I visited here a few times great food and very friendly staff , highly recommend.

If you are looking for characters this is the place to go. If you are Scottish and a bit homesick also the place to go. If a piece n sausage ( square obvs) is your thing also the place to go.

Just been to the thisle bar and kitchen had salt and chilli chicken wing large portion and by far the best tasting ive ever had. Friendly staff and good prices.

Super kind and good owners and bartenders. Good community of people gather here and while it may be small it isn't cramped.

I'm coeliac and always eat here when in Benidorm due to the impressive range of delicious, home-made, gluten free menu options and full awareness of the issue with one of the owners being coeliac. The stew was wonderfully tender in a rich gravy along with creamy mash.

Brilliant wee cafe, sorted my pal out that was hunting all day for gluten free options and once we found this place we were back every day, brilliant service with a smile and a laugh, be back again asap

Buena experiencia como celiaca, la dueña adapta casi todos los platos y conoce bien el problema de la contaminación cruzada con gluten, aunque la cocina en instalaciones son pequeñas y no puede tener dos freidoras, te fríe las cosas separadas, en sartén. Tiene incluso repostería sin gluten. Es un sitio muy pequeño y sencillito y la comida, que está muy rica, es muy inglesa (o muy escocesa). Los horarios también. Por cierto, la dueña no habla gota de español, aunque es muy amable. A hablar en inglés o entenderse por señas!

We had breakfast here this morning and it was fantastic, large portions, great size cups of coffee and fantastic chat. Will be back!

Had proper Scottish breakfast here while in benidorm. Was delicious. Lovely friendly ladies who own and run the thistle. Would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the old town. Immaculate cafe. Lovely furnishings.

Had the homemade chicken pie with mash, veg and gravy, loved it, sorted out my hang over. Service was great and it was a pleasure to talk with the owner. A******

A lovely friendly place with lovely friendly staff. Scottish vibe (obviously) and really lovely reasonably priced food, where the cater fantastically for my partner's Gluten Free diet.

Perfect little place of home when you ain't at home. Came for breakfast on a Saturday and was nothing but perfection. We mentioned that we would bring more people the next day (Sunday) and it was supposed to be closed. But low and behold, they opened up just because we were coming. Such great service and beautiful food!! Would highly recommend!!!

Great find for gluten free food and understanding of cross contamination. As a coeliac this venue was a fantastic find to know that my food was safe to eat. Peter and Karen were able to explain everything on the menu and ingredients. A happy place for any coeliac.

Finally got around to going here. We fancied a Scottish breakfast, it was one of everything you'd expect plus some haggis with tomatoes or beans although it was more like a late lunch if you consider the time, 4 pm ish. There was loads of other tempting things on the menu too, Homemade steak pies for e.g. I love to see that word 'homemade' on menus. My man got a pint of Tennant's and I had an irn bru. Nice place, friendly staff, good hearty food if you fancy a Scottish place that does food in the old town, give it a go. Times are wrong as we were told they are closed on Thursdays though.

I went for breakfast after being in the Thistle Bar the previous night; Scottish breakfast with Lorne sausage, etc. was very nice and well worth a visit for a hangover breakfast curer.

Smelt of a sewer and the seats were so uncomfortable!!.

The worst Sunday lunch we have ever had! We came here because of previous reviews but the beef and turkey were just tasteless microwaved meat and the turkey tasted very odd and was inedible. I suspect the other veg were a mixture of frozen and microwaved as I could hear the microwave on overdrive in the background so this should have set alarm bells ringing! Even the roast potatoes were microwaved and not good. Awful food and at 11 euros each it certainly was nowhere near the cheapest in Benidorm, I can't believe they had the gall to serve up such rubbish. Deeply disappointing, will not be returning.

Bardzo podły hamburger i jeszcze gorsze frytki. Jeśli szanujecie swój żołądek i pieniądze wybierzcie inne miejsce. Zdecydowanie odradzam.

Zamówiliśmy burgera i curry z kurczaka. To było... Straszne. Ohydne. Do tego smród papierosów z zewnątrz. Zdecydowanie NIE polecam.

Ciężko opisać jak bardzo słabe było to co dostaliśmy bo ciężko nazwać to jedzeniem. Zamówiliśmy burgera z frytkami. Dostaliśmy marketową zimną bułkę z marketowym kotletem oraz najtańszym serem, z którego kapał tłuszcz. Frytki miały posmak starego oleju, na którym ktoś wcześniej smażył rybę oraz ser pleśniowy. Jednym słowem nie jadalne. Chyba nigdy nie dostałem tak podłego dania. Jedna gwiazdka to zdecydownie za dużo na to miejsce. Omijać szerokim łukiem. Bleeeeeeeeee

As a Scot this is the worst breakfast I have had. Best ingreedient tattie scone what they tried to pass off as lorne sausage is indescribable. Haggis and blackpudding no flavour and who has mushrooms with a Scottish breakfast. Sorry guys your kitchen is living off the reviews of your great wee pub which we have visited many times. Invest in proper Scottish food.

2 out of 7 Breakfasts were warm 5 were absolutely beyond cold poor ingredients insipid and unappetising bacon a totally ruined New Year's Day morning the 3 stars went out to the waitress who tried her best ,sadly the lady owner cooking didn't show her face tbh I can understand why !!!!,poor practice.
