nice. I usually think Kincaids is amazing but I would definitely go to the one on Camp Bowie and not this one. The employees seemed out out by us ordering they weren’t even nice there was this attitude like “ugh hurry up and order” there was not anyone behind us and they were not busy. The girl that was putting the ketchup on the tables didn’t take that white paper out when she did which I thought was odd. Then the girl getting the trash inside was fighting with some guy not fist fighting but arguing. This was a fail.
