⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Borghetto – Bergamo An elegant and welcoming place, perfect for a quality dinner. I come often because the tartares—both meat and fish—are truly excellent: carefully prepared, carefully presented, and above all, very flavorful. The other dishes on the menu are also well-crafted, and you can see the care taken in selecting the ingredients. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends. A place that's always worth a visit!

This restaurant is in a very cozy setting, with good music that never hinders conversation. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, professional, and cordial, eager to help you enjoy the evening. The food is very good, the dishes are well presented, and the portions are adequate and perfectly shareable. The extensive wine list offers various designations of origin. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a leisurely evening. I highly recommend it. I recommend making a reservation.

I went yesterday with my partner and two of our family members, and I'd go back tonight in a heartbeat! The service was super knowledgeable and friendly, and the familiar flavors of everyday products are revisited with a blend of tradition and innovation. I'll just say that I don't eat raw fish because I don't like it, and the dishes I enjoyed the most were the raw red tuna and raw shrimp tartar. The location is beautiful both inside and out, both intimate and friendly. Keep it up! One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, if not the best.

My husband and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day here because he's a huge tartare lover. The restaurant doesn't have much seating, so I recommend making a reservation. The atmosphere is very relaxed and refined. We decided to try several exclusively meat-based dishes, and everything was truly delicious and meticulously prepared. Our favorite tartare was the Mexican one, very unique yet perfectly balanced. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the dinner, without being overbearing. It was an unforgettable romantic dinner! I recommend the experience to everyone because it's truly worth it.

We had a great dinner here tonight. Borghetto is putting a modern interpretation on traditional Italian dishes and specializes in tartars, charcuterie and fish. We had a very tasty charcuterie board with a selection of local hams, cured meats, cheeses and a pizza with ham and creamy burrata. Don't expect the average pizza but rather a foccia style pizza with a creamy burrata base with ham topping in our case. The base is a touch on the drier side but it mixes very well with the heavy creamy burrata and succulent ham. The charcuterie board gave us a great selection of meats with salami, three types of cheese (goat cheese, camenbert-style and blue cheese), mortadella, prosciutto and some sweet fruity mustard to balance out the heavy cheese. Borghetto has a great selection of local and international wines with an educated staff at hand to help you with pairing the best wine to your dish. To finish this evening we had some pana cotta and cheese cake, both very tasty and beautifully presented. The staff was very kind and offered help with the menu as it was only available in Italian (@Borghetta maybe just put the translated menu on your website and add a QR code for international travelers). One of the best restaurants in Bergamo in its price range and certainly one of the best of Bergamo at large. I'll most certainly come back to test out the other dishes and already look forward to that date. A full house packed with locals seems to support my opinion of Borghetto and due to its location (being a bit farther from the usual tourist hotspots) you'll see the real Bergamo here. TL;DR If you like quality meat and are not afraid of a hilly walk from Bergamo central, I highly recommend you reserve a table and check out this restaurant. Food and service are super and the price is matching the quality of the food served.
